Inconsistent, Insecure, Infuriated Endings: Second New Moon in Cancer 2020

Second New Moon in Cancer

July 20, 2020

By Maharani Rutan©

On July 20, 2012 at approximately 1:32am EST and 10:32pm PST the sky will dim the moon in Cancer at 28 degrees, depending upon the orb. Those affected by this moon are those that have a Cardinal sign (Cancer, Aries, Capricorn, or Libra) in their personal chart at 28 degrees, usually those that are born on the cusp of Cancer/Leo, which means July 19-22.

Any time there is a moon in a later degree of any sign it always signifies an ending of something, and earlier degrees such as 0-1 often relate to a new beginning. Additionally, as I have often said, new moon always signifies endings according to VPAT (Vedic Philosophical Ayurvedic Theories). In the ancient writings of Vedas, it states that if a moon is covered, how can humanity see? (read more about it here)

This ending is a great welcome stage for many as Mercury moves into the Post Juncture period. As we move into the heat of summer expect the predictions from 2020 to come alive with family and leadership once again taking up our attention from July 18 through the 26, just touching Leos when our communication becomes self-expressive and manifestation gives us nirvana.”- Read more about the Mercury retrograde period here.

Many people do not understand the confusion that they are facing, often looking into their life with a microscope and seeing that all is dim. This is completely understandable, especially now, as it seems like we are imprisoned in our own homes. But really, are we? Maybe the universe is telling us to slow down, breathe the air, spend time with the family, take care of ourselves, and not to take a single thing for granted. This is something I have discussed so many times in all my blogs, but also predicted in my 2020 predictions. Read more about it here.

It would seem just the other day I was having a conversation with my good friend Judi, and I said to her this is amazing, now I understand the song that came to mind at the end of December about 2020. Have you seen it? Do you see the fireflies? She said to me “YES! They are beautiful and they are everywhere.” I told her here too. Then I thought to myself had we not slowed down and let nature heal itself would we really see those fireflies? And one of the verses states, “and leave teardrops everywhere” could that be of those lives lost due to COVID? Also, the verse, “I’d like to make myself believe that planet earth turns slowly.” Isn’t it incredible how things happen? Think about it, when was the last time you saw so many fireflies or at least had chance to enjoy them dance with light?

While most of the U.S population is focusing on healing those who fell ill to COVID-19, finding a cure or creating restrictions, there are some things around the world that we are not really paying attention to as we focus on our people. I have continued to say in almost every blog that things repeat themselves, some more intensely, and some that are lessens which remain to be learned. Furthermore, I have talked about 2001, time after time things are replicating. I hope I have been able to open some of your eyes to see this clearly.

One of things that is so extraordinary about this moon is that it is in Cancer; but wait, have we not already had a new moon in cancer during the solar eclipse? (Read more here). Last year we had two full moons in Libra. Are you scratching your head yet? Don’t worry, I will figure it out.

Nevertheless, this is an exact replica of the new moon in July 2001, including the date and degree. Similar energies can be replicated by going back to July 2012 and July 2009. For those whom I have encouraged to write a journal you will see some similarities to your own life. But for now, let me analyze some of the similarities to today’s events.

Some of the similar energies were discussed in my Lunar Eclipse blog (read more about it here). On July 20, 2012, twelve were killed in a Colorado theater shooting. The economical stanza for the U.S continues to drop, while the worst power outage in history hit India leaving over 700 million people without power. A Solar storm wowed researchers and people alike, while the California wildfires burned acres of land. This was very close to the energy we feel currently. There were many similarities from the heat waves, tornadoes, unnecessary shootings, and riots. Perhaps we can end the unnecessary deaths. Those affected the most by these events are those living in Miami and Houston, but even more so South Korea, Holland, Scotland, Columbia and of course, the U.S. Something will definitely end within the next 6 months that has not worked for us before or ramping the situation so that it is perfected to protect us.

The intense anxiety revolves around giving up things that no longer fit our lives from January 2003 and 2011. Looking back to January 2003, one of the top focuses was on SARS which created global deaths throughout 32 countries. Like COVID-19, SARS was also known as a Corona Virus. Perhaps in 2020 we can find a universal vaccine for all corona virus? How ironic that in 2003 we sent disaster assistance to Micronesia, yet today they have 0 COVID cases.

Flash forward to January 2011; the IRS announced that due to the extension of tax cuts millions of people were not able to complete their tax returns. As we already know due to COVID the tax date was pushed back to July 15, 2020 instead of April 15, 2020. The first man freed as a result of DNA evidence was released after serving 30 years of his 75-year prison sentence. Could we find more of this during the equality movement? China prosecuted its own officials due to misconduct where over 700 people were killed. Could we now have the same in the U.S?

What concerns me is the issue that could bring our nation to its knees. In January 2011, civil war broke out in the Ivory Coast when there was an undecided election, setting the groundwork for the President of the Ivory Coast not to leave his position. Could something like that happen here in 6 months? It’s something to think about, as the election is right around the corner.

This New Moon in Cancer expresses mourning as comfort and reservation have been disrupted by a world at war. Spirituality, defense and protections in our food and water systems will be emphasized in the mass media. A craving to live a humbler survival, and it will be understood that should look at financial choices in an either or manner.

The moon in Cancer brings hope, feelings, concern, views, and overemotional issues in our lives. The Watery Cancer Moon brings up reminiscences of youthfulness, genuine protective arms and affectionate touches for loved ones. Our emotions churn in a sea of childhood metaphors.

Short-tempered, subtle, and needing to hide in your shell sometimes is on par for this energy. While personalities may become unpredictable, individuals will willingly look for fostering and care from an astute and older person.

As I bring predispositions every month for those signs effected by the energy, the disposition for Cancer was already elaborated in my Solar Eclipse blog. To get a complete general predisposition it is necessary to combine the Lunar eclipse in June (Read about it here), Solar Eclipse in June (read about it here) and Lunar Eclipse in July (read about it here) for an overall prospective. Though the predispositions are generalized, and one may receive accurate details about how things will be for you, it is suggested that you either get a 6-month in-depth reading from me (read more about it here) or seek an astrologer, whether they be Western or Eastern.

When the Moon is in Cancer, it is a time of fearful desires and great compassion with people responding to life through feelings rather than purpose. During this very delicate period be cautious not to emotionally wound others or allow yourself to be hurt. Normally, people will be ill-disposed yet relaxed, sentimental, loving, and hopeful.

Inappropriately, this maternal appearance of thoughtfulness is often expressed with food and it is easy to overindulge. Cancer is a fostering sign and the most fruitful sign of the zodiac. With the moon in Cancer, it is a virtuous time for creating life and for progress.

It is an option to recite a mantra every morning until the next moon cycle. Recall that with all recitations of psalms and mantras, realizing the anticipated result is be dependent upon the quality of purpose. The mantras can be hard to pronounce for many, but are a powerful source of energy.

This year I have chosen only one mantra which is powerful yet easy to pronounce. Cancerian moon is:

“Om umamahesvarabhyam Namah Om gaurye Namah”

(Om U mama he surbhi yam nahm – ah- ha Om Guar vye nahm ah ha )

Don’t forget to manifest substances regarding money-oriented things at this time. And most of all, don’t forget to light a white candle that day, carve your name on it, anoint the candle with Frankincense oil, and chant Psalm 65 three times.

Please remember that I am not an astrologer, and often Vedic readers use the regularity of astrology as the ground work for modest direction. Vedic readers do not tell anyone what to do, rather, they show the way of choices and consider the situation so that a similar situation is not imagined with dark or rosy glasses, but rather, seen with a clear prospective of understanding and free will.

Vedic reading allows free will choices and for one to have the ability to make choices which are not selfish in nature, but rather, spiritual.

Please note, the last two weeks of this month I am still doing 6-month readings. You should look at the lunar eclipse schedule for further information (read more here).

May this moon bring you the most beautiful endings and healing.

Namaste,

Maharani
