New Moon in Leo

Finally, the Universe will have mercy on us. One of the most significant eclipses is behind us and Aquarius may finally be breathing a sigh of relief. However, their journey has now begun to put the pieces together, but all is not settled just yet.
By the time the eclipse enters our atmosphere there will still be several planets continuing to be in retrograde. Which will not only affect the positive progression but also cause some negativity in the air.
Unlike the Total Solar Eclipse in 2017, and the upcoming Total Solar Eclipse on Jan 20, 2019, this eclipse will not nearly make the marvelous Centro. Unfortunately, much of North America will not see the eclipse, but nevertheless, all may feel it as if it will bring new beginnings to the values of family, structure, and leadership.
I will not be going into depth on how eclipses are formed or anything that focuses on astronomy. This is mostly due to the philosophies which have primary concerns upon timing, as well as the impacts of the eclipses on those people directly in line with the eclipse.
The eclipse on July 13, 2018, and July 27, 2018, this eclipse will not be viewable by many in North America. However, the northern parts may get a little glimpse. Hence, those who will be able to view it would be upper North America such as Greenland and Canada and it will move straight across to Russia; including upper norther European countries such as Finland and Norway.
The sky will glaze with the second to the last eclipse in Leo. The partial eclipse will move north eastwards at approximately 2:46am PST and 5:46 am EST. Though it is not a total solar eclipse, the partial eclipse will still be wonderful to see as it enters 18 degrees in Leo. Within 10 minutes, the moon will go void into the symphony of New moon and the sun will shadow it.
Per VPAT (Vedic Philosophical Ayurvedic Theories), when the eclipse shadows over a certain country or area, it is an omen or brings chaos in that region. In this case it would be Northern America, Canada, and Russia. The relationships between countries which I mentioned, and other collaborative countries, will be in a war-like situation. There could be political upheaval or changes. There could even be some speeches or verbal attacks that may seem childish.
Additionally, this eclipse in the Western ideology would be in Leo while in VPAT it is in Cancer. Though it may seem a little complicated, the predictions are based upon 29.5 days in a month and revolve around the moon, not the sun. Therefore, both Leo and Cancers will be affected by this eclipse. Expect plenty of rain, earthquakes, wind, and fire damage as explained in my last blog. This solar eclipse is a recreation of events that led up to today and 6 months forward; issues which were originally from 1998 and 2009. Whatever magnifies and is good for mankind will remain in January 2019, otherwise it will leave for good. With every undesirable outcome a positive vision is brought forth. Confidently, eclipse transports problems for the world and it is very difficult to adjust to changes. However, life does not wait for us, we either wait for life to happen or we must go and get it like Leo the leader. But we do have a choice to bring it to us with nursing and love.
Whether you have Leo or Cancer in your chart or not, almost every one of us could have all three elements in their chart. Those that will be most affected by this eclipse are Leo, Cancer, Gemini and Capricorn.
Since Mercury is retrograding in Cancer/Leo and moving into Virgo, this continues to test relationships and make people very emotional. Moreover, our reactions influence what we say and how we say it, thus it also impacts the person receiving the message. According to VPAT calculation, Mars the ruler of men, or as VPAT theories suggest, those of leadership and authority, are currently in placement of Capricorn/Cancer. This could cause many leaders to show defiance. This may all have to do with doing things in a hurry. But it will also give a lot of energy to get things done.
The energy is due to Saturn which is halfway home in Sagittarius. Saturn, a planet of past life karma and teacher of difficult lessons, is back in Sagittarius where prejudice, justice, self-improvement, and hard work will be the name of the game. With Jupiter still in Libra, I would not be surprised if religion, education, and discipline are also par for the course.
This eclipse is predominantly detached and persistently concerned with a need to control any tendency of misery or depression while agonizing or manifesting our own fatalities. Do not act on compulsion or it may blow up in your face, and do not offer money to anyone. It’s time to intensely reflect influences in the world and the full manifestation of humanity. This 6 to 18-month period is a time to concentrate on teaching, learning, sympathy, empathy and encouragement.
It is often noted that things which happen, whether virtuous or depraved, are concentrated on or around the eclipse but do not happen on the day of the eclipse. They could occur, reasonably, months later, being generated from other events or planetary changes which interact with even more events.
The Moon in Leo symbolizes a time of wishes and charisma. Ruled by the Sun, Leo creates an encouragement of pleasantness, passion, and pleasure. There may be an aura of creativity, dignity, or generosity. It is a good time to pursue romance, be social, and to help others. Like the Lion that symbolizes Leo, many may be self-confident, craving extreme gratefulness and acknowledgment.
The Leo energy can sometimes cause people to be more intolerant, stubborn, proud, annoyed, arrogant, self-centered, or patronizing. It is also harder (but not impossible) to make fluctuations or be supple.
As I elaborated earlier, VPAT considers every eclipse as neither good nor bad, but just change. What I am about to bring to you is not astrology or numerology. It is not premised on Western ideological astrological or Vedic astrological ideologies, rather, VPAT (Vedic Philosophical Ayurvedic Theory) is based upon mathematical prediction. Astrological signs are mere place holders of characters within a group of inferences.

My predictions below will begin with those characteristics, or rather placeholders, that will be most impacted by the solar eclipse.
Please note, these predictions must be combined with the lunar eclipse earlier this month to get an overall picture of what you can expect for the next 6 months to a year.
Intense transformation
Leo, Capricorn, Aquarius, Gemini, Cancer
Dear Leo, I am sure you are going to be glad to hear that your eclipse energy is almost over, I promise. I understand this has been a difficult period since Spring of 2017; just when thought everything was perfect. But by the time you are on the other side you will be a much more knowledgeable and encouraging person. The only thing that is holding you back for a little longer is Saturn which will continue to place difficult lessons on you until 2020. Thereafter, you can sip Long Island Ice Tea like Cancers have been doing for so long. Perhaps you should give a few lessons to your Dear Cancers and let them know that their first eclipse weeks ago was an easy one compared to yours. But you must understand that Rahu and Ketu are in Capricorn/Cancer until spring of next year too; thus, transforming both. With Pluto pounding Capricorn, there is nothing left to do but accept circumstances as Aquarius must. Their eclipse a few weeks ago is the last one in their sign and they will now have 8 years to get it right. Then again, Gemini’s are probably scratching their heads saying, “why am I a part of this?” The main reason why you are a part is because not only will some of the eclipse in Cancer affect you, but so will Mercury and the residue of Aquarius eclipse. It’s not yet time to take it easy.
Leo: Considering this is your second to last eclipse Dear Leo, it is best that you pay very careful attention to your surroundings right now as accidents and mistakes are bound to happen. This could lead to mental and physical strain.
Shani (Saturn): As this eclipse is in your sign shining bright, so has Saturn which has been glorifying you to give you the energy you need to get your work done. You will also have more work than you can handle; you may even take on more. This will not only make work more profitable, but the relationships may be glorified.
Rahu: The remainder of the year is all about honest hard work and travel which could cause you fatigue.
Ketu: Difficulties in interpersonal relationships. Unnecessary conflicts.
Mars: Conflicts are possible on the home front. There could be cause to worry about a family member’s health.
Guru (Jupiter): Finances will get better, there is also a bit of contentment. Energy to overcome interpersonal conflicts. (changes sign in Oct.)
Health: Old health concerns may pop up.
Capricorn: With Ketu and Pluto pounding on you, you may wonder at times what is really going on. You may have issues and difficulties at home and work, due to arguments, disputes, misconception, or miscommunications.
Shani: Financial growth and restlessness.
Rahu: Finances may not be up to par, and partnerships may be strained
Ketu: People may have difficulty understanding as you may seem detached.
Mars: Financial situations seem to prosper, and you may expand your circle of friends. Family illness may be a cause of worries.
Guru (Jupiter): Financial gains are possible and a mother’s, or female guardian’s, health may get better.
Health: Low energy and improper diet could cause some concern.
Aquarius: Dear Aquarius, now it is time for you to plant the seeds of your future. You may have a lot of pressures at work and it may be more than you can handle. If you can do it, then it may be done sloppy.
Shani: Rewards in business and responsibilities.
Rahu: You will now have the upper hand on your adversaries. Any loans that you give will be paid back with interest. There may be unnecessary aggressiveness due to pressure.
Ketu: Difficulties holding on to savings. Be careful as your image may be tarnished due to mental stress which will also hinder relationships; there could be a separation.
Mars: You may connect with important career contacts and connections worldwide.
Guru (Jupiter): You will have financial gains blessing you to heal your health.
Health: Issues with cholesterol, stomach and skin problems are possible.
Gemini: You may be going through constant flux in your life due to Mercury retrograde, and your everyday routine will continue to cause you stress. If you have a wonderful idea about some growth at work, it will be very difficult to convince higher ups. You might want to seek a teacher or guru to help you with time management.
Shani: Relationship issues and stress.
Rahu: Financial situation will prosper; however, abrasive and authoritative words will hinder. There is also a chance of intolerance with alcohol or other suppressive.
Ketu: Disagreement from friends and weakness in your health.
Mars: Difficulties in interpersonal relationships. An increase in expenses and advancement in your career is possible.
Guru (Jupiter): Financial gains are possible, as are romantic relationships.
Health: Joint pains, allergies, or colds are possible.
Cancer: You have now begun your own transformations but don’t expect everything to be rosy as life does not always deal us good cards. Your financial life could better however, which may mean you taking on another job or a project. Because of other people’s support it may be that you have to put in more hours at work. You may have difficulties getting along with people at work or at your business. If you are not working, it could be those you associate with.
Shani: Stress, demands and interpersonal relationship conflicts.
Rahu: You may become short with people and possibly angry. An elderly man i.e., father, grandfather, or guardian may not agree with you. Additionally, Rahu will not make your love life or issues with children any better. Stay focused if you are learning something as you will easily lose focus.
Ketu: Difficulties in interpersonal relationships. Your professional life will rise.
Mars: Positive aspects in areas of career and finances but they will need your patience, however, be very careful with foolish decisions which could discredit you.
Guru (Jupiter): Career life will take off, with many of the things you are doing not coming from luck. Many concerns around the health of your parents, grandparents, or guardians. (changes sign in Oct.)
Health: Digestive issues and lingering diseases or issues may arise
Cautionary transit
Aries, Taurus, Scorpio, and Sagittarius
Dear Aries, you should be feeling just a tad bit better. Soon Uranus will go direct into Taurus and there will be some relief. However, I cannot promise everything will be smooth sailing as Saturn will continue to transit in Sagittarius until 2020. This will cause you to go through some continual transits. Nevertheless, you may want to share with Taurus what it is like to have Uranus in your sign as nothing seems to be the same. Then again, Scorpios are used to unsettling changes and soar like the Phoenix when it is over. But they too are on their last leg of Saturn transit which is now direct for the last time in Scorpio and will move back to Sagittarius in a few more weeks. A few weeks, however, is not long enough for Sagittarius; they may be loving the Saturn transits as they could be getting married or winning unexpected money, but they will continue to maintain a low profile. Again being a mutable sign Sagittarius dislikes mercury retrograde as it usually puts dampers on their plans.
Aries: You should be feeling just a tad better, however, you will continue to transform through Saturn. New ideas will trickle through your mind, but risky business ventures are not lucky.
Shani: Competition and hard work.
Rahu: Financial situations will prosper; however, family life and health issues may torment you.
Ketu: Disagreement with authority figures and family. Arguments will discredit you.
Mars: Professional life soars and you will have an upper hand against enemies.
Guru (Jupiter): Relationships will suffer yet your physical abilities will soar.
Health: Bad diet will cause digestive issues.
Taurus: Now that you will soon have Uranus back into your life, you must get ready to expect the unexpected. Career transits are looking great; however, your own insecurities will get the best of you.
Shani: Increased expenses and interpersonal relationship frustrations.
Rahu: Financial situations will prosper, sibling rivalry is possible, and this is not a good time for romantic relationships.
Ketu: Spiritual journeys, either physical or psychological, are possible; however, your materialist senses may give contradictory messages.
Mars: Interpersonal relationships are not good, and compromises are needed.
Guru (Jupiter): Financial and career life seems to be steady, but improper savings could cause problems.
Health: Stomach ailments, headaches, and blood sugar issues are also possible.
Scorpio: If you treated Saturn with respect you may have received many gifts, if not, many things could end. Work and education are going to be wonderful, possible wishes will be granted. Do not be overly confident when facing new trials.

Rahu: Intellect will soar, plenty of support will be received from family.
Ketu: Hard work will pay off, possible travel and financial gains are possible.
Mars: Temper needs to be cooled down, issues could occur regarding interpersonal relationships.
Guru (Jupiter): Possible financial losses, yet you will receive recognition and rewards.
Health: Stomach infection, joint pain, and eye issues are possible.
Sagittarius: As I have always said, Saturn is not bad, he brings luck in many places if you show respect. Professional life may be challenging, and hard work will be necessary.
Shani: Responsibilities, and low self-esteem.
Rahu: Financial gains are possible through legal matters. Family conflicts are possible.
Ketu: Financial, professional, and family issues will be overcome. Budgeting is necessary.
Mars: Major financial gains and achievement, as well as children overcoming obstacles.
Guru (Jupiter): Financial gains and peace in interpersonal relationships.
Health: Abdominal infections, high blood pressure, and eye related issues.
Hiccup transit
Virgo, Libra and Pisces
There is nothing like riding the wind I would say Dear Virgo, now that you have passed your eclipses and your Jupiter transit. Don’t expect anything wild right now, it’s about riding it out. Mercury retrograde could, however, hinder your progress and cause you to become very cautious. Then again, that is your nature, unlike Pisces who take everything in stride and moves on. Both of you have a lot to share; however, Neptune in Pisces causes many of us to feel like we are in a drunk state. Yet we still have a bit to go before it moves away. Nonetheless, you wish you had Libras luck right now. Jupiter is soon moving away from their sign but they have learned the hard way how to let go.
Virgo: It feels good to sit back for a minute. Remember, you are the creator of your own chaos, so stay away from drama by being less dramatic. A boost in your career is possible with a great many options. You will have plenty of responsibilities and you will reap what you sow.
Shani: Better career prospects, recognition, and business should boom.
Rahu: Unexpected financial gains are possible and if in a relationship, be faithful.
Ketu: You may find emptiness in your love life and small arguments are possible.
Mars: Be careful to avoid unnecessary arguments and road rage. In the fall things will get better in relationships.
Guru (Jupiter): Improvement in your profession, communication with confidence, honor and recognition are possible.
Health: Joint paints, indigestion, high blood pressure, headaches, and lack of energy.
Libra: you have been getting many waves from the universe to use the blessings in the right way; if you have, then things will be soaring. You are in the need for exploration. Being objective rather than emotional will help your ride out this eclipse.
Shani: Career growth and family issues.
Rahu: Professional and financial stresses are possible.
Ketu: Career pressure and dissatisfaction with life.
Mars: Family relations and an aggressive nature may backfire.

Pisces: You are now on the other side of the eclipse, if you are not grateful to the universe it will be tough for you. The only thing that would cause issues would be Mercury and Neptune so be careful not to glorify anything. Your professional life will get better with great support from acquaintances and co-workers.
Shani: Recognition, Responsibilities, and roadblocks.
Rahu: Financial losses and a lack of spirituality may cause confusion.
Ketu: Offspring issues are possible. More time with friends is also going to land you prospective career opportunities.
Mars: Finances will be status quo, but a new source of income is also possible.
Guru (Jupiter): Obstacles at the workplace and stressors.
Health: Fatigue

It is a time for progress, out of smell truth, find the mystical spirits within you. Breath out the definition of what it means to have something stay. All hard work will be blessed, and short cuts will be dismissed.
The similarities of August 22, 1998 and August 21, 2017 are a mirror to our future. However, the parallels are unavoidable. If you recall, it was not that long ago that the “Great American Eclipse” was a “wow” moment for America. Similarly, Mercury was also retrograding around the same time and issues of the past were revisited. In 1998 President Clinton was being investigated for perjury and obstruction of Justice; do you see a similar trend here with our current President, without going into the details?
Hence, we are already aware that there has been an ongoing debate around issues of global warming which could cause bodies of water to move, as well as the tectonic plates. But some things do not happen on the day of the eclipse, rather, they could occur 7-12 days before and up to 6 months afterwards.
Similarly, a 5.2 earthquake shook Pennsylvania in 1998, similarly 2017 saw Mexico shaking, and now it’s Bali. Hurricane Bonnie in August 1998 went from a cyclone to a hurricane touching the Carolinas and leaving, in the same respect, Hurricanes Harvey, Irma, and Maria left no room to run. In the summer of 1998, the Santa Fe National Forest fire burned almost 1,400 acres of land and coming very close to New Mexico. Similarly, in 2017, it did the same so now here we are what is happening here? Are we not supposed to learn from the past or do we keep repeating the same mistakes? I always say if we treat mother earth with love and respect it will respect us back.
For the lunar eclipse in Spring and Summer I elaborated that winds and damage will destroy crops as we are just leaving the Leo mark. We still have until Jan 20, 2019 before all should calm down a bit.
The new moon transports energy to plant the seeds so be kinder, love a little more, and be practical. Actualities and energy are here to make decisions now, and we have all that we need to make it happen. We need to take the time to respect, collaborate, and work together as Leo would want. Now is the time to place experiences before us and enjoy our time with family and friends.
Since moon in Leo is Brave, Noble, Powerful, Guiding, Organized, AND IMPATIENT, it is my suggestion that you purchase orange and white candles and carve your name through to the wick. Anoint the candle with lemon oil or orange oil and chant the Psalm 65.
You may also choose to recite a mantra every morning until the next eclipse. Evoke that with all requests of psalms and mantras. Remember, attaining the chosen result rests upon the eminence of purpose.

The objective of this mantra is to have balance through inconspicuousness and blurred energy as well as bringing closer and opening new doors for fire and fixed signs. With every moon cycle, remember to cross out the old declarations even if there is the slightest change and create new ones. The perfect number for aspirations is 10.
