New Moon in Virgo

The fall season is soon upon us and the Halloween decorations are already displayed in retail stores. Our days of summer heat are hopefully toning down a bit. Now, the hustle and bustle begin as the children are back to school and some are sent to college.
As we sit back trying to keep cool, political and international things seem to be heating up. In the meantime, all of us not in the political world are still scratching our heads wondering what the truth is. “However, the time will come to search even deeper for the truth between March and October 2018, when the truth as we knew it will bring eye openers to many.”-Predictions of 2018.
We all have been shocked in one way or another, from politics to our heroes passing. It has left all wondering, are we all getting old or is this just a new beginning?
Perhaps we can all have a sigh of relief as the eclipse of Cancer, which has begun Cancers journey, the last eclipse in Aquarius, and the Leo eclipse in August, are all behind us. Also, the little trickster (Mercury retrograde) has moved away.
This moon comes to us just in time to get our hands dirty and get to work. I am sure you have heard many Western Astrologers explain and write about the Earth sign Grand Trine. In short, I will leave that explanation for the experts. However, in VPAT (Vedic Philosophical Ayurvedic Theories) one of the most crucial times will occur between September 6, 2018 through September 28, 2018 and is known as Kala Sarpa Dosha. Without going into the technicality of this inference, the effects can be very damaging.
Environmentally, when this occurs there are bound to be Earthquakes, hurricanes, tsunamis, and floods. On the international front, battles, exploitation, and dysfunctional within the Government is a good possibility. Hence, on a personal level, depending upon the placement of one’s planets, one can have mixed results. Earth signs and Virgos are highlighted. There could be career advancements.
The new moon will void the sky on September 9, 2018 at 2:01pm EST and 11:01am PST in the practical sign of Virgo at 17 degrees. Unfortunately, the new moon has never been at this degree; the closest it has come was in 2007 at 18 degrees and the closest it will be in the future is in 2037.
In the world today, everything makes a full circle and if we rewind to 2007, President Bush appointed a new Attorney General, could it happen again? Then again, I would not be surprised if this will be a year of tropical storms and minor hurricane with September being the busiest month.
Maybe we should be wondering what’s next. My prediction is work. Uranus is retrograde in Taurus and going back to Aries for a couple of rounds to recheck. Jupiter and Venus are bringing some beautiful things to Aquarius, Sagittarius, Virgo, Libra, Gemini and Aries. But since this is a Virgo gift, I will expand on Virgos further into the blog.
The New Moon brings a time of opening something innovative, slow transparency, and taking a leap of faith. There is an impulse to take gambles, even if it means baby steps. It’s a new way of looking at things and a new way going on with your daily routines. The inspiration is right for making spur-of-the-moment moves and following your instincts. This is the time to act through courage and have genuineness in progress – take an opportunity, live in the moment.
The new moon begins a new cycle. It is asking you to make time to prepare for what your needs are according to the projections you have in your life and what is available to you (through time of Virgo this month).
The moon in Virgo carries insight about all the little things and how we can help and serve others. Enjoy nutritious foods, pure manners, and clean surroundings. Time to be genuine! Sorting through emotions sensibly and modestly, while limiting your reaction, is the energy that will ultimately create a positive reaction. It may become very difficult to know what is decent, pure, and healthy, but there is a consideration that everything will happen through hard work. The more work that is focused on helping others, the more blessings you will receive.
The Moon in Virgo brings a time of carefulness, analysis, and efficiency. People may become more meticulous and detail-oriented. As a result, this is a good time to complete small or large projects; undertake the detailed ones first, since Virgos are thorough, the energy will supply the focus.
If you are a Virgo one piece of advice for you would be to remain calm; nothing is going away so fast that you must finish everything now. If you know someone that is a Virgo, be considerate towards them as they may seem rushed to get things done or get things in order.
Virgos may also be fanatical with health, food, and fitness activities. Also, people may be reserved as they are engrossed in meditation and intellectual pursuits. Because critical thinking is highlighted, caution needs to be taken not to act with unwarranted comments or in finicky ways.
Virgo is ruled by Mercury, as is Gemini. Therefore, Gemini’s may also become fixated on cleaning and removing clutter.
Advice for Virgo’s for the remainder of the year:
Now is the time to take advantage of any promotions and bonuses. This is also the best time to look for new career opportunities. Your financial situation will soon improve. You will notice that family members are more respectful and thoughtful towards you than ever before. You may even want to get involved in religious activities. Take notice of every opportunity you receive in all areas of your life. Your growth and expansion will come this year and new networking is possible.
Even though October may bring difficulties at your current position, in general, fall looks great for sustainable gains. The remainder of the year you are being warned not to give uninvited advice to people. You may need to sleep more and stay away from the color green as much as possible.
The moon in Virgo is precise, scrupulous, hygienic, complicated, and compliant. It is my suggestion that you purchase a green candle and carve your name through to the wick. Anoint the candle with Inspiration oil or Eucalyptus oil and chant the Psalm 5. You may also choose to recite a mantra every morning until the next moon cycle.
Remember that with all functions of psalms and mantras, achieving the desired result is dependent upon the quality of intention. When it comes to finding satisfying relationships, it is of the greatest importance to begin with a clear understanding of what your goal should be.
