Planting the seeds for 2013

New Moon in Capricorn

January 11, 2013

By Maharani Rutan

Though 2012 leaves us with many good and bad memories we continue to plant the seeds for a better tomorrow…..

On January 11, 2013, we will have a New Moon in Capricorn; this spectacular event will take place 21 degrees in Capricorn at 11:44am PST and 2:44pm PST

Even though Venus enters Capricorn on January 08, 2013, there could be some arguments that may occur January 12; a day after the new moon. This is when Venus squares Uranus and is all about expecting the unexpected in areas of love and money.  Venus will also conjunct Pluto which means something hidden could be revealed all of a sudden; again, both in love or money.  Hopefully, it is not long lived therefore being a hiccup in the celestial transformations.

The New Moon signals a time of beginnings. There is an urge to take and begin something new– take a risk, live in the moment, dance to your own drummer. What do you want to build in your life? What prophecy do you wish to become noticeable? The New Moon begins a new cycle.  It is the seed of the creation lunar cycle.  The chart of the New Moon is the key to influences in the coming lunar month.  The New Moon is an asking (invocative) time, and a time to express what our needs are; bestowing to the prospects available through this moon in Capricorn. The moon urges you to distinguish and honor the importance of the “other” – other people, other ideas, and other values.

Relationships are of great significance at this time, and you feel a need to share, to unite, to partner, whether passionately or through other channels. You are called upon now to work toward realizing equilibrium – stability of your inner nature and outer personality, poise of your need to take with your ability to give, steadiness of your ultimate principles with what is possible in the world. Capricorn Moon sets us straight up the mountainside toward our highest goals.

Dig in those hooves and get climbing! Reputation, success, go,go,go….. You can tackle anything. Love seriously, too. This is the time to Harvest, Pray and be Thankful, and to work on fertility and prosperity.   There are tendencies to have a highly subjective personality, to accomplish and fulfill personal plans and ideals. But there is also a tendency to react impulsively and emotionally.

Propriety and dignity in all things will be the focus – thus, expression may be difficult to express. Take all emotional situations seriously; weighing the outcome of words and actions. A greater need to be socializing around  people who are disciplined and correct is also a theme for this New Moon along with ambitiousness, practicality, and being a good leader. By nurturing others there is acknowledgment of their achievements and encouraging them to persevere. The greater need is to look to your mother for discipline and order, and you may see her as a person of high status.

With the moon in Capricorn, the trembling of Saturn is emphasized. It is time for material drive and an awareness of work and obligation.  In the search for status and financial security, people might become impervious, even heartlessly cruel, but the selfishness is a necessity rather than hostility.

The Saturn influences of Capricorn cause cynicism or pessimism to creep in.  Generally, while the Moon is in Capricorn energy is lethargic.  It is time for industriously applying to tasks while living solely in the present.

The moon in Capricorn is Determined, Somber, Indomitable, Concrete, and Capricious. You may also choose to recite a mantra every morning until the next moon cycle. Remember that with all applications of psalms and mantras achieving the desired result is depended upon the quality of intention, and when it comes to finding a satisfying relationships and success, it is of the greatest importance to begin with a clear understanding of what your goal should be. The mantras can be hard to pronounce for many but it is a powerful source of energy the mantra for Capricorn moon is:

Om Sri Shanaishwarya Namaha

(OM Sri Shan aish shwarya Namaha)

The intention of this mantra is to guard and protect and fulfill needs.

It is my suggestion that you purchase a green candle and recite psalm 117 if you find the mantras too difficult.  Make sure you take the time to write down 10 aspirations and recite them every day and word them to say I can have…

Many people have asked the question “how often they should have a reading done by a physic or a tarot reader?”  In my opinion, an in depth reading should be done every moon cycle.  Since, every moon cycle represents a change it not only affects our external forces but our internal forces as well.  Of course, we all have burning questions every now and then and it may be necessary to have a reading done more often, but sometimes we have to let the universe take its course.  When dealing with a tragic situation, it is my suggestion that before you have a reading done you must clear away negativity and fear from your emotions so that a reader can give you the clearest reading possible.

Remember, every psychic hones all their telephone readings on your energy. So remember to ask guidance from the higher power before having a reading so that you can be neutral with your energy.  The clearest answers can be given when energy is at a neutral point.  Never get a reading with your energy is scattered because you may not receive the best reading possible.  98% of all physics are empathic and clairvoyant so this energy is very important to them as well as you.   Always remember that every reader has their boundaries as to how far in the future they want to read.  This is of their choice; however, reading beyond 6 months is a very hazy situation.

Please note I am not an Astrologer, these are general tendencies which are incorporated in Vedic foresight which enhance and bring the distinction between the East and West.

To understand how this moon would impact your life astrologically. you may contact my recommended adviser Leslie Hale (here) or contact other astrologers on my recommended astrologers and advisers here.

Vedic reading is very unique, its greater value is to enhance the actions beyond the word it bring explanations and closures.  It brings complications to the forefront to bring easier resolutions.  It brings two paths which focus on what is now and what it could be in the future.  But most of all it freezes time like it is in warp energy so that proper evaluation could be made as to which path could deliver positive results or manifested results.

Wishing you the best of the new year and the most wonderful 2013.

Harvest Moon: Full Moon in Aries September 2012

Full Moon in Aries

September 29, 2012

By Maharani Rutan ©

On September 29, 2012, 11:19 pm EST and at 8:19 pm PST the full moon will move into 7 degrees Aires.  Which means early born Aires will be affected the most by this full moon as well as those with Aires in their chart, depending upon the orb. The effect of this moon will begin as early as September 27 or 28, 2012 and can be felt up to the 12th of October.

Even through letting go of the old and coming on to the new could be a positive aspect for many during the full moon. The journey for those that have Scorpio in their chart has already begun.  Read more about this journey, Saturn enters Scorpio, said so beautifully by Leslie Hale here.

Full moon usually causes people to react in the extreme. This type of drama may leave some to feel anxious and jittery. These feelings will be more overwhelming than normal since the full moon directs our feelings and character.  Often times when the moon is full we have a tendency to bring out our emotions which we may have previously been restrained due to the cosmic pressure of the moon.

The Harvest moon, as it has been named by folklore because it falls right after the Fall Equinox, is a time to clean up and place your life in order.  The full moon is all about healing old wounds and realizing what needs to be done.  Clearing away the old garbage out of the home, car and office will also help you clear away the baggage mentally to find and clear space for new inventions as well as directions.

Full Moon comes to bring bright light in life; to see things that may not have ever been seen before.  The full moon also brings simplicity and independence.  It’s time for generosity and cultivation in others and one’s self. Mental thinking and planning is the key to full moons.

Full moon is also a time to gather possessions, plan for the new harvest, taking care of your self and find the wellbeing that nurtures. The full moon also forces eccentricity within to seek out self-determination of uncertainties as well as toxics in one’s life.  Additionally, to cling onto people who have meaning, many people many become very outgoing, extroverted, or progressive and noncompliant. The energy depends upon how this energy is handled.

During the full moon you may be prone to mishaps, wounds, bruising and bleeding excessively. Take a lot of vitamin C and exercise, both physically and mentally, to be centered and focused. The full moon calls upon us to balance in one’s life internal and external and recognize what is possible with a realistic approach.

The Full Moon in Aries marks a time of improved action and ambitions. People may feel more eager and be more energetic. This is a good time to begin new projects or to try to implement desired changes.  Like a Ram, some of you may be impulsive about things without considering consequences and these actions can affect you in the future as well as those around you. Be careful of egocentricity, and rage. At the same time Aries brings out our deepest emotions, and it will be passion and brave to face anyone that challenges them.  Don’t fight the energy, be strong and force yourself to begin something new.

Since moon in Aries represents strong-minded, tenacious, short-tempered, bold, and dynamic, it is my suggestion to remain impartial.  This full moon is astonishing to many signs. It will still affect all cardinal signs (Aries, Libra, Cancer and Capricorn) or those that have Aries in their charts.

It is my suggestion that you purchase a white candle and carve your name one through the wick.  Anoint the candle with lavender oil sandalwood and chant the psalm 39.  You may also choose to recite a mantra every morning until the next moon cycle. Remember that with all applications of psalms and mantras achieving the desired result is depended upon the quality of intention, and when it comes to finding satisfying relationships, it is of the greatest importance to begin with a clear understanding of what your goal should be. The mantras can be hard to pronounce for many but it is a powerful source of energy the mantra for Aries moon is:

“Om Suryaya Namaha”

(Om sur-va-ya Na-ma-ha)

This mantra is the dispeller of obscurity and ignorance.

Again do not forget to make a list of 12 affirmations and chant the affirmation on the time of the full moon.  Light a pink candle carve your name on the candle anoint the candle with lavender oil (it can be purchased at a health food store or a new age shop) and chant psalm 111 on the night of the full moon.

Please note these are general tendencies and not particular to any person.  I would suggest that you contact an Astrologer for the latest update on how to handle this energy and what to expect.

Additionally I do not claim to be an Astrologer but as a Vedic reader we graph a celestial transformation as a utility to give you the most objective path way to a spiritual light which is only handled by the universal powers.

Again, if you are an Aries or have Aires in your chart I would encourage you to get an update on your self reading or get one to see where your direction leads to change it to make sublime changes.
