Escape the Enigma: New moon in Gemini 2017

New Moon in Gemini

May 25, 2017

By Maharani Rutan©

In less than four weeks, spring will officially be over, and we will be blessed through the summer solstice. But we might as well call it summer as the weather pattern has shown us that heat is coming. At the same time, we can officially wave goodbye for now to Mercury Retrograde and get “back to life, back to reality”-soul-to-soul.

The new moon in Gemini will void our skies on May 25, 2017 at 3:45pm EST and 12:45pm PST. It won’t be anything dramatic; it will be subtle at 4 degrees in Gemini depending upon the orb. Also, this will affect early born Geminis and all those that have early degree Gemini planets in their charts.

This moon has mixed results, one aspect according to Vedic Philosophical Ayurvedic Theories (VPAT), Mars has already entered Gemini around the 17th and continues to be there until end of July. Gemini loves to talk and they can be quite friendly by nature, therefore Mars being in Gemini is not so bad. Mars has a positive interpersonal relationship with Guru (Jupiter), Chandra (Moon), and Suruya (Sun). Thus, the new moon in Gemini will be dancing with Jupiter. This means that not only can you evoke something new that day but possibly something new plus one.

By now you are probably scratching your head or rubbing on your chin thinking o.k what’s wrong with that? Oh no, there is nothing wrong with that. But Gemini’s do not like bad news; they hold up their hand and do a “whatever” a lot when they hear it. But, it must be told.

On the same day, we have double layer chocolate cake with New Moon in Gemini and Mars in Gemini, with Jupiter as the frosting. The problem is that someone put paprika and salt in it. Shukra (Venus), often referred to as women or love, is crashing through, and creating a disturbance of other voids in the sky. Love and money could cause fixation, power struggles, and dead end relationships that will burn out or go up in smoke. Then a day later, here we go again. Mars does not get along with Saturn, resulting in another clash which will cause difficulties, barriers, and postponements. To put it nicely, we baked a cake, and baked it again and again, and we just could not figure out what was wrong. Have you ever try telling Gemini to stop doing something? Well, they might as well sit down and try again later.

Perhaps when things move into the first week of June it may be better. All mutable signs are encouraged to keep their cool if communication is not resolved in the next two weeks. If not resolved, don’t expect it to happen until first week of June.

The closer to your birthday the moon falls, the more intense the changes. Many of you may begin to feel this as early as 5 days before. However, even if your birthday does not follow the New Moon, it is advisable that you look clearly at your astrological chart to see how you will be affected by the New Moon. This can be done by contacting my recommended astrologers Lee Stillwater or Leslie Hale.

The New Moon signals a time of manifestation. There is a desire to search and begin something groundbreaking. The new moon begins a new cycle and is the seed of the beginning lunar cycle.

The chart of the New Moon is the key to opening doors for the coming lunar month. The New Moon is an asking (evocative) time, and a time to formulate what our requirements are permitting, according to the forecasts available (through Gemini this month). There may be exaggerated, twisted conduct patterns within yourself or those around you.

With the Gemini influence of seeing both sides of everything, we feel more supple, changeable, and garrulous. It is a good time to compose, take care of errands that remind you of mathematical problems, make speeches, conduct demonstrations, or just let philosophies fly through the clouds. Educational pursuits and mind competitions may become more used to justify emotions. An impetuous tongue may hastily express things that are only true for the moment.

A constant need to direct your feelings will allow communication to flow. This will encourage the reasonable solution for any emotional struggle by jumping right into providing a helpful attitude. Feelings may switch on and off, whereas numerous characteristics of a condition may force the bending and adjusting to others. This type of energy could make people appear indecisive or two-sided, but is really the sign of an open mind. Fostering others by remaining welcoming in communication will generate an urge to keep in closer contact with a motherly figure.

The Gemini moon arouses your interests. Thought-provoking ideas appear continually, like doors opening to expose yet other doors. Now is the time to make friends, perhaps via e-mail or telephone. Discover your garden, learn from it, but don’t plant.

The Moon in Gemini also brings time of communication and flexibility. People may feel very easy about being intrusive. This is a time to follow academic interests and to take care of communications, both verbal and written. Like the Twins that symbolize Gemini, people may be able to see both sides of a problem, but they may also be inconsistent and fidgety, unable to make up their minds. It is my suggestion to bring out those aspiration papers again; cross off the ones you have already have changed and make new ones.

Also, I suggest the purchase a Yellow candle, carve your name on it, and anoint it with sandalwood or frankincense oil and chant the following chant: “I ask to find the inner light of my creativity. I wish for the universe to help me achieve the recognition that I desire. I pray that I may find the strength to take chances with my creativity.” Also add Psalm 7 every night until the next new moon phase. The two mantras for the Gemini moon are:

Om Shreeng Aing Sauh

(ooom shhhhhriiiiing Aiiinnnngg Suuuahh)

Om Kleem Krishnaya Namah

This Mantra opens the universal forces in your life and allows the righteous changes to occur.

These are general predispositions and in no way replicate the exact events in one particular chart; hence, they are used as place holders in VPAT. It is my suggestion for the latest up-to-date trends in your chart during this phase; I would suggest that you get in touch with my recommended astrologers Lee Stillwater or Leslie Hale.

Please note, I am NOT an astrologer nor claim to be one, rather, I am a Certified Vedic Philosophical Ayurvedic Reader specializing in Vedic in-depth readings. We use these efficiencies to be an inception for our readings. In the Hindu ideology, planets push the power of resistance and our free will takes the actions. Therefore, anything done through humility and nature will play a great importance in life’s positive outcomes.

May this moon bring illuminating conversations and wonderful communication skills.

To be Passionate or Passive: Flowers for Buddha: Full Moon May 2017

Full Moon In Scorpio

Full Flower Moon

Buddha Purnima/Vesak

By Maharani Rutan©

For many, this may be a sigh of relief as Western ideology forecasts that Mercury retrograde is behind us. However, according to VPAT (Vedic Philosophical Ayurvedic Theories) Mercury is one of the slowest short term planets. Therefore, equal time must be allocated for moving into the earth’s orbit, as well as for it to move out. But it is so close to completely leaving that perhaps the only people feeling this may be mutable signs (Pisces, Virgo, Gemini, and Sagittarius) and Fire signs (Leo, Aries and Sagittarius), including those that share Mercury traits.

Gazing at the sky it can be said that we are at the mid-point between spring equinox and summer solstice. This means that everyone must gear up and get plenty of rest. As the full moon in Scorpio ignites the fireworks of all the seeds planted in April, we are officially stepping into the “zone”. I will explain about the “zone” later in this blog.

The passionate and seductive full moon in Libra (Scorpio in Western) will turn the switch to the on position in the sky at approximately 5:42pm EST & 2:42pm PST, at 20 degrees of Taurus / Scorpio Axis depending upon the orb. As I was trying to analyze the algorithms it seemed that the closest we have come to this degree was in 2010, when the full moon in Scorpio/Libra was at 18 degrees, although not at the exact degree. However, those that are fortunate to be able to see this again in 2036 may be even more glorified than they will be for this one.

Zone: The intertwining between fabulous and powerful Taurus sun and Pluto will be the helping hand that we all need after a sluggish March and April. Arrival will be just in time for Mother’s Day, but I want everyone to remember this energy that you will feel. I am sure you recall that on the New moon last month I had stated to make a wish. This full moon is about the energy; it will give everyone the strength they need to make their goals real, or at least the energy to move forward. We will have something like this again on September 9, 2017. So remember what I said and write it down.

This full moon is not only giving energy, it is also an auspicious celebration in India, called Akshaya Tritiya. It is believed that any kind of business which will be started should begin on that day. It was written in history that God Ganesh (God of Wisdom and the son of Shiva) began scripting the works of “Mahabharatra”. While the scriptures were being written, all the Pandits (Priests) were sent into exile where they were each handed a bowl. That bowl was named Akshaya Tritiya; in literal terms, it means Eternal. The bowl never went empty and they never went hungry. This is a private celebration, only celebrated by Hindus and Jains. While not always celebrated throughout India, it is well known and followed.

One of my favorite spiritual days is Buddha Purnima, better known as Vesak. Including India, this is the most auspicious days as it is a celebration of the birth of Siddhartha Gautam, aka Buddha. It is also a day to rejoice illumination and loss, and the belief system of Buddhism. Buddha Purnima, based upon the Vedic calendar, celebrates that Buddha was born Purnima (full moon) and in the month of May. Therefore, it has always been celebrated in India and Nepal as the first full moon in May. Thus, this full moon brings with it grandeur, passion, spirituality, natural endings, and new beginnings; but it can be quite agitating for those who are not used to the energy.

All things convert richer and more penetrating under the light of the Full Moon – feelings and egos are magnified, and consciousness and concentration are on relationships. The energy of the light of the Moon can cause deep dreams. Love and Romance go uninhibited under a Full Moon, especially around midnight. Additionally, the brilliant light will reflect against the flowers that blossom during May, which is why this moon was given the name of “The flower moon”.

As Saturn is retrograding to the halfway mark in Scorpio/Sagittarius (VPAT), just hang on my Scorpio friends; it’s almost over, I promise. Like all Scorpios who love to dig and investigate, this moon triggers those senses; it forces one to get to the bottom of things and discover what is really going on. It’s time for psychic revelations, your psyche is triggered.

When the moon is in Scorpio, we develop supplementary, be they familiar, concealed, or enigmatic, stimuli and our psychic antennas may be activated. This is a time for functioning to uphold an emotional switch, and for working on overcoming inner pre-occupational thoughts or desires. There can be a need for distinguishing behaviors and responses that keep you locked in power struggles. This Full moon is most auspicious for the quest of your divine center and Higher Power to gradually release you from internal pessimism. Passionate Control is the emphasis.

The Moon in Scorpio marks a time of intensified passion and desire. People may be feeling more assertive and more demanding, as well as being motivated and resourceful. In general, emotions at both ends of the spectrum are heightened and likely to vary quite a bit throughout this influence. Connections on a deep level could be made with members of the opposite sex under the Moon in Scorpio. Represented by the Scorpion, Scorpio possesses a secretive and penetrative nature. Feelings of jealousy and revenge may arise, so special caution is needed to avoid confrontations. The Scorpio Full Moon can be a catalyst for power urges, which can often result in violence or even homicidal impulses.

Since moon in Scorpio represents Reckless, Willful, Volatile, Bold, and spirited, it is my suggestion for us to remain balanced. This full moon is extraordinary to many. It is my suggestion that you purchase a white candle and carve your name through to the wick. Anoint the candle with lavender oil and sandalwood oil, and chant the Psalm 39. You may also choose to recite a mantra every morning until the next moon cycle.

Remember that with all applications of psalms and mantras achieving the desired result is dependent upon the quality of intention. Also, when it comes to finding satisfying relationships, it is of the greatest importance to begin with a clear understanding of what your goal should be. The mantras can be hard to pronounce for many but are a powerful source of energy.

The two mantras associated with the Scorpio moon are:

“Om Aing Kleeng Sauh”

(Om An-ii-ii-nn kliii nnn gg Suuuua hh)

Om Narayanaya Sursinmhaya Namah

This mantra is a call to the lord of peace for confiscation of any difficulties in your way. The intention of this mantra is to keep balance and from losing our temper through obscurity and blurred energy.

The information I am giving you below is not western astrology or Vedic astrology, rather Vedic philosophical inferences based upon mathematical anomalies. The Astrological names are placeholders as named signs in which difficulties may occur.

If you are looking for a Western Astrologer, you may seek counsel with my preferred astrologers Leslie or Lee . If you are looking for a Vedic Astrologer, the only ones I know and trust are not located in the states therefore I am able to give a referral at this time.

Enjoy this full moon and keep calm as possible
