Serendipitous& Spiritual love: New Moon in Pisces March 2014

New Moon in Pisces

March 1, 2014

By Maharani Rutan©

The new moon sets the stage to a new spiritual awakening when it enters Pisces at 10 degrees depending upon the orb.  This new moon will void the sky on March 01, 2014 at 3:00am EST and 12:00am PST.  The similarities of this moon can be reflected back to March 2011 when the new moon entered Pisces at 13 degrees.

Any time there is a new moon or full moon in water signs expect massive surges of water or snow, floods, and large waves.  Several days after the new moon in Pisces 2011, a tsunami hit Japan which caused massive damage causing the city to rebuild itself. The weather on the east coast not eased either, one storm after the other has affected salt supplies and cause damaged to streets and some have even died.  So perhaps it’s a wake-up call to bring new beginnings to appreciate what we have and make it a beacon call from the higher power to always be spiritual.

With every new moon we are questioned to look at actions, reactions and how we handle conflict, love, and spirituality.  Usually, when the new moon enters Pisces many call it a spiritual moon because everyone has Pisces somewhere in their chart. This is because the Universal “God” is a Pisces and we are his/her children. Thus, this unconditional love and new beginning forces a spiritual love.

It’s a time to be more loving towards yourself as well as others.  This new moon will give enough energy to stop any self-destructive activities, dependencies, or behaviors that have stalled lives of people around us as well as us. The moons energy will allow the awareness to use our strength to connect to our highest psyche – God, to help us to manifest our dreams.  However, while Mars slows us down Saturn, the Karmic God of lessons began to retrograde backwards and remains in Scorpio.

A few days ago Mars turned retrograde in Libra and will remain there until May 31, 2014. Mars usually retrogrades every two years for 10 weeks.  This may cause many of us to be tired, withdrawn, frustrated, angered, or annoyed but Mars is affecting Libras, or those that have proportionate charts in Libra. However, Mars does not have to be negative. It gives many of us the opportunity to look at ourselves, the way we react to situations, and consider our consequences before we act upon them.  Self-accountability can be difficult when we are stuck in a pattern of behavior or thinking.  Mars can also bring out those hidden desires but allow us to experience them in a healthy, natural way.

Saturn entered the sign of Scorpio in October of 2012; any time any planet goes backwards it always asks us to reconsider what we have learned as we continue to grow.  Saturn is about hard work, difficult changes, and often it can feel like someone is peeling your skin. However, at the end of the day when Saturn (Shani) leaves, he exits with a wonderful present at the door.  Read more about it here.

However, Mercury is still retrograding and according to Vedic analysis it will continue to retrograde until March 22, 2014 (Read more about it here) this will continue to cause communication delays, relationship issues and slowdowns of every kind.  Read more about it here. The energy is so sluggish that thoughts of uncertainties, confusion, chaos, and sadness are natural as we look at light in a completely different way.

Almost everyone will be affected by this new moon in one way or the other. Whether this is through Mars, Saturn, or this moon, circumstances and world view will defiantly be a catalyst to change, either physically or psychologically.  The adjustment will open many doors to medicine and spirituality.  The greater emphasis will be where Pisces is prominent in one’s chart.  It is vitally important to understand the Pisces affect and how in-tuned you are to be psychic sponges.

The spiritual moon will give the power forcing us to act and appreciate that we are all a part of an unknown and reawakening.  The energy will give the ability to hear the sounds of direction which should be contained.  This moon will enhance dreams and shock the mind to a new direction in life. The old way of life must die.  Thinking patterns must also be clinched knowing that this is the quiet before the dawn. The theme will be to denote life as if it can really be touched through expression and imagination.

The New moon will signal a time to weed things with consideration and unconditional love.  To be able to recognize that people are doing what they can with what they have.  It’s a good time to absolve those who have hurt you.  It is time to let go of expectations if it means you have to cry and let it all go so that you can begin a healing process. It’s a time for destiny, the eye of infinity, how you live your life, and the sensitivity in your heart.  There is a greater need to renounce with an open heart and go beyond time itself and journey through the spirit.  Embrace the love you have for someone and be the psychic sponge for those that deserve healing energies. Give yourself the familiarity of new beginnings.

The new moon in Pisces normally is a time of tranquility, devotion, and the planting the seeds for spring. It is a time of earth rejuvenation when the first scents and stirrings of spring are so provokingly close. It’s also a moon of Shiva who abolishes our imperfections in order to bring spiritual growth and progress. Shiva is the light that brings the higher place in our lives to hold life with humbleness, love, compassion, accepting, and sympathy.

The Pisces new moon represents a time of very enormous outlook and responses. Self-destructive impulses can arise for those in the grip of cynicism.  For many, it becomes more difficult to appreciate and value the quality of life. The power of emotional energy can be helpful if directed into pioneering activities and self-healing. However, there is a strong desire to simply slip into interference. It is better to indulge in constructive pastimes rather than yield to more vicious, distracting activities.

Gloomy tendencies can easily dominate under this New Moon. The influence of this New Moon can be especially difficult or demanding for those who were born under a New Moon phase, as well as for those of the mutable Sun Signs Virgo, Gemini & Sagittarius. Also, for those whose birth Moon is in Pisces, this New Moon can represent a critical time for potential accidents, hurts, negligence, and the undertaking of rash choices or judgments.

The Watery Pisces Moon feels everyone’s blues with a kind and insightful heart. Give to others, share your dreams, and create from your deep thoughts. Don’t let your wandering heart get lost!  The Moon in Pisces marks a time of thrilling compassion, melancholy, and spirituality. People may become more insightful, compassionate, and creative. As creativity will be enhanced, this is a good time to explore musical talents and other artistic endeavors. Represented by a pair of fishes, Pisceans are self-sacrificing and sacred, often strongly insightful, and they are receptive to the collective cataleptic.

While the Moon moves through Pisces, people may feel dedicated and gentle but also delicate, unreceptive, and fearful. Dreams and memories may stir during this influence. Neptune brings a leaning towards the psychic synthetic which rules Pisces. Thoughts are strong when the moon is in Pisces.  There is a sharp sensitivity to music and other vague forces.  Tendencies are to be open, spiritual, and self-sacrificing.  The moon in Pisces adds a developing manipulable that can create feelings of powerlessness, drifting into withdrawal as an emotional protection.  People may feel submissive emotionally, mild, caring and joyful but too easily dispirited.  Some might experience stirrings of vague memories (often identified as past lives) or insights into spiritual meanings of current situations.

The moon in Pisces can be considered a personal new moon.  The opportunity to question how everyone is in our lives and how personal we are to them was the theme of the Full moon.  The moon in Pisces questions how spiritual is the life’s journey? It’s about bringing us closer then it will let go. It will bring us closer and repeat until our psyche is triggered to flow like a fish in the water. The moon is assisting us to shape our lives for the following year.

Question what you have learned in the last year. Do you see anything that is similar each year? As the past moves away from us the details that used to be important are no longer as vital as they once were.  When the same opportunity arrived for you three years ago (New Moon in Pisces 2011) did you cultivate and take care of it? And how was this path in the winter of 2012? Did it stay? If it did then how did you foster it? If not what did you do? These are all questions which should be answered honestly inside yourself.

The energy of Pisces intensifies change for tomorrow.  It’s time to love those who love you, let go of hurt and pain of others, and inspire yourself.  Imagine for a moment you are walking on the beach, as you walk you leave footprints and the waters waves wash them away just like this moon does.  Leave the past behind.  Be the change and move towards your destiny. Meditate more. Reconnect with people who are around you.  Focus on things that have been a trials and tribulations in your life and find the spirituality in the lessons being learned.

The moon in Pisces is Subtle, Artistic, Psychic, Vicarious, and Imaginative. We must remain focused and use our physic abilities to move towards our decision-making. It is my suggestion that you purchase a Purple candle and carve your name through to the wick.  Anoint the candle with Sage oil or Lavender oil and chant the psalm 08.  You may also choose to recite a mantra every morning until the next moon cycle. Remember that with all applications of psalms and mantras, achieving the desired result is dependent upon the quality of intention. When it comes to finding satisfying relationships, it is of the greatest importance to begin with a clear understanding of what your goal should be. The mantras can be hard to pronounce for many but are a powerful source of energy. The mantra for Pisces moon is:

“Om Nama Shivaya”

(Om Nah-Mah Shee-Vah Yah)

This Siddha mantra uses the universal elements that rule each charka: Earth, Water, Fire and Air. This is also a time of Mahashivratri for most Hindus and thus a propitious time for renewal and rebirth for many.

With every moon cycle, remember to cross out the old affirmation even if there is the slightest change and create new ones. The perfect number for aspiration is 10.  This means to list 10 aspirations and recite them every night until the next moon cycle.  Remember never make the affirmations beginning with “I must”, it must be worded “I will be guided.”

Please remember that I am not an astrologer, rather a Vedic reader and there is a vast difference.  Astrology opens the door into the unknown future which allows me to show you the forks ahead and how best to understand the energy forces through Vedic Readings.

Many people have asked the question how often they should have a reading done by a psychic or a tarot reader.  In my opinion, an in depth reading should be done every moon cycle.  Since every moon cycle represents a change, it not only affects our external forces but our internal forces as well.  Of course, we all have burning questions every now and then and it maybe necessary to have a reading done more often, but sometimes we have to let Universe take its course.  When dealing with a tragic situation it is my suggestion that before you have a reading done you must clear away negativity and fear from your emotions so that a reader can give you the clearest reading possible.

Remember that every intuitive bases all their telephone readings on your energy. So remember to ask guidance from the higher power before having a reading so that you can be neutral with your energy.  The clearest answers can be given when energy is at a neutral point.  Never get a reading when your energy is scattered because you may not receive the best reading possible.  98% of all psychics are empathic and clairvoyant so this energy is very important to them as well as you.   Always remember that every reader has their boundaries as to how far in the future they want to read.  This is their choice; however, reading beyond 6 months is a very hazy situation. Our free will plays an important role in our destiny and we are able to change anything.

Let this new moon be the spiritual awakening which you have been waiting for and be the path of light to many around you.

Remember always do on to others as you would want done on to you and always appreciate, recognize and be thankful even if the circumstances are difficult and unbarring.

Embrace love: Full moon in Leo Valentine’s Day 2014

Full moon in Leo

February 14, 2014

By Maharani Rutan©

On February 14, 2014, a loving full moon in Leo enters our atmosphere to bring love and brilliance to our hearts.  This is a Leo/Aquarius axis at 26 degrees depending upon the orb.  This magnificent moon will light up the sky at approximately 6:53pm EST, and 3:53pm PST.

According to native tribal writings, the first full moon in February is known as the “Storm Moon or Snow moon” this is because severe weather patterns often cause difficulties for hunters and gatherers to move around as expeditiously.  This is a perfect match to all the weather patterns that have hit the east coast and the jolt of snow and blizzard like conditions that have closed down businesses and caused problems on the roads.

This moon will defiantly give blessing from all the difficulties of January and part of February.  However, with Mercury in Aquarius, the emphasis is on innovation, breaking the rules, and looking at logic. However, it is still backwards in time until March 20, 2014 (Vedic).  Additionally, Venus will be direct in a few days where things will be a little bit better in areas of love and money, but at the same time, Mars will also turn retrograde in less than 2 weeks.  With mercury retrograde expect people from the past to reconnect, communication problems, and misunderstandings.  As it moves into Pisces, there is perplexity in areas of spirituality which could also cause problems in questioning faith or logic, read more about it here.

When Venus is retrograding, changing the way one looks, such as a new hair cut or new clothing, interpersonal relationships may also cause problems. Mars is hostile energy but often suppressed during retrograde; all the aggressions and suppression bears its ugly head but it is time to breathe and withdraw from confrontation. During Mars retrograde, emotions, from anger to passion, are overwhelming therefore, passive aggressive personality feeds this retrograde period.  Be sure to be very cautious around relationships during this time and perhaps the Full moon in Leo will bring some kind heartedness in many.

Like everything that transmutes within a certain period of time, humanity also evolves.  The full moon forces this evolution by creating an astrological gravitational orbit pull between the moon, Earth, and the Sun. As the moon shifts behind the Earth it appears to have an illumination cycle which is considered a “Waxing” stage.  As the moon moves further behind the Earth the Sun’s glow will illuminate the visibility of the moon making it look like a large white spot in the sky.   This gravitational pull affects the weather patterns which can result in high tides (great for surfing); hence humans and animals will also feel this pull, which can cause cantankerousness and high emotions.  The full moon explains many activities that have been a trigger to events from human psychosis to romance.  This is not a negative dissolution, rather a positive.

Perhaps there will be no notice of these effects (depending on how powerful the Moon is in your Astrological chart), but there is no uncertainty that this energy creates an inner pull, fullness – and may help us to connect physically with others. Everything becomes clearer and more intense under the light of the Full Moon – feelings and self-esteem can become quite extravagant, and there may even be more focus to bring harmony and passion in the area of relationships. The energy is so intense that luminous dreams can be expected.  Bleeding and hemorrhaging is more likely during a full moon, so take care. This is the time to gather, ruminate and be grateful, and to work on prosperity and accomplishment.  Love and romance go wild under a full moon, especially around midnight. In a full moon you may become highly detached, clear minded and aware of your own needs as well as the needs of others.

Often full moons are compared to chapters in a book; the notion of creating new chapters in our own lives.  For every full moon we create a thesis which means we plan a change, logically knowing something has to go because things are not working the way it was.  Whether it is the way we look at circumstances or deal with problems in our own lives, the transformation is a must.  As the moon begins to move from light to darkness and creates the metamorphosis to a New moon we create antithesis.  The powerful energy of the new moon will give us the clearness we need to find out if our thesis (awareness or a adjustment) is possible or if it is a denial which causes a reaction, and we begin to plant the seeds.  As the moon orbits to support itself into a waxing moon we are reaching to solve struggles between thesis (ideas or a change) and antithesis (what we need to do to make it happen or what won’t work). This synthesis will allow the veracity to form new ideas while solving issues that do not work in our lives. In easier terms, we could end a chapter in our lives or even began a new one.

The Moon in Leo marks a time of ambition and magnetism. Ruled by the Sun, Leo creates a power of warmth, desire, and preference. People may feel enthused, eminent, and liberal. It is a good time to chase romance, be collective, and to help others. Like the Lion that symbolizes Leo, people may feel self-confident but also yearn for appreciation and acknowledgment. Care needs to be taken to avoid overdramatic displays in order to grab the spotlight or leadership. There is an emotional need to shine and be praised by others. Expressions of feelings may be in a childlike manner – either playfully or spectacularly.  There is a natural tendency to be around children. Nurturing others by giving approval and inspiring them to be tough, brave and valiant is the key of Leo’s strength. There is also a desire to view a mother, or motherly figure, to be grandiose, outstanding or as an admired person, and look for freedom, warmness and strength in that relationship.

The Leo energy can sometimes cause us to be more prejudiced, tenacious, honored, annoyed, arrogant, narcissistic, patronizing.  It’s harder (but not impossible) to make changes or be flexible, since the Moon is the closest ‘Planet’ to Earth, and this satellite literally zips around the Zodiac, completing its circuit in less than a month. It also touches us more deeply than most Planets. The influence of this FULL MOON can be especially difficult or challenging for those who were born under a FULL MOON PHASE, as well as for those of the fixed Sun Signs [Leo, Scorpio, Aquarius and Taurus].

The moon in Leo is Playful, Brave, Intense, Professional, Organized, AND TEMPERAMENTAL. It is my suggestion that you purchase a Green candle and carve your name through to the wick.  Anoint the candle with lemon oil or Lavender oil and chant the psalm 65.  You may also choose to recite a mantra every morning until the next moon cycle. Remember that with all applications of psalms and mantras achieving the desired result is dependent upon the quality of intention. When it comes to finding satisfying relationships, it is of the greatest importance to begin with a clear understanding of what your goal should be. The mantras can be hard to pronounce for many but are a powerful source of energy. The mantra for Leo moon is:

“Om Sri suryaya namaha”

(Om Shree sur-ya-ya nam-aha)

This mantra will aid greatly in the peaceful and harmonious transition to a new and positive energy state.

With every moon cycle, remember to cross out the old affirmation even if there is a slightest change, and create new ones. The perfect number for aspiration is 10.  This means to list 10 aspirations and recite them every night until the next moon cycle.  Remember, never make the affirmations beginning with “I want”, they must be worded “I need to be guided…”

Please note, I am not an Astrologer nor claim to be one.  The Vedic readings incorporate the energies of moon and sun to guide the reader to bring the most cultivating answers to everyday changes. This type of energy is an assistant to the respondent in considering their forks in the road (life) to make your own destiny through answers of the future.  Hence, if you are looking for magnified events which would affect your journey I would suggest you make an appointment with my recommended astrologers and see what journey is up ahead for you.  I am just your guide to show you how your actions and decisions may cause conflicts and to mitigate the circumstances before they do so.

Let me be your guide in the journey which we call life. I hope that it is the best journey you have ever taken with gratitude, peace, love, humility and honesty which embraces changes to bring sublime bliss.

I hope that this full moon bring peace, love and tranquility within your home
