New Moon in Gemini

On May 20, 2012, a beautiful ring will appear in our skies with the Annular Solar Eclipse in Gemini. The new moon will create a beginning and solar eclipse will heighten the effect.  This wonderful symphony will occur at approximately 07:47am EST and 3:47 am PST.   The eclipse will occur in 0 degrees Gemini.  It will be an amazing reset button for many.

The stunning part of the Annular Solar Eclipse happens when both planets the sun and the moon are in lined at the exact position. The line of the planets will cause a ring due to the placement and the size of the moon which will appear as a fire in the sky.  Even though the moon will enter our skies while the sun raises, those in the United States will not see it until the early afternoon in the United States.  This type of eclipse has not happened for 18 years in the United States and another like this will not occur until October 14, 2013.  The eclipse will begin its journey in Southeast China and continues its journey from California to Northern western Texas at 8:39 pm.

This is the third series of eclipses that have affected mutable signs since December 2010 read about it here.  Those that will have direct impact from this eclipse will be those that have planets at 25 to 30 degrees in Taurus, Leo, Scorpio and Aquarius and those that have early planets in mutable signs (Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius and Pisces).

The effects of this eclipse can be felt as early as 5 days before (May 15, 2011). The discomfort of the energy of the eclipse will be felt by everyone; however, the intensity of the eclipse depends upon the house that the eclipse falls in your astrological chart.  Every eclipse has a significant bearing on revolution in our lives for at least 6 months; therefore, early born Gemini’s as well as those that have primary planets in Gemini may feel this effect more so than ever as well as late mutable signs.

This eclipse does not single out Gemini’s or just mutable signs, it will affect many especially those that are in relationships that are poisonous in nature.  Every eclipse is relationship oriented whether it is romantic, family, business or associates it has no bearing.  I would suggest a consult Leslie Hale to see how this eclipse will affect your interpersonal relationships in general and set up a 6 month in-depth reading with me.

For example this eclipse will affect my 12^th house.  The 12^th house in astrology focuses on looking at the past to build a foundation for the future. When a person has Gemini in the 12^th house this often represents solitude. When true ideas arrive when we are alone and the difficulty begins when we are misunderstood. The 12^th house also represents family and difficulties with family members or association of the family.  Often related to siblings or relatives, even debt of karma owed to family members.  Those that have Gemini in the 12^th house operate on intuitive impulses rather than thinking things through.  They are highly psychic and flow with creativity where the public and public speaking becomes a president in their lives. The 12^th house is also where Neptune tends to reside which is the most misunderstood house this means that most people with Gemini in their 12^th house naturally feel alone and vulnerable.  In ancient times eclipses were considered as omens and difficulties during the time of the eclipse and often in the current time it is as equally thought of.  Eclipses usually trigger major devastation such as negative weather patterns which could be such things as floods, earthquakes, and snow storms.  Often it is seen as irritable time for even humans the energy could create unrest politically, financially and even emotionally. The solar eclipse is an eye opener or a nudge as I had mentioned to realize that world we once knew is changing, either we change with it fight it.

The eclipse in early Gemini is definitely geared towards development through confidence and strives; there is a need to ask our selves what have we done to get where we need to go? And what more is needed to get where we want to go? It is time to gather material, form a plan, and make choices.  Because the evidence to form plans in our lives are so scattered the tendency to be frustrated could make it difficult to make choices.  This is very similar to the eclipse felt also in December 2010.  Read about it here.

The eclipses do not have to all be destructive; eclipses can bring new social position, and a need to take inventory to make enhancements to stability.  It is a time for maturity, inhale information and acquire knowledge of the spiritual and knowledgeable information and people.  And exhale the importance of sustainability and stability.  If in a career there was a great deal of effort and hard work than definitely the heavens will promote you, however, if it was revolving around just getting by then the angle of the eclipse will show you the direction your lacking.

Solar energy is peripheral, shielding, apologetic, active – and echoed and expressed from within our life force. This eclipse is particularly objective and purpose oriented – and our ideals and resolve can be enhanced and intensified. We begin to deeply consider our contributions in the world, and the full expression of our humanity.

This 6-month period is a time to focus on career status, social status and endeavors. This particular Eclipse chart places a huge planetary emphasis in one area of the Zodiac Gemini; however, Virgo, Pisces and Sagittarius are highly emphasized guarding against out-of-control patriotism, misunderstandings and over-sensitivity about boundaries. Along with the solar eclipse the heightened new moon will bring a new beginning to set out a passage of new projects and endeavors. The energy is just in the right place to bring growth, development and creating a physical world which one calls their own.  The restless will for the impulse to take action and begin something new, be it a small change in the way you approach your daily routine, or a whole new path on your journey through life. The energy is right for making spur-of-the-moment moves and following your instincts. This is the time to act from your heart and trust.  Know that the Cosmos will support you as long as your intentions are true.

What do you want to create in your life? What vision do you wish to manifest? The new begins a new cycle.  It is the seed of the beginning lunar cycle.  The chart of the New Moon is the key to influences in the coming lunar month.  The New Moon is an asking (invocative) time, and a time to formulate what our needs are according to the opportunities available (through Gemini this month).

The moon in Gemini is the sign of the Twins, on one side is the physical aspect of your life and on the other is you’re emotional.  Study, Trim, Acquire, Gather, and most of all communicate.  Open your self up for the most powerful conversations; get together with groups, brainstorm.  After all the information is collected make a new beginning, but be sure to bounce ideas back and forth with people.

Gemini’s are quite impulsive, bright, imaginative, resourceful, inventive, visionary and deadly in their creative power.   Gemini’s are known for the astuteness and it’s the most analytical signs but they are strangely corky and impersonal at times. Sometimes the energy is such a nuisance its best to ignore it at times. Their famous question is “but why?” when sometimes there are no answers.

The energy between the moon and eclipse may cause need to continually express feelings. Emotional feelings are not consistent and often switch between on again and off again. This could make people appear fickle or two-sided, but is it you or them.  Be open-minded. The Moon in Gemini also brings time of communication and flexibility. People may feel very loquacious and inquisitive. This is a time to pursue academic interests and to take care of communications both verbal and written. Like the Twins that symbolize Gemini, people may be able to see both sides of a problem, but they may also be fickle and restless, unable to make up their minds. Caution needs to be taken to avoid saying something in haste that will be regretted later.

Full Moon in Scorpio

On May 05, 2012, at approximately 11:35pm EST and 8:35pm PST we will have the most magnificent sight in the sky.  The skies will shine with the super moon in Scorpio at 16 degrees plus or minus 6 depending upon the orb.

Super moon happens when the moon is almost at 90 degrees from the earth, though no one can really know what it feels like to have a moon so bright and close to the earth.  Some say the worlds disasters happen during the super moon.  Some blame the super moon for the sinking of the Titanic and some say the last time was January 15, 1930 with the minor disturbance of earthquakes.

“May’s full moon occurs on May 5, at 11:35 PM EST, at 16 degrees of Scorpio, and it is considered a ‘Supermoon.’. A supermoon is when a full moon makes its closest approach to the earth on it’s elliptical orbit leading to the term coined by Astrologer Richard Nolle 30 years ago. Some astrologers believe supermoons may be associated with increased risks of earthquakes and volcanic eruptions.”Leslie Hale

Some scientists predict the shape of the moon like this was on March 19, 2011 and it would repeat again on May 06, 2012.  This means it could be determined that gravitational pull could cause a surge of water which caused the March 11 tsunamis in Japan? According to astrologers, and scientist there are a total of 4 super moons in 2012, which are April 06, 2012, May 06, 2012, June 04, 2012, November 14, 2012 and December 13, 2012. Which means two of these moons happen during a major eclipse period June 04 and November 14.  So does this mean that we will have natural disasters 4 times a year when dealing with water or tides? Personally, I say not.  Sometimes in life everything does not revolve around logic.  Rather a wakeup call from the higher power to appreciate what we have rather than take an advantage of it especially when it comes to the Planet Earth.

However, in the eyes of Vedic readings, this moon will be very significant to Scorpios. Trust me when I say anything goes.  Having 4 planets in Scorpio and the sun, the moon, and Neptune is crazy enough.  But fearing just adds to the negativity, keeping in mind this moon is about rebirth, regeneration and integration.

Pluto rules Scorpios which dominates areas of darkness and light. It is a flare between good and evil.  Scorpios drive on intensity, passion and mystery. Therefore, if any one has the sun or the moon in Scorpio this event will be even more intense than any other. Ask yourself how much you can burn or rather salvage.  From ashes to ashes Phoenix will rise.

Keep in mind that just because a chart does not have a sun in Scorpio does not mean that this moon will not affect you.  As a matter a fact, if there are any planets in Scorpio it will be ignited by this super moon. Do I have your attention now?

For Scorpios and ascendants of Scorpios, you may have misunderstandings with your partner, there is something concealed – it was not really hidden but it was chosen to be overlooked. Whatever you find out it should be of no surprise. But, if you are in a healthy relationship and married it could mean that you have the edge this month, communication with your partner will be warm and close. If you are not married, an engagement or a wedding is in the air for some of you.  What ever it is, romance has no shortage.

When the Moon is full, the gravitational pull between the Moon on one side of the earth and the Sun on the other has a great affect on our own bodily water levels, as well as the earth’s.  Many may not feel the effects (depending on how powerful the Moon is in your Astrological chart), but there is no doubt that this energy creates an inner pull, fullness – and may help us to connect psychologically with others.

Everything becomes clearer and more intense under the light of the Full Moon – emotions and egos can become quite inflated, and we may have more consciousness and focus on relationships. There is a burst of energy from the light of the moon and perhaps there may even be more vivid dreams that night. Bleeding and hemorrhaging are more likely during a Full Moon, so take care. This is the time to Harvest, Pray and be Thankful, and to work on fertility and prosperity.

Love and Romance go wild under a Full Moon, especially around midnight. In a full moon you may become highly objective, clear minded and aware of your own needs and the needs of others. Traditionally, the early Europeans knew that the full moon was a time for plants and herbs to be harvested and dried as the richness of the first harvest was realized.

In Native Lore, Full Moons are known as the moon of ripening sweet berries. As ripe berries were gathered and used for paints, dyes and as a source of Vitamin C. Health and creativity are emphasized and there is a sense of well-being and drama to this lunation.

The Moon in Scorpio marks a time of powerful passion and desires. People may be feeling more forward and more challenging, as well as being provoked and practical. In general, emotions at both ends of the spectrum are discriminating and likely to vary quite a bit throughout this influence. Connections on a deep level could be made with members of the opposite sex with the Moon in Scorpio.

Represented by the Scorpion, Scorpio possesses a secretive and penetrative nature. Feelings of jealousy and revenge may arise, so special caution is needed to avoid confrontations. The Scorpio Full Moon can be a catalyst for power urges, which can often result in violence or even homicidal impulses.

The intention of this mantra is the to keep up in balance and from losing our temper through darkness and unfocused energy

With every moon cycle, remember to cross out the old affirmation even if there is a slightest change and create new ones. The perfect number for aspiration is 10.  This means to list 10 aspirations and recite them every night until the next moon cycle.  Remember never make the affirmations beginning with “I need”, it must be worded “I will need to be shown how to retain”

New Moon in Taurus

The new moon in Taurus at 1 degree (give or take 6 degree orb) will void across the sky on April 21, 2011 at 12:05 am EST, 9:05 pm (April 20, 2011) PST.  Those that will be affected by this moon will be those that have 0 to Taurus anywhere in their chart, additionally, Cardinal signs that have 25 to 29 degrees and fixed signs those 0 to 7 degrees.

Mercury retrograde has already begun moving forward to station and has reentered Pisces where it will remain until April 24, 2012.  This means that most of us will have emotions that we are uncertain about and there are still good possibilities to revisit things from the past.  Read about Mercury retrograde here.

New moon is influential in many ways, often times known as wish fulfillment days. This means if the wishes are without partiality and selfishness then they would most likely manifest. Sometimes it can cause confusion and our needs become a conflict with our wants and needs.  The new moon is also a time of regeneration – a time when fresh starts are needed.

The New Moon signals a time of new beginnings, a  need to take the incentive make something big and if it is a small change or even a new way of looking at life.  It is time for a brand new journey into material, academic or new projects. Many people have asked the question how often they should have a reading done by a physic or a tarot reader.  In my opinion, a Vedic in depth reading should be done every moon cycle.  Since every moon cycle represents a transformation, it not only affects our external forces but our internal forces as well.  Of course, we all have burning questions every now and then and it maybe necessary to have a reading done more often, but sometimes we have to let the universe take its course.  When dealing with a tragic situation it is my suggestion that before you have a reading done you must clear away negativity and fear from your emotions so that a reader can give you the clearest reading possible.

On April 06, 2012, we will have a full moon transiting in Libra at 17 degrees.  The full moon will illuminate the sky around 3:19 pm EST and 12:19 pm Pacific transiting 6 degrees orb.

In earlier centuries, seasons were actually calculated by the way the moon and the sun rose and set.  April was a very significant time for many people as it signified the coming of spring. Often, the full moon in April was called the Full Fish moon; this is when fishing was its best because the fish swam up-stream to spawn. It was also called the Pink moon due to the pink hew which the moon reflected on moss. It is also a time to bring green back into our grass.

This will affect all those that have Libra in their charts as well as cardinal signs. With Saturn in Libra, this moon is going to be one of those push-pull moons between responsibilities and relationships.  This is a relationship moon; not just romantic, but business also.  It will question the essence of responsibilities within every relationship.

When the Moon is full, the gravitational pull between the Moon, on one side of the earth, and the Sun on the other has a great affect on our own bodily water levels, as well as the earth’s. You may or may not notice the effect (depending on how powerful the Moon is in your Astrological chart), but there is no doubt that this energy creates an inner pull and fullness which may help us to connect psychologically with others. New Moon in Aries

On March 22, 2012, at 10:37am EST and 7:37am PST we will bring fresh ideas through the New Moon in Aries.  This new beginnings will transform all those who are in the early born Aries.  Especially those 2 to 4 degrees give or take.

By the time the moon turns void to create a New moon we will pass Spring Equinox which is a brilliant time to begin new projects.  And the Sun has already moved into Aries.  Aries energy and the spring equinox will force us to look at things that do not have balance, which means anything thing your life that is not working you will be forced or given guidance to change. But to add to the spring equinox Mercury also enters Aries March 12 through April 04.  This will also give the added bonus to slow down and reconsider, reorganize, rethink anything that focuses around thinking and contemplating things that do not work. This transit of Mercury/New Moon with Uranus will push Cardinal signs or those that have Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn to slow down to make sure there is a consideration to think things through otherwise it will create many problems in the future. Mercury Retrograde

Ghost Period March 1, to March 12, 2012

On March 01, 2012 beings a ghost period of mercury turns retrograde again, sending communications, missed appointments, mail and the www into a general snarlup!

This awkward period lasts for at least 6 weeks including the ghost period which is approximately two weeks before and after the actual period.  The most intense period of time will be from 3:49am EST March 12, 2012 to April 04, 2012 at 6:11am.  It finally straightens out on April 23, 2012, bringing things back to normal.

Mercury turns retrograde three times a year, as a rule, but the effects of each period is different depending upon which signs it falls on. This retrograde period begins in Aries at 9 degrees plus or minus a few degrees and ends in Pisces 23 degrees.

The fire and water combination can cause some major disturbance in relationships, work and the way we communicate with one another. Mercury is the ruler of Gemini a planet of communication however, being that Gemini is mutable sign.  Mercury usually affects all that are mutable (Gemini, Virgo, Pisces and Sagittarius) even if Mercury retrograde does not fall in mutable sign these people are most defiantly will feel the gilt of this slow period.

When mercury begins its ghost period or I might add the engine begins and the coal is placed in compartments of the train which has destination Pisces it has to pass through two phases it begins in Pisces crosses through Aries and comes right back to Pisces.

Mercury retrograde in Pisces creates psychological and emotional perplexity, with bizarre dreams sometimes psychic experiences.  Mental process being intertwined with emotions, we find it hard to separate thoughts and opinions from zeal and optimism.  Our rational direction can be unsteady, idealistic and overly-spiritual but it also inclines to lethargy and increases the urge to consume alcohol. Anxiety and stress even unfounded fears and mistrust are stimulated especially from working or living in hostile environment inclines to a sharp, sarcastic tongue.  Maintain solitude and poise in the working environment and do not try to read between the lines, when there is really nothing to find.

Mercury retrograde gives rise to personal misunderstandings; inconsistent, disrupted, or delayed communications, negotiations and   trade; glitches and breakdowns with phones, computers, cars, buses, and trains. And all of these problems usually arise because some crucial piece of information, or component, has gone astray, or awry.

For example Pisces is positioned in my 10^th house and means this area will be especially intense to changes and introspection.  The 10^th house usually represents my career and family.  Through mercury retrograde I can expect misunderstandings, confusion, documents lost, and communication issues perhaps even technological interferences. When Mercury moves full force in Aries it will be the opposite and more intense than anything that has ever felt. Aries is a fire sign and it is known for its recklessness which means that during retrograde period be cautious of communications.  Words may not come out right and what you thought that was said is not what was meant. These words will cut people like a knife and hurt people we don’t mean to hurt.  In the case of Mercury in Aries this will once again affect my work which means I could be just a little too forward and might end up saying things that are hurtful that does not mean its not true it just means it is the approach to communication which needs to be cautioned. This period will begin to phase out around the 4^th of April 2012.  And slowly mercury will begin to station forwards until it reaches the destination where it was on the 23^rd of April 2012.

A planet is described as retrograde appears to be moving backwards through the zodiac. This traditional concept arises in the illusory planetary motion created by the orbital rotation of the earth, with relation to other planets in our solar system. Planets are never actually retrograde or stationary, they just seem that way, due to this ocular chimera.  Retrograde periods, although often difficult for humans, are not particularly uncommon. Full Moon in Virgo

On March 8, 2012 we will be transforming as the moon turns full in Virgo at 18 degrees give or take 6 degrees plus or minus depending upon the orb.  This transit will occur at 4:39 am Eastern Standard Time and 1:39 am Pacific Time.  

This moon is also considered as a The Full Sap moon. As the temperatures begin to warm up the maple trees are ready to be tapped into.  The gush of pure maple syrups could ignite our sweet senses.  This means to tantalize our own transformations from rigidness to sweet embrace of humanity and love. 

Those that will be affected by this full moon will be Virgos as well as those that have Virgo sitting in their charts. But Virgo’s will not be the only sign that will feel the jest of this transit.  Mutable signs such as Pisces, Sagittarius, and Gemini’s will also feel this transit.  Keep in mind almost every mutable sign has been going through great transformations since 2010, I wish I could say it is the end but you are half way there.

As we transits through Virgo, we must take into consideration we are still under Mars retrograde and Saturn retrogrades and soon approaching mercury retrograde and this is causes us to feel as though things are not moving as fast enough, depletion of energy as well as money is coming in very slowly and soon our lives will slow down as we know it.  I will bring more information on mercury retrograde as time allows. 

Something’s to consider Virgo’s is that this is a test.   The last time Mars was in your sign was in the late 90’s and this will continue until April 2012. You were just getting all fired up to start new things on January 24, 2012 until you got wacked on the head to slow down. Then on February 7, 2012, it got a bit fizzer when Pisces entered your house of relationships.  Your true challenge is to accept true ideal and beauty which may not be easy because things have not been so easy for you. 

Fortunately dear Virgo will have time to enjoy and embrace this and also to introspect until April 14, 2012 and realize you have a chance to make your world and those around you a better place. Saturn going direct money may trickle into your pocket and it may be very difficult to know what the lessons are. This is a time to tighten up the belt and give to those who really deserve it.

I had a friend once tell me that because we are a image of God and God has been known to be Pisces.  Then this can only mean we all have Pisces somewhere in our chart. This new moon will affect each and every one of us.  But the magnificent new moon will especially trigger early born Pisces including those that have any planets in Pisces. This means every one of us.

Every new moon begins a cycle of new pathway rather directions, sometimes written or spiritual messages to help us walk a very deep rooted spiritual paths. Many spiritual healers believe that new moons are stages or rather new instructions to enhance us come out of our normal routine and grace forwards. But this moon is particularly different.  Many may call it a spiritual moon. It’s a time to be more loving towards your self as well as others.  This new moon will give enough energy to stop any self destructive behaviors, addictions or habits that have hindered our lives and people around us. During this transit last year, I was moving away from one company to take a breather for a couple of months to find my self to make a change.  But I knew I had some unfinished business, however, it did not stop me from searching-planting seeds.  I want to search for something that had a meaning and had lost all hope whether my search and my goals were attainable.  I had no idea of the journey Neptune was to bring me.  Though the journey was not predictable until March 2011, I knew something in my life had to change because I could no longer continue to feed something that was not making a difference in my life or life of others. Neptune had begin to triggering the conjunction of my Midheaven.

Neptune is a spiritual maker that causes confusion, and people who begin a journey of Neptune Conjuncting their Midheaven often have major changes in their careers often unexpected.   It is an intermediary stage when ideals and dreams become more real and questioning how much are we willing to compromise.

Last March I was teaching at three different institutions and felt as though nothing would ever change.  I had completely given up and threw my hand up in the air and basically said, “I give up.”  Neptune allowed me to put my hidden talent to use and I interviewed for an institution where admissions were low but compassion for their students was more prevalent.  This was time  of confusion in my career and felt as though I was just drifting like Neptune does in the ocean.

I had said to my self when I interviewed if I could make a difference but this meant that i must let and let God.  I sat in silence in the waiting area and I spoke to God and said, “If this is not meant for me God show me a way or show me a light, I have worked too hard and I am tired of being in a vacuum.”I did a mock presentation  without any plans of landing the position all I knew is I was going to have fun anyways. Of course like Neptune does everything was confusing, I could not even read my own notes.  Nothing in the presentation made sense.  I felt as though I was swimming in an ocean with no destination (Neptune trade).  Then suddenly, a light or rather what I call color which resonated from the back of the room.  It was bright as the sun and blue as the ocean. This was the  catalyst to my journey.

Unable to concentrate I set focus on the light and everything was revolving around the light.  Nothing else mattered but that light.  I continued to present without a plan, without being able to see, without a understanding all I knew is I had to go inside my self and be as creative, funny, inspiring and energetic as I could.  It did not matter if anything made sense what mattered was I created something out of nothing.  This is where my journey began and this journey continues until January 2013.

To able to understand the transits of Neptune think for a moment what would be like if you see the world through Rosy glasses? What if you see it daily? What if I said to you Neptune is Conjuncting my Midheaven, Neptune is trining my Sun and is trinening my Jupiter and soon Neptune will trine my moon.  It will not make sense unless you understand the nature of cosmos and astrology.

Neptune trining the sun can be a spiritual aspect. Imagine for a moment what it would be like if life as you know it becomes dreamy and it forces a charitable action and unselfish side where kindness could make a difference in others and the service to others reflects the character which may have been hidden from others.  Including the notion that well being of others becomes the most significant part of ones life especially those who are the closest to you, this triggers oneness with others in a spiritual level.  This transit awakens every sense of my life until January 2013.

Full Moon in Leo

On February 07, 2012, at 4:54pm and 1:54 the Full moon will enter Leo at 18 degrees (plus or minus 6 degrees this is a very inspirational aspect for fixed signs (Aquarius, Taurus, Leo and Scorpio) great endings and wonderful new beginings.

Every 29.5 days the moon opposites the sun and through the sun rays it resembles a perfect lamination disk. But the full moon was also used for scheduling and keeping track of time.  According to ancient writings the full moon helped the natives keep track of earth’s behavior pattern from weather to animal behavior. To signify when it was time to gather, hunt, fish and enjoy.

The first full moon in February is known as the “Storm Moon or Snow moon” this was a time when the weather was its worst.  Thus causing hunters and gathers to feel difficultly to move around to hunt and gather materials for the spring. This is often true today.  The weather patterns which have occurred in the mid west and north east and even south east parts of United States have felt the jolt of the snow and blizzard like conditions in the month of February.

This moon will defiantly be an eye opening for many.  On February 03, 2012, Neptune will enter Pisces and we know Neptune rules Pisces, it is a very dreamy state and will remain there for quite sometime. Saturn will also retrograde for Libra which will be a sign of relief for many until June 25, 2012. This is not a negative cancellation rather a positive the main reasoning is that light has brought a day of dawning which allows lighthearted and playful tendencies where nothing matter but the freedom of expression.

Depending upon how powerful the moon is in ones chart the effect could very by intensity but there is no uncertainty that this energy creates an inner pull, fullness – and may help us to connect with others. New Moon in Aquarius

On January 21, 2012, at 5:35 pm EST and 2:31pm PST, we will have a very friendly New Moon in Aquarius 2 degrees in Aquarius, which means those that have the sun, moon or even ascendants, descendents or any planets in Aquarius, will be affected by this moon.  Some more greatly than others but it will defiantly impact early born Aquarius or those with Aquarius in their birth chart.

Not only is it a Chinese New Year, but Mars is also retrograde stationed which means though it is a time of celebration but many of us will be frazzled when mars retrogrades in Virgo, this may be a egotistical time between being powerless and powerful.

The New Moon signals to come out and build something, to change outlook at life to restore something that has been lost or even try something all together new.  There is an impulse to take action and begin something new, be it a small modification in the way one approaches life or minor routines that has just given away and needs a whole new path on journey through life. The energy is right for being spontaneous. To take the risk.

This is time to act and trust that the risk is worth taking, breathe for a moment and exhale later. Make your dreams a reality dance like never dance before. The New Moon is an asking (invocative) time, and a time to formulate what our needs are according to the opportunities available (through Aquarius this month).

We begin our new year with a emotional full moon which will seep thorough our hearts to end the old and begin the new.  On January 07, 2012, at approximately 4:54pm EST and 1:54 pm PST we will have a full moon in Cancer orbiting at 18 degrees based upon 6 degrees plus or minus.

This magnificent moon is also known as wolf moon or moon after Yule according to the Farmers Almanac the Full Wolf Moon was named after the packs of wolfs that roomed the Indian villages in dead winter, and some referred to as a moon after Yule which basically means the old moon or a moon that starts the New Year.

By now mercury is direct and communication has gotten better and the slow pace may have allowed all of us to reflect back on the past year and look at what we want to change more so than what we are willing to accept. On November 05, 2011, Mercury the planet of communications beings its journey to retrograde station and continues to go backwards.  On November 24, 2011 the energy will be intense until December 14, 2011. And  it wont be until January 1, 2012 when things could come back to normal rather I say begin to come back to normal but it will not be completely back to normal for another three weeks. 

 Mercury turns retrograde three times a year, as a rule, but the effects of each period has different moment and different meaning.  This retrograde period will begin the journey in Scorpio which is a house of secrets and other peoples money which means Scorpios or those who have Scorpio in their charts will be begin the journey in the retrograde motion first.  There after mercury will move into Sagittarius which may cause people to be impatient and in learning. 

A planet is described as retrograde when it appears to be moving backwards through the zodiac. This traditional notion arises in the deceptive planetary motion created by the orbital rotation of the earth, with relation to other planets in our solar system. Planets are never actually retrograde or stationary, they just seem that way, due to this visual illusion.  Retrograde periods, although often challenging for us earthlings, are not particularly uncommon. On October 22, 2010, 9:36pm EST and at 6:36 PST for the second time, the Full moon moves into Aries to position it self at 29 degree.  Therefore unlike the September Full moon which was focused on early degrees of Aires, this time it will smack the later degrees Aries. Some of you who have Aries in their chart may feel the effects of this full moon as early as 18^th of October if not a little before. 

One of the inimitable proclamations of this moon is that it is geared towards all cardinal signs to look for the truth and be the best they can be.  It enhance dichotomy to be the change we would like the world to be.  Anyone that is a cardinal sign or has cardinal signs in their chart (Aries, Libra, Capricorn or Cancer) will be intensely affected by this second full moon in Aries.  Remember this moon is brought to release the energy of something that is coming to an end in your life.  It is about working hard to achieve something great, though it may not seem you know your direct it most defiantly be something to celebrate.

On October 07, 2010, we will have a New Moon transiting in 15 degrees in Libra.  You may be able to see this beautiful moon around 2:44pm EST or 11:44 Pacific time.  Those that will be affected by this romantic moon would be those that are born in the later part of Libra October 10-15, and those that have Libra in their chart, remember where ever Libra sits that is where it will be affected.  Additionally Aries and Libra’s are highlighted for this New moon. 

This new moon comes just in time after having spent almost six weeks contemplating our thoughts because of mercury retrograde and the truth being discovered through the full moon in Aries.  Though this article comes a bit early we must understand we still have from September 19, 2010 until October 6, 2010, to discover the truth.  This truth can be revealed in many different aspects of your life.  Avoid trying to over power your point of view from September 19 through October 6, 2010.  Allow other to get their share of the limelight for a moment.  You will be greatly appreciated if you do. 

To understand how this moon will affect you, you must be able to understand your planets and houses where it may sit. Full Moon In Aries

On September 23, 2010, 5:17am EST and at 2:17am PST the moon will move into 0 degrees Aires.  Which means early born Aires will be affected the most by this full moon as well as those with Aires in their chart. The affect of this moon will begin as early as September 18 or 19 2010 and can be felt up to the 27^th of September.

Full moon usually causes people to react dramatically. And this drama may leave some to feel worried and nervous. These feelings will be more overwhelming than most other times since the full moon directs our emotions and character.  Often times when the moon is full we have a tendency to bring out the emotions which we may have been suppressing due to the cosmic pressure of the moon.

It has been an uncomfortable period for many with Mercury, Pluto, Jupiter, Neptune, and Chiron being retrograde.  It’s almost like being torn in all directions. Thus I will break each cycle down and perhaps you can feel some relief. I will put the summary in timeline order so that you can follow how things develop.  In the Vedic philosophies when a planet is retrograde it means Karma time so remember always retrograde is not always bad it means what Karma do you have to pay back and what do you need to learn?

Mercury

Beings its direct movement September 12, 2010 and stations September exact on September 27, 2010.  Unlike most retrograde periods, in 2010 Mercury retrogrades four times.

Normally Mercury retrogrades two times a year however this year it is three some people will say four.  The last retrograde period being December it seems to feel like a re-run show from last December. Therefore, the retrograde periods were in April/May, August/September and last one December/January

Mercury is basically a planet of thought, reconsideration and communication.  Mercury about thinking through things before acting, looking at possible reaction before action and lastly it’s about either letting go of things that are no longer useful but before you do you must think about the consequences of your own action. 

Mercury begins its motion directed today September 12, 2010, at 7:09pm EST. If anyone says the Mercury is direct to you this means they do not understand the Ghost period.  Mercury is NOT direct it is moving direct. Usually any planet that turns retrograde it must go back to position.  It’s like a train that has no coal this means that it will take just as long to get back to normal.  Though some of you may feel a tad bit better in how things are with you.  Don’t get too excited yet.  Mercury will be station and finish its journey on September 27, 2010.  

This means what ever you have, what ever you think, what ever it is that happened to you during retrograde will be until it is revisited again December 10, 2010.

Pluto

Pluto is a planet of change.  Whatever that is toxic for you will eventually leave.  Moreover, Pluto will make sure it goes and even if you want it will go.  Pluto is also about accepting changes that Pluto is about the self.  If it is not healthy let it go.  Many Capricorns may have felt these aspects. Perhaps you fought to keep someone in your life that is not beneficial or make you happy.  Perhaps it was that you are changing not them. Nevertheless, it has to go and it must go. Either they change to accept or you change to accept if you want to keep them.  Since you can’t control the other you can control you.  So its time to ask how badly do you want it and for what purpose? This is what Pluto does.  It scares, angers and confuses you to force you to throw it away.  But the big relief comes back to Capricorn what ever is gone is gone.  It won’t come back to this degree again this year.

This means many people who are undergoing these affects will feel some relief September 13-14 but remember give it about two weeks and look for complete relief for this year around September 27, 2010. However, it may peek his little head out in November 2010 for a temporary phase.

Jupiter

Jupiter is a wonderful planet it is the one that one should always embrace.  It is Luxmi it is the planet of luck and fortune. During retrograde time which began approximately July 23, 2010, your money could have been slow or the luck you used to have seems to have runs out.  Or even that job you wanted falls through and it sat in Aries. Jupiter enters Pisces so look at what happened to you around January through July.  Was your money good? Did you have a good job? Or the opposite?

Whatever that it is just hang on for just a little while longer because it will all change November 21,  2010 when Jupiter begins its motion forward.

Neptune

Neptune is a planet of confusion and ego.  Usually in the Vedic Astrology it is known as Ketu as planet of clashes and denials.  Even if we think we are satisfied in something we are not and we have a vague inclination of something is not true to us. Neptune is about the inner voice, and your psyche. During retrograde there is a chance of suspicion and overwhelmed by feelings of dissolutions.  This period began on May 31, 2010.  So be calm! Your suspicions or accusations may not be totally true and this may mean you may loose something important to you because of your own suspicion. 

This period will last until November 7, 2010 and perhaps giving an additional two weeks which will fall right around the November 25, 2010 right at Thanksgiving would not be a bad idea. This period made Aquarius a little chilled and those who have Aquarius in their chart may have felt a little too.

Chiron

Chiron is about feelings and realization. When Chiron is retrograding those painful times in our lives become more intense and we feel more than we want to. Chiron is known as a teacher who could not heal himself.  Chiron represents a focus that we must face the issues in hand first and learn to rise above them.  But during retrograde time we are not able to see beyond our blinders.  Denying what you have must go or what you had is really gone.

This period begin June 4 in Pisces.  It will not begin its motion forwards until November 7, 2010.  Give or take two weeks for the ghost period will, this means things may become very clear around November 24, 2010.

More good news is that Venus and Mars entered Scorpio this means if you are a Scorpio or have any planets in Scorpio what out all eyes are on you.  But Venus wont stay there forever it will retrograde in beginning of October and may not move to is position until middle of November.

There are so many wonderful things about to come in November it seems like many of us may actually sit down for dinner with our close ones and be embrace. 

Venus

Beautiful Venus, she goes retrograde every 18 months for us to review our love life and think about our needs.  One of the wonderful things she has been doing is she has decided to use mars as a punching back in Scorpio for a little while.  But the punching bag is turning into love love love for Scorpios.  With all this energy she will be visible a gigantic star in the sky.

Venus affects our way of thinking, our emotions, and hunger for relationships it can also be a desire for money and success.  She sets the stands for social attitudes, and behaviors.  She looks over areas of romance, marriage and every asset of interpersonal relationships.  She allows us humor and gives the incentives for happiness. While it is retrograde a relationship or partnerships slow down like a car with a flat tire.  When Venus is retrograde it forces us to re-evaluate relationship of all kinds and focus upon unfinished business especially in areas of feelings and finances. 

Fixed signs will be greatly affected by this retrograde (Taurus, Leo, Scorpio and Aquarius) or those who have Scorpio in their chart

This period begins October 5  in Scoprio.  Venus will then change signs on November 12, 2010, into Libra.  I will write more about it as it becomes a bit closer.

Please remember these are general tendencies and not everyone will fell all the effects.  But you can change your destiny by not allowing these things to bog you down.  For example during retrograde I got rid of things that were no longer beneficial for me by discarding things that weighed me down to make room for new and better things.  When Pluto went retrograde instead of Pluto forcing me to let of people I did it my self because I can no longer allow toxic things in my life. Always remember everything depends upon your faith and how you handle the situation.  You can change your destiny either choose to accept the Karma that the Universe brings to you or resist it but at the end you shall too realize there is no power higher than the Universe.

New Moon in Virgo

On September 08, 2010 we will have a new moon in Virgo at 15 degrees.  You may be able to see it at around 6:30am EST 3:30am PST and 15:41GMT.

Please remember that we are still feeling the stagnation of Mercury Retrograde therefore, don’t expect any relief to begin until September 12, 2010 hence, keep in mind it won’t be at the position it was before moving backwards until September 27, 2010. Those that will be affected by this new moon will be later signs of Virgo and if you are born under a different sun sign look to see where Virgo is present in your chart this is where your life changes.

The New Moon signals a time starting something new, gaining clarity and taking leap of faith.  There is an urge to take risk and even if it means baby steps.  It’s a new way of thinking it’s a new way going on with your daily routines; even it means to take a different way home to work or changing your routines.  The vigor is right for making spur-of-the-moment moves and following your instincts. Full moon will enter Pisces at 2 degrees on August 24, 2010 at, 1:05 pm EST, 10:05 am PST.  As the full moon moves into the Astrological month of Virgo this is a time we ask what is more powerful spirituality or practicality.  Therefore, early signs of Pisces will be intensely affected by this full moon.  Additionally severity of intensity could vary for ALL Pisces as well as that have the Sun, Moon or placement of Pisces anywhere in their chart.

This can only mean a double whammy for Pisceans with Mercury Retrograde and three planets smacking you. But just because you are not a Pisces don’t think this will NOT affect you because I promise the finale of the Cardinal Grand Cross will smack you around also. Thus, there is no need to fall on your knees the Cardinal Signs Solar Eclipse and Lunar Eclipse will continue to affect those that are Cardinal Signs, Aries, Capricorn, Cancer and Libra. But the question is what are YOU going to do with all this? Are you going to adapt, improvise, attain and embrace the changes or create unnecessary chaos? BREATHE!!!!!

On August 20, 2010, Mercury turns retrograde at 19 degrees in Virgo. Mercury retrograde is best known to sending issues in our infrastructure, missed engagements, mail and the www into a general snarl-up! This uncomfortable period lasts for three weeks, until September 12, 2010.  It finally levels out on September 27, 2010, bringing things back to normal.  Though many people will state that Mercury will go away on September 12, 2010, one must understand that Mercury is a slow moving planet (almost like a slow locomotive) therefore, the effect can be felt three (3) weeks before and after the event.

Mercury Shadow begins three weeks before the actual moving backwards in time and the shadow phase began approximately July 31, 2010 and it will keep moving like a slow locomotive without gas until September 12, 2010.  When train sees the end of the tunnel it will begin to speed up and finally come it its station completely on September 27, 2010.

During the retrograde the information we receive from people and our environment will be mis-interpreted and what we say is not what we mean.  Additionally what we hear is not what is meant. But most importantly what we see is often not real.  Therefore it is not wise to speak, negotiate, purchase, trade, sign, travel, ship or mail anything and expects to be on time or even without alterations. It is advisable not to be hasty with your money or any communication because we may do or say something we may later regret.

With Mercury retrograde in Virgo, people with this sign prominent in their charts will be particularly prone to such introspection. Each planet retrogrades, except the Sun and Moon. Mercury, much like the winged messenger of the gods, comes in on feather-light wings and commands us to speak.

 Communication, understanding and consciousness are all within Mercury’s domain, as are logic and reasoning, our manner of thinking, and how we create and express our thought processes. A mercurial nature brings to mind restlessness and motion. Rat-a-tat-tat — things happen fast here. Mercury is about a quick wit, quick thinking, possibilities, opinions, reasoning and the ability to rationalize things. Mercurial energy can be good or bad, but it will certainly be energizing! This Planet also prompts us to move from one thing to the next and to get answers on both a physical and psychological level. Further, Mercury’s energy is both dexterous and perceptive. Mercury is about short trips: a visit to a neighbor or a friend across town, the workaday commute, and a weekend getaway. Siblings and transportation in general, are also within Mercury’s realm. Speaking, writing, books, online communications and learning are all within Mercury’s domain. This Planet implores us to express ourselves often — and well.

Because Mercury rules communication and transportation, these two areas are most influenced during a Mercury Retrograde. Conversations might be more difficult, as crossed signals and unclear meanings confuse normally straightforward discussions. Still, with a little caution and consideration, you’ll get your point across. Similarly, be prepared with a back-up plan when you’re traveling. If your flight gets canceled or your car won’t start, remain calm and make the best of it. In general, Mercury rules thinking and perception, processing and disseminating information and all means of communication, commerce and transportation. By extension, Mercury rules people who work in these areas, especially people who work with their minds or their wits: writers and orators, commentators and critics, gossips and spin doctors, tricksters and thieves.  Mercury retrograde gives rise to personal misunderstandings; flawed, disrupted, or delayed communications, negotiations and   trade; glitches and breakdowns with phones, computers, cars, buses, and trains. It brings travel snafus and missed appointments of all kinds.

On August 09, 2010, we will have a new moon which will enter in Leo at 17 degrees and will shine at its brightest at 11:08 pm EST, 8:08pm EST

 During this time please remember that Mercury is about to retrograde in Virgo or rather Mutable sign on August 20, 2010 and its shadow period is 3 weeks before, during and after, this means some of you may already feel it as early as July 31, 2010 and as late as September 27, 2010.  Therefore be very well prepared that everyone will be affected.

The New Moon gives us enterprise to look around us. There urge to start something innovative and forcing us to even take baby steps if needed just to break the uniformity of our daily schedule.  The new moon energy is perfect to make spontaneous improvements making us convinced to listen to our intuition. This energy will make us act or react from the heart and allow us to trust what ever happens we must take the risk, live in the moment and make your own destiny.  It’s about chances, and expecting us to question what we want out of life.  What we wish to make happen.  The new moon gives us the strength to remain clam and even calmer when there are confrontations.  But if you feel that you have to defend a certain situation then you may become stubborn and you may not back down.

During this new moon you may want things to be peaceful.  If you are into music your talent will be appreciated.  You may become the nurturer to many or even think about volunteering to help the less fortunate.  But most of all your relationship with your mother may become diplomatic, serene and solid.

 The Moon in Leo marks a time of objective and charisma. Ruled by the Sun, Leo creates an influence of tenderness, eagerness, and gratification. People may feel inspired, noble, and bighearted. It is a good time to pursue romance, be collective, and to help others. Like the Lion that symbolizes Leo, people may feel self-possessed but also yearn for admiration and acknowledgment. Care needs to be taken to avoid melodramatic displays to grab the limelight or control positions.

Moon in Leo you may have an emotional need to shine and be eulogized by others. You may articulate your thoughts in a childlike manner – either lightheartedly or radically. Since, moon in Leo is lighthearted, brave, impressive, executive, and structured and temperamental. It is my suggestion that you purchase a Green candle and carve your name one through the wick.  Anoint the candle with lemon oil or Lavender oil and chant the psalm 65.  You may also choose to recite a mantra every morning until the next moon cycle. The perfect number for aspiration is 10.  This means to list 10 aspirations and recite them every night until the next moon cycle.  Remember never make the affirmations beginning with “I want”, it must be worded “I need to be guided.”

Even with this energy it may be a bit difficult to stay consistence without at least pulling your hair out at least once in the first two weeks of August.  The moon in Leo may at least settle some of us to make a difference but we are already in a middle of theStorm

Through the guided transformation through the universal energy we must understand change is never bad it is how we see it.  Everything we do we must do it with honor, respect and most of all good of all man kind as the Universe did for us.  I can only hope that every change you make during this time is sublime bliss.
