New Moon in Aquarius
January 20, 2015
As 2014, slowly moves away from us, many of us are ready to move into 2015 as of yesterday. But it cannot be easily be possible without a little bit of push, and this push is here for all of us. On January 20, 2015 our moon will go void to form the most beautiful super new moon in Aquarius at 0 degrees. Though many of us never see the new moon, we can always feel it. At approximately 8:15 am EST & 5:15 am it will be a little dark outside as the earth covers the moon. The last time we felt this degree, or close to this degree of the moon in Aquarius, was in 2004 when it was at 1 degree. Unfortunately, it will never be at this degree again in our lifetime.
Supermoon has just recently become popular, though it has been around for ages. Whether it is a super full or new moon it does not matter; what matters is to understand that whenever there is a super moon, the moon is at its closest to Earth’s orbit. Because of the pressure of the water and the moon, water and beaches may cause problems. Most new moons are not really seen by the human eye because of the distance from the sun. However, during a super new moon it can be seen. We will have 6 super moons in 2015. Three will be new moons and three will be full moons; one of which will be during an eclipse.
However, not to worry you will have plenty of time to see the moon as Mercury retrograde is forcing us to slow down, introspect, and most of all take a deep breath (Read more about it here). We will have plenty of time to make sure we see the next full moon and the new moon as Mercury is not going to be direct until February 21-22, 2015 (which includes the ghost period as well as the calculation of the Vedic transformation).
The new moon gives us vitality to look at everything in a new perspective and take risks where everything is possible. The Aquarius moon’s primary focus is on doing things which are group related, whether they are projects or small things such as shopping. Every group activity will be blessed during this new moon. The new moon encourages you to take any risk, seize every day, and look at needs and opportunities available to everyone. But it especially blesses Aquarius to start over.
Aquarius people are transforming and really considering what they need to change. Not only is mercury in Aquarius (read more about it here) but the sun is in Aquarius and Venus is still in Aquarius until the 29th of January. This transit is about considering love, and what you love to do, but knowing you cannot do this alone. Perhaps the people that may be going through a deeper transformation are Leo’s and Sagittarius. All Leo’s, or all those that have Leo in their charts, may be feeling difficulties in areas of luck and money. On the other hand, a deeper transformation is occurring for Sagittarius while Saturn is in their sign. Saturn wipes anything that holds us back and it is about catch and release.
Aquarius is the sign of the zodiac which represents the Cooperative Mind, social consciousness, and detailed arrangements. It is to consider what you can do alone; independence and individuality will emancipate those that have been trapped under other people’s ideas. This new moon asks us to reflect to find a way to heal differently, envision your life differently, and how as a collective society we can work together to visualize how we will unite to repair old wounds and live by principles rather than emotions.
Aquarius is a sign of emotional detachment. Often, these people tend to remain neutral to almost everything because everything in their eyes has a reason. This is time to do things that require the collective mind, nurture your friends, and remain objective. The energy is just right to channel logical pursuits. You will find yourself most satisfied being around friends, and their company may satisfy the emotional voids felt by letting go of things. Through gratitude and being nostalgic there is a great care of fostering and fairness.
Hence, that this energy is not just the individual focus of Aquarius, perhaps all fixed signs (Scorpio, Leo, Aquarius and Taurus) could detach emotionally and remain very objective to avoid arguments. There is a deeper purpose where self-expression will be done with logic and rationalization rather than emotions.
New moon in Aquarius is about instabilities in our lives and to find balance through rational thinking. Aquarius energy often causes us to be aloof which can lead to loneliness or feeling alone, but once we realize that socializing, making changes, and being continually kind will be the cause of energy to feel less lonely.
Since moon in Aquarius represents Disobedient, Harsh, Coherent, Welcoming, and Changeable it is my suggestion for us to continue being well-adjusted during this energy. This new moon is bizarre to many astrological signs. It is my recommendation that you purchase an orange candle and carve your name through to the wick. Anoint the candle with lavender oil or sage oil and chant the Psalm 51. You may also choose to recite a mantra every morning until the next moon cycle.
Remember that with all solicitations of psalms and mantras realizing the anticipated result is reliant on the superiority of intention. When it comes to finding nourishing interactions it is of the greatest importance to begin with a vibrant understanding of what your goal should be.
The mantras can be hard to pronounce for many but are a powerful source of energy. The mantra for Aquarius moon is:
“Om shri Shanaishwaraya Namaha”
(Om shri shan-ish-waraya nahm ah ha)
This mantra produces the quality of friendship within oneself, including others.
The purpose of this mantra is to balance your pathway in life by helping you comprehend the teachings you have set for yourself and through karma, the pessimism will be overcome.
As with every moon cycle, remember to cross out the old affirmations, even if there is the slightest change, and create new ones. The perfect number for aspiration is 10. This means to list 10 aspirations and recite them every night until the next moon cycle. Also remember to never make the affirmations begin with “I want”, they must be worded “I need to be shown how to retain”.
Many people have asked the question how often they should have a reading done by a psychic or a tarot reader. In my opinion, an in depth reading should be done every 40 days or two full moons to revisit the situation. Of course, we all have burning questions every now and then and it may be necessary to have a reading done more often, however, sometimes we have to let universe take its course.
When dealing with a tragic situation it is my suggestion that before you have a reading done you must clear away negativity and fear from your emotions so that a reader can give you the clearest reading possible. Remember, all psychics base their telephone readings on your energy. So be sure to ask for guidance from the higher power before having a reading so that you can be neutral with your energy.
Please note, I am not an astrologer no claim to be one. For the most up to date astrological tendencies you may contact any of my recommended astrologers here.
Vedic reading is very exclusive where it shapes a diagram of choices and permits the receivers the influence to make selections based upon the planning. Astrology is used too as groundwork to embrace the energy within the cosmos.
Wishing you the most wonderful journey through this friendly new moon, be cautious of relationships and communication, and breathe through until February 21, 2015.
