As I wrote this blog, I had to stop several times, not because I wanted to, rather, it was due to the fear of a catastrophic or devastating situation around the world. Not only was I coming down with a head cold, but it seems as if I was swimming in muddy water and something heavy was carrying me. My temperature fluxed from severely hot to normal, I knew this was completely out of the norm for me.
Though I had not shared this with my husband or my friends it seems as if I could not possibly grasp what was bound to happen. It felt as though for many nights and after the full moon, I was confined but it was not until the full moon that I realized I was once again correct to hold off on writing this.
But as I post this at almost two weeks later, my legs still feel heavy, and my body continues to ache with a severe stuffy nose almost as if I am swimming and I cannot swim up to get a breath. Could it mean something is still not resolved? Or could it be the connected energy as I had three years back. I surely hope this is not the case as I am still lethargic and seeing faces in my dreams (whom I have never seen before). It is not scary but magical.
In Vedic philosophies, it is marked that a full moon always brings light to something that has been hidden for so long and it is also the beginning of something (read more about it here). Furthermore, the energy of the full moon can often be felt 5 days before, which means that whatever was meant for us to open our eyes to would intensify around the 19th of June and become vividly clear by the 24th, and most likely not resolve or complete until 5 days later.
Perhaps you may wonder what the point is that I am trying to make. If you are an avid reader of my articles, I have written that this year I have decided not to do predictions for 2021 on purpose because nothing this year seems positive, rather, only bringing tears to my eyes.
On June 24, 2021, the super full moon brought us brilliancy and opened our eyes to the strawberry moon Sagittarius-Capricorn in the sign of Cancer. The sky was completely lit at 12:28am EST and 3:28 am PST. The super strawberry moon was so bright it was almost as if someone turned on a light bulb.
A similar energy can be recalled in 2013, when a derecho swiped Nebraska to Ohio and few days later the Yarnell Hill fire charred Arizona during which time over 19 fire fighters lost their lives, and many people were dislocated due to damages to home and other structures. During this time, it was also a super strawberry moon in Capricorn.
Similarly, on June 24, 2021, 45 minutes after the full moon (about 1:20am EST), Champlain Towers South collapsed and as of June 27, 2021, 158 are still missing and 5 have been confirmed dead. I do believe this was a disaster that could have been prevented and I do believe that by the end of this month, or at the latest 6 months from now, we will find out that the pressure of the ocean (Cancer energy), the sinking of the building (Earth energy-Capricorn), and something hidden (truth-Sagittarius) will surely make us understand better that it may have been political, whereas something was overlooked.
But the answers may not come quickly enough for most as we are still under a retrograde period; therefore, be kind to yourself and others around you. Everyone remains affected by this retrograde period. Mutable signs (Gemini, Sagittarius, Pisces, and Virgo) and those emphasized are those that have Cancer in their chart by the retrograde as well. The first full moon in June is referred to as the strawberry moon by Native Indian Tribes but it is also known as a Rose moon by the English. This moon brings with it the crop of strawberries and flourishes of roses. This breathtaking event occurs just days after the summer solstice when the shifting of the season brings many of us illumination and enthusiasm. Not only is it noticeably gorgeous, but people will be affected under this moon; this is especially true for Sagittarius and Capricorn or those who have both in their charts, as they will be transformed.
The Earthy Full Moon brings a time of glow and flourishing. It is a period of individual realization, but also a time to examine for the richer meaning in what you have established. With the moon in Capricorn, the pulsation of Saturn is highlighted. It is time for quantifiable motivation and an appreciation of work and commitment. In the search for prestige and financial security, people might become unaware, even callously cruel, but through self-concentrated necessity rather than animosity.
During every full and new moon, I bring forth tendencies specific to the astrological sign emphasized by the lunar events. The principal placeholder affected by this moon is the sign of Capricorn. With Saturn retrograding back to Sagittarius until October (according to VPAT), you should be feeling a little bit at ease. But at the same time, you may have more expenses than normal, as Saturn always brings forth hard work and presents at the front door. If you decide to travel for business, the opportune time is June and July, and also with the ease of Saturn, you could find more responsibilities will be on your plate to better prepare you for when Saturn goes direct back into your sign. You do, however, need to be mindful with your work schedule as headaches, sleepless nights, and acid reflex are possibilities. Educational efforts will soar, resulting in good results during the summer and early fall.
