Drum Roll Please…. Twelve days till Christmas … Thirteen days to the Eclipse … Most of all, within three weeks we can finally say goodbye to 2019. However, the Universe will not let us close the year without opening both of our eyes. One eye will be opened with the Full moon another with the eclipse in Capricorn.

Though this is not a super moon as it was in 2018, it might as well be. The intense energy will be forcing us to “Be very realistic with what you are doing and how you are doing it because things may come to a head with high beams on and no place to go. Use this full moon to seek out the spiritual divine or journey and breathe it all in. December 12, 2019 at 12:30 am EST, 3:38 PST, we will have a full moon in Gemini at 20 degrees in Sagittarius-Gemini axis, and Gemini/Taurus constellation according to VPAT (Vedic Philosophical Ayurvedic Theories) depending upon the orb.

Gemini seeks discussions, whereas Sagittarius seeks the truth and Taurus demands loyalty. With all three energies it can be a very powerful truth-seeking month with endless opportunities for healing. Or, it can be a very analytical, argumentative, and inflexible, and never getting to a yes with communication.

Secret of ambiguities, the Moon calls to the envisaging depth to rouse and wander in lands beyond the comprehensible, rational, and the lunar daylight self. It is time to crease away in the dream time; notice your perception and search for answers in early memories which may be suppressed inside your unconscious. Release your clutch on the monotonous now; don’t try to have it all make sense.

Keep a dream journal and be open to moon suggestions. Work with premonitions, self-sufficiency, and other forms of mystic intuition that let the mind drift free. Everything becomes pulsating and more powerful under the light of the full moon – urges and characters can become rather overstated, and we may have more mindfulness and focus on relationships. The energy is just right for glowing dreams. Bleeding and hemorrhaging are more likely during a full moon, so take care.

This type of energy has been felt before to the exact degree and date as the one in December 2000. Nonetheless, this will be the closing of a chapter to things you may have begun in June 2007 and June 2010. We all had false starts in December 2008 and 2011. Fortunately, the closest to this degree will not be possible again until 2027.


If we were to look back at the events of December 2000 and 2008 there are many similarities. We can analyze too that perhaps 8 years from now we can look back and change historical events or at least do what we can so that we do not repeat them.

In December 2000 the U.S. Supreme Court overturned the Presidential election recount giving Bush the election over Gore. The Texas Seven and the Wichita massacre made headlines in the States, while the Steelers were one step closer to the Super Bowl against the Redskins. While in December 2008, Governor Blagojevich is arrested on corruption charges for accepting bribes for political gains, including President Obama’s seat in Chicago. I believe that we will hear news of this on both spectrum in December 2019. Perhaps Trump will stay, and Giuliani gets arrested or someone of power gets arrested for corruption and bribery.


On the environmental side, Tornado’s in the Carolina’s and the nor’easter in the Northeast crippled the nation in December 2000. While in December 2008, the North American snowstorms and Nor’easter once again forced many people to their homes with millions without power. I can only pray that our infrastructure is stronger this time around to avoid power outages such as the ones in 2000 and 2008.

Certainly, like everything begins something must end to make space for new. This moon calls for events to begin and put an end to issues which occurred at the same degree or close to it in June 2007 and June of 2010. This is very similar to events of 2000, 2008, and now.

In June 2007, White house officials are subpoenaed in relation to evidence of dismissing several prosecutors while Bush citing executive protection. While in 2010, the Justice Department sought out several defendants in sleeper programs by Russia who eventually plead guilty to conspiracy. Is there a similarity with things happening now? I would say so. Perhaps the players and circumstances are different, however, it is along the same lines of several similarities such as executive power, conspiracy, bribes, and Russia.

Weather patterns were also similar in 2007. While flooding and tornadoes halted people in their tracks in the west, dry conditions in the south and northeast brought people to their knees for water supplies. Heavy rain hit in the northern plans, with tornado outbreaks in the Midwest and the Great Lakes Region, while a Southern drought killed crops causing a rise in the price of food. Perhaps mother nature will be kind to us in 2020 and perhaps we can finally understand and accept global warming. Whatever the case may be, we can only look at these situations and learn from them or keep making the same mistakes until history repeats itself once again.

Now that Mercury is direct, this does not mean things will be easy for us as the last eclipse of 2019 is right around the corner. All those that have Capricorn anywhere in their charts will be affected by this eclipse as something will end. This is the second to last eclipse in Capricorn. Therefore, what does not fit into your life will surely end.

But this Full moon comes with plenty of cantankerousness taking on the energy of the Gemini moon, meaning that nothing is consistent. Communication and unpredictable, or two-sided, features are strained. Intrusive ideas and provocation may come in an instant, where one door opens to another. This irritability may be stirred through email, social media, or telephone communication. Explore all that is necessary, but at this time, you should not plant roots because you may change your mind.


This moon I am not bringing forth the planetary inferences for Gemini’s as they will certainly change and will be elaborated more during the Solar Eclipse on Christmas Day.

It is my suggestion to bring out those objectives on paper, again, and cross off the ones you have already changed and then make new ones. I also suggest purchasing a yellow candle, carving your name on it, anointing it with sandalwood or frankincense oil, and chanting the following chant:

“I ask to find the inner light of my creativity. I wish for the universe to help me achieve the acknowledgment that I desire. I pray that I may find the strength to take chances with my creativity.”

Along with Psalm 7, recite this chant every night until the next full moon phase which will be on January 10, 2020 (First Eclipse of 2020).

You may also choose to recite a mantra every morning. Remember, with all applications of psalms and mantras, to achieve the desired results they must be done with selfless motives. If you do  have these selfish motives, no matter how many times manifesting vibrations are chanted, results will not be achieved.

 

This moon I have chosen two mantras. Additionally, I have included a more complicated and powerful mantra on the list; if you are unable to pronounce it, it is best to chant the easier one.

The blessings of Spring and Summer season is upon us. Even though Summer Solstice is right around the corner, the May and June showers will make it feel like spring with the heat of the summer. It is almost as if it will be a monsoon season. Perhaps Mother Nature is giving us a blessing for our crops. But like they say, be careful what you wish for.

So why is it so difficult? No matter what is going on that is beautiful and kind, we seem to find a reason to find falsity or negate the most obvious and can’t learn to relax. When it’s beautiful outside the comment I often hear is, “Gosh it’s so bright/hot.” When it’s spring, “It’s so rainy and my allergies are acting up”. When it’s autumn, “It’s so cold and muddy” and in the winter, “It’s so cold and I am over the snow.” In any of these statements I have yet to hear “What a blessing of the rain, sun, the beauty of the leaves and change of season.” Now, I say, enjoy this because the planets are stronger than Mother Nature. If you have never seen a hurricane, tornado, or blizzard, then you are in for a big surprise.

However, it’s not just the past repeating itself, but the planets are also transforming humanity to understand that we must live differently than before. The way we are living our lives is no longer working as it seems we attach to negative thinking and conflicts.

According to VPAT (Vedic Philosophical Ayurvedic Theories), the planet Mars is currently in Gemini and will stay there until the next new moon. This transit will allow for flow of conversations and negotiation but at the same time there could be restlessness and boredom in every aspect of one’s life, including love life. So, if your love life becomes a little dull between now and June 24, remember this shall too pass.

Nevertheless, with Chiron in Aries, things from the past are bound to be a topic of intense discussion. Take for instance Roe v. Wade (guaranteeing a woman’s right to abortion in 1973) which is now being threatened by multiple states putting severe restrictions upon it. Adding to this reflection, Saturn is retrograding in Sagittarius (according to VPAT) making now the time to pay your karmic debts led by God of Justice. For a while now, there was no news about Presidential impeachment, but here we go again, the talks are on.

The planets and the universe are desperate and making sure we know that we are being looked at. Not only are our actions being looked at, but also how much we respect our resources of all kinds. With Uranus in Taurus for the next 8 years, our economy will change. These changes have already begun with the talks of Chinese tariffs. Hence, Uranus also controls the unexpected and uncontrollable which includes the weather, which has ripped across many states to bring destruction. Therefore, our main resources of money, crops, and habitat is being restructured.

The reorganization does not happen in a vacuum and this is where the powerful Rahu/Ketu will act upon us. With Rahu in Gemini, it takes the traits of a Gemini, wanting to talk and learn, and polish ourselves. Whereas, with Ketu in Sagittarius, now it’s time to accept circumstances as they are, even when we create our own situations. However, what we need to take away from these intense planets is that emancipation only happens when we have learned and communicate as we want others to do with us. Every aspect of our lives: body, mind, and soul, must be interconnected through wisdom and acceptance. This is why this moon is going to have such a great impact on us.

As I have always said, new moons are not blessings, rather, an ending to a situation so that we can plant a seed for a new tomorrow.

The New Moon in Gemini on June 03, 2019 at 6:01 a.m. EST, 3:01 a.m. PST will initiate transformation to many. This new moon settles itself at 182 degrees in Gemini, depending upon the Orb.

The closer you were born to the date, the more powerful the changes. Many of you may begin to feel this as early as 5 days before. But this is not really a new moon as we have been there before; this is, once again, the same degree, date, and time as the new moon in 2000. Furthermore, this moon correlates to the issues of 2008 when it was at 13 degrees, and 2011 when it was at 11 degrees.

I would also not be surprised if London, Kuwait, Sweden, Norway, and/or San Francisco were in the news. It may have to do with communication and how people are viewing it. It may also be changing and fluctuating communication which becomes blurred. Then again, weather patterns could bring very strong winds.

The New Moon signals a time of growth through discarding the old. There is a wish to take hostile action because the old actions are longer reasonable. The progression of transformation will come from the heart – believe in your heart and trust that every risk is worth taking as it is the first day of one’s life.

The chart of the individual is the key stimulus of this new moon for months to come. It is about planting seeds, taking risk, going for the most impossible, being of one mind, and giving it 100% so you never have to regret. However, Gemini’s will not be the only ones that will be affected by the combination of inventiveness. All those that are mutable signs (Sagittarius, Gemini, Virgo and Pisces) will also be touched. Also affected will be those that have ascendants or descendants in Gemini in their chart.

Many will be extremely autonomous. A drive to accomplish and achieve personal plans and standards is the focus of this energy. Hence, there is a propensity to respond impulsively and short. The Gemini vigor knows how to see both sides effortlessly; consequently, feeling more flexible, unpredictable, and verbose will be the theme of this moon. It is a good time to write, take care of tasks that are like mathematical puzzles, make speeches, or just let ideas fly through the clouds. Abstract quests and mind games may become more necessary to vindicate emotions. Take caution though, a thoughtless tongue may quickly express things that are only true for the moment.

A need to repeatedly express your feelings and quickly arrive at a rational solution to an emotional problem may not be acknowledged. This is because feelings will be substituting back and forth, as Gemini’s do. At the same, seeing the several facets of circumstances, and winding or changing to others may be good. This could however, make people appear inconsistent or two-sided, but it is really the sign of an open mind. Fostering others by remaining in welcoming communication will be a valuable superiority of this moon. You need to relate to your mother as a friend and keep in regular contact.

Every month highlights a certain Astrological sign and its energy; thus, I will bring to you the universal inclinations which could support in making the shift from full moon to new moon as smooth as possible so that each step is spiritual. While many would want each astrological sign to receive focus, each astrological energy is emphasized only during their peak time and it would not be fair to bring forth examination for every sign when one is more protruding than others.

Gemini

Since April, and until the fall, with Saturn retrograding, it may seem that you will have to be very diligent with your motivation and ambitions. This means that it may be difficult for you to focus. You will have plenty of choices and progress during this period. If you did not get a job promotion or a better career opportunity it may come to you right after the eclipses. But there are also chances of feeling lethargic, pressured, or bored in your career. This could cause conflict and hostility with higher authorities. Be careful if you are in a relationship as there could be some interpersonal arguments. Family relationships could end or begin anew; but your self-esteem will get better. Guiding yourself financially and spiritually will benefit you later in the year.

Saturn: April 2019-Sept 2019. If Saturn were direct, I would say hooray for you; however, being that it is retrograding, these are tough times. Old health issues may pop up. Minor tiffs with your relationships of all kinds could also hamper your life. However, this is the time you may allow the higher power’s hand in yours, but there could be issues with your home or property you own.

Ketu – Now that Ketu is in Sagittarius it is about looking at partnerships of all kinds. Minor spats with your partner could escalate into something that should not be. Allow yourself to look at both sides of the situation. There could also be differences in partnership when it comes to financial resources.

Rahu – As a twin yourself, Ketu and Rahu are also brother and sister, and this time Rahu is in your sign. Whereas twins copy each other, sometimes so will Rahu and Ketu. There may be health issues with either no cure or no real diagnosis. Your patience and temper will be tested at this time. Focus on the road when driving and every legal document should be read more than one time.

Uranus: It’s time to take a magnifying glass to your past. Look at all the decisions you have made and how they have molded you into who you are now. Though you may not like who you are every now and then because of past mistakes, it’s best to stop dwelling and keep on moving. It is about noting you can’t change the past. It is also a time for you put your best foot forward where you will be appreciated. Your communication and listening skills with the people who don’t have what you have will bring the forgiveness and appreciation you are seeking.

Jupiter – Currently Jupiter is in Scorpio, going backwards until August 2019. This may not present Jupiter’s best advantages for you. There may be some issues at the work place and ups and down with those that you may have to work with on a daily basis. Furthermore, this may cause some health issues and there could be separation or physical space between you and your partner.

Mars: As Mars moves into your sign, it’s too bad that it won’t last until the end of June. This will be a positive aspect for you. You will have plenty of energy but too much of it may cause assertiveness and this could cause conflicts with your loved ones. This may be because you want your success to be grand through material and resource gains. You must be extra cautious walking and driving as the energy is so unsettled that it could cause unnecessary issues.

Keep your cool Dear Gemini, pointless arguments with your partner and family will not be helpful. Additionally, you must be vigilant in everything you do as there could be unforeseen theft or even litigation which you may feel you are not responsible for. Be choosy in the company you keep as your reputation may be lost. The distance, physically or emotionally, between you and your partner is a possibility because you want space and this may cause disturbed relations. Do not get yourself involved in issues which are no concern of yours as competitors will have an advantage over you. Due to lack of sleep you may become accident prone. Do not be egotistical and be very vigilant with your words and actions.

The Gemini moon will arouse interest. Enthralling ideas seem endless. Enjoy this ride because retrograde in two weeks will make people look at their decisions to make sure they were correct for the situation.

The Moon in Gemini also brings a time of communications and flexibility. People may feel very chatty and attentive. This is a time to pursue academic interests and to take care of communications, both verbal and written. Like the twins that symbolize Gemini, people may be able to see both sides of a problem, but they may also be unpredictable and fidgety, unable to make up their minds. Caution needs to be taken to avoid saying something in haste that will be regretted later.

On November 28, 2012 at 9:33am EST, 6:33 am PT we will have a Penumbral Lunar Eclipse as well as the full moon in Gemini at 6 degrees depending upon the orb. The moon will grace at the same time. This eclipse is the 5th eclipse in series that began December 21, 2010 (read about it here), June 1, 2011 (read about it here), and December 10, 2011 (read about it here) and May 20, 2012 (read about it here).  This is second series of the Total Lunar Eclipse in Gemini.  Though the degrees vary by 7 to 16 degrees in exact position, the effects will be very similar to the one felt on June 1, 2011.

The visibility will be mostly in western Canada and limited in the United States.  However, to see this eclipse in full it is best to see it in Alaska, Australia or East Asia and it will last for approximately 1.5 hours.

The skies will capture this moon and it is known as the pure White moon; this is because the sky is pure black and the illumination brightens the sky.

 

This Lunar Eclipse and Full moon will impact people with mutable signs (Gemini, Sagittarius, Pisces and Virgos), whom will have incomprehensibility in sorting out their view of themselves and to the sentiments they feel.  Failing to distinguish that something or someone is not what it or they appear and it is not as passionately connected as they had anticipated.

During the eclipse the sun and the moon will have a vital role in areas of communication that is being brought by this eclipse.  It is time to use the signs from the universe to redo something that is ended and start to build something new. Often times it means planning until there is total exhaustion and finally making a rational decision.

Many people will transform their plans of the future by taking the time to look at all the things that have not met their desires to bring about new goals.  Especially to look at what has held them back for so long from having their sublime bliss. This eclipse brings astonishing scenarios to the surface such as how we are to others, how we act toward others, and if our actions are in the best interests of all.  The eclipse energy brings Jupiter to focus where we bring spirituality into our lives and really clean up our act.  With Sagittarius also in the mix we are looking for the truth and seeking dependability.

Eclipses always come in pairs – keeping in mind for everything that ends, there is always a new beginning. This is the last Gemini eclipse of 2012 and there will not be another. However, Sagittarius has one more eclipse in May 2013 , and the duo is finished which brings together the Scorpio/ Taurus eclipses beginning November 13, 2012 and continuing for the next year and a half (read about the beginning eclipse here). 

Mutable signs (Gemini, Sagittarius, Pisces and Virgos) or those who have mutable signs in their charts will be gripped to do things that hinder with their emotional gratification or chasing after their desires while wasting their talents and skills trying to balance a war between their hunger and their desire.

According to Vedic astrology, during this eclipse Rahu (Confusion) and Ketu (Anger) are triggered to aspect the sun. Therefore, many unexpected and sad events are possible all around the world.  Gemini’s are also the rulers of reservations and thus causing situations to be a bit out of control. However, Rahu’s placement (Jupiter) will make things a slight bit tolerable.

When I look back at the events of December 21, 2010 I began a wonderful journey of work in area of education; work was over bearing, lectures and communication was very tiresome, and I worked very hard to gain a permanent position by putting hours of work, which was uncompensated for, just to please my supervisor only to find out in June they hire an additional full time person giving them full benefits while I continued to be paid on hourly basis with little benefits. Eventually, I finally did get hired full time only to find out again I had to take time off for medical reasons and conflicts again occurred at work through discriminative communications. Months before the May eclipse it was decided that the business would close down which would again mean what began in December is coming to a real end November 28, 2012 and it was very clear that would be the day.  Read about December 2010 eclipse here

This eclipse is geared toward education, learning, communication and seeking the authenticity.  The path that was unseen was not discovered until May 2012 eclipse.  The eclipses were all about starting something groundbreaking when the old was getting dull. It was also about discovering the depths of relationships which were psychologically, physically and spiritually exhausting while serving others and finding a center.  Whatever I grasped during the eclipses, I was always led to leave things that were never useful and spiritual.  If it meant I left friends and relationships to have a higher calling then that is what the eclipses did. Look back and see how profession, money and relationships transformed you? What choices did you make? Did you learn from them or are you at the same place doing the same thing that you were doing during 2001 to now? Are you going to school? Are you teaching someone? Or are you being taught? These are all questions being asked of you.

This eclipse falls in areas of communications; whether it is news about your next door neighbor, your ex or global events it will most insubordinate get your interest.  Everyone will be conversing and it may even feel like you have information overload.  Sagittarius also rules learning, teaching and travel.  But it could also mean publishing and writing and it is about upgrading already learned skills. However, it can be quite negative for people who are born within 5 days before or after November 28, 2012. Issues may be brought to the surface but don’t forget that we will all be affected one way or another since it’s hard not to have at least one mutable sign in your chart.  At the same order the eclipse urges you to expand your work or go on a vacation. Having this during retrograde, however, may impose some problems.

When a lunar eclipse occurs, the earth is passing between the Sun and the Moon, creating a Full Moon as we experience every month – but in this case, the alignment is perfect – the auscultation of the Moon complete. The intensity of the Full Moon is great, yet she is totally covered for about an hour by the earth’s shadow. You might even see violet, orange or a possible blue moon. The Sun and Moon are occupying opposite Astrological signs, therefore emphasizing the particular polarity inherent in those signs. During the period of auscultation, the Moon’s supportive light is temporary and we may experience a crisis of need where the particular sort of lack depends universally upon the astrological sign in which the eclipse occurs, and personally upon the natal astrological house (realm of influence), as well as the major aspects made to natal planets.

This eclipse is principally relationship oriented – and our relations with others can be disconnected, defied, or suddenly repaired together as the shock calls one to action. While the moon is in the dualistic sign Gemini, people may never make up their minds.  With the Gemini ease of seeing both sides of everything we feel more flexible, unpredictable and articulate.  It is a good time to write, take care of tasks that resemble mathematical puzzles, make speeches, or just let ideas fly through the clouds.  Academic pursuits and mind games may become more inclined to rationalize emotions.  An extemporaneous language may hastily express things that are only true for the moment.

It is my suggestion to bring out those aspiration papers again and cross off the ones you have already have changed and make new ones.  Also I suggest to purchase a Yellow candle – carve your name on it and anoint it with sandalwood or frankincense oil and chant the following chant: “”I ask to find the inner light of my creativity” I wish for the universe to help me achieve the recognition that I desire.” “I pray that I may find the strength to take chances with my creativity.”  Along with Psalm 7 every night until the next new moon-phase this will be December 13, 2012.

The moon in Gemini tends to be Friendly, Witty, Aware, Rational, and Flighty. The Airy Gemini Moon gives our heart wings of delight… friendly chats, neighborly visits, community interest and a bit of change-your-mindedness….

You may also choose to recite a mantra every morning until the next moon cycle.
