As we slowly approach our second new moon of 2019, we can easily feel the mixed energy. Some of us are anticipating something big to happen while others are just wondering what is next.
Our nation (U.S) faces some of the most traumatic and crucial times, where those who work for the government are now worse off than those who do not have jobs. This is all because of egotistical powers within the government. I had stated in my predictive blog of 2019, “I would not be surprised if there is more controlling behavior as to who is the best.” It seems that it is clear that our executive office feels that if they don’t get their way, others will suffer the consequences. How fair is that? Meanwhile, this person has no idea how to live day by day wondering if there will be enough money to put food on the table. We all know he comes from a well-to-do family, so the concept of wages being held back is completely foreign.
Granted, the topic of the “border wall” may be important to some, however, whatever happened to the melting pot theory or “United We Stand?” Then again, this is the same person that said, “Mexico will pay for the wall!” Perhaps it may not be worth the energy spent on the dialog, nevertheless, I did state “There will not be a gray area during the beginning of this year; it is either going to be very successful for many or a complete failure for others.”-Prediction 2019. Can we find collaboration here, or is this such an important issue that our people need to be sacrificed?
Perhaps the New Moon in Aquarius can energize the people with its Uranus driven energy. Often, Uranus is referred to as a planet of the unexpected and unexplained, and Aquarius sits pretty here as eccentric events have been known to happen; perhaps we can see things are turning around all of a sudden. Perhaps we are blessed to fight for social injustices and regain balance back into our structure. Whichever the case may be, new moons do not bring pleasure, rather, they give us the energy to get rid of the old to plant something new.
On February 4, 2019, the new moon will enter Aquarius at 4:04pm EST and 1:04pm PST, we will have a New Moon in Aquarius at 15 degree depending upon the orb.
This new moon triggers endings for those who have Aquarius in their chart, as well as for those who have fixed signs. The chapter now begins with those who were affected by the Lunar Eclipse in Aquarius August 7, 2017; this is the ending of a chapter for you. If you do not give in it will be given for you. Though the eclipse was not a singular motion, which means everyone was affected, the main energy was geared towards Aquarius and those that had Aquarius in their chart and it is magnified into fixed signs.
Vedic Philosophies have always considered the new moon as unfavorable, often because the sun is taking the lead and Philosophies have always believed that the Full Moons are grander than Sun. There have also been continued dialogs as to the topic of “let there be light” in the western philosophies; it was the sun that brought the light to humanity. In the Vedic Philosophies it was dark, and it was the moon that brought the light to humanity. New moon is a time to find down time for yourself. This is the time to heal old wounds and recharge batteries as the full moon will need your strength. The energy during the new moon is usually lethargic, not energetic.
However, similar to Hindu holiday the new year which is Diwali for Hindus falls on a new moon , as well as a the Chinese New Year falls on the first new moon of the year. There will be plenty of festivities not only abroad but in the U.S. The year of the pig is the 12 animal in the Chinese Zodiac system.
New moon is about introspection and the beginning of a new phase; it is about birth, rebirth, projections, and clarity. The energy will create inspiration to have robustness for meditation and introspection. This energy will continue for about 5-6 days, so take advantage of this to plan into the future. Don’t be surprised if suddenly, out of the blue, you have the blast of energy. This is because of Mars’ placement.
Mars loves Aries, and this is where it will position itself the day after the new moon. Many people will feel a robust sense of energy which could cause them to be very dominate and demanding. Expect this energy to be become intense and very assertive until it begins to cool down a bit during Mercury retrograde. Then again, I would not be surprised if there are jealous tendencies, and ignorantly not understanding how people are hurt and why there are hurt feelings. There may still be some closely held secrets and the line “I know nothing. I see nothing” could be the theme for a while. This situation is primarily due to Jupiter’s placement in Scorpio until the end of March (according to Vedic Philosophies).
This can also explain the arrogant behaviors from upper government officials. Hence, there is no recourse as it is all due to Saturn decreasing its strength in Sagittarius. During direct motion Saturn acts as a teacher/Guru and looks out for humanity. When Saturn does not have power there are tendencies of increases in exploitation of government and people. Disrespect and dishonor of good people and doing bad or taking advantage of anyone during this period, which according to Vedic Philosophies is until December 2019, will be sure to get the punishment.
Moon in Aquarius extends to people the liveliness to be extremely cautious. There is a need to ask the question of why people do what they do by being a bit removed, or even a bit shy. There may be some liberal propensities with rejection of distrust, selfishness, and uneasiness. Emotional detachment – a knack for impartiality regarding your own and others’ feelings, are a norm under this new moon energy.
The feelings expressed will come out of nowhere and the energy may create a need to pursue education or new things. When the necessity is not felt the replacement is company of friends to fill the void. Another way a need could be felt is through the seeking out a mother or a motherly figure for friendship or rationality, but her aloofness may not fill the void right away. These tendencies are often strengthened for those who are Aquarius or have Aquarius in their chart, hence it also includes all fixed signs.
People with fixed signs (Aquarius, Taurus, Scorpio and Leo) may isolate emotionally and be more impartial thus avoiding overreaction of conditions. Even though you may not be going through any major transits, you are going through your own transformation. This has been instigated by the triggers of the August 2017 eclipse. Think back and see what began and what ended; it’s now time to plant the seeds of your tomorrow. Unlike other years, this year looks very optimistic for you. You have enormous progress in your career with great financial increases. You will now have some peace within your family structure, but it means that your patience will be tested, and you must not let your anger dictate the outcome. If you decide to go into business for yourself, the best opportunity is during the winter/spring. If you do not have resources, you will have the support you need. If you decide to think too much and hold off until early summer, I don’t see you prosper as much as you want to. Your financial situation will be so much better that you will be now ready to pay off old debts; but be careful as this spring could bring issues involving transportation or vehicles. Additionally, around the same time, you may have some difficulties in areas of relationships and finances.
Saturn: April 2019-Sept 2019. Saturn is in Sagittarius, and really loves you. Lady luck is on your side and because of this you will find yourself in the right place at the right time and your career will rise. Your professional outlook is fantastic, and your health is getting better. This is because you may finally spend some time finding the spiritual side of you. Your financial situation looks good. However, you may have health issues, which you will overcome, and any legal issues will go in your favor.
Rahu: March 30, 2019-. You may have financial losses because of senseless investments and gambling. There may be some relationship tiffs.
Uranus: Aug 2019. Internal battles are possible; however, you can learn a lot from traveling and looking at, and listening to, other people’s experiences.

Things can be wonderful for you; however, in the spring, do not take any unnecessary actions on anything you are not certain of. You may have plenty to do and if you become lazy you will get the same result. There are bound to be misunderstandings, unnecessary spending, and unnecessary travel. There are bound to be arguments regarding finances with your loved ones which may take time to heal. Stress will cause some unwarranted health issues. Health of family members should take precedence over everything right now.
There are no rules for Aquarius. There is only insight, but that perception must be principled and bold to gain the potential that everyone merits equally. Since moon in Aquarius represents Defiant, Desolate, Lucid, Welcoming, an Erratic, it is my suggestion for us to remain balanced. This new moon is extraordinary to many signs. It is my suggestion that you purchase an orange candle and carve your name one it, through to the wick. Anoint the candle with lavender oil or sage oil and chant the Psalm 51.
You may also choose to recite a mantra every morning until the next moon cycle. Remember that with all applications of psalms and mantras achieving the desired result is dependent upon the quality of intention.
When it comes to finding satisfying relationships, it is of the greatest importance to begin with a clear understanding of what your goal should be.
This year I am reverting to only two mantras, easy and difficult, so that when one becomes fluent at the easy mantra, the difficult one will not be as complicated.

The intention of these mantras is to smooth your path in life by helping you understand the lessons you have set for yourself; and through karma, the negativity will be surpassed.
With every moon cycle, remember to cross out the old affirmations, even if there is only the slightest change, and create new ones. The perfect number for aspirations is 10. This means to list 10 aspirations and recite them every night until the next moon cycle. Remember to never make the affirmations begin with “I want”, they must be worded “I need to be shown how to retain.”
