Full Moon in Taurus
November 17, 2013
On November 17, 2013 at 10:16 am EST the full moon will enter the sign of Taurus at 25 degrees. The last time we have felt this much energy was in November 2010 read more about it here.
There has been so much going with the orbital energies which have impacted us directly. From the eclipses to mercury retrograde, even if it does not seem that things are moving fast enough, they are getting faster. This energy has defiantly left us to think about what if’s. The eclipse in Aries transformed many cardinal signs into moving away from giving away personal power to bringing it back home again. On the other hand, the November eclipse brought the truth to assist us into moving forwards. Whatever that was hidden is now revealed; however, it means we must open our eyes. As Phoenix rose through death and transformation, Taurus brings many of us back to nature.
Venus is natural and comfortable in Taurus and reminds us of what we need to appreciate. We will be given opportunities to be happy with who we are and how we are going to get there. This moon should also make us feel a little more comfortable than we had been previously.
Awaiting the beaver to prepare for the winter is the indication that the Full Beaver moon surely will be the activation that also prepares us for the winter. Within one weeks’ time homes will be filled with the smell of turkey and the warm aroma of cinnamon and spice inviting us to get comfortable at home.
Everything becomes richer under the light of the Full Moon – passion and self-confidence can become quite exaggerated, and we may have more awareness and focus on relationships. There may be a feeling of powerful energy by the light of the Moon and have more luminescent dreams.
Bleeding and hemorrhaging are more likely during a Full Moon, so take care. This is the time to harvest, Pray and be Appreciative, and to work on usefulness and success. Love and Romance go wild under a Full Moon, especially around midnight. In a full moon people often can become highly disconnected, clear minded and aware of their own needs while wondering how to fulfill other’s needs.
This moon is quite unique in many ways. We are forced to postpone our own happiness to allow our soul to evolve through nurturing and kindness to others. This personal evolution has oozed a lot of pain and sacrifices which, in fact, has allowed us to share our learned experiences with others – this also helps us to understand ourselves.
Under this full moon we are conscious of our principles and primacies to create our own world. It is a garden of our lives while the Scorpio New Moon and eclipse gave us the energy to plant seeds and end things – now it is time to bring magic and cleansing to those seeds. Read more about it here. The Scorpio/Taurus powers demonstrate a pure relationship between the seeds and their roots. In easier terms, it means that we are prone to look at priorities of Taurus and our mystic of Scorpio. There absolutely is disillusionment; however, there must be a complete focus and self-control in the areas that require change. Not just any change, but concrete change.
Energy may be placed towards logical pursuits to solidify already knowledgeable education or skills. In addition, many will seek out the company of friends to fill emotional voids. There may be predispositions to nurture people and simply accepting unusual behavior because after all, people are people. This is simply due to the pot we stirred on October 18, with a lunar eclipse (read more about it here) and total solar eclipse and the New moon entered Scorpio Read more about it here.
Scorpio is ruled by Pluto (the underworld star) which constrained a revolution and caused us to reconfigure ourselves. Taurus represents things that are modest and the roots that bind us to the physical world through our own needs and pleasure through practicality. This energy is quite unique because it calms the energy down as it is ruled by Venus. This full moon will give the energy to calm down and relax. The Taurus energy will give rise to the Phoenix out of ashes.
The Moon in Taurus pushes for a time of carefulness and reasonableness. People may feel more old-fashioned and persistent. This is a good time to finish projects that have lingered, as people may be more reliable and systematic. Like the stubborn Bull representative of Taurus, people may be bull-headed — hesitant to compromise and be argumentative. Care needs to be taken to avoid decadence and inconsistent concerns or desires for material wealth.
Since the moon in Taurus represents Calm, Concrete, Corporeal, Tolerant, and Tenacious, we must use the practical senses. No matter what astrological signs you hold, if there is Taurus anywhere in your natal or progressed chart you will be directly impacted by this energy. The Moon transiting Taurus gives us a very diverse feeling. Moon in Taurus is inclined towards gratification, persistence, carefulness, and safeguarding. This is a good time to take a retreat or to schedule a lazy day of rest and sensual enjoyment. It’s a time to get into your physical senses and to enjoy the physical world around you through your senses. It is also a good time for environmental or preservation efforts. The theme seems to be constancy and holding fast. This is not the time to clean out closets and drawers. You’ll want to keep everything.
You may choose to recite a mantra every morning until the next moon cycle. Remember that with all applications of psalms and mantras, achieving the desired result is dependent upon the quality of intention. When it comes to finding satisfying relationships and success, it is of the greatest importance to begin with a clear understanding of what your goal should be. The mantras can be hard to pronounce for many but it are a powerful source of energy. The mantra for Taurus moon is:
Om Sri shukraya Namaha
(om Shri Shu Kra Ya Nama Ha)
Remember the 12 aspirations. Don’t forget to cross the ones you have already accomplished and make new ones. Don’t forget as well to manifest matters concerning materialistic things at this time. And most of all, don’t forget to light a white candle that day; carve your name on the candle, anoint it with Frankincense oil, and chant Psalm 65 three times.
Please remember, I am not an astrologer nor do I claim to be. However, the Astrological transformation is a pivotal utility necessary to incorporate the best results in Vedic Sanskrit readings. Vedic readings are based upon Indian sages who use the planetary influences to be more informative of contributions to mankind through morality and understanding of karmas. It is through Vedic Sanskrit readings that we can encompass how our actions cause reactions to conflicts which can be easily be avoided through understanding and standardizing our egos.
Enjoy this moon as if was the first moon of your life and know that people and places in your life that had to go, should have gone. No one will place undo pain that you cannot handle and every pain brings strength of deliverance and knowledge.
Wishing you and yours a warm, safe and loving Thanksgiving.
