Full Moon in Taurus

October 27, 2015

By Maharani Rutan©

When the leaves begin to turn orange, yellow, and brown, the season will change once again. Though many do not get to see the majestic colors of fall, the site of nature is absolutely marvelous. The smell of pumpkin spice and the chill of the crisp air is the beauty and marvel of nature.

In 45 days many of you in the United States will gather with their families to have a wonder feast of turkey, or ham and have a relaxing day watching football on television. However, we all know that 80-90% of the time the 2nd and 3rd quarter will be missed as people with full bellies will be napping in front of the television. Perhaps we will all do it again in 72 days when Christmas is near.

Perhaps the best time for the children is on the 31st of October when the moon will still be full. As we will be blessed with the last supermoon of 2015; I had stated in my blog in December 2014 that we are being blessed with 6 super moons this year. Three of which are called super new moons which occurred in the winter/spring 2015 and three of which are called super full moons which just so happened to be in the summer/autumn of this year. (Read more about this here).

Our beautiful sky will bring a haunting delight on October 27, 2015 with its last super full moon of 2015. At approximately, 8:06 am EST, 5:06 am PST the moon will move into Taurus at 3 degrees. There is no energy we may have had in the past like the one we will have this October. Perhaps October 2007 may be very close as in late October 2015 the full moon was in Taurus at 2 degrees, however, there was no super moon attached to it. But in the future it will come close in 2034 and those who will still be alive in 2045 remember this energy; as I have always said, history will repeat at the exact degree.

There has been so much going on with confusing energy that everything has impacted every individual. From the eclipses to Mercury retrograde (Read about it here), even if it does not seem that things are moving fast enough, they are getting faster. This energy has defiantly left us to think about the “what ifs”. The eclipse in Virgo (Read about it here) altered many Earth and mutable signs into focusing on hard work and new ideas. On the other hand, the October eclipse (read about it here) brought the strength and power to move forward with those ideas. Whatever was concealed is now exposed; however, it means we must open our eyes. Now the full moon in Taurus gives us a moment to realize what we should have changed and what we should appreciate.

Venus, Mars, and Jupiter (read about it here) are all in Virgo at this time, so it won’t take much to be loved and share love. Remember, it’s not the big I love you, it is the little things we do that matters. But Virgos and earth signs are being glorified as Jupiter’s gift of luck will continue to magnify them. For example, if you have worked really hard and you just wish all the drama would stop at work. If it has not stopped in the last two years while preparing to move into Virgo, then the universe will make sure Virgos are protected. This does not mean it will be all good. It could mean that what is good for the pocket is not always good for the heart and soul.

Virgo’s, you have been asleep way too long. This is the time of a 14-15 year cycle where you must move past things that do not work and bring forth the energy that you need to make your dreams come true. Additionally, instead of worrying about what you do not have you must honor yourself by prioritizing your health, work, and projects that you have wanted to do for so long but never had the time.

Now the preparation begins. The light of the full moon in October helped hunters see the animals that they were hunting clearly and allowed them to store away the food for the winter. This was especially true for the Native Americans who named this moon “The Hunters Moon”.

All come to be more affluent under the bright light of the Full Moon – desire and self-confidence can become quite overstated, and there is more consciousness and emphasis on relationships. There may be a feeling of prevailing energy by the light of the Moon and in sleep we may have more luminescent dreams.

Bleeding and hemorrhaging are more likely during a Full Moon, so take care. Flooding rain and other water related issues are probable. This is the time to gather, pray, and be Grateful. During a full moon people can often become extremely detached and aware of their own needs, yet still wonder how to fulfill others needs.

This moon is fairly exceptional in many ways. We are forced to delay our own contentment to allow our soul to develop through fostering compassion to others. This personal progress has radiated a lot of discomfort and sacrifices which, in fact, has allowed us to share our learned experiences with others – this also helps us to understand ourselves.

The Moon in Taurus pushes for a time of caution and sensibleness. People may feel more passe and tenacious. This is a good time to finish projects that have lingered, as people may be more dependable and methodical. Like the stubborn Bull representing Taurus, people may be bull-headed – cautious in negotiation and be quarrelsome. Care needs to be taken to avoid self-indulgence and unpredictable anxieties or cravings for material wealth.

Since the moon in Taurus represents Tranquil, Tangible, Earthly, Accepting, and Stubborn, we must use the everyday senses. No matter what astrological signs you hold, if Taurus is anywhere in your natal or progressed chart you will be directly impacted by this energy. The Moon transiting Taurus gives us very assorted feelings.

Moon in Taurus is inclined towards fulfillment, determination, caution, and protection. This is a good time to take a vacation or to schedule a lazy day as a breather and sensual enjoyment. It’s a time to get into your physical intellects and to enjoy the physical world around you through your senses. It is also a good time for environmental or protection efforts. The theme seems to be faithfulness and holding fast. This is not the time to clean out closets and drawers. You’ll want to keep everything like hoarders do, as it is a way to connect with the past.

All those who have Earth (Virgo, Taurus, and Capricorn) in their chart will be affected by this full moon. As well as all fixed signs (Taurus, Aquarius, Scorpio and Leo). This is the move intense moon in 2015 as far as energy.

You may choose to recite a mantra every morning until the next moon cycle. Remember that with all solicitations of psalms and mantras, achieving the wanted outcome is reliant on upon the excellence of purpose. When it comes to finding nourishing relationships and success, it is of the greatest importance to begin with a clear understanding of what your goal should be.

The mantras can be hard to pronounce for many but are a powerful source of energy. The mantra for Taurus moon is:

Om Hreeng Kleeng Shreeng

(Om Hring kling shreeng)

However, the full moon is a everlasting blessings for Cancerians therefore I always recommend for Hindu followers, make sure you do Satya Nārāyana Puja and recite 52 times

Om Chandraya Namaha

(om Cha Dra Ya Na Ma ha )

Additionally, Jupiter is still in Virgo as it continues to benefit all Earth signs therefore, this mantra will evoke the power of Jupiter.

Om Gum Gurubhyo Namaha

(Oom Gum Guru Bh yo Nam aha)

Lastly, all those that have Sagittarius in their chart somewhere this is probably the most difficult time for you especially dealing with family matters. Unfortunately this period is not going to ease up any time soon and many of you may have another year or two before you see the light at the end of the tunnel. To ease the pain or difficulties, I suggest no matter how difficult this is for you to pronounce within a week or two you will begin to ease the confusion in your life.

Om shreem shanidevaya namo namaha

(om Shrim sh ani de va ya na mo na ma ha)

Remember the 12 aspirations. Don’t forget to cross the ones you have already accomplished and make new ones. Don’t forget as well to manifest matters concerning materialistic things at this time. And most of all, don’t forget to light a white candle that day; carve your name on the candle, anoint it with Frankincense oil, and chant Psalm 65 three times.
