Ignite the fire within: New moon in Aries 2015

nmaires415New moon in Aries

April 18, 2015

By Maharani Rutan©

After very difficult eclipse energies some of us are still suffering. The eclipse on March 20, 2015, brought new beginnings to spirituality and thinking of what needs to be evaluated (read about it here). Additionally, the lunar eclipse on April 04, 2015, brought forth volatile energy with some relationships coming to a better understanding while others parted ways (read about it here).

Energy will soon settle down; just in time for flowers to bloom and birds to sing. Venus entered chattery Gemini on April 07. Gemini’s often change their minds but they love to talk research and have rhetorical conversations. I would not be surprised if many people make plutonic friendships that may last for a long time – and it does not matter if it is with the same sex or opposite. But be careful, you may become fickle minded. However, Mars is in the sign of stubborn Taurus, which could mean that many of us can be stubborn and because we are, confused if we should get into a relationship and sacrifice our time or stay in a friendship to foster and have fun.

The void of the moon creating a new moon in Aries will be on April 18, 2015. The darkness will cast upon our skies at 2:57pm EST and 11:57am PST. Even though it will not be noticed it will impact all those that have Aries as their sun sign at later degrees and those that have Aries in their chart. Its position will be at 28 degrees in Aries depending upon the orb.

Two weeks ago, the Spring Equinox ushered a time to begin new projects. Aries energy and the spring equinox will force us to look at things that do not work and discard them if they are not working in your life. Nearly all astrological signs are going through difficulties, except Leo’s who are sitting pretty with Jupiter going direct in their signs as of April 8, 2015 and will go retrograde in Leo on July 18, 2015.

The new moon gives us the initiative to think of new things and put them into action. The energy is influential enough to give the motivations that the right choices will be the correct passageway. Small modifications will lead to larger changes and taking risks. It is a time for manifestation, planting seeds, and making plans.

When the moon is in Aries there is no time to contemplate – act now, making sure our necessities are met. Aries’ yearn lust and passion. Their needs for freedom, self-assurance, and dispositions becomes the number one factor in their transformation. There is a need to take control of responsive situations which leads to finding resolutions to difficult problems right away. Due to the nature of Aries individuality is collective. A motherly figure will help portray independence through discovering one’s self with high energy.

The Moon in Aries marks a time of increased accomplishment and ambition. People may feel more fervent and be more energetic. This is a good time to begin new projects or to try to apply favored change. Like the charging Ram that represents Aries, people may be motivated to dash robustly and impulsively without bearing in mind the consequences to both themselves and others. Caution needs to be taken to avoid egotism and fiery behavior. The Blazing Aries Moon brings enthusiasm to our emotions, instant feed backs, and courage in the face of any adversary! Give in to the energy… endeavor for new beginnings.

Since the moon in Aries represents imprudence, tenacity, hot-temperateness, braveness, and dynamic behavior, it is my suggestion for us to remain neutral. This moon is extraordinary to many signs. It is my suggestion that you purchase a white candle and carve your name through to the wick. Anoint the candle with lavender oil and sandalwood oil, and chant Psalm 39.

You may also choose to recite a mantra every morning until the next moon cycle. Make sure you focus on your needs rather than your wants, as the dedicated healing only occurs on a selfless view:

“Om Suryaya Namaha”

(Om sur-va-ya Na-ma-ha)

For Hindu practitioners, this kind of energy can be very unsettling and could cause anger between you and someone that you care for.  Therefore, I am suggesting an additional mantra to get through the intensity and get to the other side.

Om Shante Prashante Sarva Mahna Upsha Mani Swaha

(Om Sha nte Pra shan te Sar Va Mah na Up Sha Ma ni Swa ha)

This mantra is the dis-speller of incomprehensibility and illiteracy.
The intention of this mantra is to keep us in balance and from losing our temper through darkness and unfocused energy.

With every moon cycle, remember to cross out the old affirmation even if there is the slightest change and create new ones. The perfect number for aspiration is 10.

This means to list 10 aspirations and recite them every night until the next moon cycle. Remember never make the affirmations begin with “I can”, it must be worded “I can be any one I want to be”

Affirmations for the energy of the New Moon in Aries

I use my narrow-mindedness and rage helpfully … to make productive modifications in my life.
I esteem the stimulus behind my hungers and cravings … and use this influence sensibly.
I use my self-assertion to build, control, and uphold the conditions I want in my life.
I offer brave, optimistic leadership to myself and others with my selections and methods.
With joy and gratitude, I takeoff my imagination …to initiate the vital foundations and projects of my life.

This new moon will tug heart and spirit carrying optimism and healing; however, it is also action-oriented. It prompts values in our lives to start something fresh, perhaps a new venture or a new relationship (or bring back an old one) – or is it that you want your individual autonomy now? It is about reinventing and reconsidering; allow yourself to let the past go and be excited about what is yet to come.

To really understand this energy, the new moon was at this exact degree on April 19, 2004.  This energy will be back at the exact degree again April 20, 2023 (in 8 years) the infinite number.

It is time to let go of the ways that were not working and release toxic relationships that no longer work by committed compassion and moving on. This new moon brings forth those matters while coming to terms with harsh truths and release because this is one of those things that continues to hold you back.

Please note that I am not an astrologer, rather, I am a Vedic reader and astrological venues are the groundwork utilities that enhance Vedic reading. It is my recommendation that after you have spoken to me, you contact my recommended astrologers: Leslie Hale or Xtrology or my recommended advisers for the best advice possible during Saturn, Mars, and Mercury retrograde and how it will affect you.

Remember, Astrology tells you what could happen and Vedic readings give direction to what you can do about it. Vedic readings will NOT tell you what to do; rather, they tell you the forks ahead to enable you to make the best decision which is honorable to all.

Wishing you all the best of this wonderful spring season. Enjoy your time because within 3 weeks the trickster is coming to poke you again.

Tears of Joy or Sadness: First Full Moon 2015

fm20151First Full moon of 2015

Full moon in Cancer

January 04, 2015

By Maharani Rutan©
As 2014 caused us discomfort, uncertainties, and difficulties, it was a wake up for humanity. The first full moon of 2015 will enter our magnificent sky with its grace and luminosity. This Full moon is a Capricorn-Cancer axis at 14 degrees, depending upon the orb. The brightest point will be on January 04, 2015 at 11:53pm EST and 8:53pm PST.

The moon rules Cancerians and our emotions are ruled by us. Cancers are known to embrace family and structure, now it is time for Cancers to step up and say which family they will hold on to and which one will go. All those that have planets in Cancer or are influenced by Cancer planets will have to burst out everything they have been holding inside of themselves. Being open and honest is not always easy because they often don’t know what it will be like to leave a situation.

This emotional, maternal moon is also named the Old moon or Full wolf moon. The name was adopted through nature by Native Americans. The full wolf moon is named due to the frigid cold and lack of food for the wolf and one could hear the howls of hunger and thirst across miles. Some say that the old moon emphasizes that the old one is going out and a new moon will bring love and nature.

Cancer is a nurturing sign. Wherever the placement of Cancer is in one’s chart is where Cancer rules. For example, if a person has Cancer in their second house and the second house focuses on money, this usually means that they will be working in areas of humanity, education, or anywhere where mothering, nurturing, and the intuitive side is needed.

During the full moon tides are usually high as are the emotions of people. A couple of days before the full moon emotions get heavy, especially for water signs (Cancer, Pisces and Scorpio) and their opposite fire signs (Aries, Leo and Sagittarius); these astrological signs are the most effected.

During every full moon, as I have a water trine chart, I usually feel an enormous headache beginning 3 days before and going straight into the full moon. The gush of the pressure of the moon and the earth on other side causes severe dizziness. Sometimes tears have known to fall down with no apparent reason and my dreams are the most translucent. But most of all my psychic antennas are hot wired and often I finish sentences for my clients and my family – before they say anything I say it for them or answer them.

On the other hand, if you are a fire sign perhaps anger, resentment, and irritability will be your nature. Remember, it is not what is happening and remember that this shall pass. Stay grounded and have your feet soaking in kosher salt through the waxing stage of the moon.

I would not be surprised if there is flooding, snow, or slush starting January 2 and for two weeks outwards. But, just as our air brings her wrath into our earth, human lives will dive into the depths of their own emotions. Cancer moon often brings a lot of water, snow, and surging rain which could cause devastation to hills and mountains. It could also cause damage to our own emotions.

But, for everything that is destroyed there is an opportunity to rebuild with grace and joy. Full moon continually brings endings leading us to a new beginning by the next moon. This full moon will highlight how self-assured we are to the feelings that are attached to our message, how much we share, and how much we relate to others. Full moon can be an incandescent time; however, it all depends upon our practicality with the energy.

The Full moon gives a clue for us to increase in value the connotation and purpose of what has been given to us and what is around us. To study what it means to be conscious of the reason. It is as influential as everything the moon stands for. This moon rules areas of society, ideas, and karmic recollections. Domestic issues will devour most of us during the full moon in Cancer. Spirits and past recollections will magnetize us to people from our past. These approaches happen on a karmic level that allows us the wager of going in reverse through saving things and people from our past; in many cases we thought we have let go yet were unable to before.

Cancer moon contribute that chance with a little help from Venus in Aquarius which will allow the sit down we need with people and friends to bring closures or new openings. Cancer being a very emotional sign will allow lots of breathing room in areas of relationships. But it is not like a Cancer to be cold and uncaring however, if you upset them the cold shoulder might as well be.

A full moon in Cancer is also a dreadful time for many, especially if they cannot unite with people from the past. This will cause us to gorge in things such as drinking, eating, or sexual liaisons, which we all later regret. It will be a bad hangover which may take months to get over.

The cancer full moon is also very distinct as the energy will allow for autonomy from old injuries which may have triggered painful offenses and the helplessness to excuse and move past vicious things. The energy of this moon will provide the restoration required to release oneself from emotional constipation. To only imagine a world without handcuffs or to return the energy back into the self so that the energy can be placed somewhere else resulting in beautiful things for the future.

This moon lets that poise escalate to where it is perhaps not our anxiety to hold on to but it’s the views of our situation that make a person feel the way they do. Whether it be people or places, the voices have caused a lot of pain and unreasonable decisions based upon others values and norms, not your own.

Hang on tight though! Allowing the harmful energy is not always stress-free, since it has been steady for so long. Visualize for a moment an addict going cold turkey. It can be the most difficult healing that a person has to endure. Similarly, love can be just as co-dependent if it is makes us feel good. Therefore, letting go will cause many to be temperamental and irrational. Give yourself and others time to rebuild.

Conviction and faith in your own intuition will be the key to future opportunities. Open your awareness and emotion wider then ever before. If you need to cry, then cry. Let it all go. Your mind, soul, and especially psyche, will let you know that it is OK to do so and the cries are not of pain but of love. Show your love to someone with the gentlest spoken words and the hurt will moderate through empathy. However, if there is indecisiveness or animosity then the spoken words will cut like a knife, deeper than the depths of any soul.

The primary step of letting go is to substantially do it. Cancers love to favor and love their homes. The power of this moon will give the energy needed to clean the home of clutter, finish the projects which were not finished, and bring beauty and light of the full moon into the home. With all this power in the air don’t overlook going into your shell too from time to time. Cancers love their a loneliness; this is how they love themselves and are accepting of others. Through the separation there will be answers to recognize the past and plant the seeds of tomorrow.

Cleansing the body, mind, spirit, and physical world will lay a solid groundwork for tomorrow. However, Cancerians know that tomorrow cannot happen overnight; it is going to have to happen one day at a time.

The importance of this moon is not just about feelings but it is also about loveliness. Cancer is a sign of fostering and love of a mother to her son or daughter. It’s a karmic link, a martyr, and devotion to safeguard the family. The need to defend may be so strong that there may be tendencies to bring out the absolution such as eating, drinking and spending too much. It is a mountain to release feelings and at the same time trying to appreciate what you have.

Your birth mother may play an important role in your life while trying to balance the deep meaning of love with punishment. Memories of optimistic childhood familiarities will create artistic reactions, thus triggering the psychic energy which will be directly connected to the birth mother. The feelings may be very dependent and stubborn but the need to follow them is more rewarding.

The moon in Cancer brings encouragement, feelings, compassion, dreams, and emotional issues in our lives. The Watery Cancer Moon brings up recollections of childhood, warm motherly arms, and tender touches for loved ones. Our emotions spin in a sea of primordial metaphors…. watch out for grumpiness! There may be become unsubtle and a need to hide in your shell sometimes. You may be a strong protector of family and customs. Although your temperament may become unpredictable, people will come to you eagerly for encouragement and care. You look to a sage or an elder for shelter and encouragement. Care needs to be taken to avoid hurting the feelings of others as well as having your own feelings hurt.

Since Cancer is ruled by the Moon, lunar stimuli are strongest and most easily expressed when focused through this sign. The moon greatly influences personality, the subliminal, and the emotions which cause primitive actions. When the Moon is in Cancer it is a time of stressed emotions and countless compassion with people responding to life through feelings rather than purpose. During this very susceptible period be careful not to emotionally wound others or allow yourself to be injured.

Generally, people will be submissive, laid back, emotional, devoted, and cherishing. Unfortunately, this motherly expression of caring is often expressed with food and it is easy to overeat. Cancer is a nurturing sign and the most fertile sign of the zodiac. With the moon in Cancer, it is a good time for creating life and for growth. Don’t be surprised if you find some news about a new baby or give birth; it could also be weddings and reunions. It is all about families and children.

Moon in cancer represents Encouragement, Delicate, Gentle, Imaginative, and Dreamy. It is my suggestion that you purchase a pink candle and carve your name, and the name of your loved one, through to the wick. Anoint the candle with lavender oil or inspiration oil and chant Psalm 70. You may also choose to recite a mantra every morning until the next moon cycle. Remember that with all applications of psalms and mantras achieving the desired result is dependent upon the quality of intention. When it comes to finding a satisfying relationship with another person, it is of the greatest importance to begin with a clear understanding of what your goal should be. The mantras can be hard to pronounce for many but are a powerful source of energy. The mantra for Cancer moon is:

“Om Hrim Shrim Klim Chandrakia Namaha”

(Om Shreem Chan dra kia nahm – ah- ha)

Om, and salutation to the creative abundance that is the very form of the universe.

This Mantra opens the universal forces in your life and allows the righteous changes to occur. With every moon cycle, remember to cross out the old affirmation even if there is the slightest change and create new ones. The perfect number for aspiration is 10. This means to list 10 aspirations and recite them every night until the next moon cycle.

Remember to make the affirmations begin with “I feel the resolute. I protect, save, nourish, and assimilate all of life’s emotions. I have a desire to connect to the source of subconscious and be reserved, quite, and love without conditions.”

Please note that I am not an astrologer nor do I claim to be. These are general predispositions; not necessary or precise to the individual recipient. However, it gives a basic indication of what to expect during the lunar cycle. To understand what to expect in your particular situation, you might want to consult with an astrologers Xtrology of Hollywood or Leslie Hale or any of my recommended astrologers (here) who can help you fill in the voids of confusion. You can find them at my useful link page here.

Vedic readings are very distinctive in many senses; it incorporates the stages of the moon and generates a reading which is based upon actions and reactions to more ordinary parts of our lives which we can govern. This switch is activated through engagements and responses which create a masterpiece of destiny, karma, dharma, and spiritual transits which often cloud us. Our life is not just about considering the past; it embraces the present so that we can choose to shape a future of our love. A Vedic reading grips those values and helps create that picture perfect world through spiritual messages.

Wishing you the most memorable 2015 and that you are in touch with your emotions and how they affect others.
