There is a sense of delight in the air, the melodies of spring birds, and comfortable air are all sure signs that the spring season will soon be here.

The March 20, 2016, spring equinox confirms the spring season and within 7 days Easter will bring the children to play and adults to prayer.

Perhaps there is some sort of uniqueness to this eclipse because it’s not a perfect eclipse. Some do not even call it a real eclipse as the moon will be gliding through the Earth’s shadow very quickly. Some may get lucky and see this if they are in Australia or East Asia. But how exciting will it be for those that see that beautiful reddish hue over the moon which many call the “Blood Moon.” Alternatively, we can refer to this moon, minus the eclipse, the traditional way as a Lenten Moon or Harvest moon; it really does not matter as long as we understand that the full moon, with or without the eclipse, always brings closures. Especially paired with an eclipse, it is bound to be a closer in a person’s life depending upon the aspect of the energy which it holds.

It is a beautiful lunar eclipse, and blood moon, occurring a few days before Easter. As the full moon always brings natural endings, full moons are considered auspicious in the Hindu culture. On this full moon is also the Hindu holiday Holi Festival which delights and welcomes the spring season.

Since this eclipse is a faint eclipse, most people will see this as full moon with nothing more. The Penumbral Lunar Eclipse is when the Earth shadow does not completely cover the moon, only shadowing it, creating effects which are fainter than the total lunar eclipse.

The actual eclipse motion begins at 5:30am EST and at this time many people on the east coast will see the eclipse, but once again it will seem that the moon is merely turning full. It will seem this way around 6:57am EST. But the moon will not actually be completely full until 8:01am EST, 5:01 PST. Hence, in the blink of an eye the eclipse will be over at 9:54am. The entire effect from start to finish is about four hours but it is so unnoticeable that it may not seem real. This may be so in the physical world however, on a psychological and spiritual world it will be a different world altogether.

This full moon and eclipse is considered a Libra/Aries eclipse entering 3 degrees depending upon the orb around 8:01pm EST. All early born Libra and Aries will be greatly impacted by this eclipse. But rest assured, anyone that has Libra or Aries anywhere in their astrological house will also be impacted depending upon where in the house which Aries or Libra is positioned. On the same note I call it guilty by association. ALL fire signs (Leo, Aries and Sagittarius) will be affected as Aries will be affected, as well as all Air signs (Gemini, Libra and Aquarius).

Then again, Vedic philosophies would consider that since this eclipse is creating cross function endings in cardinal conjunctions, all cardinal signs will also be effected; which means all those that have Cardinal Signs in their chart (Cancer, Libra, Aries, and Capricorn) will be involved. The distinctiveness of this moon has riddled across religious aspects of omens and the deep religious thinkers alike. The controversies continue in that whenever a blood moon, lunar eclipse, or solar eclipse is so close to Easter it has a symbolism. Some state that the following Bible passage reflects this idea:

“I watched as he opened the sixth seal. There was a great earthquake. The sun turned black like sackcloth made of goat hair, the whole moon turned blood red, and the stars in the sky fell to earth, as figs drop from a fig tree when shaken by a strong wind. The heavens receded like a scroll being rolled up, and every mountain and island was removed from its place.”

it was also referred in book of Matthew and Joel.

I was thinking about this as I was outlining and researching this blog. I had this strong pull to contact my son whose chosen path is to lead Christian people. He wants to do this through his erudition gained through pastoral studies. He said to me, “It all sounds very unique mom. But in the Book of Mark it says that no one will know when the Lord will come, the day or the hour.” I replied, “Perhaps no, perhaps yes, but it sure is unique.”

This exceptional manifestation occurs when there are four total lunar eclipses within a 6 month period of time without a partial eclipse in between. Remember that there were four blood moons occurring April 15 2014, October 08, 2014, April 04, 2015 and September 28, 2015. Other sages trust the nirvana of an assured prophecy in a biblical sense because of the moon turning red.

My curiosity and theoretic prospective is not based upon religious practices, or biblical derivatives, rather, I look at an environmental and philosophical world view. Each eclipse (April 15 2014, October 08, 2014, April 04, 2015 and September 28, 2015 including March 23, 2016) was a Libra/Aries eclipse with blood moon or lunar eclipse. Libra can be defined as harmony, compassion, law, and fairness and willingness to negotiate. Aries can be defined as driven, stubborn, and strong.

When two opposites collide there can often be a stalemate; it can either cause each party to walk away in a different direction with resentment and sorrow, or anger and revenge. The result will depend upon the element of the negotiation and the parties if they are willing to compromise.

However, I also believe in full circles and history repeating itself; exactly 19 years ago working backwards, which would be March 23, 1996, September 26, 1996 (give take a day or two due to the leap year), April 3, 1996, October 8, 1995, April 15, 1995 were all eclipses in Libra/Aries. Here we are 19 years later and history is repeating which means 19 years from now (2034/2035) it will happen again. Perhaps those of you who are still following my blogs will remember what I wrote today or maybe not, but definitely something significant is in place besides the presidency.

Let’s rewind…In 1994 and 1995 Bill Clinton was the President of the United States (hmm) could history repeat itself? In 1994 the deadly Ebola virus has the highest fatality rate. Now in 2016 we have the Zika virus; could it be that in 19 years we may have new virus? 19 years ago the O.J Simpson Trial and investigation began, he was found not guilty but no real answers were found. In 2016, will the People v. O.J Simpson television show uncover those? The heat wave in 1995 killed 3,000 in the central United States. It has been predicted already that this it is going to be an unusually hot summer in 2016. In pop culture 1995 was Janet Jackson’s year and 19 years later she is touring again; does this mean she will make headlines? All of this is history in the making and perhaps 19 years from now new information will make all of this rock solid. Perhaps the news is good, perhaps not, but it will be an awaking for many.

Hindu cultures constantly consider the lunar eclipse to be favorable although the solar eclipse is not. Countless Hindu experts bathe in the sacred rivers such as Ghangi River, however, many who cannot make it there bathe in a Spiritual Bath. They also fast and do one million Japa to attain blessings from Gods. Those who want to cure a flaw should do an appropriate mantra to bring relief.

However, not much relief is going to be needed this year as one of most fun festivals will be celebrated. Holi, known as Phagwan in Sanskrit, Holka in some parts of India, and the festival of colors to many, was once celebrated by Vedic followers. Now Holi has spread throughout Asia and even parts of Canada and Europe. It is usually celebrated the day after the full moon in March. However, there is a deeper religious story attached to Holi which was discussed in the 7th century called Ratnaval which speaks of good v. evil and burning of the Holka. Holi has always been referred to as a festival officially welcoming spring to celebrate new life and energy with the change of season.

Holi abandons the caste systems and has no restrictions of age or gender. Public displays of affection and flirting are allowed. Bonfires, dancing, singing, and smearing each other with power colors and water colors welcomes spring with love and laughter. On the other side of the hemisphere everything seems to be very serious as people prepare for Lent, Easter, and the Red moon.

Before the blood moon was presented, those in the Southern and Northern Hemispheres planned their seasons by the silhouette and color of the moon. Those in the Southern Hemisphere named the moon in March a Blood moon, Hunters moon, or Harvest moon, again because of the color. Whereas, the shadow of the moon is different in the Northern Hemisphere and they named the full moon the Lenten moon.

This Lunar Eclipse, Red full moon in Libra, will monitor people with cardinal signs (Libra, Aries, Capricorn and Cancer); to appreciate how they will be able react to the needs to others. Additionally, to see if they are irritated and reluctant to identify that something or someone is not what it or they seem to be, and not as solid as they once had recognized. It is frequently said that to distinguish what we will feel during the eclipse, especially the ones that are geared to transform Libra & all Cardinal signs and those that have cardinal sign in their chart, we must think back to how life was about 19 to 20 years ago. We have reached the point where the exact degree the lunar eclipse equals that which occurred on March 23, 1996. At that time it was also at 3 degrees and it was an Aries/Libra eclipse.

Since the eclipse is corresponding with the placement of the moon (not in a straight line), things may be a little is unbalanced yet we must continue to be balanced. An eclipse always transports chaos and sporadic mayhem that can be difficult but does not have to be cruel. We must preserve in our consciousness the lunar eclipse (in the dark), and anywhere the lunar eclipse falls in a specific chart, disturbs the contrasting houses. Therefore, I would not be surprised that fire signs would be affected by this eclipse as well. In ordinary terms, it will be the lesser area which will affect the crisis the most.

The full moon in Libra brings highlighting to relationships, constancy, and independence. But naturally, full moon signifies climaxes and new openings. The eclipse and the moon will be questioning how relationships are valued as well as what kinds of people are being attracted to one another. Questions will be detriments to finding a way to meet each other half way. Additionally, it is about self-accountability and position in the relationship.

Libra stands for thoughtful balance and harmony while Aries stands for inflexibility and how we display attitude and narrate towards others. Thus, energy will root precariousness, anguish, and interference. The energy will endeavor to toss away the old and bring a new element of relationships that was never affected before. However, transformation can be very challenging for people, particularly cardinal signs (primarily Libra) who like regularity in their relationships.

Libra energy stimulates strength as Aries reigns us with vigor to shape an improved future for us. However, for fire signs (Aries, Leo & Sagittarius), especially Sagittarius and those that have primary planets in Sagittarius, things were fine for a little while under Saturn (Planet of difficult lessons was direct). Plans were being made, truth and family conversations were taking place, but most of all family decisions were the main topic.

Whenever Saturn is involved in a person’s life the phase focuses primarily on self-control, responsibilities, stability, reliability, commitment, and endurance. When Saturn entered Sagittarius in December 2014, (read about it here), it was meant to transform Sagittarius like no other. When it is retrograde it is important to evaluate, confirm, and take responsibilities for past, present, and future commitments. This means there are uncertainties, then the opportunities will be there to change your mind, but please be careful as things will be very confusing when Neptune comes to visit this chaotic period June 1 through June 20, 2016. Not only is Saturn about difficult lessons but Saturn is a Karmic planet thus always in conjunction with past life and past responsibilities.

Retrogrades are nothing to Virgos, as a mutable sign just like Sagittarius, Jupiter retrograde remains as lucky as it is supposed to be. I have had many Virgos complain about issues of health, work, and relationships; many are turning to obsession, comfort food, and spending.

Earth signs, especially Virgo’s, have a feast to famine mentality. When they are working they are workaholics, when they are not they can be lazy at times. They don’t mind hours in front of the television watching the news or their favorite sci-fi flick. But one thing for sure, they don’t mind evaluating others and things, but evaluating themselves is difficult to do for all earth signs (Virgo, Taurus and Capricorn). Jupiter retrograde is about introspection and being more reliant on your personal perception rather than others. There will be a strong pull to transform into the person we want to be. During this time spontaneous job opportunities may arise, education and travel is not out of the question, but most of all a friend or an old lover that may have rejected you in past may come back into your life. This may be because they still have more to teach you.

Each eclipse conveys different effects into our world and supports us in the reexamination of many things within our lives. For Libras, this journey pushed you every time that there was an eclipse. The eclipse on April 15, 2014 interrogated your transformation (read about it here), October 08, 2014 questioned how reasonable you are and what you are altering about yourself (read about it here), and the April 04, 2015 eclipse questioned your stability in life and what you believe that needs your devotion and assertion (read about it here). Finally, this is the last eclipse in Libra/Aries for 19 years; the question is will you be on a beautiful tree or playing with mud 19 years from now?

The full moon brings with it various choices. Some may find steadiness among power and rationality. However, there may be some pressure between wanting to be alone and wanting to be with someone to fill the void. If to fill the void, a wrong choice is made there will be regrets. I suggest that you do not make any decisions in regard to any relationship issues until the energy of the moon has passed the orb. This is 5-6 days before and after the full moon, March 16 through March 30, 2016.

Hemorrhage and blood loss are more likely during a Full Moon, so take care. This is the time to Collect, Pray and be Grateful, and to work on productivity and achievement. Love and Romance go wild under a Full Moon, particularly around midnight. In a full moon there is extraordinary impartiality, strong mindedness, and a consciousness of your own desires and the needs of others. Attend to your inner voice and pursue a balance that is significant. There are no champions or failures in a relationship, there are only knowledgeable characters.

The passionate red moon could bring fire, yet it could also bring climaxes to toxic relationships. Libra Moon morals fragrant relationships. It acts in a way to make sure that one is precious and that love is reserved. It’s a need to satisfy the people they feel close to and to be nurtured with kindness, amicability, and with music and beautiful things. Libra Moon desires a close friendship, partnership, or marriage to feel maintained and safe. There is desire of necessity for congruence, correspondence, and pleasant atmospheres. In expressive circumstances, the Libra Moon has a habit of turning one very rational, trying to make sensible choices, exhibiting loathing dissimilarities, or even conducting diplomacy out of hostility. People will have robust compassion and magnetism for others. This comes from the Libran exploration for harmonization and symmetry as the Libra situation highlights partnership. It’s a noble time to form partnerships of all natures—friendships, marriages, and business.

This eclipse energy is so robust that many will feel this tug as early as the 16th of March all the way until the 23rd of March though others may already be feeling it. Therefore, convey diplomacy in relationships. Bargain to be independent yet understanding. Take your time and if others disregard the relationship for taking the time out of your relationship, then do what you can not to retaliate. But at the same time, making decisions to end a relationship, or harsh actions, will not be the way to go unless this is clearly the best decision. If it is, it will NEVER come back at the same kindness it was when it began because the eclipse gives much energy and edge to never go back again. Eclipse and full moon together is natural for grand finales.

This eclipse is principally relationship oriented – our affairs through others can be isolated, challenged, or suddenly repaired as the revelation calls one to exploit. This eclipse cores on the intimate and personal relations; we may be strongly considered about our feelings and needs within the perspective of the house, sign, and planetary aspects affected. To fully grow in the lunar eclipse, discover both houses and signs that are brought into play.

Definitely communicate feelings! People are hurried to reach a comprehensible clarification for any sensitive problem and will jump right in to offer a helpful certainty. The moods may shift on and off. There are numerous facets of a condition and we may need to bend to others. Since the Solar eclipse brings something new (read about it here) and the lunar eclipse ends something to make space for something new, the general tendencies are the overall potential of both energies combined in areas of a Vedic view.
This eclipse will affect Libras and those that have Libra in their chart, as well as similar cardinal signs (Libra, Capricorn, Aries and Cancer). Some people will say it is a romantic eclipse, I say it is a transformational eclipse because not only is it the last eclipse in Libra for 19 years, but it is a historical evolution.

I will begin my predictions with the impacted astrological signs first as they will go through a phenomenal transformation.

Libra: The eclipses have really triggered your spiritual, internal, and worldview transformational changes since 2014. Your journey began April 15, 2014 when you knew you needed some changes, but the universe questioned every change you wanted to make (read about it here). On October 8, 2014, again the universe questioned how cooperative you were with others and what changes you may have been willing to make (read about it here). Finally 2015 came around and you may have thought everything was fine. However, the universe came knocking at your door again April 04, 2015 once again questioning, with all the changes, is everything in your life is as stable as you think or are still walking around with rose color glasses (read about it here)? This eclipse is in combination with the Total Solar Eclipse last month (read about it here) where the focus must be on your health and money, but entertaining must be last. Now the time has come for changing physically, internally, and spiritually. There is a high degree of internal battles and you must give yourself the time and patience because you will finally realize you want a better life.

Capricorn: Your career, money, and lady luck may have slowed down. It won’t last long though because in May things could start to improve as Jupiter begins to move direct (read about it here). But be wise, this is a year of earth sign eclipses so come April be extra cautious as Mercury will shake and rattle your cousin Taurus. The Solar Eclipse (read about it here) opened the door for you to travel, open communications, and look at life in whole new prospective. You will now come to peace with many people. You may even change a career. The next six months are about planting seeds and reorganizing your life, changing your career, and remembering not to get stressed.

Aries: At least the universe is done with your eclipses for a while. But he is not done changing you, of course, as you may be effected by Saturn in some way through association (Read about it here), possibly having to do with family or work. The Total Solar Eclipse (read about it here) pre-warns you for the next six months to be careful of unplanned expenses and health issues. Do not push aside or ignore these warnings. This eclipse focuses a lot on new career opportunities. Work on being closer to your children as minor physical or emotional mishaps could occur. You now have six months to take care of your money, health issues, children, restructuring your marriage, and remembering to think very carefully before your act or react to anything whatsoever otherwise you will regret it in the fall.

Cancer: You know you love the spring and summer seasons. It’s time to relax a little. The last Total Solar Eclipse (read about it here) warned you that you must protect your character as people may walk all over you. As always, you love to travel in the spring and summer anyway, but perhaps you may actually enjoy it this time. Trying any kind of spiritual or learning activities won’t hurt you at all. The next six months beautify your current home or move. Stay very transparent towards your family and do not try to be anything you are not. If you want to change your hair color or clothing, go ahead the universe will bless it. But remember, you must rest and relax a few days before and after the eclipse as it is a very strong vibration. For six months protect yourself, travel, enjoy yourself, get involved in spiritual activities, change your home, be transparent, and change yourself outwardly if you want.

Mutable signs (Pisces, Virgo, Sagittarius, and Gemini). Pisces, you have two more eclipses for your transformation. Virgo you are almost done as this fall is your last one. Sagittarius, the universe will not make you go through eclipses while you are going through Saturn. Gemini, you will be affected by the Aquarius eclipses which are starting this fall.

Pisces: A spiritual transformation is in order for you. It is time to leave the materialistic world behind and come into a time of a more humanistic world. During the March 20, 2015 eclipse the universe gives you all the blessing to begin your transformation. Will you appreciate it? The Total Solar Eclipse on March 08, 2016 (read about it here) was about your attitude, and the reaction to defending things and who you are. For this eclipse, and for the next six months, you will be able to look at loss so you can find where life really is and the progression of being one with the universe. Make sure you make the most of the connection with the universe. Remember, you still have two more eclipses to complete your transformation; one this fall and one in the spring of 2017.

Gemini: It seems that the universe always makes you go “stop and go” three times a year. Through retrograde one has passed and two more are coming. But remember that, by association, you will be affected by the eclipses this fall in Aquarius. The total solar eclipse two weeks ago (read about it here) wants you to focus more on your work and share knowledge with large groups of people, however, be warned that this eclipse is in an air sign but it does not mean it will be bad. Together with that, you are going through a wonderful rebirth for the next six months get your creativity up, involve children and family in your life, take life very slow, and please don’t rush because you may make mistakes.

Virgo: It does not take much to confuse you so let me start by saying, depending upon which science you choose to focus on, Jupiter (lady luck) can be in your sign if you wish to look at it in a western belief. But Vedic philosophies state it is in Leo and will enter your sign in the fall so let’s see what happens then. Nevertheless, for the time being you may find work, money, love, and happiness to be a little scattered as Jupiter, the planet of expansion, is moving backward in your sign (read about it here) but won’t be retrograding for long; only until May 2016. Add to that, Mercury retrograde is in earth signs so it’s a double whammy on your head. One retrograde passed; it happened Dec-Feb (read about it here) and another is coming in April. The last eclipse (read about it here) was not really focused on you as much as being able to support your partner and getting ready for new people in your life; especially to make sure every decision is humble and spiritual. This eclipse will show you that you had taken on obligations that were not yours to begin with and you could not grow because you kept on being a “helpasaurous.” You will soon realize who your friends/associates/supporters really are. You are now about to bring a new person into the world; a stronger, self-confident, and solid person. You will see for yourself that the person you are now will not be the person you will be in September, 2016.

Sagittarius: Perhaps I will make you feel good for a moment. According to Vedic Philosophies, Saturn is in Scorpio. Does that make you feel good? Well since Vedic inferences are based upon the moon and not the sun, maybe you are on top of the moon and Scorpios are sick and having a hard time. Maybe that was a nice dream, maybe not. As always, Mercury causes you to be bonkers and you know he always comes at the wrong time. He will be back in April, right at the time when Saturn will go direct for you (Read about it here). The total solar eclipse (read about it here) blesses you for six months to purchase a home, beautify your current home, buy a new car, or simply just bring some freshness into your life. However, it also warns you of retrogrades and that Saturn could spoil things for you. This eclipse wants you to focus on changes; for whatever ends, something new will begin. Your career is about to take off. Finally, make sure that any changes that you make are done peacefully for the next six months.

Fixed signs (Scorpio, Taurus, Leo, and Aquarius): Scorpio, maybe you’re out of that rut for a while, maybe not. However, we all know, by association, all fixed signs may be affected by the Aquarius season which begins this fall. But for now, let’s enjoy the spring/summer.

Scorpio: So that was scary… According to Vedic Philosophies, Saturn is in Scorpio, creating symptoms, relationship issues, sickness, money issues, family issues, and lethargy. For today we will not think of the confusing mess. The Total Solar Eclipse two weeks ago (read about it here) supports for the next six months higher education and positive news for those who have children. It was also about re-evaluating what you do for a living. This eclipse is focused on your own transformation for the next six months which knocks at your spirituality. There needs to be a re-connection to the higher power and a deeper understanding that bereavement is something that happens to all of us. This does not necessary mean it will happen through family members, but you may hear about it through friends. The next six months will be about rebirth, evolution, and metamorphosis

Aquarius: Enjoy life while you can and prepare as during this summer you will be going through your own transformation. However, by association this is also your transformation as an air sign. The total solar eclipse (read about it here) blessed you with financial success, assisted you in moving past family negativity and helped you heal. This eclipse you will be questioning your spirituality, friends, and profession. For six months search for a profession that makes you happy. Change your career and make very wise decisions as change is coming for you in the fall which will question every aspect of your decisions.

Taurus: You may be one of the most natural worry warts. Of course, you may feel this is the most difficult year you have had in a long time. Maybe it is, however, it’s only because Mercury retrograde is highlighting earth signs this year. It already knocked Capricorn Dec – Feb (read about it here) and soon it’s coming to get you April – June. Then again, Jupiter retrograde is not helping either but by May 09 (the day after Mother’s Day) it will be back to normal (read about it here). The problem is not about retrogrades, it is about letting go. Through the total solar eclipse (read about it here) you may have been blessed with unexpected money and those blessings would have come while working in large corporations. It was also about searching for the spiritual place. However, this eclipse is about reconsidering people in your life that you have to let go of. The next six months is about letting go, forgiving, and moving on.

Leo: Let me tickle you a bit. According to Vedic Philosophies, Jupiter is blessing you. Did you recently get involved in a wonderful affair, new job, have a baby, or move? Maybe that was Jupiter. Maybe it was luck. Either way, it’s time to get back to reality. You are being questioned, by association of Saturn in Sagittarius (read about it here), who is your family and what do you love about them? The Total Solar Eclipse (read about it here) blessing was yours to explore the philosophical arena, find your calling, and get your financial structure in order. This eclipse you will be a smooth operator the next six months focusing on relationships with your relatives, but you may have trouble with computer electronics. Vibrant, succinct, structured, and implicit communication will be the key to success.

Since the moon in Libra represents Gregarious, Beautiful, and Tranquil, Unbiased, and enthusiastic, it is my suggestion for us to stay unwavering. This full moon is astonishing to many signs. It is my suggestion that a yellow candle with your name carved in it will bring the positive energy that will emphasize this full moon. Anoint the candle with lavender oil or peppermint oil and chant Psalm 26. You may also choose to recite a mantra every morning until the next eclipse in September.

Remember that with all uses of psalms and mantras, achieving the chosen outcome is conditional on upon the prominence of its purpose. When it comes to finding nurturing relationships, it is of the greatest importance to begin with a pure understanding of what your goal should be. The mantras can be hard to pronounce for many but are a powerful source of energy.

The lunar eclipse often represents endings of some sort. These endings can be quite crucial and may be very difficult to let go. The mantra for the lunar eclipse is:

The aim of this mantra is to smooth your path in life by helping you understand the lessons you have set for yourself. Through karma, the negativity will be surpassed with every moon cycle. Remember to cross out the old affirmation, even if there is the slightest change, and create a new one. The perfect number for aspiration is 10. This means to list 10 aspirations and recite them every night until the next moon cycle. Remember, never make the affirmations beginning with “I balance”, it must be worded “I need balance in my life with friendship and love.”

The turn of events in every aspect of our world gives us no choice but to make changes in our lives. Those choices are either forced upon us or burdened so that we have no option but to transform.

Not only is the eclipse transformational but it is as spiritual as one can comprehend. This is the 2nd eclipse of the series of eclipses in Pisces that began in March of 2015 (Read about it here). This absolutely does not mean that only Pisceans’ are affected by this eclipse; rather, each and every one of us will be affected.

In ancient Vedic philosophies it states there is a piece of God/Universe in all of us; we are part water and creatures of confusion with great strength. Therefore, it is concluded that there is Pisces in the chart of every human being. To prove their point, ancient Vedic philosophers sanctioned all people to prove them incorrect and anyone that could would sit on the thorn of power. That challenge is still offered yet no one has stepped up. This is because no matter which astrological traditions are practiced, whether it is Natal, Sidereal, Sinhalese, or Tropical, nothing departs from the philosophy that “God is within in all, therefore we are as one.”

The most magnificent will be the questioning in the cosmos by our very first Super New Moon. Supermoons are known to appear bigger and brighter than all other moons. It also means that at these times the moon is closest to the Earth. As far as the new moon, we may see it but the eclipse will surely be eventful for those living near the Pacific Ocean and partially for people in South and East Asia, including parts of Australia.

The total solar eclipse only occurs during a new moon. As the planets shift through the orbit the moon happens to get between the sun and the earth which casts a shadow on Earth’s surface. The shadow creates a total, or a partial, eclipse. As you may recall, the last total eclipse was on March 20, 2015 which was also the new moon in Pisces (Read more about it here).

The eclipse will begin its motion on March 08, 2016 at 6:19pm EST and the moon will slowly move between the earth and the sun around 7:15pm EST. The moon will be formed perfectly void exactly at 8:55 and will pass between the sun and the earth, forming an exact total solar eclipse, at 8:59pm. This event will take about 1 hour and 38 minutes to complete the eclipse, then entering partial eclipse mode at 11:34pm on March 8, 2016. Even though it seems that it is a long event the actual total eclipse will only last for 10-15 minutes.

As beautiful as it may seem, the New moon and causation of the energy of the eclipse in Pisces is more detrimental than the cosmos. The new moon will void our skies at 8:55pm EST, 7:55pm CST and 5:55pm PST at 18-19 degrees Pisces (depending upon the orb); can I say rewind, re-run? We had a Solar Eclipse at the same exact degree on the same exact day: March 08, 1997. However, while moon has not been at this exact degree since 1997, the closest it has been was in 2008 and it won’t be this exact degree again until 2035. Thus, not only will this be serendipitous for many of us, it is spiritually connected.

As I began to write this blog, I had just completed writing the blog about the full moon in Virgo. Many people do not understand how the full moon and new moon affects individuals and how planetary inferences affect people’s world view and actions. Often they dismiss these ideologies and then wonder why there is so much chaos and confusion while looking for rationalization in their everyday life. Yet there seem to be no answer. Finally, when someone explains it in terms that they can understand, the Ah-Ha moment comes to them.

When the cosmos shuts out the light, like it will during the eclipse, this can impact the world view and focus of humanity; instead of looking at what is in front of us and things that are available to us, we look at what we cannot have. Solar eclipses end key periods in our lives to begin a new cycle. In this case, as I stated, this cycle began in 1997 & 2008. Therefore something which began in 1997 (if some of you were around) is finally ending and a part of something that began in 2008 is also ending. Its best to look deeply into what was really going during the spring equinox of both years and look at the circumstance now; if it is not complete it is time to let go.

Depending upon which philosophy one follows, eclipses have always had a bad omen associated with them by definition. To some it puts things out of order which causes fear and chaos. Some fear that because it becomes dark, evil will dominate the earth. This all stems from the Greek definition of the word “abandonment”, to leave, or detach. In literal terms we are doing the same, detaching the old and making room for the new. We are evolving and as we continue to do so we must look at each element in our life through different levels as we mature, and bring new concepts into our life while looking at each particle through spiritual glasses. How else are we going to be accepting of spiritual power if we are not mature enough to understand and accept it? Thus, we must let go and make room for new.

Whether it is a full moon or a new moon, whenever there is a Pisces moon there are Neptune qualities which embark several properties. Pisces has extraordinary restorative properties; however, as a water sign, Neptune has the usual propensity to bring desolate gusts and water. We have a new moon in Pisces every year and every year we have had natural disasters involving water, gusts, snow, and things revolving or surrounding water. Usually, the events occur without warning, and for others there are no meditative factors to stop them.

This eclipse is the proclamation of the events of 1997 and 2008. We are also now aware that the energy of the eclipse can be felt as early as 5 days before a major eclipse. The propensity for natural disaster damage of Neptune caused major flooding in the Ohio River which was declared a major disaster on March 04, 1997, Cyclone Justine in March 1997 cleaned house in New Guinea, and Cyclone Hina in Tonga. Let’s fast forward to March 2008; Neptune was at it again when major floods hit parts of Texas all the way to Pennsylvania killing 14 people and thousands of people had to evacuate. The Bihar Floods of India in 2007 -2008 destroyed many, including entire animal herds and farmlands worth millions to farmers. But there is an old saying – whatever Neptune destroys was confusing and not secure, thus not passing his test. In our own lives, similar to those things from 1997 and 2008, if things do not pass the test, they will be gone.

Solar Eclipse dynamism is marginal, gentle, protecting, and energetic – ricocheted and transported from within our life power. This eclipse is particularly detached and purpose oriented and our ideologies and persistence can be improved and reinforced. We initiate deep reflection of our influences in the world and the complete manifestation of our humanity.

It is now time to eliminate all sluggishness or choices that you may have put off. It is time to act and change your life. Without modifications in the areas of immobility and delay, there will be karmic lessons to pay after 6 months. The information that will be received from the cosmos and our own psyche will certainly revolutionize what you thought something or someone was. Actions are based upon the disclosures that are exposed within a few weeks after the eclipse and transiting for 6 months. Therefore, the moon in Pisces plays a significant role for revelation and spiritual awakenings.

This eclipse is so influential that it is prudent to treat it as if it was a total full moon. Therefore, do not make any choices regarding relationships, careers, legal issues, or moving. Any decisions that are made 7 days before and 7 days after the eclipse may either not turn out in your favor or show that what you saw, and you think you need to see ,will be two totally different things. Neptune (Pisces) will cause mis-perception creating the need for reconsideration in every decision.

This new moon will provide adequate energy to exact self-destructive thinking and actions. The moons vigor will permit the awareness to use our secretive power to join to our main psyche (God) helping us to manifest our visions. However, Saturn (planet of lessons and Karma) entered Sagittarius on December 23, 2014 and has continued its journey transforming Sagittarius, people with Sagittarius in their chart, as well as mutable signs (Read about it here).

As of March 21, 2016 Saturn is retrograding in Sagittarius. Retrogrades are often characterized through evaluating things from the past, how they were controlled, and what could have been done to create better outcomes. While Saturn retrogrades, messages, ego centrism, as well as clashes, are possible if we are not patient. While in direct motion (read about it here) it reforms, produces, rewards for hard work, and brings lessons and challenges. As if we have not had enough retrogrades this year, poor earth signs and Virgo’s continue to experience them. This is especially true for Virgos; we know how much you like your sweets and the universe had given you the pleasure of lady luck right by your side. A gift of Jupiter last August (read more about it here), many Earth signs including Mutable signs and all those who had Earth signs in their charts, were happy and content with their financial security, prospective careers, or job hunting, and things did not look bleak. Then the cosmos asked, and continues to ask, a question from January 07 until the middle of May 2016. Whatever the question, it has a four prong theory: self-discipline, karmic test, smugness, and lastly, spiritual growth.

There is an old saying; “nothing in this world is free” frankly, this is true. But to have such a gift one has to earn every bit of Jupiter, a planet of expansion and fulfillment. Self-discipline is exactly how it sounds; when things don’t go your way, do you have a tendency to over react, worry, blow things out of context, etc.? If you do, you must break this habit as patience, self-discipline, and faith will work for you. The second prong deals with the Karmic Test which is that you must, no matter what you have or don’t have, always be content and good to people as happiness comes to those with good spirits. This means to accept everyone, no matter their status in life. Self-righteousness/smugness focuses primarily on ignorance, greed, selfishness, and wastefulness; always be humble and kind. Lastly, spiritual growth says that this is time for being involved in spirituality. If you don’t have a faith or religion get involved in mundane philosophies as yoga, meditation, self-help, or anything that brings peace and happiness to the soul. With Mercury having just moved out of retrograde, Jupiter and Saturn still remain in retrograde. Essentially, every person will be pretentious in one way or the other as a result. Whether this is through Jupiter, Saturn, or this moon, circumstances and world understandings will certainly be implementers of rebellion, either physically or psychologically. The change will open many doors to medicine (perhaps cures) and spirituality. The greater importance will be where Pisces is obvious in one’s chart. It is extremely important to comprehend the Pisces sensitive impact and how prone we are to be psychic sponges.

The New moon is an indication a time to clear things through reflection and unrestricted love. To be able to differentiate that people are doing what they can with what they have. It’s a respectable time to absolve those whom have hurt you. It is time to let go of principles, even if it means to cry, and let it all go so you can trigger a relaxing process. It’s a time for fate, the eye of infinity. Fastening the love you have for someone and being the psychic sponge for those that value healing energies. Pisces moon highlights a time of immobility, prayers, and the sowing of seeds for springtime. It is a time of earth regeneration when the first traces of spring are so enticingly close. It’s also a moon of Shiva who removes our inefficiencies in order to bring spiritual development and perfection. Shiva is the graceful lamination that carries us to an upper plane in our lives; to give us passageway to hold our life with humbleness and kindheartedness so that we walk in his light.

I will begin with the prophetic symbols impacted by the eclipse more intensely than others. These people could become extremely irritable or extremely kind depending upon how they are able to handle the energy. Again, it is advisable to understand that to get a complete picture of how the next 6 months will be determined, you will need to combine the solar and lunar eclipse tendencies.

Mutable signs are continually metamorphosing with Mercury retrograding 3 to 4 times a year and slowing things down for them. Learning difficult lessons through Saturn crossing through Sagittarius and the retrograde energy of Virgo.

Pisces (Meena): All Pisceans, including those that have minor Pisces in their chart, will be affected by this eclipse. The intensity of this eclipse will be experienced by those people who have the sun and the moon in Pisces and minor and major planets in Pisces, especially those that are born March 03-13. Pisceans will now be able to find some of the most gratifying changes in their own personalities, especially those that are in industries which use vision. They will now be able to express themselves better and in the way they should. The key points are integrity, pride, existence, and experience. Things that no longer benefit them will now exit. The problem with this is Pisceans have a difficult time letting go. The things that have to be let go are things that have made them defensive, angry, and very touchy about discarding.

Gemini (Mithuna): There could be major changes in occupations and projects with possible promotional endeavors. They may have the complete focus they need to be recognized for their work; if they are writers they will shine, if they planners for large groups of people they will be recognized beyond their dreams. You may not be as affected by this eclipse as you will the next eclipse in Libra, by association, so get prepared for your own transformation.

Virgo (Kanya): Though this may not be more about you, you could inherit more than you could have desired. Your life partner or your mate is about to be delighted, and with this you will receive maximum joy and moral support like you have never received before. If you are not married, or with someone, it’s an ideal time to open the doors to new possibilities and start the show. Don’t worry Virgo, lady luck is only gone until May. Make sure your decisions are spiritual and humble in every way.

Sagittarius (Dhanu): It’s spring time! It’s time to fix your home and bring the beauty back. If you are looking for a house, this is the time go for it. If you are looking for a car, it is best to do it 2 to 3 weeks before retrograde, or before the next eclipse in the fall. Then again, Saturn is retrograde so it’s best you do it now before you get bopped by lessons learned in the fall. (Read about it here)

The next eclipse will be a lunar eclipse in Libra, similar to the alignment we had in March/April of 2015 last year (read about it here). Therefore, another alteration for Cardinal Signs (Cancer, Libra, Aries and Capricorn) is equally important. But remember Libra, this is it for you. If you have not learned it by now you may pay the price in 7 years when the universe asks you what alterations have you made? Have you taken risks for the price of pleasure?

Libra (Tula): The eclipses you may have ridden through (April 2014 – read about it here), or (April 2015- read about it here), should have taught you needed lessons. If you haven’t learned them you will be stuck with what you have. Staying busy and entertaining will be great; however, taking good care of your health and debt must be your number one priority right now. This is the time to get your health regimen in gear. Most of all, because Libras are naturally charismatic, there is a high chance of envy among friends.

Capricorn (Makra): This is the best time to travel. Open up lines of communication because important good news is on its way. You are also looking and thinking from a whole new prospective, but this time with effectiveness and improvement. Please remember Capricorn, by association you will be affected by Jupiter retrograde until May 2016 (read about it here).

Aries (Mesha): If you just came back from a long journey and you want to go back, then you may do so. But you must, be very careful as you may have some unplanned expenses if you have not saved. You also must watch out for health issues as you may not have paid attention and now they may get worse. Remember Aries, you still have a lot of cleaning up to do, and you too, by association, will have many changes to make due to Saturn in Sagittarius (read about it here)

Cancer (Karka): Protect your character at all cost; it seems that people want stomp on it a little bit. If you want to go on a long distance trip this is the best opportunity for you. If you are looking for news from a distance, it is on its way. It is time to learn spiritual activities such as yoga or meditation, and it won’t hurt if you go back to college and heighten your skills.

Fixed signs (Aquarius, Taurus, Leo, & Scorpio): Some of you have been beaten, stepped on, or ran through the garbage disposal, and came out on the other side (Saturn in Scorpio). Others went through one year of intense introspective time when Mercury was in air signs, beginning with Mercury in Aquarius . But lucky for you Leo, you were in the grand time of your life when you have lovely Jupiter in your sign for almost 2 years, until August of 2015 . Now it is time to rest. Many of you may only feel restless energy, while others become emotional sponges for people in their lives.

Aquarius (Kumbha): Finally, your time has come. The eclipse is on your side and it comes with success in your finances. Many Aquarians will now have the focus they need to plan their financial endeavors more successfully. The garbage of family negativity is now in the past and the universe is now giving the healing energy necessary to move past difficulties.

Taurus (Vrishabha): On one hand things may be coming in a trickle where Jupiter Retrograde (read about it here) may teach you important lessons to be humble. On the other hand, I am sure you remember that you had some unexpected money that may have come to you last year and this year I would not be surprised if it happens again. Another positive thing is that your circle of friends is about to expand too. For those working in larger corporations, this is going to be a blissful expansion in your professional life.

Leo (Simha): You have had almost 2 years of bliss. Some of you may have gotten married, had children, new jobs, or had a baby; something positive must have happened. If not, you did not take the opportunity of Jupiter . Now, by association, Saturn is bringing difficult lessons (read about it here). But no need to worry too much as this is the time to dive deeper in areas of the philosophical world to find your calling, and in the financial world to get yours in order.

Scorpio (Vrischka): You have been run over by the Saturn truck for two years (read about it here) and now it is time for you to rest. But, you know you. You seem to have the knack of being an emotional sponge to people. So why not get away from it all and go back to school? If you decide that education is your path, this is the best time for it. Brush up your skills because you will benefit. Or, if you want to have children, it might happen; be careful though, if you are not planning them an oops moment could also happen. Then again, if you already have children they will surely bring news that will bring music to your ears and cause your heart to pitter patter.

The mantra for Pisces moon is:

(Om Nah-Mah Shee-Vah Yah)

This Siddha mantra uses the universal origins that rule each charka: Earth, Water, Fire, and Air. This is also a time of Mahashivratri for most Hindus and thus an auspicious time for regeneration and reawakening for many.

On Christmas Eve Day I decided to write my predictions for 2016. I could not help but to ponder the sadness of 2015. The great legions that passed away that that made differences in the lives of so many. From the co-founder of North Face (Douglas Tompkins) who kept us warm in the cold weather, to the designer of the Bat-mobile which everyone wanted (George Barris). Not to mention Former Senator Fred Thompson, perhaps better known as the District Attorney in Law and Order. We also saw the passing of Jackie Collins who kept most women’s romance alive in their hearts through her wonderful novels, Bobbie Kristina Brown – the only legacy of Whitney Houston who could have shimmered the world, Omar Sharif a heartthrob of the 60’s, Nicholas Winton who saved 650 Jewish children during the holocaust, and Dick Van Patten who played the father in the show 8 is enough.

Some of the most heartfelt deaths of this past year included B.B King (musician), Percy Slege (Musician), adored Leonard Nimoy (aka Mr. Spock in Star Trek), Zsa Zsa Gabor(actress), then there were those that the heavens set the stage. From Afghanistan, Africa, France, India, Australia, U.K, Japan and much more. Some of these deaths could have been prevented while others were caused by natural disasters. But whatever the case, and no matter what the circumstances, we cried many tears, we mourned, we feared, but most of all, we live daily to protect our family, friends, and country.

We will soon begin 2016 with many uncertainties, including where the future of one of the most powerful nations falls as it is placed into the hands of its political process. Thus we have plenty to think about and Mercury retrograde from 2015 going into 2016 will make sure that we think about how our communication and telecommunication is reliant upon the messages being delivered. At the same time Jupiter will also retrograde in Virgo.

Last fall Jupiter entered Virgo which brought or rather, is still bringing, opportunities to Virgos; but Virgo should not have wasted time. They should have been on the move: investing, looking, planning, organizing, networking, but most of all building as time is of an essence (read about it here). However, January 5, 2016, this magnificent planet of luck and fortune will be moving retrograde. There is an old saying, everything should be in moderation otherwise we may become ill. Meaning that if you love sugar and eat too much of it then there is a probability that you may become a diabetic and you may never have candy again. Therefore, when Jupiter begins to go retrograde in Virgo, all earth signs (Capricorn, Taurus and Virgo) will be going through introspection in regards to understanding how to improve themselves so that they are able to handle more critical issues in their lives when Jupiter goes direct. The worst thing one can do around this time is to get scared because life slows down as you know it. Therefore, Capricorn and Virgo will have a double slow down whammy in January and February of 2016. However, it may last a little longer for Virgos as Jupiter stays retrograde until May 2016.

On January 03, 2016 Mars will enter Scorpio which could be good or bad as it means that everything in life as we see it may be all black or white with nothing in between. But it is about challenges, making profound changes, keeping things a secret, and testing our limits. Within two weeks or so Venus will enter Capricorn, and therefore, while their luck of Career and life as they knew it slows down, perhaps their luck in love and all things such as art and beauty will be at their best. Thus Capricorn may still be a little dissimulated and Scorpios may go through some through some transformations.

As Valentine’s Day gets a little closer and Mercury retrograde starts to move direct, we will feel some relief. However, Venus also moves from worrisome Capricorn and into friendly Aquarius. The residue of Mercury still remains however, so watch out for old lovers returning. I wish I could say that instantly the phase will be over but the light at the end of the tunnel will not be bright until the end of February when we finally get some relief, not for long though. Brace yourself! And hold on tight as the spring brings us some bumps and bruises along the way, as it did spring of 2015.

As tough as it was for us in 2015, the eclipses were not as bad as they will be in 2016. In 2015 we had 4 eclipse, in 2016 we will have 5. A solar and lunar eclipse in the spring of 2016 and Lunar-Solar-Lunar eclipses in the fall of 2016. In spring 2015, our first solar eclipse magnified openings with the Pisces/Aries eclipse on March 20 (Read about it here), followed by the Libra/Aries eclipse on April 4 (read about it here).

No, I have not forgotten, as always it appears that super moons seem to follow the eclipse, or vice versa; we will have six super moons in 2016, just like 2015. Instead of all of the new moons being in the beginning of the year, they will be during the eclipses or little after.

Our first new super moon will cover the entire sun disk and form a total solar eclipse. This eclipse will focus on early born Pisces’ who will now open their eyes with the first total solar eclipse on March 08, 2016, and Libras who will now end their last eclipse for a while with the Libra/Aries eclipse on March 23, 2016. Fortunately for Libras, they will not be affected by eclipses now for quite some time, but that will not stop them from being affected by other aspects. These eclipses will magnify changes for both Pisces and Libra’s for 6 months, setting the stage for their own transformation and I would not be surprised if all those that have planets in in mutable or cardinal signs are affected by these eclipses. Even though the eclipses are transforming Pisces, Venus will grace them by entering their sign, at least until April 05, 2015, while Mars likes things to be fair in Sagittarius and wants the truth. Additionally, by now Saturn is going retrograde and perhaps Sagittarius’ can at least breathe for a little while, at least until August when Saturn goes direct again.

Finally, the merry-go-round begins to slow down and we are able to get off. However, while we are huffing and puffing while holding on to the railing, the universe looks down and says, “oh you need some rest? No problem! I will give you rest.” He puts his whistle in his mouth and blows and says, loudly ‘HEY! MERCURY! THESE HUMANS ARE TIRED!” Mercury smiles, and rubs his hands and says, “oh goody!” Even if our life is about to slow down this does not mean the cosmos slows down. Our second super new moon will be on April 07. One week later, on April 12-14, Mercury retrograde will take the second earth sign hostage. First, he took Capricorn, next is Taurus which means that not only are Taurus’ going to be affected, but all earth signs. I know Capricorn, its hell, I know. Oh, Virgo too. And let’s not forget Gemini, Pisces, and Sagittarius. Oh, why not by default, all those associated too. While our spring quickly begins to move to summer our heads are now between our legs and we are in a fetal position.As earth signs bask in the heat in May, the third super new moon will enter our atmosphere on May 06, 2016. Additionally, a few days later, the splendor of Jupiter moves direct in Virgo at the beginning of May once again. But, by association all earth signs will shine bright with kisses and splendor in the glory of prosperity and abundance until September 2016. By the time Mercury retrograde moves into the ghost period. Gemini’s will be whistling as Venus moves into their signs and summer love will bring their love life a little sparkle. However, when Mars had gone retrograde in Scorpio in April, Scorpios and its opposite Aries, people became, and will continue to become very irritable. This anger may disturb the harmony for many people, and possibly even what they do for a living. While Earth signs are confused, Air signs may love the summer romance, while Water and Fire signs may be creating some steam. I call this period simply, a mixed bag of tricks. May will, however, also bring our last Blue moon until 2019; be on the lookout as it is going to be marvelous.

Finally, in June and July the universe will give us the break we all need. In June, Venus will enter Cancer and it’s time for Cancerians to spread the love and turn the torch over to his brother Leo. Family and love is always where Leo’s enjoy love to be. Now everyone can finally enjoy their summer until we are glued to our television, or taking a nice vacation to Rio, for the summer Olympics. Or are we preparing for the next eclipse, or the next full moon? No matter what it is, take your favorite Ice tea, put a lounge chair in the water, put on your John Belushi glasses and float. This is exactly what Pisces, and those with Pisces in their charts, will do starting in June when Neptune goes retrograde again. Ok, you may even feel a bit tipsy.

As the summer gets hotter Mars will enter Sagittarius in early August which will affect all fire signs. Sagittarius’ love to have fun but this time they will get what they want, and if they don’t they won’t hang round for long. Just a few days after Mars enters Sagittarius, Venus enters Virgo (August 04, 2016) where Virgos are sexy, shining, and making everything so sweet. With Jupiter and Venus in Virgo I wonder how many followers beautiful Virgos will have; they will shine bright and have what they need. But if you asked me I think the Olympic committee should have called me before they set the date for the Olympics in Rio. As we are glued to the television on August 5, 2015, the Mercury retrograde ghost period will begin to start making things quite difficult for earth signs, but this time he is holding Virgos hostage. Hence, Virgos will not mind, they will shine quite pretty. As for the rest of us, well, all other earth signs and mutable signs may have a slightly tough time, especially Sagittarius. Saturn, a planet of difficult lessons, finally moves direct in the second week so tough lessons are already on their way for Sagittarius.

Moving into mid-August, transformation for Aquarius people now begins with their first partial lunar eclipse. These are questions that arose from the eclipse of August 7, 1998 combined with those from the eclipse on August 5, 2009. All those with Aquarius and Air signs in their charts, and fixed signs, will be affected by this eclipse and all unfinished business must be taken care of now. But hold on tight, really tight, we are not finished yet! As we end August, Mercury is still retrograding. The summer Olympics are now over, we just passed an Aquarius Eclipse on August 18, 2016, and we are now ready to hide under the blanket. It’s like the Eagles song Hotel California, “you can check out any time you like but you can never leave.”

There is a whole lot of shaken’ going on beginning on September 1, 2016; this is the second Virgo/Pisces eclipse, the first being in 2015. You are now being questioned about things from 2006. Yes Virgo, you will be affect by one more eclipse two weeks later, then you are done for 5 to 6 years. Yes, Venus has left your sign by September and you have now given the torch to Libra where it is at home. You will also hand over the torch of Jupiter to Libra as it’s their turn to hold on to it for a little while because too much of a good thing is never good. I hope you used your time well as Jupiter will not be back in your sign until 2025 in the western astrology but guess what… in the eastern astrology it’s about to enter your Jupiter in September so maybe, just maybe, you hit the lotto with a double whammy? Maybe.

If you sit for too long to have a drink of water that is way too long on September 16, 2015. We will have another eclipse, yes you got it, and that makes 5 eclipse in 2016. This one is in Pisces therefore it will be considered Pisces/Virgo eclipse. Yes, I promised you Virgo, it is the last eclipse and it is. Pisces however, you do have one more in 2017 and you are done as well. This is also asking about your 2006 lessons. A few days later Venus will enter Scorpio and some things will be hidden. Mars will also enter Capricorn and here we go again – worries galore. But at least for Capricorn, things will look much clearer when planet rebirth goes direct.

I am looking at, and writing all of this, and I am thinking we need a break in October. Do you feel it coming? By now we are in our ghost period of Mercury retrograde. There needs to be some deep concentration on the Presidency of United States and the people cannot do this when “stop-go” continues to happen. So now the slowdowns are gone for the year. I think. The eclipses are finished. Jupiter is in Libra and Saturn is still in Sagittarius until next year. Uranus will retro and direct in Aries for a while. Neptune will be in Pisces for a while, Pluto will remain in Capricorn for a while, and Chiron in Pisces. So what’s left?

Ahhh… Super moon! The first super moon will be on October 16, 2016, which will also be a full moon in Aries. As I always say, if you find full moons are bad, a super moon is worse. But something very phenomenal is also occurring just 5 days before the presidential election, which is the black moon on October 30, 2017. The black moon is also a new moon in Scorpio; it a sign of death, rebirth, and secrets; hmm… sounds very mysterious. No, I am not going to predict who will President.

By the beginning of November we now have a new ruler of the most powerful nation in the world. Mars is in friendly Aquarius yet perhaps friends may be a little demanding of us. Venus, meanwhile, is in worried Capricorn. Finally, our second and the brightest super moon occurs on November 14, 2016; which so happens to be in Taurus. Tsk tsk, a bit stubborn; and to think, in 10 more days we will have Thanksgiving. Are we going to feel as though we wonder where the year went, or are we going to remember the year as thank God it is over? Except for the uncertainty of the nation, November is not so bad. And I promise, the year ends just like it began.

December 1, 2016, Mercury will enter the ghost period with Mercury in Sagittarius causing intensity around Christmas (something look familiar?). Our third and final super moon occurs on December 14, 2016 (Full moon in Gemini). Ending the year with Venus in Fun Aquarius, Mars in Pisces, Jupiter in Libra, we can now exhale. Virgo’s no more eclipse as promised.

So what will we learn in 2016? We will learn more about money; how we spend and how we should spend. We will learn about value of relationships. We will learn about family. Most of all, we encounter important lessons of work in progress as 2017 through 2018 is a transformative period of spiritual transitions for many.

There are so many analogies about the eclipses that between the meanings, and the energy, almost everything is lost. Depending upon which area of the world you were raised, eclipses can be ominous or they can be good. In my personal belief, eclipses are about history and change.

Just like every planet in the universe, such as Saturn, Mars, Venus etc., an eclipse impacts all astrological signs approximately every 18 to 25 years (depending upon other transits). History always repeats itself, though circumstances, players and environments can change yet history paves the way to our future. This is so that we can make decisions that are more concrete and sustainable as we grow to experience similar situations. For example, almost every one of us has come to a place we have never been before however it seems so familiar. Some call it Dejavu, I call it premonition.

Many times I pondered why the eclipses are so sacred and why they are needed. I can only think of one thing that my philosophy teacher said about the eclipses when she related to Socrates and Plato. She said, “Through the discoveries of philosophies, it has been theorized that humans thrive for change. From new homes to new things, art, music, or even wives. But, humans cannot handle when changes happen too quickly, especially if it affects their home, well being, or even their families. However, they love to watch the drama if it does not involve them. Eclipses are often related to the call of Gods, and these Gods question human decisions, and actions, if they serve the best interest of all. Therefore every human is tested and affected by this energy”- Professor Bancotti. No matter which religion is followed, all of the myths and superstitions of the eclipses are seen in many countries.

In India, “At the time of a solar or lunar eclipse, instantly stop all activities and chant the name of God in a purified state. After the eclipse, householders should bathe with the clothes they are wearing and then make donations according to their means.” (Shik 86/87) BAPS Swaminarayan Sanstha. Additionally, all people are advised not to eat 12 hours before the solar eclipse (water allowed) and they are not allowed to touch food or any clothing during the eclipse. It is said that anything touched during the eclipse brings bad omens and should be discarded immediately.

Nevertheless, whatever superstition or myths you want to believe or practice, it is solely based upon your own cultural upbringing. But we can say it is related to history and the impact of the past as it relates to human experience. Like every eclipse, it’s about consideration and events of the past and how we handled them. Though this eclipse may not be as intense as the lunar eclipse of September 28, 2015, it will be strong enough to make changes in lives of many.

This is a series of eclipses which will uniform, transform, and create a new Virgo. This eclipse will question the events of September 22, 1987, September 1, 1997 and September 22, 2006. You will see something very similar in 2016, as the next eclipse for Virgo will be on September 1, 2016. As noted, history repeats.

An eclipse of this nature can reveal situations and changes at work, in diet and health and our level of service we provide others in many different ways.Many will likely be focused on work rather than pleasure, and this is a perfect time for organizing the important matters of our life and utilizing our talents in the area of re-organizing our houses, thoughts and plans.”-Leslie Hale

The Partial Solar Eclipse occurs when all three major planets (Sun, Moon and Earth) do not form a straight line as it would in a total solar eclipse. The Partial Solar Eclipse will only cover the some of the sun. Additionally, this eclipse will not have the grandeur or visibility that many of the other eclipses show, such as the one at the end of this month. This is primarily because the eclipse begins so far below the equator and moving upwards that its prominence will be limited. The visibility also will be restricted to parts of the Indian and Atlantic Oceans as well as some parts of South Africa and Antarctica. Furthermore, the partial solar eclipse will be followed by a void in the moon at approximately 20 degrees in Virgo depending upon the orb, forming a new moon.

On September 13, 2015 at approximately, 12:40am EST, 9:40 PST, the eclipse will begin its motion. The sun will begin to move in a perpendicular line with the moon at a very slow rate. At 2:41 am EST, 11:41pm PST, the moon will become voided by the shadow of the sun, thus the maximum eclipse will be at 2:52am covering most of the moon. However, this is why it is called a partial eclipse, as the reflection of the two planets (moon and the sun) will make it appear as such. There will be a crescent sun in the sky. The eclipse will not last long and as the time the moon and the sun move apart the eclipse will be over by 5:05 am.

The new moon and partial solar eclipse come at a time when everyone’s thinking is already introspective, with justice, fairness, and relationships being pondered. Additionally, Mercury retrograde is about to move into its most intense period of time (read about it here). Since Mercury rules Gemini and Virgo, they will feel the impact of the retrograde energy as much as those that are Libra, as well as those that have Libra in their astrological chart.

As much as the eclipse brings change, so does the new moon. Nonetheless, many people want to understand the energy of the eclipses and the moon to a time which they may experience. As far as the eclipses, September 11, 2007, was the closest experience to this eclipse; where new order, laws, and new direction impacted society. On the same day in 2007, Indonesia set the precedent that giving money to beggars and smoking in public will be prohibited. Focusing on human health and compassion, this is also a Virgo trait. Additionally in 2007, it was the remembrance of the 911 attacks where deaths, heroes, and losses made headlines once again. This is a very soft spot for Virgos as they become em paths to human existence.

Virgos nature is also in areas of music and arts, and their abilities to create new and inspiring ways to arouse artists is the key to their perfection. In 2007, Kanye West and 50 Cent were head to head however, #1 at the billboard was Kanye West with his single “Can’t tell me nothing.” Additionally, smart phone developer Apple sold their first millionth iPhone. Moving forwards 8 years, what does the energy of Virgo coming to bring to us? This we do not know, nevertheless, glory to Virgo!, With Jupiter in Virgo for almost 1.5 years (read about it here), Mars and Venus soon moving into Virgo, and this eclipse, the changes cannot be any better. However, Virgo’s are pessimistic, whenever good things happen, even if it is predicted they will look at the circumstances why something happened positively rather than looking at it as a cosmic glory. This, of course, can be scientifically be proven by their own experiences.

As I continue to be a believer in history repeating itself, I frequently advise my clients to keep a journal. Often journals can assist in recalling experiences and circumstances, including action and reaction of a certain period of time. This will allow to see that if universally, a similar situations occur again, one is already aware of its conclusion. This is also why flash back dates are always included in my blogs, so that the circumstances are easily captured. However, 20 degrees of a Virgo moon has not occurred in the 21st century. Similar energy can relate back to September 28, 2004 at 22 degrees in Virgo or the most recent would be September 11, 2007 (the eclipse of 2007).

Solar energy is peripheral, self-protective, defensive, and energetic – as well as mirrored and articulated from within our life force. This eclipse is particularly inspiring and resolution oriented – our values and resilience can be improved and strengthened. We begin to feel these alterations powerfully and believe our support in the world with the full expression of our humanity.

This 6-month period is a time to focus on work, health, apparatus, and repetitive daily habits. This particular Eclipse will affect those that have Virgo planets anywhere in the chart including the sun and the moon. Virgos are highly accentuated, and we need to guard against being overly critical, politically driven, and manifesting worry about our restrictions. Tiny specifics can over-run long-term goals. However, Virgos will not be the only ones affected by this eclipse as all mutable signs will feel the potency (Gemini, Pisces, Sagittarius and Virgo). The few days prior to the New Moon, known as the DARK MOON, vitalizes are at their bottom most ebb, in planning for the new phase to activate. Each New Moon implies the outlook to kick off a new cycle in your life. Depending on the essential quality of the sign in which the New Moon falls in a chart, energies on inconsistent levels are complex, be they sanctified, impartial, logical, or forthcoming. The modality of the sign governs whether the importance is on consecutive, control, or submission. The magnificent new moon also brings rebirth to later born Virgo’s. However, Mercury is retrograding and is changing signs in Libra. This means that everyone will be affected and since Mercury emphasizes mutable signs (Gemini, Virgo, Pisces and Sagittarius) the changes will come but not as quickly as you would like. This moon is predominantly zoned for the positive for mutable signs. Particularly for Virgo, Gemini, Sagittarius and Pisces or whomever are born on the 12th through 22nd of their month in Virgo, Gemini, Sagittarius, or Pisces.

The New Moon invokes energy of affirmation, and a time to express what our needs are according to the visions available (through Virgo this month)The moon in Virgo carries awareness about all the slight intricacies and how we can help and aid others. Enjoy healthy foods, pure accomplishments, and clean air. It’s time to stop holding on to dust even if it is sentimental so that there can be room for new things.

When Mars enters Virgo, not only will Virgos get affected but the planetary energy may affect almost everyone. Now, people will have the energy to be the best they can be in areas of work. Precision, productivity, and meticulousness is the name of the game for Virgos. Often Virgos feel if they want to get anything done correctly they have to do it themselves. Therefore, not only will there be critical elements towards people, but also themselves. Sometimes when Mars is in Virgo there are tendencies not to take risks and play it safe. But this is the reason why Virgos have missed out on so many opportunities.

As shrewd as Mars in Virgo can be with its energy and perfection, the energy when Venus is in Virgo will be so unique and dedicated that you feel as you found your perfect match. Virgo people are not natural romantics like Libra’s are, but they are the most dedicated, almost like a Scorpio when they made up their mind. Everything in Virgo’s life, and Venus in Virgo, has to do with practical, expressive, caring for people doing things for them. The more unconditional love you give to them, without changing them, the more they will love you in return. But make sure they know how appreciative you are to them. This eclipse, like any eclipse, is a relationship and work oriented eclipse. Even though eclipses are known to close doors, they are also known to bring wonders and delight. Every person will go through modification contingent upon the properties of their planets. I would greatly advise to make an appointment with my endorsed astrologer Leslie Hale to see how powerful it will be. As I am not an astrologer, and do not claim to be one, but rather Vedic reader. For some this period will not be as easy as it was before and for others it will be like a heavy monkey is lifted off their shoulders. In a matter of 4 to 5 days, Scorpios are completing one of the most difficult and intense times of their lives. Saturn, the planet of difficult lessons and wonderful surprises, is now leaving Scorpio. However, be aware that even though it has moved away in the Vedic philosophies, many will still feel the effects for another 4 years. It may not be as intense however because Vedic Philosophies believe that Saturn is such a strong planet that sometimes it takes years to get over the pain and begin to heal. Now Scorpios can sit back and relax and let nature heal them. The time is almost here, September 17, 2015, Saturn moves away from Scorpio(Read about it here) and moves into Sagittarius (read about it here). Dear Scorpio, this has been one of the most intense periods of your life.

The theory is that Saturn is a slow moving planet and it takes 29 to 30 years to make it to each planet. This means that Saturn, the God of difficult lessons is like a teacher. Every 29 to 30 years each astrological sign takes a test to see how many modifications, comprehensions, and applications were made since 29 to 30 years ago and how they are being applied. If the applications of the difficult lessons were learned then, the same parts will not be questioned again. For those who are over 29-30 years old, this is your Saturn return. The focal point of your lessons was around issues of Nov 1982 to May 1983, and from Aug 1983 to Nov 1985, in Vedic philosophies the dates are two years ahead and 3 years behind, calculating to approximately 1981 through 1988. I am sure Virgos remember 1976-1983, 2006-2013, those were pivotal time of your life, there would have been many changes for you; it could be such things as a career change, marriages, children, compensations, and much more. And when Virgos were finished they came out to the other side and learned to tolerate, adjust, and plant the seed of their tomorrows. This will be the same for Sagittarius, starting again on September 17, 2015. Though in the western philosophies the journey of Saturn in Sagittarius began in December 2014, the Vedic philosophies theorize that it began in 2013. Saturn could have possibly shown Sagittarius what is holding them back. Saturn could break up relationships, something or someone passed on, career change, financial change, marriages, or divorces. Every passage of 2015 was elaborated and summarized in my December 2014 blog, encouraging all of us to look at the big picture in 2015 and adapt to their own modifications.

The broad predispositions will drive its most important emphasis around mutable signs; consequently, the inclinations will highlight those astrological signs that will be impacted first. However, the best universal propensity is the association between Mercury retrograde tendency with the eclipse and possibly a bigger and more conclusive outcome which can be determined (read more about it here). Therefore, combining the tendencies from Mercury retrograde and the solar eclipse will give the best results from now until October 17, 2015.

Mutable signs, this eclipse will bring many changes to you, especially Virgo’s. Often times the energy can be magnified for those that have cohesion in the same prospective.

Virgo: Not only is this eclipse is going to make you wonder who you but also where it is that you are going. This is a series of eclipses that will completely transform you. Another eclipse is scheduled for September 1, 2016. Refer to the dates listed above and you will see how history always redefines you. The eclipse will trigger a deeper focus on how you see yourself and how it reflects on others. Deep analysis will be in areas of your health, energy, strength, and personality. It is about the self and how ones surroundings, and those that one is associated with, molds our outer and inner self. Virgo planets in specific houses will force more introspection as it is a time of analysis and change. But along with this beautiful eclipse, the planet Jupiter will shine (read more about Jupiter here). But don’t expect instant changes as Mercury may slow down answers (Read more here).

Sagittarius: You too are transforming as I elaborated earlier. This is the time to make changes so that you shine. These are your glory days, though it may not seem like it since so many things in your life are ending. Change is always difficult for you dear Saggy. But some of the changes you have been through have been marvelous and you can thank Saturn. The gifts and changes are just on par for what Saturn is bringing (read more about Saturn in Sagittarius here). This eclipse will be transforming your career, drives, long term and short term goals, your character in the world, as well as the community as whole. However, it would not surprise me if Sagittarius’s introspect on how they can contribute to their community or the world as whole. Additionally, the eclipse energy will focus on public gratitude; including, but not limited to, flashes of psychic power, thoughts, philosophies, lucidity, and intuition.

Pisces: This is also your year of transformation. The first tap of the transformation may have begun March 20, 2015 which triggered later born Pisces’ but affected almost all (read more about it here). The first lesson would be to look at your money as how you’re spending and receiving it may have changed. This eclipse will hit where your heart is in the house of marriages, relationships (all kinds business and romantic), dialog, promises, and perhaps you may also find out who is not really as fond of you as you thought. Pisces will now be questioning how they are reacting towards important people in their lives and perhaps for first time in a long time, Pisces will now take action to fulfill their needs and consider what others require. Surely, this eclipse will now bring into focus other people, places, and things in your life and our needs, along with those of others, may have slipped by the way side.

Gemini: At least you can say “been there, done that”. You may have ended your cycle of change in and around 2012. That was a rough ride, was it not? But enjoy this moment as the eclipses always come back around in the infinite number of 8, which means 2020 will be your turn again. Perhaps in the last 6 months to a year you may have had a job change where you left or the project ended, there also could have been a lot of introspection in areas romance and family. Now, it is about your family, old habits, finding boundaries, security, settling down, and the future. But be warned, you can introspect all you want but do not plant seeds or take action yet. This is because you and your friend Virgo will feel heavy burdens from now until October when Mercury retrograde loves to irritate you (read more about mercury retrograde here).

Since the next eclipse will be affecting cardinal signs, focusing on the tendencies of action and reactions for Cardinal signs may become justified, as they are all around us.

Cardinal Signs

Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn

Aries: It is almost over I promise you. You may have to picture yourself running to the finish line but your own fatigue and irritability may be stopping you. Since 2013, it has been so rough; some aspects were good some were extremely difficult. On one hand many Aries’ got married, while some split for good. Some had legal, career, and financial issues, but many Aries’ bounced back. Would it help if I tell you that this is it? There will not be any eclipses in Aries until after 2020. Now the time has come to introspect your work health, habits, co-workers, and painful occasions. It is time to look at your own thought processes in what is good and what is not. For the next 6 months you must really watch yourself. You may become ill, fatigued, may want to change a diet that may not be good for you, or you may get laid off or quit. It may be difficult to change jobs while feeling restricted. Remember my dear Aries you will be on fire in 2 weeks as the eclipse in your sign will bring closure to many aspects of your life. If you have been keeping a journal you might have realized what was questioned since 2013.

Cancer: The planets love to beat on Cancers. Because you are so sensitive and emphatic you always feel the pain and misery of your brothers and sisters in the Cardinal Signs. You have been run over by a bulldozer during the cardinal cross, and got a little shook up during the eclipse in April even though it was in Libra. But detach as much as you can because your turn is coming sooner rather than later. Breathe and relax as 2020 will bring for you another change which may pave the way to a new or bigger light. This eclipse will emphasize the way you talk, how much you have learned, how you digest information, how to get your messages across to people, and anything that has to do with communication if it be media or family. But the core is that your mind is restless and you may want to explore, research, or investigate how you can further your knowledge; you may even want to travel. And just maybe you might want to be a little closer to your brothers and sisters if you have any.

Libra: My sweet Libra. Life may have put you in a time of introspection, you may be questioning your past relationships and you too are going through some intense changes since April. Perhaps in April you may have been questioning who you are and now you may question where you need to be or what purpose you have in life. You now may be viewing your life and the secrets you may have hidden from people; you may want to be alone. Your losses, sorrows, and spirituality are in question now. For everything that you may have dreamt of, the hard work placed into these dreams, and the sacrifices made – was it worth it? You may feel confined and there is a bigger chance that you may get ill or you may feel people are abusing your compassion. Your reactions could create havoc. But do not look for answers quickly as Mercury is in your sign giving you all the necessary energy you might need to look deeper into the past and see what your dreams were, and are now (Read more about it here). However, your journey is not quite over, rather it began last year. I wish I could say it will end quickly but nothing in your life is quick because you want perfection. Just think of this way; by spring of 2016 you may feel much better than you do today.

Capricorn: There are so many signs that point to your worries; sometimes I can compare many qualities of Virgo with you. I understand you are a unique individual and even though you got beaten up a lot in 2010, you had the strength to stand right back up. Therefore relax a little bit as your journey will not begin until 2019 and until then you have plenty of homework to do. One of the most positive traits is that even though you are not a Virgo, you will be affected by the sweet Jupiter in Virgo (Read about it here) and perhaps you can smile just a little bit. Perhaps a little travel or learning something new or a change in perception or principles may cause you to introspect. Additionally, it can be that you want to publish something or you are looking for the truth, or even yourself, by putting your attention inward. Whatever it takes to make improvements in areas of body, mind, and soul you will wish to do. But foremost you may want to go far away seek out the seeds of the truth through philosophical ideas and because you may feel this is where it all began. And there is nothing wrong with that as long as you come back knowing the truth without turning your hair white.

Fixed Signs

Aquarius, Taurus, Leo and Scorpio

Aquarius: You were probably about the only one that may have had a long rest period, except for when Mercury retrograde came around. Since 2009, basically you have been at status quo. But then when eclipses hit your brothers and sisters, such as Scorpio in 2012 through 2014, perhaps there were many changes and Saturn in Scorpio did not help you (read about it here). Perhaps things on the work front were difficult and money was hard to come by or relationships were/ are unsatisfactory. But take it easy. The universe slowed you down in the earlier part of this year, through the first Mercury retrograde, wasn’t that fun? (Read more about it here). You might as well take the next six months off since your transformation is coming in 2016. What good is the summer if you can’t change? I am sure for many of you next year will be very interesting to see. Now, it’s time to sit back, introspect, and plant the seeds of transformation for those deep issues, especially when it comes to other people’s money. Also look at anyone that shares money with you, perhaps it may not be readily available. It does not really matter; one thing for sure is that you must get rid of the baggage you are carrying on your shoulders – time to go off on your own and create a business that reaches the sky.

Taurus: Yes for you too, things have been a little difficult due to Saturn in Scorpio (read about it here); perhaps you ended a relationship or someone, or something, left your life. It was meant to go but you still can’t let go. The universe has been giving you hints yet you still hang on. But now you may become very busy as Jupiter in Virgo will keep your business busy if you are in business for yourself (read about it here). Do you see that your transformation is over? The intense energy and the tough decisions you have had to make took all of the energy from you and April 2014 was the last eclipse in your sign until way beyond 2020. But remember dear Taurus, whatever happens to your other fixed signs you may be impacted by it depending upon the position of those planets in your astrological chart. Now the universe wants you to look at your life and think about how creative you can be, how well you communicate with your children and parents, how you express your love, and how badly you want to be in a relationship. In addition you may also be looking at how you have gambled and took risk while wanting to have fun -you may have taken unnecessary risks. Now you know where you stand. Your experiences and self-accountability will assist you into brining your own self growth and accountability, especially self-confidence but you have to build this yourself and you can’t find it in others as it has to come deep within you.

Leo: What a life of a Leo. With Jupiter just now leaving your sign after two years, life must have been grand for you. Perhaps you are engaged, or want to get married, or had a child or are pregnant. It can even be that you now got the recognition you had waited for. The last eclipse in Leo was in 2008; Leo’s are definitely blessed as their next eclipse of rebirth is not due until 2017. What a life. Yes, many Leos are riding high, perhaps too comfortable but Leos can be stubborn too. All that luck acquired by Leo’s during Jupiter, I hope you saved it. This eclipse will see every dime you have possibly go to pay bills. It’s almost as if you saw your check – now it is here, now it is gone. Leo’s are so charming that they can attract money from even a dead tree. Leo’s will introspect what other talents they have to bring money to them and how they will create their own security along with the support of others.

Scorpios: The question is how deep are you? The mysteries of the phoenix, between Saturn in Scorpio since 2012 (read about it here) and all those eclipses. I am just wondering how much you have risen. The problem still remains that Scorpios cannot let go of dead wood. Perhaps after Saturn really leaves Scorpio on September 17 and enters Sagittarius (read about it here), they may open the door to find something waiting for them. Trust me when I say relax. Breathe deeply. The only way you will be affected by all the garbage in the world is if you have specific astrological signs tapping a planet in your birth chart. There are no eclipses until way after 2020 for Scorpios. However, this eclipse may shake a few things up for you. Certainly when things start to become smoother we always look at our environment and see what has to leave and what has to stay. One thing for sure this eclipse will force Scorpios will be doing a lot of thinking about people they are associated with and humanity as a whole. Scorpios thoughts will be wandering through meditating on expectations, thoughts, aspirations and always expecting the most unexpected. Now comes a time where Scorpios will look at every dream and desire, finding out how they can make it all work. Who knows, perhaps there is a thought and vision of humanity and why differences have harmed society.

Virgo and Gemini’s are ruled by Mercury so it’s a good time to go back to school. Making your studies interesting is the name of the game here. Virgos love a challenge and challenging pursuits will do better than the daily routine. This is a good time for taking care of any matter that needs careful care. People may become nervous and retrieving with Moon passing through Virgo and will incline to be sharp, demanding and even overly precarious at times. Virgo rules the guts and power of absorption. Many people may feel the urge to clean up their home environment at this time as it is a good way to channel Virgo energy.

Since the moon in Virgo is truthful, thorough, hygienic, ornate, and helpful, it is my suggestion that you secure a Green candle (unscented candle in a jar) or a green pillar candle unscented or scented and carve your name through to the wick or tape your name at the bottom of the candle. Anoint the candle with Inspiration oil or Eucalyptus oil and chant the Psalm 5. You may also choose to recite a mantra every morning until the next eclipse cycle in Virgo.

Remember that with all prayers, mantras, meditation, kriya, as well as yoga, achieving the best results depends upon the desire of the function. Meaning, praying for what we want may not always reflect the results as the universe always wants the primary prayer to be focused around needs. Often needs and wants are defined equally as in Vedic they are not equal.

For example, peace is a need and money is a means but it is a desire and therefore a want, not a need. Love is not a need it is a desire, as the universe has supplied each and every one of us a means to have love i.e., parents, friends, relatives, neighbors, groups etc. Therefore, looking for your financial troubles to go away, or finding the perfect man or a woman, or the perfect home or a city are all desires. When we are at peace, through the mantra we receive messages which we call ideas, a way out, or a solution.

Though these solutions may not be always what we want but in time as we start to apply the solutions and continue to enrich our lives by taking care of things that are important in our lives such as health, mind, body, and soul we see how we invoke the energy of positive transformations. With psalms and mantras, achieving the desired result is dependent upon the quality of intention, and when it comes to finding satisfying relationships, it is of the greatest importance to begin with a clear understanding of what the goal should be.

It may not seem that this eclipse is powerful, it is one of the most powerful series of eclipses which, I believe, will transform the world in areas of knowledge, spirituality, and humanity as Virgo possess all of these traits. Additionally the eclipse, Mercury, Jupiter, and soon Mars and Venus enter Virgo. The following mantras for Hindu practitioners will become transformative tools. These mantras do not just relate to Virgo’s but if you have any Virgo planet or you want to assistance through some of the powers of the mantras listed below, I would highly suggest you do so.

The first mantra is presented for the eclipse. Surya means sun, in the Hindu philosophies; it is believed that if you want to see God then we must look at the sun as no humanity can truly exist without the sun. By worshiping to Surya it is believed that it is the sun that removes darkness and brings wisdom. Many Gujarati’s practice this mantra in the morning by offering to the sun first thing after bathing.

The second mantra is especially for Virgo’s. Character of Virgos relates to music, arts, creativity, understanding, wisdom, and supreme consciousness. Maha Sarswati provides solutions to obstacles of education and career paths. Though many Hindus may say it is for children only, this is not true, any time one has difficulty in their career she provides the answers.

With every moon cycle, remember to cross out the old affirmations, even if there is the slightest change, and create new ones. The perfect number for aspirations is 10. This means to list 10 aspirations and recite them every night until the next eclipse cycle. Remember, never make the affirmations begin with “I must”, they must be worded “I will be guided.”

The last Mercury retrograde (read about it here) seems like it was just yesterday. With one roller coaster after another between Saturn, Venus, Jupiter, and Pluto playing rough, Mars and Neptune did not help matters much.

Once again we are forced to slow down and consider everything that happened in the past. The slow moving planet mercury will be turning retrograde again on August 26, 2015. It will begin its journey in the ghost period motioning backwards at 28 degrees Virgo. As Mercury is a slow moving planet it will not station retrograde until September 17, 2015.

On October 9, 2015, Mercury will begin its path to motion forwards at 0 degrees Libra; touching every planet again until it hits station direct on October 17, 2015.

Many astrologers believe that a planet that retrogrades begins its period about 2 to 3 weeks before it begins its actual retrograde period. This is especially the case in the Vedic philosophies, meaning plan now for the hindrances of tomorrow and mitigate any future crisis because of planetary stimuli.

Therefore, I would expect that the energy will be felt as early as August 26, 2015 and as late as October 17, 2015. This period may be reflecting a shadow of what is yet to arise.

Many people elaborate that Mercury will straighten out on October 9, 2015, conversely, the speed of the planet must be calculated, which often is not. Nonetheless, some of the anxieties and perplexity could subside by October 9, 2015; hence, one may be still viewing life with foggy glasses until October 17, 2015.

An example of the energy can be drawn as a train. Before the train begins to move on its track there are many things that need to be prepared prior the journey; such as tickets, time, and other mechanical issues that could cause delays.

When Mercury is retrograde, there are a lot of introverted and self-conscious thoughts which could cause memory loss or forgetfulness. With Mercury retrograde in Virgo-Libra, people with this sign conspicuous in their charts will be predominantly disposed to such contemplation.

Since Mercury rules Gemini & Virgo, they too will be affected as the life they may have once known is in a slow speed. But all mutable signs (Gemini, Virgo, Pisces and Sagittarius) will feel this. Forget about patience, Sagittarius and Pisces may have 0 tolerances. The only thing one must blame it on is Mercury; then again, Mercury does not care how one feels. He will take everyone hostage.

This year’s retrograde has been the most troublesome for Air signs (Gemini, Libra and Aquarius) causing major frustrations. We began our year with the first Mercury retrograde in Aquarius then moved to Gemini and the very last retrograde for this year is going to pound Libra.

Mercury retrograde in Libra may cause a lot of hindrances for Libras and anything that goes wrong is self-scrutiny. The last time Libra’s may have felt like this could have been around September 2009. This could have caused many people to reconnect with people from the past or they realized that they were in the wrong situation at the wrong time. The most recent retrograde would have been in October, 2014 (read more about it here).

Venus rules Libra which focuses mainly on relationships. Reflection will be directed towards personal lives to evaluate, assess deeper issues of relationships, and opening our eyes to the real problem. Libras must expect the unexpected.

The retrograde does not have to be ruthless; it’s blessing about love of order, loveliness, modification and honesty. Many people start to panic when someone mentions Mercury retrograde due to the reputation of delays, obstacles, and electronic malfunctions.

Mercury in Libra questions how communication and quality of relationships relate to one another. It is time to clear up misunderstandings, create healthy boundaries and set a goal to re-discuss the issues after Mercury is direct so that there is no misinterpretation in the future.

Love matters can be unpredictable and impulsive due to egocentric outlooks. All areas of communication are traumatic, especially matters relating to families, business, and particularly anyone who works from home or travels a lot. Papers can go missing. Be sure to carry a journal and refer to it frequently. Rumors concerning companions, partners, and coworkers should be discounted or taken with a grain of salt, particularly if sex or money are elaborated. The plot will coagulate with ambiguities leading up to October 17, 2015 when mercury begins to moves forward.

A planet is defined as retrograde when it seems to be moving the wrong way through the zodiac. This customary concept rises in the misleading planetary motion created by the orbital turning of the earth and relation to other planets in our solar system. Planets are never essentially retrograde or stationary, they just seem that way, due to this optical impression.

Remember, we can use this powerful energy in positive ways. Use this time to do activities that start with “re”: renew, repair, review, renegotiate, and research.

In general, Mercury rules philosophy and insight, processing and distributing information, and all means of communication, commerce, and transportation. In addition, Mercury rules people who work in these areas, especially people who are thinkers or acumen: writers and orators, commentators and critics, gossips and spin doctors, tricksters and thieves. Mercury retrograde gives rise to personal misapprehensions, unsound, interrupted or postponed communications, conferences and trade, malfunctions and breakdowns with phones, computers, cars, buses, and trains. When Mercury is retrograde, everyone’s rational is more meditative and we tend to think about matters causing distress that transmits to the sign involved. Creative propensities including trades, music, art, or design tend to be obstructed by surroundings beyond ones control. Legal matters will progress sluggishly and unanticipated difficulties tend to appear. Mercury retrograde tends to lack complexity of awareness and has no tolerance for detailed exploration. The good things to do when Mercury is retrograde: reflect, envision, edit the book/poem/song/essay you’ve been writing, clean house, talk to your pet, listen to music, paint, and catch up on sleep!

Tendencies which I elaborate below are general and based on Vedic philosophies, not being directed to any specific individual. I will begin with Libras and all Air signs(Gemini, Libra & Aquarius) as 2015 has been fixated on Air sign introspection. Followed by Earth signs lead by Virgo that feel as difficulty in adjusting, but mercury is not bias at all and he can rattle Pisces and all water signs. But somehow of all the astrological signs Fire signs are the only one that shakes of almost anything

Libra: This is your Mercury; the universe really wants you to slow down, consider and contemplate who you are. Do you like the way you look? Are your dignity, integrity, and face being saved by your personality? Remember that one of the most important eclipses is coming in your sign next month and some of these answers you must be prepared to answer. You must also consider how your personality affects people, how easily you become sarcastic, and if you always want control.

Gemini: Your relationships with your children, pleasure, and spiritual practices will be questioned and slowed tremendously. You may not enjoy all the things you used to enjoy and you may even feel as though your wishes are not being granted. I would also not be surprised that if you are married or about to get married, issues of the past come back for discussion and you may feel like you did back in May, 2015.

Aquarius: I am sure many Aquarians want to go back to school, or they are becoming spiritual and your intuition is mostly antennas. Learning, visions, travel, and education can all be problematic to you dear Aquarius. There is a high chance you may easily become very confused, you may not be able to sit still or be able to meditate, and your intuition may be off. This is because you are now questioned that if everything in your life is not consistent and all the gifts you have, i.e. learning, teaching, spirituality and initiative capabilities, were not present then who are you?

Virgo: Money has always been on your mind however, this Mercury questions your money, education, resources, security and anything that is focused around money. It may be that your paycheck is delayed, or a deposit gets lost. I would not be surprised that when you expect to be consistent in areas of money this is where the universe will question you as well. The question to Virgo’s occurs even though Jupiter has a nice placement on your chart. If the money was not there or that money is used faster than it comes in will you still be ok? Most of all, how much weight do your place on your financial resources?

Taurus: Even though Jupiter has entered Virgo and this is a blessing for you too, Mercury will make things a little difficult. You may find that your work and health regime has slowed down. You may feel as though your work is coming to an end or something is wrong. It’s a time to introspect whether what you are doing for a living or career is what you want to do for the rest of your life. If so then what can you do to improve productivity?

Capricorn: Power, prestige, recognition, success and status are all important to you Dear Capricorn, but now Mercury questions you and your profession. You may feel that you did not receive the recognition you usually do, you may feel as though you are not getting ahead in your finances, or you may even feel people are disrespecting you. Mercury also questions how reliant you are on your profession and if you aren’t really reliant then why do you put such emphasis on it?

Pisces: Money matters have been the most important aspect of your life since March. But the time is coming where whatever you are owed, such as pension, inheritance, and gratuity is not arriving in the fashion it used to be. Other people are also not compensating or being too generous with you. The problem is you may have been too reliant on this even though the bashful side of you may be denying this. It is asking you, Pisces to get realistic with what other people must give you and consider what you must give to others.

Cancer: The pleasures you have with your mother, house, and what gives you comfort will be questioned. You may find your environment problematic. All facets may have electronic problems, delays, or uncertainties. Mercury now questions how well did you treat your mother? How well did you take care of your things? Most of all, what affect does it have on you as a person?

Scorpio: You have been down the road when financial matters were limited in your life. Normally you can tell who is deceiving you and who is not. You can also tell instantly who your enemies are, doing this with prayer and reliability in the universe. But now the universe questions how reliant are you on spirituality and resources, and do you cry in secret. All these will become obvious and there may be confusion in regard to religious practices and outcomes.

Aries: Your current relationship will be tried. It is Mercury’s way of having you reassess your past and consider how you may have affected the relationship. I would not be surprised if there are misunderstandings and miscommunication in all areas of personal relationships. You should know that you do not want the past relationships back otherwise they will haunt you.

Leo: You may discover that this retrograde is causing you to be sluggish at work or that there is no work that needs to be done. You may become bored and often feel as though something is wrong. If you work in areas of creativity, writing, or any sort of media, expect glitches in all aspects of creativity and passion.

Sagittarius: I realize you hate Mercury retrograde because you seem to think that Mercury slaps you harder than anyone else. However, this is not true. As a matter of fact you will now see that friendships will be questioned, friends from the past may reconnect, and most of all the communications that friends give to you may seem scattered and confusing.

All of the references listed above are mere tendencies and again, I would recommend you speak to an astrologer if you want in-depth knowledge of how Mercury will touch each planet or none.

Since Mercury is a very sluggish moving planet and it affects virtually all planetary signs, it is my suggestion that you purchase a yellow candle and carve your name through to the wick. Anoint the candle with Inspiration oil or Eucalyptus oil and chant the Psalm 70 every single night. This period will last for 3 weeks and it will be hard on all of us. These actions will allow friendly communications as well as understanding in challenging situations.

You may also choose to recite a mantra every morning until October 21, 2015. Remember that with all applications of psalms and mantras achieving the desired result is dependent upon the quality of intention. When it comes to finding satisfying relationships, it is of the greatest importance to begin with a clear understanding of what your goal should be. The mantras can be hard to pronounce for many but are a powerful source of energy. I have chosen the following mantra for you during this Mercury retrograde:

“Om Budhaya Namaha”

(Om Bood-han-yah Nahm-ah-ha)

“Om and salutations to Buddha, presiding spirit of planet mercury”

This mantra is used to attain spiritual transparency, to evade and overcome misinterpretations, and keep welcoming communications smooth.

Keep in mind this is not a time to make any hardcore decisions about anything – rather, think about it. Sign, promise, and create nothing. Remember that legal issues, closings, work, communication, and transportation will all be flawed at this time.

Most of all make no decisions regarding relationships, there can be difficult conversations, misunderstandings, obsession, jealousy, envy and even power struggles. If by any chance the relationship breaks up, it will be hard to mold it back together again this year as you may have to wait until next year to do so.

In awaiting reunions, make sure you know if this is what you want because if the person is reserved, difficult to understand or just unavailable, they will still be that way now. Again if there is a reunion then do not expect it to stay forever, as all the issues of the past will come tumbling down at the next mercury

Envision a Vision: First Step: Jupiter in Virgo 2015-2016

I have always been curious as to how the complexity of astrology, whether Vedic or Western, predetermines specifics in events of the world as well as in people. The other day I was watching the History Channel; the main topic discussed the “combination of Astronomy and Astrology”-History Channel. To my surprise it was quite fascinating. Though this series questions faith, religion and opens up the discussion of existence, their modern science theory has always fascinated me.

With a little help from my Guru in India, I have decided to write more about the planet of Jupiter. Though there has not been much discussion of this planet, I feel this planet is like whipped cream on an apple pie. Yes, the Apple Pie does taste good alone but it tastes even better when there is whipped cream – but it depends if you like whipped cream. I find it a breath of fresh air. Therefore, those that have had Jupiter in their sign must have felt that was as well.

However, choosing this planet was also serendipity as Jupiter is moving into Virgo on August 11/12, 2015 and it will grace all Virgos for 18 months where it will go direct and stationary between Virgo and Libra. There was a similar event such as this from August 2003 through October 2004. During that time Virgos had planted some sort of a seed. Whatever the seed that was, 12 years later it may bloom again. Depending on how badly you want it.

Many of you may not even know what Jupiter is while some may know that it is a good planet to have. Well my friends, everyone has Jupiter (Guru) in their charts and it crosses each sign 2.5 years according to the sun or the moon (Vedic or Western). I will not go into the jest of the difference between the two, but the only thing you need to know at the moment is that Vedic theory is where the earth revolves around the moon; whereas, western theory depicts that the earth moves around the sun. This only means that whether you focus on Vedic or Western, the signs that one characterizes is either one sign ahead of the other or vice versa. This also makes a big difference when creating individual charts as well as the placement of each planet. There are many different mathematical aspects of astrology and each astrologer places their own twist on how to interpret the situation. But I can guarantee that each astrologer feels Jupiter is a blessing.

No matter which philosophy one follows, the planet of Jupiter has the same meaning. Jupiter is a good blessing, affluence, assistance, trust, optimism and positivity. I have had dialogs with my closest friends whose primary focus is on Western Astrology, and my Guru who uses Hindu Ancient Vedic Philosophies, to guide me through my prayers and be my console. However, Vedic Readers have a completely different prospective. Imagine for a moment that Astrology is the GPS of your life, it tells you which way you will go and at what time. In mathematical calculation of day or year it can also predetermine a good day for something i.e. marriage, home etc. Some Astrology (Vedic) also recommends you wear a certain stone or fast a certain day, to reduce the severity of planets. However, Astrology may not tell you if you take the wrong road what could happen, nor will it tell you, if the road is bumpy, what you should do, and most of all what about the weather. I realize there may be some out there however; the accuracy of those GPS’s can be questioned. Therefore Vedic Reading incorporates the characteristics of Astrology. It maps out the terrain for a short period of time so that next time you are down that bumpy road in the rain you might want to pull over. So when the sun shines again you have gotten where you needed to go just in time.

The Planet Jupiter is also similar in the philosophies in that it touches each sign; kisses them and asks the question what will you do with what I have given you? Jupiter is ruled by Sagittarius and Pisces in Vedic, its name is Guru. Since my philosophies are rooted from the eastern world I will have a primary focus on Vedic vision, thus if Western Astrology is the way one wants to proceed I would highly suggest you contact my recommended astrologers here. Jupiter in Sankrit (the oldest native Indian language) is named as Brahaspati, or Guru for short. It has been said in the old ancient writings that Guru oversees all the planets. He is the teacher and he rules the sun and the moon, including its movements. Guru as we will call him from this day forward, brings good fortune, faith, thinking, mysticism, prosperity, children, accomplishment, integrity, affluence, and partnerships. You may notice many characteristics of Sagittarius and Pisces, and what they rule. Hence, there is an addition to Guru: wherever Guru is placed in ones chart is where one will reap the benefits the most. This placement is the transference of past life karma of the good that he/she will be a benefactor of.

Like Sagittarius, Guru blesses journeys, knowledge, reliability, ethics, handouts, compassion, concern and introspection. This is especially the case for those whose decisions would change the lives of many; Jupiter is also highly imperative for women.

To not to make this blog more complicated, my direction will be focused on how Jupiter magnifies or harms our life. Though we know now the ruling planet of Guru, however he loves to be in a sign of Cancer and Capricorn. So if you Jupiter is placed in your chart in a sign of Cancer you will naturally be blessed, but it does not mean you will always be blessed. This does not mean that other planets or astrological signs will not be blessed but when Jupiter enters ones Sun, Moon, or Mars and is in a sign or Capricorn or Cancer it is usually magnified.

As Jupiter changes signs every 18-24 months. On August 11, 2015, Jupiter will enter/return in the sign of Virgo. Nevertheless, before one can determine severity or the impact of Jupiter, it is imperative to understand the characteristics of the astrological sign.

Virgos are very hardworking people who use their acute, systematic, and organizational skill to move forward in life. Sometimes Virgos get so involved in little details of things that they can’t look at the big picture. They are extremely clean people, though they are good at taking care of themselves, their addictive personality may move them into direction of eating sweets, or extreme salt. The most gratification to a Virgo is their career, not only do they want to be recognized but they want to complete everything perfectly. If they work in a field of helping others they will have instant gratification. Though they are their best in the medical field, they are such perfectionists that they can worry more than they work at times. They are often referred as overachievers and neurotics.

But now Virgos can breathe a little. Virgos will now have a clearer mind as to what is happening in their lives. They will become much more practical yet optimistic and all their talents will come naturally such as truth, health, problem solving and being analytical. There were many hints that the universe had given to you in approximately 2002-2004. Any risks you took that were mistakes brought you to today. Now that you have learned to make mature decisions, Jupiter will bless us to look at things in a much larger view. Virgos will question what they need to do to change. They know though that they want life to be perfect, they are not perfect, and that it is not the experience but the journey that will take them there.

For all the hard work Virgos have put into themselves through changes and all the pain and suffering. this is the best time of your life. It’s time to get your hands dirty as you will reap what you sow. Your skills will be perfected, and who knows, you may learn something new. Virgos will also become busy bees. It will be time to take those baby steps. Virgos looking for some sort of break, here it comes. Those Virgos that are seeking to expand, move, or alter their career, Jupiter will help you succeed.

For anything that is work oriented, one should allow Virgos to lead, or be involved, because Jupiter is kissing them – it will succeed. Speaking of which, success only comes when Virgos feel good about themselves, and finally they will look at their health habits such as food and diet and decide to take better care of themselves (no more cookies, apple fritters and chips) –Who me ? I would never say such thing dear Virgo.

Baby boomers, and Generation X; 54-58 and 66- 70, this is your Jupiter. With its return you are now about to go deeper into your heart and make your wishes come true; but not just Virgos, however, all earth signs will be affected. If your work is honest, with morality and values, you will reap the rewards but if you take on too much as a part of ego driven leadership then you won’t be able to handle all that is imposed on you.

Throughout September, with the eclipse and confusion of what you need to do to bring luck (Neptune/Jupiter Square), you may seem confused. But when Jupiter was in Leo you learned something very important; either look out for yourself or look out for yourself and others. From that idea you will now have the inspiration you need to move forward. Now is the time to take your ideas home.

Mercury is going begin to move backwards in time in Virgo. The ghost period begins on August 25, 2015 and it switches signs on September 12, 2015 when it moves into Libra until October, 22, 2015 (give or take a couple of days). Additionally, New moon in Virgo on September 12, 2015 paired with the partial solar eclipse at 10 degrees Virgo will assist all Virgos to shed their old skin and promise of a new one (blog to be posted by Aug 20-22, 2015).

Virgo’s have been thinking too much; as a matter of fact, I could smell the fire all the way here. Your visions will come to reality. Remember that Guru is on your side, you can now improve every aspect of your life such as love, life, work, and career. You may get an itch to go somewhere where you have never been before. You will no longer fear that someone will create restrictions or place heavy burdens on your plate. Be careful though, when Jupiter is in a specific sign there are extra pounds that should be there and because you are enjoying life so much you may forget your blood pressure or sugar. Forget those Apple Fritters, Chocolate Chip cookies and most of all rich foods that make you go yummm. You will regret it later.

Virgos may be very concerned about family, home, and work. I would not be at all surprised if there is a large purchase such as a building or apartment, or come on some money you never thought you had. At the same time, Virgos do love their families and there will be deep worries relating to family matters. But don’t expect your entire journey for 18 months to be a bed of Roses. You may become short tempered and when you feel your opinion is not being heard, be flexible and open.

My dear Virgo, be good while Jupiter comes to visit. If you want things to be fair don’t micromanage, and you will soon realize everything is not as is seems if you place your feet in another shoes.

At the evening hours of May 24, and the midnight hours for some on May 25, 2013, our first Penumbral Lunar Eclipse occurs at 3 to 4 degrees in Sagittarius at approximately 12:10 am EST and 9:10 pm PST depending on the orb. A few minutes later, the sky will be lit with a full moon in Sagittarius at 12:35am EST and 9:35pm PST.

The Penumbral lunar eclipse, though it may bring intensity to human factors of emotions and actions, is not very active in the sky. The Penumbral eclipse happens when the earth moves between the sun and the moon and does not form a perfect eclipse lining like a full eclipse would. Unlike the moon and sun covering during the normal eclipse, this time the earth obscures a part of the sun from the visibility of the moon. Due to the nature of this eclipse there will not be a change in the brightness or dimness of the moon. The eclipse may last up to ½ hour and, if all seen, it would be seen from South Americas and North America but it will only touch 1.6% diameter. As much as the view of the eclipse is beautiful when there is a total eclipse, unfortunately and fortunately there are none this year.

“The final eclipse during May occurs on the 24th-25, and it is a full moon (lunar) eclipse at 4 degrees of Sagittarius, reaching a lunar peak in the US at 12 25 a.m EST. The NASA website calls this eclipse the ‘hyrid solar eclipse of 1789.’”-Leslie Hale

This year has already been very intense with back to back eclipses. Fortunately, there are only two more this year and they will be in the fall; in Aries and Scorpio. So relax for a bit and enjoy the change.

The lunar eclipse will fall at 03 to 04 degrees in Sagittarius depending upon the orb. This eclipse is will be concentrated around early Sagittarius, including descendant, ascendant and those that have mutable sign in their chart (Sagittarius, Pisces, Gemini’s and Virgos). The prominence of this eclipse will be more on being cooperative, transcendent, lenient, and taking risk; at the same time there will be a dislike for confinement, dullness, hesitation and criticism.

“Sagittarius is the natural ruler of the 9th house of ideas and beliefs and this eclipse will be the last on the Sagittarius /Gemini axis. The 3rd/9th house axis relates to world view, medicine, publishing, religion, education, ideas, communication and the way we think and view the world. This eclipse will also re-stimulate, to some degree, the issues that were raised by the November 25, 2011 eclipse when it was in 2 degrees in Sagittarius (Read more about it here). Perhaps looking at those days will trigger a memory which will assist understanding – what happened during the months to follow and can now assess in what is about to take place for the next 6 months. I have had people tell me sometimes it’s the complete opposite and sometimes it’s exactly the same. But the eclipse energy is always about endings.

The effects of this eclipse can be felt as early as 5 days before (May 20, 2013). The uneasiness of the energy of the eclipse will be felt by everyone; however, the strength of the eclipse depends upon the house that the eclipse falls in your astrological chart. Every eclipse has a significant bearing on revolution in our lives for at least 6 months; therefore, early born Sagittarius may feel this effect more so than ever.

This eclipse is particularly relationship oriented – our relationship with others can be separated, tested, or suddenly repaired as the surprise calls one to action. We may deeply consider our feelings and needs within the context of the house, sign and planetary aspects affected. To fully appreciate the potential in the lunar eclipse, we must explore both houses and signs that are brought into play. Where the Moon is we can confront our fears, old behaviors and doubts, and where the Sun is we may find the means to release from whatever oppression we experience in life through our creative efforts. In any event, there are opportunities for deeper understanding, and finding a balance in our lives.

To able to feel or rather relate to the intensity of this eclipse is to recall the eclipse that occurred on December 21, 2010, which paved the pathway to the eclipse which are about to start the motion of magnified transformation for many. While this eclipse will affect Aries in their 9^th house which focuses on learning and education, for Taurus it could affect your 8^th house which a symbol of transformation and other people’s money. Gemini’s could have symphony in the 7^th house of marriages and their relationships with others. While Cancers will be focusing on their health, Leos their homes and beautifying it or moving it. Virgos 4^th house will be triggered with a great analysis of their roots and family trying to figure out where they are coming from and where they are going. Into the mix comes Libra’s placement with this eclipse in their 3^rd house, attentions on short trips perhaps going back to school and recreating their communication skills.

Scorpios will not be out of this mix with a placement in their 2^nd house whose motivations would be around how they will earn their money and how they will manage it. Which leaves us with the beautiful Sagittarius who will rumble this eclipse trying to find out who they are, and this eclipse will transform them one way or another triggering their 1^st house (Ascendant). While Sagittarius’ begins to find themselves, Capricorns needs to be more careful as this triggers their 12^th house of hidden enemies such as secrets and health. This will be a collective change for Aquarius that will be focusing on their 11th house of friends and those that protect them. While Pisceans ‘will have their 10^th house triggered as far as their careers and where they position themselves in society.

Sagittarius is about our beliefs and perhaps it is time for changes in our thinking about many things. An eclipse in Sagittarius can cause things to become blown out of proportion. There could be difficulty with travel, writers and those who communicate through the media, or have written certain things that prove questionable. Legal issues may arise and this transit is prone to expose scandals. Religious issues may also be in the forefront. We may also see issues/problems with water and drugs.

For example, this eclipse triggers my mars, Venus and my progress chart since this eclipse is relationship related it is magnified to bring new beginnings for many. However, having Venus in Sagittarius, love is a journey as long as there is learning there is love. Deteriorating relationships will bring suffocation therefore; suffocation or being caged will not be allowed with those that have Venus in Sagittarius.

If partnerships are too serious this will kill what is left in the relationship because there are many dreams and visions to fulfill. Therefore having a perfect partner for those that have Venus in Sagittarius or even involved with a Sagittarius must understand that there needs to be continues learning, joking, playing, travel, understanding, dreams, beliefs, truth, understanding and most of all love.

Many people have asked the question how often they should have a reading done by a psychic or a tarot reader. In my opinion, an in-depth reading should be done every moon cycle. On May 20, 2012, a beautiful ring will appear in our skies with the Annular Solar Eclipse in Gemini. The new moon will create a beginning and solar eclipse will heighten the effect. This wonderful symphony will occur at approximately 07:47am EST and 3:47 am PST. The eclipse will occur in 0 degrees Gemini. It will be an amazing reset button for many.

The stunning part of the Annular Solar Eclipse happens when both planets the sun and the moon are in lined at the exact position. The line of the planets will cause a ring due to the placement and the size of the moon which will appear as a fire in the sky. Even though the moon will enter our skies while the sun raises, those in the United States will not see it until the early afternoon in the United States. This type of eclipse has not happened for 18 years in the United States and another like this will not occur until October 14, 2013. The eclipse will begin its journey in Southeast China and continues its journey from California to Northern western Texas at 8:39 pm.

This is the third series of eclipses that have affected mutable signs since December 2010 read about it here. Those that will have direct impact from this eclipse will be those that have planets at 25 to 30 degrees in Taurus, Leo, Scorpio and Aquarius and those that have early planets in mutable signs (Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius and Pisces).

On December 21, 2010 at 3:17 am EST, 12:17am PT we will have a Total Lunar Eclipse as well as the Winter Solstice at 7:04am EST, 4:40am with the full moon in Gemini at 29 degrees. For the first time in a long time the visibility will be prominent in eastern Asia, Australia, northwestern Europe, Africa and all of America.

People with mutable signs(Gemini, Sagittarius, Pisces and Virgos), will have difficulties unscrambling their self-image from their emotions, failing to recognize that someone or something is not what it appear and it is all a self image or a mirage rather than a emotional commitment. During the eclipse the sun and the moon will play a significant role in the messages which are being delivered by this eclipse. It is time to use these messages to make over something that is ended and start to build something new. Often times it means to continuously think over things until you are totally exhausted and finally make that choice with coherent thinking.

Many people will change their plans of the future by taking the time to look at all the things that have not worked in their lives to reach new goals. Especially to look at what has held them back for so long to obtain their sublime bliss. Since the eclipse falls in ruler of Sagittarius/ Gemini we are seeking the truth through contemplation. This is the first series of eclipses which will capture the heart and soul of Sagittarius and Gemini’s. During this time something could very well end and plan begin anew and may manifest for the partial solar eclipse on June 01, 2011.

Mutable signs (Gemini, Sagittarius, Pisces and Virgos) or those who have mutable signs in their charts will be obsessed to do things that interfere with our emotional satisfaction or chasing after their desires while wasting their talents and skills trying to balance a war between their emotions and their ambitions.

This eclipse will also re-stimulate to some degree the issues were raised during the solar eclipse in 2001. According to Vedic astrology during this eclipse it triggers Rahu (Confusion) and Ketu (Anger) to aspect the sun. Therefore, many unforeseen and sad events are possible all around the world. Gemini’s are also the rulers of worries and thus causing situations to be a bit out of control. However, Rahu’s placement (Jupiter) will make things slight bit tolerable. If you would like to refer back to when this kind of energy may have felt like look back at January 09, 2001, November 2003, April 2004 if you can remember that far back.

I can recall in January 2001, I woke up from illusionary relationship and accepted that I must move my self to a higher calling which is to re-examine what I was doing and where I was going. I tapped into my energy source of my own psyche which I was so afraid of for so long and opened the doors of the unexpected and not to fear the unknown. While letting go of people who are no longer beneficial to me. I began to share my gifts which have been given to me through higher calling that I had thrown away for 9 years previous. Dismissing everything that was righteous to escape into the unknown which I called vacuum years later. I decided to go back to school leaving behind a very profitable career to reach for my dream instead of living in a dream of others.

Since this eclipse is geared toward, learning, educational, communication and seeking the truth. That was path which was unseen at the time of the eclipse but was not discovered much later on. In 2003, I again changed my major in college during the eclipse and changed it again in 2004 eclipse. The eclipses were all about starting something new when the old was getting boring. It was also about exploring the depths of relationships which were mentally, physically and spiritually exhausting me while serving others and finding a median. Whatever, I grasped during the eclipses I was always led to leave things that were never useful and spiritual. If it meant I left friends and relationships to have a higher calling than that is what the eclipses did. Look back and see how career, money and relationships transformed you? And are you prepared to do it again? If you are are you learned? Or will you do something with pride and knowledge or will you repeate the same mistakes?

This eclipse falls in areas of communications whether it is news about your next door neighbor, your ex or global events it will most defiantly get your attention. Everyone will be talking it may even feel like you have information overload. Sagittarius also rules learning, teaching and travel. When a lunar eclipse occurs, the earth is passing between the Sun and the Moon, creating a Full Moon as we experience every month – but in this case, the alignment is perfect – the occultation of the Moon complete. The intensity of the Full Moon is great, yet she is totally covered for about an hour by the earth’s shadow. You might even see violet, orange and possible blue moon. The Sun and Moon are occupying opposite Astrological signs, therefore emphasizing the particular polarity inherent in those signs.
