New moon in Leo
July 26, 2014
By Maharani Rutan©Finally, some calming effect to many people and society. This moon comes with brilliance and peace. Our relationships with others are changing before our eyes and it always brings positive things.
Leo’s love their family and new things, and this placement comes with beautiful surprise for Leo’s. The void of moon will affect all early born Leos between 0-4 degrees depending upon the orb and it will void the sky at 6:42 pm EST and 3:42 PST on July 26, 2014.
The New Moon empowers many of us to look at life in a new way and allow the soothing influence and wisdom to create new beginnings. The energy is just right to make the modifications that are necessary to begin something new or explore new opportunities. It could be as simple as arranging furniture in a home to feel unrestricted or starting a new business. However, know for sure that the changes are those which have been put off due to procrastination or fear. The heart is letting the instincts signal the time to make changes and say “I am what I am”.
The New Moon supports all ventures, expression and apparitions. Even if there is disappointment there is no chaos to make you feel that it was a catastrophe. Rather, it was an experience that needed to be learned. There is even a greater need to bring music, art, and creativity into the home and environment. And hey, if you want to paint your head pink, go ahead do it (make sure it washable in case you change your mind)!
One of the most awesome gifts that the universe can give is also Jupiter in Leo. For the past 2 years Jupiter, a planet of luck and expansion, will be moving into your sign on July 16/17, 2014. You will see how what you touch is turned into gold and it’s a beautiful 14 year cycle which will bring godsend wish fulfillment. If it is money, a job, or a move, whatever you plan this time God won’t laugh, I promise. Because your heart is in the right place and you wish no one harm. Also, the more fun, and humanitarian the project is, the more prosperous it will be.
The Leo moon brings with it purpose, magnetism and governance. This will be influenced by affectionate, desire, and fulfillment where creativity, integrity, and bounteousness will be lionized. This is the best time to look for close relationships or bring peace to your relationships.
To top off this beautiful gift, Venus, Goddess of love and affection, will be moving in Cancer; it’s about family, it is about romance, but be careful. Cancer does represent over indulgence and there could be the possibility to gain weight and be a little lazy.
The Leo moon often leads people to feel that they have to be the center of attention and must continually receive gratitude. If they are not given this credit they may act childish. This could be in the form of being feisty or over dramatic; creating love or clashes. On the other hand, Leo’s often compliment people and give positive acknowledgement when they need it. They are great cheerleaders and people pleasers that bring out the confidence and courage in others. They are also very family-oriented where mommies are seen as very humble people and they hold the individuality, friendliness, and gifts from their mothers or a motherly figure.
Since last December, Saturn has been retrograding in Scorpio which slowed everything down for them. This beautiful transit, which is often referred to as the most difficult and most inspiring transit, entered Scorpio November 2012. Read more about it here.
Scorpios may have had to move, started a new relationship, got engaged or married, got a new job or left an old one; it could even be their organization that went through a shift. Whatever the case may be, now Saturn pushes Scorpio to RISE! Patience is going to be your virtue; you may find that the job you wanted or you may hear nothing. The effort that you give yourself is what you will get in return at the end of December 2014. To find out more about this transit I would recommend you talk with Leslie Hale here, or my recommended astrologers here.
The Leo energy can sometimes cause us to be more obsessive, stubborn, proud, aggravated, egotistical, selfish, or condescending. It’s harder (but not impossible) to make changes or be supple. The more affection, sympathy and support are practiced during the new moon phase, the more idealism will come of it.
The moon in Leo is Spirited, Daring, Dramatic, Proficient, and Organized AND UNPREDICTABLE. It is my suggestion that you purchase a Green candle and carve your name through to the wick. Anoint the candle with lemon oil or Lavender oil and chant psalm 65. You may also choose to recite a mantra every morning until the next moon cycle.
Remember that with all applications of psalms and mantras, achieving the desired result is reliant on upon the quality of purpose. When it comes to finding satisfying relationships, it is of the greatest importance to begin with a clear understanding of what your goal should be. Never pray for someone but pray for peace for everyone so that the person in your focus also receives the same without being selfish.
The mantras can be hard to pronounce for many but are a powerful source of energy. The mantra for Leo moon is:
“Om Sri suryaya namaha”
(Om Shree sur-ya-ya nam-aha)
This mantra will aid greatly in the peaceful and harmonious transition to new and positive energy states. For those that are proficient in mantra chanting and Sanskrit ideology, and have their Padma open through years of practice, you might want to consider reciting:
Om Hrim Shrim Klim Sri Surya Swaha
(Om h rem sh rem cal aim Sur Ya Swa Ha)
one full mala per day or 101 recited daily
This mantra will bring light and deliverance to your life with all the might and power of the universe.
With every moon cycle, remember to cross out the old declaration, even if there is the slightest change, and create new ones.
The perfect number for desires is 10. This means to list 10 aspirations and recite them every night until the next moon cycle. Remember, never make the affirmations begin with “I want”, it must be worded “I need to be guided.”
Please understand that I am not an astrologer; however, Vedic readings integrate the dynamism of astrology and bring to the reading predetermined complication and dynamics for free will choices.Vedic readings do not tell you what to do; rather, determine a possible path which might be taken and allow free will choices to resolve conflicts before they occur.
Think of Vedic readings as the GPS navigator and astrology is the vehicle. Without a vehicle you could still get to your destination but it may take much longer. Even if you have a vehicle, this does not mean that you can’t get lost. But sometimes if you knew the road it makes life much simpler. This is why astrology focuses on the moons as well as the sun placement to bring the most directional aspects for beneficial journeys mathematically and Vedic readings provide the choices.
Therefore, to have the best results it is complimentary to have an Astrological reading prior to your Vedic reading and keep them separated but being able to know the far future including the present day so that we can change the outcome dynamically.
I only wish that you make the best of this energy and spend more time with the people that mean the most to you.
