I pondered for many days on how to begin this blog as so many ideas flowed in my head, like water from the facet. This is exactly what Aquarius’ would do. They also do not do anything without a bang. Lights, ambiance, and environmentally driven with a quirky nature having a very close relationship with nature. Therefore, nature brings them the finale; not just any finale but the most brilliantly displayed one.

Behold! The most magnificent present from Mother Nature and the Universe is going void the sky as the sun is way too bright. Perhaps on the 27th some of us can stop running to air conditioned or other cooler areas and watch the sky, sun, and the moon with magic in the air.

Even though this posting was delayed, Guru Purnima and Waso was very important to me as well as going into silence and switching off for a few minutes. Additionally, as Hindus there are limited things we can do during the eclipse and the day of.

While we embrace the ahh moment with our family and friends this summer, the Universe is going to give us pause one more time by gracing us with the most beautiful full moon which will transform into a super blood moon during our last Total Lunar Eclipse of 2018. The cosmos is finally embracing us to finish giving the answers to the questions we had when it was “Almost a lunar eclipse” in 2016 (read about it here). I suppose that the answers must be very important as the super moon is a magnificent delight of endings, and the lunar eclipse also ends things. If I said to any Aquarius this is it and no more eclipses for you for another 8 years would you believe me?

All that can be said for your eclipse is that so many wonderful innovations were brought because of the eclipses in Aquarius. We are in the Age of Aquarius and may stay there for another 2100 years according to some astronomers. Then again, it would be easy to confuse many by saying that Vedas texts (the oldest text in astronomy, mathematics, astrology, and the cosmos) state we are still in the Age of Pisces and will not be moving into Age of Aquarius for another 600 years. Whatever the case may be, whichever belief you have whether Sidereal or Tropical (types of Astrology), it may not matter as much if we could only live in the here and now like Aquarius does.

The beautiful Total Lunar eclipse with the beautiful blood moon will be the longest in a century, perhaps because of the unfinished business in 2016. This will be the eclipse that is also the furthest away for much of all the Oceans, Antarctica, Asia, Australia, Africa and Europe, but not North America. The Penumbra eclipse (the formation) will move west on July 27 at 1:14pm EST and continue to move west from Australia, being visible the entire time. In the meantime, micro moon will be glazing the sky at 4:20pm, at its maximum, thus the eclipse will be at its maximum one minute later, forming a beautiful blood moon. The total time for this eclipse will be 6 and ½ hours.

However, not being gifted to see this eclipse may be a sacred sign as it is told in the Ancient Indian Scriptures (Vedas) that viewing at the eclipse brings bad luck. Hence, I am sure all Aquarian s, and those that have planets in Aquarius, may be saying enough is enough. I promise you, it is enough, and the universe will check back in 8 years.

To review, certain things in life is not a bad thing, as things in life have their own cycles. Just as equally as the name of the Full moon. The most auspicious events will occur in areas of birth, transformation, and rebirth. First will be the birth, brought by nature as simply done as the name of the moon. Native Americans named it the “Bucks Moon” because the is the time when new antlers grow on deer’s forehead. The transformation is of the Waso which is also beginning of Buddhist Lent; it is this day that may Buddhist take on a spiritual path of transformation. Thus, it is said every transformation takes time which is why part of the summer and the beginning of autumn the lent will be observed. The last auspicious event on the 27th will be the celebration of rebirth and thankfulness.

Due to the calculation of the lunar cycle variance between western and eastern culture, Pachanga is used as a calendar of religious events, and as a time table. This means that the 27th day of July marks a date of Guru Purnima. In India and many other Asian countries, gratitude and thankfulness of learning spiritual and scholastic experiences is a blessing, therefore, teachers, priest and those that teach these fields are named “Guru’s.” They bring enlightenment to others by sharing their knowledge and experience to broaden other’s experiences as well. Some celebrate it by adorning the Gurus feet (to mark thankfulness to the Journeys of the Guru), others will fast and pray, and some will hold celebrations.

Beyond the scope of gratitude, birth, rebirth, and transformation, evolution and learning from our past is equally important as this eclipse is very much a relationship-oriented phenomenon. The relationship does not have to be romantic, or a human connection. A relationship can be between local governments, countries, environmental factors, and even worlds. This is going to be equally important for all those that have Aquarius in their chart, including fixed signs (Aquarius, Taurus, Scorpio and Leo’s). It is important to note that the issues of the 2007, and Eclipse in January 2009 when the eclipse was 6 degrees in Aquarius will be highlighted. When the eclipse cycle was over, all was not completely clear. Thus, bringing back the eclipse in August 2016 to complete the answers but something interfered. Now, once and for all, those answers could come to us, but it also means we may have to press the rewind button to not only look at the innovations but the world as a whole as Aquarians are natural humanitarians and geniuses.

The financial issues and fear of the recession continue to have people looking at their finances with a microscope, yet these issues were the same as those which occurred in 2007 and 2009. Now, mitigate factors may be taken into consideration to prevent another Great Depression as occurred in 1930’s. Then again, Uranus was also in Taurus at that time. Could we be protected again or are we not going to pay any attention to these issues?

In technology, Apple came out with the first I-Phone in 2007, and in 2009 technology spurred up to 3G technology. Now we have come a long way, perhaps it will be announced soon that Apple will getting their hands into the pot of autonomous driving cars?

NASA had also made some great advances while launching a craft through the asteroid belt in 2007, then going past Mercury in 2009. Perhaps launching further exploration to the Sun, Mars, and beyond could happen sooner than we think. In 2007 the world’s scientists were trying to find ways to lessen the impact of AIDS and by 2009 they came up with a vaccine, perhaps soon AIDS will be a sickness of the past with quick vaccines? 2007 shed a light to new planets, in 2009 there was a discovery of water on the moon, and today there continues to be controversy about water on mars.

Whether it is financial, health, or innovation, the eclipse in Aquarius will bring something to an end to make room for something brand new. To fully appreciate the potential in the lunar eclipse, we must explore both houses and signs that are brought into play. Where the Moon is – we can provoke our demons, longstanding conducts, and doubts, and where the Sun is we may find the resources to release from whatever bondage we experience in life through our creative efforts. In any event, there are opportunities for deeper understanding and finding a balance in our lives.

This eclipse is chiefly relationship oriented and our connections with others can be cut off, tested, or unexpectedly repaired, as the shock calls one to action. Deny yourself of all outside roles, uncertainties, and unimportant chases, and dive into the deep-sea of light infusing all existence. Like a grain of sand that dissolves in the vast sea, release your individual ego into the infinite embrace of divine consciousness. Breathe in light, breathe out light. Feel the cells of your body become luminous and translucent with the all-pervading glow of God.

Aquarius dynamism has an ordinary predisposition to have objectivity as reflection. The full moon will deepen this – the capacity for showing detachment when connecting to our feelings and those of others is of major importance. To view sensitive situations realistically and analytically is the name of the game. Feelings are unpredictable. Choosing to channel expressive oomph into academic searches – occasionally to numb or spinning agony into desire as an outlet the firm collaboration is their self-gratification. By fostering others and raising their intelligence and nonconformism could transport inquisitiveness back from dimness. A Motherly figure could also arouse rational pursuits, but she may be distant and unemotional.

Between fire (Leo) and air (Aquarius) this time is bound to bring some issues of heat and wind. In this case both fire/air can be great leaders and extremely talented in areas of inspiration and ideas. But this also means that the energy is going to force people to hold themselves accountable if they are a part of a larger group. Often being misunderstood, some may feel as though they can’t trust them. Therefore, being trustworthy is going support the creativity and leadership roles which both characters need. According to Pachanga, as mentioned earlier, the calendar is based upon the moon rather than the sun. This is where sidereal and tropical philosophies differ. The Hindu calendar is based upon seasons, therefore, the first day is really in April as they celebrate their new year in April. Also, it is the year 2074 according to the system of calendar as well as this eclipse being in Capricorn not Aquarius. The calculation is also based upon 29.5 days per month without fluctuation. But constant is what many of us are seeking after the dramas, unnecessary shootings, and other political covertness. Additionally, due to the Vedas and Panchag, the effects are midstream therefore expect issues related to water damage, earth plates moving due to quakes, mudslides, or tsunamis. With Mercury retrograde in the mix there may even be issues with electronics of all kinds.

It is vitally important to understand the predictions listed below are based on VPAT predispositions not Western or Eastern Astrology. The calculation and predetermination derive from name (characteristic) from each label (sign). There will be many that will be affected by this eclipse, the retrogrades of 3 planets, as well as Uranus. Therefore, I will be focusing on those for whom this eclipse will be most intense. As usual, eclipses come in pairs, however, this year there 5 eclipses and thus, Aquarius is finishing their journey from 2016. Fortunately for them there will not be any more chaotic issues for another 8 years. Use it well dear Aquarius.

Aquarius, Capricorn, Cancer, Leo & Gemini

Dearest Aquarius, you have been going through transformations after another as the eclipses in the Summer of 2016 may have caused you hiccups. Thereafter, it seemed during every summer (summer/fall of 2017, spring/summer of 2018) almost every aspect from health, relationships, and work situations have been on the edge. Now, the universe is asking what you have learned from all this. Whatever happens in the next 6 months is the test of your consciousness and how well you will handle your affairs. Unlike Aquarius, Dear Capricorn you may have felt as though someone is choking you. You currently have several transits that are forcing you to look at your past actions. First and foremost, according to VPAT this is your eclipse and something will definitely end to make room for something new. But the transiting Pluto, according to Western astrology, has been in your sign since very late 2007 and will continue to be there until 2024. Additionally, Ketu which causes you to feel restricted over circumstances, has another 6 more months in your sign, thus you may be feeling as though nothing can go right. However, you may be much stronger than a Cancer, who just began the series of eclipses while sitting on the beach all this time sipping tropical drinks. Anything that could go wrong might be as Mercury retrograde will cause some confusion for them. The eclipse two weeks ago is bringing them a present or two but it will take some hard work on their part. But hard work is nothing to a Leo as they have been pounded by Saturn holding their hands with a Sagittarius. Nevertheless, the eclipses continue to transform them until the winter of 2019 then at least they can have some relief. Hence, while others may feel the tension of the eclipses and Mercury, Gemini’s thought they were out of the loop, however, VPAT always uses the points of the moon to predict the eclipses. This means that the last eclipse was a Gemini/Cancer eclipse, therefore both of them were in play. Adding to this is Mercury retrograde that always causes trouble three to four times a year.

Aquarius: As this is your last eclipse, one thing that you must understand that nothing in this life is perfect, nor will it ever be. This eclipse is as powerful as it can be, not only the strength of the full moon but the intensity of the total solar eclipse may cause you to feel like you’re on fire. One of the areas of change that must be taken into consideration is that you must continue to watch your health. You are going to have to change how you perceive life in general as all the stresses and challenges will show you that an outlet is necessary. On the other hand, it will be a time where relationship decisions are finally made; whether it is worth keeping or leaving. If you have not put all your passion and hard work into your career or occupation, be ready for a change as the universe will only deliver happiness where you have focus and passion.

Motto for Aquarius: Whatever efforts you have put out there in areas of career and opportunities is exactly what you will get back, good or bad.

Capricorn: Your changes have been earth shattering, almost as if someone is recreating you. This is also not the easiest eclipse for you. Negative thinking, anger, and annoyance will cause you to pour many of these into areas of your health. You may need to revisit your financial situation. This is not a time for financial investments nor will you be able to save for too long. It is high time now to pay off your debts, both financial and karmic, as the stresses can cause problems.

Motto for Capricorn: Being true to yourself, your family, and your work will reduce the unnecessary tension. Anything done covertly will cause separation of work and relationships.

Cancer: The eclipse a few weeks ago has put you on a voyage of discovery and transformation. Remember that for every one negative, two positives will always come. If you want to be loved then you must do what you can to show love, however, you may become so irritated that you may push away people that love you the most. Your lack of confidence and negativity may cause health issues, but this is a time to look for new career or creative opportunities. Mind your P&Q’s in public as you may feel disrespected.

Motto for Cancer: Being around negative situations or negative people will cause you to be negative, eventually causing you anxiety and restlessness. Find people that make you laugh.

Leo: I can literally say you have been through a lot, but you are a trooper. Your life has been ups and down like a roller coaster. Stay focused dear Leo, because when you are not looking someone may take an advantage of you. Watch what you say at work as conflicts in the workplace are possible. Unforeseen expenses are possible and you have much spiritual traveling to do. But while you are traveling and with unnecessary stress your health may decline.

Motto for Leo: Be who you are and be passionate about what you do as you will be rewarded for bringing passion and happiness to others.

Gemini: Sometimes, you may think even though you have a fast-paced life that you will be fine, however, changes must happen and something should give. Financial strains are possible and perhaps what you do for living may not bring you enough financial stability. Being in a hurry may cause accidents and injuries. This is because you may be too busy to take care of yourself and your spirituality. You might decide to further your education, but at the same time, going back and forth between spirituality and religion may cause you to have restlessness. This may cause you to have minor infections of the sinuses or ears.

Motto for Gemini: If you are too busy for unconditional love of family and friends then you will receive everything you give, good and bad. Make your choices count and do not settle.

Sagittarius, Taurus, Libra and Scorpio

Dear Sagittarius, I understand that you may want to believe that Saturn is not affecting you because everyone has told you so, but remember Saturn transit is a full 7 to 8-year transit as it must move through every sign in your chart. However, Saturn has brought you some gifts too, perhaps moving, marriage, or a new job; even if it meant that it was tough getting there. According to VPAT, Saturn has moved into Scorpio for one more lesson and will come back at you in October, so you must be well prepared. But this does not mean you do not feel things around you. This is exactly what Taurus cannot handle, which is inconsistency in any area of their lives; perhaps you can teach them Sagittarius. Hence, expecting the unexpected in areas of money is not a good thing for even you when Uranus is in Taurus for a long haul. However, Libras have been enjoying Jupiter so much that they could not handle it when it was retrograde. Jupiter finally began to bring joy to Libras on July 15, 2018, therefore, bringing things back to normal will take a while; but they must hurry up as Jupiter leaves in October to go into Scorpio. Nevertheless, this does not make it all good for Scorpios, perhaps when Saturn moves away for good and Jupiter gives them delight they may be happy but that is still three months away and this eclipse will not allow Scorpios not to transcend as they are the Phoenix.

Sagittarius: Sometimes down time is not a bad thing. But if there is not enough activity, then you may become bored too quickly. Remember, whatever you may have done in the past, those conflicts are coming to face you now, as this may cause problems in areas of finances and personal relationships. Avoid overstating things and being melodramatic as it may cause you unnecessary arguments with people that count in your life. Be careful of unnecessary spending. You may finally overcome binging allowing you to stay focused on your health.

Motto for Sagittarius: Sometimes being in the spotlight is not always a good thing. Silence is a virtue, especially if you want respect and honor from others.

Taurus: Right now things may be confusing, in one hand you may want a love to sweep you off your feet, but on the other hand, you want all the finer things in life. Life, however, does not always work that way. You will soon have the energy to finish tasks and perhaps even have time to make some strides in areas of relationships. If you are single make sure you keep your options open rather than dwelling on the past. There may even be time for you to pursue some extra training or education. If you don’t eat right and take care of yourself, then you have the possibility of viral infections. Be careful in written communication.

Motto for Taurus: Not everyone is like you and if you do not want it done to you then don’t do it to others.

Libra: I know that you got used to Jupiter giving you what you want and life has had its ups and downs. I wish I could say that this eclipse will end those fluctuations, especially in areas of interpersonal relationships. Stop comparing the past and shutting out people that may be attracted to you. However, you have an ongoing restlessness. You may want new opportunities but now the doors may be closed only because you must perfect what you have and family issues will continue to hamper you. The stressors could cause you digestive and allergic issues.

Motto for Libra: Kindness, especially to those younger than you, does not mean you are weak, rather, you will understand yourself better through the reflection of a mirror.

Scorpio: Your Saturn is almost at the end, so if you are feeling blah again its only because it retrograded back to your sign one last time. It will go away, I promise, by the time your birthday comes around and won’t be back for a while. Use these months to focus on new education, religious and spiritual philosophies, and your career. You may meet new people that may assist you later to boost progress in your career. Family issues are still present, as are possible irritations from children.

Motto Scorpio: Give to only those that deserve your kindness, especially living in the honorable life, even if you don’t get support.

Minor Tension

Pisces, Aries, and Virgo

Dearest Pisces, even if the eclipses have crossed you and won’t be back until 2024, this does not mean that you would not be indirectly affected by the cosmos through Mercury retrograde, and other planetary influences. After all you are closest to God energy as they come. This is why you are a emotional sponge. Too bad you cannot learn to fight like Aries. Then again Aries just got released from the shackles of Uranus now they are being tied down by Saturn in Sagittarius. Perhaps you should learn from your fellow Virgos, they do not have any eclipses in formation, there are no major planets causing issues but mercury retrograde. But I don’t know if you want to really learn from them, as they worry and have a lot of pessimism but strong as anything.

Pisces: This is the time to put on that work hat and start to make business plans. You should see some financial gains now. But it means hard work and proper planning. However, you become too relaxed you will have some interpersonal relationship issues, family issues as well as worrying about younger ones in your family. Mind your tongue as whatever you say in public will be used against you.

Motto for Pisces: Conflicts are contagious; the more I create them the more I will have disappointments.

Aries: Its OK if life is not 100% but slowly it will get better. Remember Saturn is not to be hated but must respected as a teacher. But this does not mean you should create unnecessary tiffs with family, associates and co-workers. Financial issues may cause worries, however, if you stay focus you may continue and maintaining your job. But you won’t be without worries or even anxieties.

Motto for Aries: Appreciate what you have rather than having everyone else pay for your frustrations.

Virgo: So, you are last on the list. It must make you feel a little better. But mercury retrograde always causes you confusion and unnecessary worries. Focusing on higher education or advancing in studies may take up your time. Your ideas will change and expand therefore, the way you understand patterns will also therefore, being more lenient towards criticizers and adversaries. You will now be given energy to break bad habits and really think about advancements. Stress and lack of sleep may cause you to become agitated.

Motto for Virgo: Nothing is as self-gratifying until you reach your perfection.

During the Lunar Eclipse we must power ourselves to perceive life in transformed individuals. It is suggested to scribe objectives to:” I need sustenance in creating anything I imagine and control to manifest happiness totally during this time. I want the knowledge to appreciate love and have the skill to engross in a optimistic setting of my choice. I need vibrant conception of my goals and the pathway I should be on.”

Since the moon in Aquarius represents Defiant, Unforgiving, Articulate, Friendly, and Impetuous, it is my recommendation for us to continue to be constant. This full moon is bewildering to many signs. Though the lunar eclipse cannot be seen by the human eye it will be touched through lowest point of many people. It is also the last eclipse in Aquarius.

It is my suggestion that you purchase two candles, orange and orchid, and carve your name through to the wick. Anoint the candles with orange oil and orchid oil respectively, and chant the Psalm 51.

When it comes to finding satisfying relationships, it is of the greatest importance to begin with a clear understanding of what your goal should be. The mantras can be hard to pronounce for many but are a powerful source of energy. The mantra for Lunar Eclipse is

Lunar eclipse mantra should be chanted 51 times daily especially first thing in the morning. Usually Mala beads or rosary beads assist in the count. This mantra will especially powerful for those that have Capricorn and Aquarius in their chart and will continue in the healing process until the intense energy begins to be lifted in the spring of 2019.

Of all the eclipses this will be one of the most crucial eclipse, it will bring changes to almost everyone. This is also a relationship oriented eclipse there for there could be breakups, unresolved issues, inability to let go of the past as well as deceptions or divorce

I recommend all those that will be affected by this eclipse take a spiritual bath within hours of the full moon, and the eclipse as well, and to properly dispose of their prior notes.

The Total Lunar Eclipse in Leo has now passed us and as I’ve written in a previous blog, “Remember things that happen within the 3-week period during and after the eclipse usually have long lifelong effect. If the eclipse happens on your sun it will have a great influence on your life, but if there is a clash it may be problematic for 6 months.” (Read more here)

This can only mean that some of you may have felt the effects of the Solar eclipse during the lunar eclipse as it was so powerful. We are already saddened by issues of “Security and well-being” (read more here) as the flu epidemic and tax reform continues to set fear and uncertainties in our lives.

This eclipse is the latest in a series of eclipses which began in August 2016. Therefore, here we are again to call this eclipse “Back to the Future II.” Not only is this eclipse a new moon, but paired with the partial solar eclipse it will be equally significant.

I always encourage everyone to understand that every eclipse will be significantly felt 7 days before and 7 days after the eclipse; however, for some this affect could last up to 6 months. Therefore, the abyss of the past, and the future energized by the sun through the solar eclipse, are the seeds planted by the moon. Keep a close eye on the things to come as every eclipse will be changing humanity and its environmental intensity as I stated in my predictive blog of 2018 (read about it here).

One of the most positive things I can say, besides all the wonders of the eclipse, is that the U.S. will not be impacted by this eclipse. According to VPAT (Vedic Philosophical Ayurveda Theories), those countries that can view the eclipse would be impacted more than those which cannot. Those countries and areas will be affected by things that occur in the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans, Antarctica, Uruguay, Paraguay, Chile, Argentina, and the southern coast of South America.

One of the rarest phenomena is that this new moon is also called a Black Moon Month. I had stated in my Lunar eclipse blog, “There are no full moons in February” (read about it here). This defines the month as the shortest lunar month. Further scientific theories state that with two new moons in a month, the second moon considered to be black; this is also the case when there are four new moons in a season.

There were a few black moons that I can recall, but the energy felt from this black moon will be close to the February 18, 2015 black moon as at that time the moon was in also in Aquarius (read more here).

Without going into any more scientific facts, the partial solar eclipse will begin at approximately 1:55 pm EST and 18:55 UTC in the Pacific Ocean on February 15 UTC. The eclipse will then gradually move to the maximum eclipse at 3:51 pm EST and 20:51 UTC. Since this is a partial eclipse it will not cover the entire sun, thus will look like a crescent. At 4:05 pm EST & 1:05 pm PST the moon will go void as it enters 27 degrees in Aquarius. The partial eclipse will end at 5:47 pm EST and 22:47 UTC. Though this is rather a simple partial eclipse, the emotional ties to this eclipse will be felt for months as this is a replication of an eclipse that has occurred at the same degree.

On February 16, 1999, we had an Annular Solar Eclipse in Aquarius at the same exact degree. This could only mean that issues occurring in 1999 may resurface. So back to the future we go.

Whether it is a solar or a lunar eclipse, the energy of the eclipse will be felt 7 – 15 days before and after. However, the transformation could continue for 6 months into the future. If we were to recall the history of February 1999; in politics, the 2nd week of February, the 42nd U.S. President Bill Clinton was acquitted of impeachment by the senate, and in health, genetically modified food was claimed to have negative impact on human health. Corruption scandals in the International Olympic committee caused members to be excused. The Columbine shooting in April killed 13 children. The West Niles Virus impacted the United States. The Y2k scare caused many companies to hire consultants for their patches. And Star Wars Episode I debuted.

The most crucial part of first six months of 1999 was the number of Tornadoes that claimed the lives of many in the United States. Then again, some history has already repeated. In January 1999, from January 1-10 a North American Blizzard claimed the lives of over 72 people and cost over 400 million; and in 2018, the American Blizzard was renamed “bomb cyclone.” The blizzard brought snow and fringed weather patterns to places that have not seen this type of weather in a long time.

If we are repeating 1999 patterns, then I am predicting that several Hurricanes are due this fall; starting in August and going forward to November/December, 2018. Additionally, more secrets will be revealed and issues of taxes, money, and corporate scandals are possible. This is due to the magnificent effects of Saturn in Sagittarius, who only wants the truth, Jupiter in Libra who wants balance, and Rahu and Ketu, the punishers of past karma. I can only anticipate that globally, we can plant some positive seeds this eclipse with the black moon and the new moon in Aquarius.

Aquarius moon signifies the accommodating awareness, social mindfulness, and thorough measures. It is about what you can do by yourself; individuality and distinctiveness will liberate those that have been surrounded by other people’s ideas. This new moon asks us to reconsider everything and find a different way to heal, visualize your life contrarily, and how as a collective society we can collaborate. Specifically, it asks us to imagine how we will bond together to mend old wounds and live by ideologies rather than emotions.

The new moon is the energy to look at everything in a new perception and take risks where everything is likely. The Aquarius moon’s chief focus is on doing things which are group connected, whether they are big plans or small things such as shopping. Every group movement will be holy during this new moon. The new moon reassures you to take any risk, take hold of every day, and look at the desires and prospects available to everyone. But it especially blesses Aquarius to start over.

Aquarius is a sign of emotional detachment. Often, these people tend to remain neutral to almost everything because everything in their eyes has a reason. This is time to do things that require the collective mind, nurture your friends, and remain objective. The energy is just right to channel logical pursuits. You will find yourself most satisfied being around friends, and their company may satisfy the emotional voids felt by letting go of things. Through gratitude and being nostalgic there is a great care of fostering and fairness.

Unlike Western astrology, VPAT ideology claims that Saturn rules Aquarius; this means almost every Aquarian will have obstacles in their lives. Nevertheless, it gives a boost as well. The sensibility and reactive actions may come in such a way that many individuals have a liberal mind, concentrated analyzing, aloofness, and humanitarianism, but this comes with a price. Due to the nature of Aquarius energy, justice and fairness may not always be readily available as Aquarians’ are quite demanding when it comes to personal and professional relationships.

Those that are Aquarius, or have any houses in Aquarius, including fixed signs (Scorpio, Leo, and Taurus) may become detached emotionally. It is suggesting that nurturing friends, remaining objective, and doing things with a world view manner may be helpful.

New moon in Aquarius is about uncertainties in our lives and to obtain stability through balanced thinking. Aquarius dynamism often grounds us to be reserved which can lead to isolation or feeling alone, but once we realize that entertaining, making changes, and being repeatedly sympathetic lessens the severity.

This eclipse, along with the energy of the moon, could cause positives and negatives; however, the aspects of Rahu and Ketu, the unexpected teachers of karma and past life, will cause discomfort.

Due to the lunar eclipse in Leo and Solar Eclipse in Aquarius, Saturn in Sagittarius, Uranus moving into Taurus, and Ketu/Rahu in Cancer/Capricorn, those affected by the eclipse will be emphasized. Please remember, just because the lunar eclipse is not in your sign this does not mean you will not be affected. The best way to define how the eclipse will affect you is to have a VPAT chart done. The below are predispositions, not to be used as exact occurrences (though I have been told it seems to clearly affect the characteristics).

Fixed Signs

The Solar eclipse will bring something new for you, dear Aquarius. I know the feeling of being lethargic and itching for a change, and trust me when I say it’s almost over, I promise. Let’s just say that this fall will be the ending of your eclipse cycle until 2027, so take a breather. Taurus however, will rock the planet of Uranus and expect the unexpected in finances and lots of worries. Leo, you are not out of the woods just yet, now that you have gone through your own eclipses and Jupiter was in your sign not too long ago. You are now being questioned about how well you learned everything. Saturn being in Sagittarius makes continual changes for you by association of fire signs. Scorpio, unless you have lots of Libra, Cancer, or fire in your chart, this should be a smooth ride for you. You have been pounded by Saturn for a while and soon Jupiter will move into Scorpio.

Aquarius: The Lunar eclipse in Leo may have caused some relationship issues for you; perhaps an associate is disconnecting themselves from you. The consideration here is how much of it is your fault. Now the time comes that you must look at how you are budgeting your finances and your feelings. It is also a time to look at how much you have saved and how much your family has saved. But consideration must be emphasized in areas of habits and how they affect your life in general. Be careful with your injuries below the nose, i.e. mouth, throat, nails, teeth, or even the nose. One of the most significant above the nose will be your eyes. Even though others could have minor injuries, eyes could have sustained issues.

Saturn: Good financial outlook and new opportunities
Rahu: Courage with an outlook of overcoming challenges improves
Ketu: Possible separations, headaches, and over spending secretly
Jupiter: Work challenges, health declining, perseverance is the key

Taurus: No matter how pivotal previous years were, you will remember 2018. This is a brand-new person; everything from your belief to who you are, including relationships, will change for you. Uranus, a planet of change, will rock your world like no other until 2026. The Lunar eclipse made you focus on your home, now the Solar eclipse is having you analyze your life. You may consider your profession, work, ambition, determination, or finances, but most of all I would not be surprised if you became a workaholic.

Saturn: Unpredictable losses and health issues
Rahu: Change in career or advancements
Ketu: Indulgence in religion and long-distance travel
Jupiter: Relationships of all kinds could get better, but all decisions must be analyzed thoroughly

Leo: Even though you may not be a Sagittarius, by association many things that occur with Saturn in Sagittarius i.e. education, work, and family may be important issues for you now. But certainly, this eclipse may be a positive phase for you. Every relationship from business to personal will be in focus for you, as you just ended cycle of what does not work in your personality. This eclipse will have you focus on everything you are looking for and everything you are not getting in areas of relationships.

Scorpio: You have just passed a very heavy Saturn and as you ease out of it things may still seem difficult for you. The Lunar Eclipse may have caused you to reconsider your life, who you want to be, and what you want to do. You may have cut ties with clients, or ended a job or project. Perhaps it’s the best for you to bring less tension in your life. Those projects, clients, and assignments that stay are meant for you. Mutable Signs

As Saturn in Sagittarius continues to transform all fire signs including Sagittarius, we must look at the world as an ever-changing evolution. This is nothing unfamiliar to Geminis as this year we will have 4 Mercury retrogrades and they too will evolve like their fellow brothers and sisters (Aquarius). Virgos have now completed their Eclipse and Jupiter, but they will be affected by Uranus moving into Taurus and maybe highly concerned about money coming and going. Fortunately for you dear Pisces, you may just sit back and be in your own little world as Neptune continues to be in Pisces for some time. We will tell you when to wake up.

Sagittarius: Its true Saturn does not have to be your enemy, it can be your friend. With the Lunar eclipse in Leo, your focus may have been on legal issues and higher learning. Now it’s time to think about your roots. Mentally, this eclipse has a lot to offer to you, including being at peace. You are now ready to build a place that you call “home” where love, compassion, and understanding can be formed.

Gemini: Though the last eclipse was just up your alley, through socialization, communication, and networking, it’s time now to change directions. Now is the time to apply the ultimate truth which is that connection between you and the higher power. But don’t get frustrated too easily as Mercury will come and bother you this spring and fall.

Virgo: You have gone through your share of high highs and low lows. People, including yourself, may be questioning if you are bi-polar. Cardinal Signs

You must be feeling a little giddy now, dear Aries, as Uranus will soon move away from your sign. Nothing unexpected is going to happen. However, Saturn in Sagittarius will continue to put hardship on you, along with the Leo eclipses. At this time, you may wish you were more like Libra who is about to shine bright being that Jupiter is in their sign (according to VPAT) for some time. However, Cancer is about to chew some of their nails off because the series of eclipses is soon to enter their sign, and of course, Rahu/Ketu along with Capricorn is not helping. Then again, no one has it worse than Capricorn as they transform due to the Uranus and Rahu/Ketu changes. So, breathe.

Aries: I am sure that you may feel by now everything is coming together. But is it? With Uranus in your house for so long you may have felt everything was happening quickly and suddenly. But it did give you a chance to reconsider your relationships, family, and your home. This eclipse will assist you in reconsidering your friends. You also may be reconsidering how you make a living, along with what has been successful for you and what has not.

Rahu: Increase in your expenditures and possible relocation
Ketu: Inability to focus and change of jobs

Libra: The crazy eclipses are behind you and now you are glorified with Jupiter. You should not be feeling that bad. But perhaps you did previously as you disconnected yourself from people who thought they were your friends or something you used to do. But now you must get your health and career back on track. This is the time to plant those seeds as needed.

Saturn: Increase in travel and disputes with family members

Cancer: While you were sipping on pina colada’s for some time, did you think it would last forever? Remember that Rahu/Ketu is about death and rebirth, karma, and paying it forward. The eclipse in Leo could have caused you to lose, or end, a specific type of career you used to do and now it is about paying back karma. Expect the unexpected on the positive side; it is about curing or finding a solution to ongoing issues i.e. health or financial areas.

Capricorn: You may naturally worry like your sibling Virgo; you have every right to do so. Rahu/Ketu transit, with Pluto and now Uranus, your head may be spinning like crazy. You may have ended a project or the additional income that may have been coming in has stopped. It also has to do with past karma pay back. Now, you must reconsider how you communicate with people and how it effects your work life.

Ketu: Stress, detachment, and negative thinking
Jupiter: Increase in finances and an addition to your family

Remember, this is the exact opposite to the eclipse in August 2017. However, the world will go through significant changes until Saturn really moves away from Sagittarius. My predictions for this eclipse are about paying back karma. As women and the deprived will rise up to regain their personal power back. Many major industries that keep the world and countries in order could go through a period of “Cleaning house” i.e. administrations, large corporations, education, and anything that does not work will be destroyed or gone one day soon.

Natural disasters such as earthquakes, volcanoes, fires, floods, and water related issues are possible. Financial falls and continued stock market declines are possible to bring balance between the haves and have nots. Conflicts and financial instabilities are possible starting in May.

Since moon in Aquarius represents Defiant, Unforgiving, Clear, Hospitable, and Unpredictable, it is my recommendation for us to remain well-adjusted during this energy. This new moon is unusual to many astrological signs. It is my recommendation that you purchase an orange candle and carve your name through to the wick. Anoint the candle with lavender oil or sage oil and chant the Psalm 51. You may also choose to recite a mantra every morning until the next eclipse.

The purpose of this mantra is to foster steadiness on your pathway in life by helping you realize the teachings you have set for yourself and through karma, pessimism will be overcome.

As with every moon cycle, remember to cross out the old affirmations, even if there is the slightest change, and create new ones. The perfect number for aspiration is 10. This means to list 10 aspirations and recite them every night until the next moon cycle. Also remember to never make the affirmations begin with “I want”, they must be worded “I need to be shown how to retain”.

What a delight! After all the craziness of spring and summer, perhaps the universe is finally giving humanity a gift. There is a sense of delight in the air, even if VPAT (Vedic Philosophical Ayurvedic Theories) state otherwise.

On August 7/8, there will be three beautiful celestial events, perhaps by name or by culture, but they are just as rich in culture as they are in name. Maybe this is why the names of the moons were also unique, depending upon the region. In the Northern hemisphere, the August Full moon is referred to as the Green Corn Moon and in the Southern hemisphere, the Storm Moon. This is naturally so, due to the massive rain and thunder that Mother Nature provides during the last days of summer.

I spoke about this celestial event in my predictive blog of 2017 as being the beginning of something new. On August 07, 2017, the Penumbral Eclipse begins at 11:50 EST and 8:50 PST. Though I would like to say that the United States will be able to view this eclipse, it may be a bit difficult. This time around, most of Europe, Asia, Australia, Africa, South America and those who live close to the shores of the Pacific, Atlantic and the Indian Oceans, will be able to view this marvelous unification.

The partial eclipse occurs when the moon is full and when the sun, earth and moon are almost in a straight line; however, when it is a partial eclipse it never reaches a perfectly straight line. Instead, a minor portion of the moon is shielded by the obscurest part of the earth’s sleuth (the scientific name is umbra). Partial eclipse will begin at 1:22pm EST / 10:22am PST.

As the beautiful celestial moon begins to form at 2:10pm EST and 11:10am PST, the eclipse reaches its maximum eclipse at 2:20pm EST and 11:20am PST. Full moon in Aquarius will be luminous and stunning at 15 degrees, depending upon the orb, on the Leo-Aquarius axis. The brilliance of this moon can be seen as soon as 2:10 EST. This will be the last full moon in Aquarius this year, so clinch and inhale. The closest we came to this degree of moon was on August 9, 2006 when there was also a full moon in Aquarius, but at 16 degrees. VPAT states that sometimes when the orb is this close, the energy often recalls issues similar to those that occurred during the time of the last occurrence.

Maximum eclipse moves through the atmosphere until it finally begins to revert back into partial eclipse again at 3:18pm EST and 12:18pm PST. This will lessen the intensity for humanity about one hour later when Penumbral eclipse ends at 4:50pm EST and 1:50pm PST. The eclipse on August 07, 2017 transpires in Aquarius, the free energetic Aquarius whom will have surprise affected. This eclipse will also affect people with fixed signs strong in their charts (the fixed signs are Taurus, Leo, Scorpio and Aquarius).

This time definitely recalls, to some degree, unresolved business/issues/dilemmas which occurred in the fall of 1998 to spring of 2000, Fall of 2008 to Spring of 2009, and Fall of last year. This is NOT the end of a cycle, but rather, a new beginning. It sets the stage for important lessons involved with reaching, recognizing, working towards individual influence, and how to use this energy, applying it to leadership and authoritative abilities. The supreme leadership abilities with the highest bliss on a collective, and social service to the world would be considered part of the Leo/Aquarius Axis. But it will also be substantial transformation in the course of concerns concentrating on home, family, and health. There could be a possibility that relationships could end, families drift apart, or family functionality may somehow alter.

Besides the Eclipse, and a full moon, it is one of the most beautiful auspicious days in the Hindu calendar next to Dwali. Based on the Hindu Lunar Calendar, Raksha Bandhan, also known as Rakhi Day, is the traditional day of love and celebration between brothers and sisters. Now any woman who looks up to a man as her brother, be it a neighbor, friend, cousin, or even a co-worker, is a part of the celebration.

The legend of Rakshandan has been depicted in the ancient historic writings of the Mahabhrata. When Lord Krishna hurt his finger during an epic battle against evil, his sister ripped a fabric from her Sari and tied it around his hand. In return, Krishna vowed to protect her as long as he lived. This tradition was carried forward by many other emperors during the B.C era. Additionally, the brother must come to the sister’s home and she must do Arti (bless him) and tie a Rakhi then he must promise to protect her. For fun he is supposed to give her money; becoming more fun when she says it’s not enough and complains.

Fixed signs (Aquarius, Leo, Taurus, and Scorpio), and those who have houses in these signs on your VPAT chart, go back to what happened to you around to the dates given; take a good look as it’s time to re-live it and make sure that you do not make the same mistakes again. It may be possible that you may relive it anyway as Mercury Retrograde may force it upon you (Read more about it here).

Persons with fixed signs (Leo, Scorpio, Taurus and Aquarius) will have complications splitting opinions from emotions and identifying that somebody or something is not what it seems. Things are all self-perception or an illusion somewhat more than a passionate obligation. These individuals resolve to be preoccupied doing things that affect their happiness or are in pursuit of their hunger; all the while wasting their talents and having a tug of war between their heart and their goals.

The full moon in Aquarius will be luminous and stunning at 15 degrees, depending upon the orb, on the Leo-Aquarius axis. The brilliance of this moon can be seen at 2:10 EST, 11:10PST. This will be the last full moon in Aquarius this year so clinch and inhale. The closest we came to this degree of moon was in August 9, 2006 when there was also a full moon in Aquarius but at 16 degrees.

With Moon in Aquarius, people are prone to have an emotional coldness – a flair for impartiality concerning their own and others’ feelings. Their opinion would be sensitive to any situation whether rationally or scientifically. Many approaches may come up unpredictably. Preferring to channel sentimental energy into intellectual pursuits to subdue pain- whereas, the company of friends is an outlet for passionate satisfaction.

When the Moon is full, the force of the moon on one side of the earth and the Sun on the other side generates an unsteady magnetism. This heaviness enhances problems due to our physical structure which consists of 80% water. Consequently, this distresses humans as well as the atmosphere of the earth. There is a good chance to hear about issues of water overflows such as hurricanes, flooding rivers, and even tornadoes that involve water. These issues could last up to 6 months.

The eclipse energy is just like the full moon energy. Some people will begin to feel it 5 to 7 days before it occurs. However, due to all the planets, I would not be surprised if many did not feel it as early as July 21 forwards when Mercury began to move into Leo. Things may have caused some confusion within the family, where one side wanted freedom the other side wanted structure.

An eclipse intensifies full moon purpose which is mostly about conclusions, departing stages in one’s life, and the final end. For each climax, there confidently will be a new start. While it may be challenging, an adjustment is desirable for the healthier environment. This affect can be escalating for those who have the sun, moon, or any houses in Aquarius.

Those that were born February 04 through 09, or five days before or after, will feel this energy like no other. There is no hesitation that this vitality generates an internal pull, a sensation of totality, and may aid one to join substantially with others. All converts fragile and more powerful under the grace of the full moon – hunger and dignity can become overblown, and there is more consciousness and emphasis on relationships.

Lunar eclipses frequently impact relationships due to the push and pull of the sun and the moon along with the pressure. They often convey a message of conclusiveness, or obvious circumstances, to the area where the eclipse is placed, in this case (Aquarius). Eclipse’s often eliminates things out of people’s lives so that it fits the circumstances of the current standings. If it be a relationship, a home, career or a place one lives, if it is outdated or has no purpose it is time to let go. This can be difficult; thus, this is why the eclipse is here – to walk through the difficulties and to embrace the Supreme Being that the universe has made. Once the process is embraced, whatever is left is meant to be and other stuff will fall by the wayside.

This eclipse is predominantly relationship oriented and our influences with others can be detached, tested, or unexpectedly repaired towards calm as the jolt calls one to action. To completely raise the value of the prospective in the lunar eclipse, we commit to discover, equally, houses and signs combined. It is recommended to examine your VPAT (Vedic Philosophical Ayurvedic Theoretical Chart) and notice the placement of the moon; this is called Ketu (our demons, old habits and fears) and the sun placement Rahu (release from whatever bondage we experience in life through our creative efforts, better known as afterlife). Where action causes a reaction causing conflict, humanities free will can cause conflicts and desiccate it as well.

I will begin with the characteristics that will be affected the most.

Fixed Signs

Aquarius, Leo, Taurus, and Scorpio

Aquarius: You will find that your career life may improve; however, you may lose your patience with family members. If you decide to go on any trip, it will be beneficial for you. You may decide that your behavior and opinion of yourself needs a transformation. Due to emotional connections and disturbances it may take a toll on your health. There also may be consideration of redefining principles, self-respect, and happiness. Be careful with the upper part of your face if you are accident prone.

Leo: Unnecessary worries may be a waste of time as most of your wishes will be granted. Be sure to read every document as Mercury retrograde and the eclipse may cause fuzziness for you. Financial gains are possible; however, be careful with investments and your health, which is getting better. If travelling, make sure to view everything with caution. There may be trouble in paradise if you are in a relationship; if there is stability then there will be a deeper commitment. Now is the time to reconsider your relationship, looking at the physical and mental disposition of the other to see if they meet your expectation.

Taurus: You may have to relearn how to control pressure, as you will have work overload. There may be financial losses if there were financial investments in the past that were not secure and the worries will be overwhelming. There may be plenty of temptations. Professionally, things may be good, and while there is a possibility of diving into spirituality and meta-philosophy in your domestic life, job responsibilities must come first. Consideration and re-consideration of career where there is appreciation may be overdue.

Scorpio: There are possibilities of family disagreements. Finances will be stable with no growth, but there are plenty of expenses, and if you happen to travel during that time you may become lethargic. There may be deep thought of where you want to live or the type of place you would like to have, what type of education you should have, and your future.

Mutable Signs

Gemini, Sagittarius, Virgo and Pisces

Gemini: Things may not be as consistent as you are used to, especially in areas of work. Do not take anything emotionally or personally. There are tendencies of a lack of support and you may be forced to do things by yourself. Due to stress, you may have a cold or minor influenza. There may be plans to travel long distances or possibilities of going back to school. Your views of religion or philosophies may once again change. There will be deeper thought about religious outlook, a father figure, visions, and dreams.

Sagittarius: There is a possibility that things will begin to sync again. Endurance is going to be tested while any property related matters should be postponed as long as possible. Due to mental stress from things out of your control there may be minor colds or ear infections. You may consider purchasing electronics, learning something new, and doing what you can to keep lines of communication open. Short trips will beneficial to the soul. Reconsideration of relationships between siblings, where one resides, and how efficient one is in regard to completing things will be the focus.

Virgo: Improvement in your career is possible with new duties due to the blessings of Jupiter. You have all that you need to fix and collaborate on any issues in the workplace. However, you will now see your enemies without a mask and you will fear them, but now it’s time to teach them a lesson with your own weapons. Be careful of public humiliation. Stress may cause a fever or cold, and eat at home as much as possible. You will now reconsider the type of employee you are or the ones that work under you, debts you have, and any enemies along with why they are so.

Pisces: Be careful, your words may cut people like a knife; as I always say, words can never be taken back. Financial stability is on its way. It’s best to plan first, then explain. Family life is going to be exceptional but spending time with friends may be difficult. Your enemies are near and you may even see them. Be careful while traveling, making sure to take plenty of rest afterwards. Anything that was causing you problems physically will soon end. You are prone to reconsider legal issues, your relationships, success, and your reputation.

Cardinal Signs

Libra, Aries, Cancer and Capricorn

Libra: You may feel that to obtain your goals you must work diligently, and your work ethics and reputation will rise. Consider options and the advice of others prior to resolving any vital dilemma or making judgments. Financially things will be status quo however, stress may continue and this may cause to splurge to dine out which could cause food poisoning. Relationships may be tested at this time. There is a possibility of reconsidering your love life, scruples, education, desire, and what you find stimulating.

Aries: There is a possibility of irritation at work due to lack of recognition from upper management. There is a possibility of financial gains through investments but make those investments wisely and don’t do them on a “get rich quick” scheme. There is little support from your colleagues. However, your health is good. You should be able to make new connections and keep your friends and associates close, but your temper and emotions may push them away. Chances of reconsidering friends, occupation, money, and desire, will weigh heavily on your mind.

Cancer: Unexpected financial gains are possible but it may be difficult to balance family and career life. There is a possibility of laziness, but family life will be very enjoyable as will travel. Be careful of legal issues but romance should be good right now. However, you will have a heavy heart meditating on doubts, insurance, long life, injury, suspensions, and rejections.

Capricorn: As Mercury moves into Virgo, and the eclipse does a number on Capricorn, signing documents and financial situations may not be the best. Consideration must be taken and take head of any professional consul prior to financial investments. Enemies are hidden and covert actions or reactions must be eliminated. It’s possible that the only person you may be able to count on is your partner or significant other. It’s better to pay off old debts and learn a new skill than to splurge. A deep reconsideration of income, revenues, accomplishments, dreams, family, and safety is absolute at this time.

Consider the information that is listed above as a general tendency not to be specific with a single scenario or a specific person. It is also driven by theoretical prospective of VPAT, not to be mistaken for Western or Vedic Astrology.

Eastern cultures base their entire lives around the cosmos and therefore consider eclipse as a very transformative time. Any eclipses are abysmal times to begin or end anything, no matter how difficult it may be; including every matter of the heart, financial related issues such as work, or any other imperative situation in one’s daily life. There is an old saying that things can only be blessed when the sun and the moon are present and not being blocked from humanity, otherwise things become very weird, unexpected, and appear out of nowhere.

The influence of emotional energy can be advantageous if focused into artistic endeavors and self-healing, but often there is a strong yearning to merely slide into diversion. It is better to indulge in optimistic activities, rather than harvest to more damaging fantasy doings. Miserable propensities can be effortlessly direct under this full moon and the eclipse. The influence of this energy can be exclusively tough or thought-provoking for those who were born under a Full Moon PHASE, as well as for those of the fixed Sun Signs Aquarius, Leo, Scorpio and Taurus.

During the eclipse your psyche may be triggered but do not respond until you are undeniably convinced. The awareness will play tricks and later there may be a need to save grace and face.

Aquarius energy creates the foundation of emotional objectivity – a knack for impartiality regarding your own and others’ feelings. However, at the same time, Aquarius moon brings a sense of independence and diversity. There may be tendencies to be an outsider looking in. Watching delicate circumstances rationally and systematically- Feelings may come up indiscriminately. The tension in this moon will be to make a choice between what is more important, personal need or what is good for the soul and spirit. For emotional contentment seek the company of friends who do not criticize.

During the full moon, you may look to your mother for relationship and intellectual stimulation, yet you may feel that she is cold or aloof. Through her opinions there is a deep understanding of how life is a puzzle and it’s time to put it together.

Full Moons and eclipses in AIR SIGNS are times are more fragile motivation, because the Sun as Life Giver is strong in the FIRE signs. Emotions are robust, of a happy and lighthearted nature. Of course, this applies primarily to those whose charts are not unduly afflicted in the sign of Aquarius and the other fixed signs.

During the Lunar Eclipse, we must observe life in a different prospective. This means to re-write aspirations as:” I need aid in making what I vision and power to manifest joy through this process. Long before I began to write about this eclipse all I could do was to correlate this phenomenal event with the 60’s era. This was a time when people did what they wanted to do and participated in protests against racism, sexism, politics, and social roles; not to mention the protests for the transformation of governmental oversight. It was also a time of new innovations, technology, and new freedom. At the same time shocking deaths forced many to reform what they treasured here in the states as well as abroad. Younger generations, confused and doubtful, took on the mainstream by cultivating change. They were the tree huggers and hippies, wearing dreadlocks and long hair.

LSD put them in a trance so they could fly into another world and marijuana soothed their pain. It was believed that the more love one gave became the more love received. The only song that lingered in my mind, rippling like an ear worm even though I was not born until the later part of the 60’s, was “Aquarius/Let the Sunshine In “by The 5th Dimension. If you have not heard it, it’s a must listen and can be found on YouTube. The lyric begins like this…

Great artists like Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, The Grateful Dead, Joe Cocker, and Crosby, Stills & Nash all had something to say and lit up Woodstock. So here we are 47 years later. Does anything going on right now look or sound familiar? Open your eyes! This is what Aquarius is all about – a vision, enlightenment goals, and most of all, opportunities. This is your clarity, your spirituality, and your transformation. However, this transformation is only the first stage.

Imagine for a moment, the universe wants to turn you into a beautiful spiritual flower unique and so sublime. But to turn energy into a spiritual flower it requires stages and is stage one. In this stage there is an awakening, a closing of one door to open another. The door however, must be sealed shut, never to be opened again. The universe has to show you that the seal cannot be broken and transformation must occur. As history repeats itself it evolves. The evolution becomes more complex, more driven, and this means more conflict driven. But at the end of transformation a rebirth will change history, people, and the entire social structure, bringing us back to look at where we are today.

The 2016 Olympics in Rio have already begun, assuring minor glitches with the trickster Mercury in the heart of all (read about it here). As Aquarius loves to bring groups and people together. Leo energy loves to be loved; embrace the energy and other people, and with it brings richness and companionship and friendship.

This is the very start to the message that is being delivered across India on the 18th of August; a message of hope, relationship, bond, and affection. Since the eclipse is not as intense, this day will be one of celebration, prayers, and thankfulness of siblings. But not just any siblings, but of brothers and sisters, it is known as Raksha Bandhan. The translation of Raksha Bandhan is known as “an oath of protection.” This is a day when all brothers make an oath to their sister, or sisters, that they will protect them from destruction or difficulties. They will pray that God will always protect them from evil. In return then sister/sisters will tie the silk thread called Rakhi (now beautifully decorated) to the right wrist of her brother to remind him to pray and she in turn will pray for his well being. This is a traditional method of celebration. As times have changed women tie Rakhi, for the same reasons, on those whom they feel are like brothers or protectors to them.

As we slowly move across the street like a snail on a hot summer day, what we wanted to see was this big bright Lunar Eclipse that lights the sky like so many times before. But for the first time in so many years, the sun won’t kiss the moon or the earth, therefore it is called an “Almost Penumbral Lunar Eclipse.” Under normal circumstances, a penumbra eclipse occurs when the moon, earth, and the sun form an “almost” straight line but the earth blocks “some” of the sun’s light from reaching the moon’s surfaces and as it is called penumbra the name for this eclipse is self-evident. In this instance however, it is “almost”, meaning that no one on planet earth will be able to view it. Additionally, its duration, if it were to occur, would last only 2 minutes and 42 seconds.

With no lunar eclipse the sun will still light the skies and form a magnificent light opening the gateway to transformation for Aquarius and those that have Aquarius anywhere in their chart. However, this eclipse will not just alter the visions for Aquarius, but also impact and shake his brother and sister fixed signs (Leo, Scorpio, and Taurus) and by characteristics Air signs (Gemini & Libra) as well as all those that have planets associated in the houses listed above. However, looking at the calculation through Vedic Sanskrit analysis I would not be surprised if mutable signs (Gemini, Virgo, and Pisces) and early signs are affected also as they are right in the range of the impact of the intensity. There are very few of you that are being left out of the equation. This would seem that it could be a plus or a negative as the energy of the next two eclipses could have you shaking a little bit more than normal. As I always roll forward and backward, history impacts our future and impacts our present. The energy of this full moon as it sits at 25 degrees in Aquarius/Leo with its brightness visible at 5:27am EST and 2:27 am PST will keep many people awake. But this is not the first time we have felt this energy. On August 16, 2008, we had a Lunar Eclipse at 24 degrees in Aquarius/Leo which was very close to this degree and the familiarity brings chills. Rewind please…

In August 2008, an enormous ceremony opens in Beijing with about 15 thousand performers, over 100 thousand in the stadium, and over 900 million watching; within a few days, an American couple is stabbed at the Olympics. After having to rebuild its City from Katrina, New Orleans had to brace again for Hurricane Gustav. Several natural disasters killed hundreds in India between the stampede in Nepal and Bihar floods. While the U.S joint forces conducted a lethal airstrike killing many Afghani civilians, Senator Obama is elected the Democratic presidential nominee while Hilary Clinton challenges the Democratic Party by requesting followers to assemble behind Obama. Though the circumstances have changed and maybe even some of the roles, don’t some of the events look a bit familiar?

Hence, the world will not be the only thing at center stage during this eclipse; this eclipse is bringing back to a certain point issues and business that was undone August through September of 2007 and February through August of 2007. This is a substantial adjustment concentrating predominantly on matters of home, family, and health. This will also greatly distress relationships as the full moon will activate endings and I would not be surprised if relationships end or come to a breaking point where there is some consideration of a separation or time out.

Aquarius energy has a natural tendency to have some detachment as observation and queues are quite important to their energy. But the full moon will intensify this – the ability for showing impartiality when connecting to our feelings and those of others is of major importance. To view sensitive conditions rationally and systematically is the name of the game. Feelings are erratic. Preferring to channel emotional energy into scholarly pursuits – sometimes just to avoid feeling at all, or turning pain into pleasure could be the way out. The company of friends for emotional joy is the key to self-gratification. By nurturing others and appreciating their brilliance and um-conventionalities could bring curiosity back from darkness. A Motherly figure could also stimulate intellectual pursuits, but she is distant or aloof.

In a way, we are all desperately seeking spirituality and peace after the chaos and shocks that have rippled through our veins and this eclipse is just a glimpse of what is yet to come.

The information I am giving you below is not western astrology or Vedic astrology, rather Vedic philosophical inferences based upon mathematical anomalies. The Astrological names are placeholders as named signs in which difficulties may occur.

I will begin the analysis with the signs that will be affected by the eclipses most intensely. As this is the first mini, I call it a “touch” lunar eclipse focusing primarily on Aquarius. By association, the focus will be on Aquarius and Fixed signs.

Fixed Signs

Aquarius, Taurus, Leo and Scorpio

Along with this Eclipse, which will transform many of you spiritually and emotionally, other planetary influences may also cause some difficulties. Some will bring luck (that is what it will feel like) and some will cause difficulties. It depends upon which influences you wish to follow. According to Vedic philosophies Saturn resumes in Scorpio retrograde which will influence all fixed signs and those that have Scorpio planets in their charts until Mid-September when it moves direct. Alternatively, Western Astrology purports that Saturn is retrograde in Sagittarius which will influence fire signs which focuses primarily on Sagittarius and fire signs. The influence of Jupiter is moving away from Leo and moving into Virgo in September which will influence Taurus. However, Mercury retrograde has already begun to cause some dissimulation and will cause changes and re-considerations to specific details. It is my suggestion to combine both the eclipse and retrograde information to visualize a more concrete prospective.

Aquarius: This is your eclipse. No matter how small it may seem to the naked human eye, trust me when I tell you that emotionally and spiritually it may seem so intense that through your perception it will seem larger than the sky itself. This transition will continue to turn you from a caterpillar into a butterfly. But remember, coming out of a cocoon is not an easy job and some butterflies never make out. The trials and tribulations that continue to place stresses in your life will come to a breaking point. This is where you will have no choice but to change your character, appearance, behavior, actions and reactions, and how you see yourself. Somehow, when you become emotionally attached to something or someone, not only do you attach yourself physically but you attach yourself emotionally – just like the caterpillar. If your environment, or the people around you, are not healthy for you and disturb your serenity it will cause you illness, the intensity of which is not yet determined. Your attachment to toxic people will highly influence the level of intensity. The issues will arise when the decision to continue allowing the rain beat you down so that you never turn into a butterfly or move away to dry land, will be forced upon you. As stated earlier this is the first step; deciding to let go of the old and allowing the new to enter. This is not going to be easy as deep down inside you’d rather not be hurt. However, you do have six months to start planning how to do it gently with love and kindness so you don’t leave negative karma behind or create drama. The choice is yours, either way you must let go of something.

Taurus: You have been beating your head against the wall to have a person, rather than success, fill your void. You know the old saying, be careful what you pray for because you just may get it. First, the universe is asking you to devote constructive energy to thrust forward and be the shining star in your career or business. Second, you will have to balance your personal life with your business duties and accountability. You can no longer playing the victim as they will be connected. If one crashes the other definitely will. It is high time that philosophies, religious activities, and studies be an important part of your life. No longer should these things be on an as needed basis, they should be a mandatory aspect to your life as they will be a threshold to your maturity and wishes being granted.

Leo: There is a part of you that really wants a big makeover. It may become imperative that you want people to see you in a completely different way – whether it is the way you dress or the way you carry yourself. This may have a positive effect on your relationships as the universe has already blessed you with Jupiter and if you are in a positive, supportive relationship it will be blessed with glory. You may now do what you can to maintain good citizenship in reaching your goals.

Scorpio: As if Saturn is not already beating on you… Almost always, Saturn focuses on family matters. This eclipse will also be focusing on family matters, but this time around you may have to play the psychologist. Patience will be paramount as family and children are erratic, sometimes making you think that they are speaking an ancient alien language. It seems to be unclear what they want. Any deliberation on financial issues should be completed this year but be sure to do it between the end of October and the end of November.

Mutable Signs

Pisces, Gemini, Virgo and Sagittarius

Every three to four times a year Mercury retrograde always comes to knock on mutable signs’ door and disturbs you – once again they are disturbing your peace. By association the Pisces eclipse is affecting everyone. It began on March 20, 2015, there will be another at the end of September 2016, and it will end with a grand finale in February 2017. Thus, everyone is affected. While Sagittarius had a bad rap for a while, now Western Astrology states they are under the influence of Saturn to reform and mature, whereas Vedic ideology is forcing them to be home schooled, at least until January 2017 while it beats Scorpio with Saturn just a little longer. By the same token, next to Taurus, I feel Virgos are #2 as worry warts; therefore, the gift of Jupiter is just the thing that makes them happy according to Western astrology. However, Western astrology wants to take that away soon while Vedic mathematical inferences calculate that it will be entering in September of 2016. Whatever the case may be, this eclipse will be a complex change for mutable signs from the retrograde, Saturn, and the eclipses.

Pisces: You have been going through your share of spiritual development in the last few eclipses.
The universe is blessing you now by clearing up any aliments you may have which are under the care of a physician. While you may not have all ailments completely cured, there is light at the end of the tunnel. It is high time now to thank the universe for the blessings you have received and any selflessly given contributions will be gifted generously as long as they are done without expectation. You will be blessed as you are inclined to reach a higher spiritual purpose.

Gemini: It is a known fact that you constantly change your mind. When your left brain says something, your right brain fights. Nevertheless, have you ever heard the concept of curiosity killed the cat? If you decide to take a last minute journey, or just want to get away which you may during the next six months, try to do this while Mercury is not retrograding because you and retrograde are not the best of friends. It may be wise instead to go back to school. Religion has always boosted you and it will again during this time. You may grow your interpretations and philosophies, or you may simply make modifications.

Virgo: This year has been a roller coaster from hell for you. But, come on, it could have been worse. I can almost hear you say but…all I can say is Appreciate, don’t Depreciate! The universe also slows you down for a reason. It gives those sane people whose brains don’t work 5 thousand miles per hour a break from the tick tack of yours. Remember, after this eclipse you will be affected by two more so this is not over. The combination of all four events will make you whole. Sometimes owning your own business, or being in power, is not always a good thing. Subordinates like people working with them and if you are in business for yourself, people may leave. There is a greater chance you will become very melodramatic allowing your adversaries to take an advantage of you. Work hard and show the world what you are made of. Break bad habits during this time and you will succeed. This is time to take a hard look at what projects you want to take on.

Sagittarius: Life is 90% attitude 5% gratitude and 5% solitude. Don’t impose things on others. If you are ready to make a big purchase you may decide to make that purchase during this eclipse. But remember, don’t sign that dotted line until after the middle of October. In the back of your mind there may be something creative you want to do but you may have your doubts if you can do it; either that or you lack the ability or the confidence. However, going to school or educating yourself may be good to get your Sagittarius juices flowing. It’s time to open up channels of communication with people – you have been hiding in your cave for way too long. Venture out, travel, and see the world. You will see how much you will benefit.

Cardinal Signs

Capricorn, Aries, Cancer and Libra

Not much has been beating cardinal signs yet. Capricorns should be enjoying the gifts as Western Astrology attributes to Jupiter, however, Vedic methods will say your gift is in the fall. Capricorns began the year with Mercury retrograde in earth signs, now retrograde in Virgo will affect you and at the end of the year you will finish with a bang. But don’t get cozy as both of eclipses in September will transform you one way or the other. Aries’ have felt the burn of Saturn by association through job and family changes. Perhaps Cancer and Libra has been touched by the Pisces eclipse due to their placements they are just in a rest period as their eclipses will also change their world in 2018. So enjoy it while you can.

Capricorn: I can say you also worry. Although you don’t show it as much, your detachment does. Perhaps you may even detach further this eclipse as your mind will be glued to your budget. It may be time to save, however you might want to do it quickly. Be careful though, as tricky investments will lead you to losses this year. Now is the time to learn more about how to invest your money, clearing debts, and fixing your credit. But don’t get too comfortable as the next eclipse will have another task for you.

Cancer: You are just basking in the sun and gloating while everyone is miserable huh? This time you might decide to change your personality, clothes, hair, or the way you dress. There is a good possibility that you will be budget oriented. Relationships will be love affairs only seen in the movies. Legal issues are finally ending in your favor and remember to thank the universe for all these gifts and blessings. But I can’t say much about the next two eclipses.

Libra: I can see it now; you must be sitting by the poolside sipping Margaretta’s and gloating because of how easily you went through this last year. Now you’re ready to put on your sporty hat and be social, flirt, build rapport with business partners and associates, and build your contact list. Before you know it your black book is blue, red, purple, and all kinds of colors. But being this social has its price; it could mean that if a relationship is not stable now it will be really tested and end with a new one potentially beginning. Creativity can be high and success in every project is predictable. Enjoy this ride.

Aries: You may have been worried about your job or finances in the past and you should be as you had been warned not to take it easy last eclipse. Some sensitive matters connected to families and acquaintances might arise to the forefront. It’s now a period to renovate yourself by inaugurating different set of contacts with scholarly individuals. By doing so you will find that not only your profession may get an enhancement but you may even receive monetary recompenses in your career or financial boost

The Aquarius eclipse signifies the Harvest Moon, a time for festivity and joy; emotions are robust and of a content and lighthearted nature. It is recommended to scribe aspirations to:” I require support in forming anything I envision and control to manifest bliss completely during this time. I require the wisdom to understand love and have the ability to engage in a positive environment of my choice. I require clear comprehension of my goals and the path I should be on.”

Since the moon in Aquarius represents Disobedient, Harsh, Lucid, Sociable, and Impulsive, it is my suggestion for us to remain stable. This full moon is astonishing to many signs. Though the lunar eclipse cannot be seen by the human eye it will be felt through depths of many people. It is also the beginning of the Aquarius series.

It is my suggestion that you purchase two candles, orange and orchid, and carve your name through to the wick. Anoint the candles with orange oil and orchid oil respectively, and chant the Psalm 51.

You may also choose to recite a mantra every morning until the next eclipse in Aquarius which begins with the next spring moon cycle. Remember that with all applications of psalms and mantras achieving the preferred result is dependent upon the value of intention. When it comes to finding satisfying relationships, it is of the greatest importance to begin with a clear understanding of what your goal should be.
