Penumbral Lunar Eclipse
Full Moon in Sagittarius
At the evening hours of May 24, and the midnight hours for some on May 25, 2013, our first Penumbral Lunar Eclipse occurs at 3 to 4 degrees in Sagittarius at approximately 12:10 am EST and 9:10 pm PST depending on the orb. A few minutes later, the sky will be lit with a full moon in Sagittarius at 12:35am EST and 9:35pm PST.
The Penumbral lunar eclipse, though it may bring intensity to human factors of emotions and actions, is not very active in the sky. The Penumbral eclipse happens when the earth moves between the sun and the moon and does not form a perfect eclipse lining like a full eclipse would. Unlike the moon and sun covering during the normal eclipse, this time the earth obscures a part of the sun from the visibility of the moon. Due to the nature of this eclipse there will not be a change in the brightness or dimness of the moon. The eclipse may last up to ½ hour and, if all seen, it would be seen from South Americas and North America but it will only touch 1.6% diameter. As much as the view of the eclipse is beautiful when there is a total eclipse, unfortunately and fortunately there are none this year.
“The final eclipse during May occurs on the 24th-25, and it is a full moon (lunar) eclipse at 4 degrees of Sagittarius, reaching a lunar peak in the US at 12 25 a.m EST. The NASA website calls this eclipse the ‘hyrid solar eclipse of 1789.’”-Leslie Hale
This year has already been very intense with back to back eclipses. Fortunately, there are only two more this year and they will be in the fall; in Aries and Scorpio. So relax for a bit and enjoy the change.
The lunar eclipse will fall at 03 to 04 degrees in Sagittarius depending upon the orb. This eclipse is will be concentrated around early Sagittarius, including descendant, ascendant and those that have mutable sign in their chart (Sagittarius, Pisces, Gemini’s and Virgos). The prominence of this eclipse will be more on being cooperative, transcendent, lenient, and taking risk; at the same time there will be a dislike for confinement, dullness, hesitation and criticism.
“Sagittarius is the natural ruler of the 9th house of ideas and beliefs and this eclipse will be the last on the Sagittarius /Gemini axis. The 3rd/9th house axis relates to world view, medicine, publishing, religion, education, ideas, communication and the way we think and view the world. The ninth house also rules foreign people and places along with the legal world and the news media. (Communications)”-Leslie Hale
This eclipse will also re-stimulate, to some degree, the issues that were raised by the November 25, 2011 eclipse when it was in 2 degrees in Sagittarius (Read more about it here). Perhaps looking at those days will trigger a memory which will assist understanding – what happened during the months to follow and can now assess in what is about to take place for the next 6 months. I have had people tell me sometimes it’s the complete opposite and sometimes it’s exactly the same. But the eclipse energy is always about endings.
The effects of this eclipse can be felt as early as 5 days before (May 20, 2013). The uneasiness of the energy of the eclipse will be felt by everyone; however, the strength of the eclipse depends upon the house that the eclipse falls in your astrological chart. Every eclipse has a significant bearing on revolution in our lives for at least 6 months; therefore, early born Sagittarius may feel this effect more so than ever.
“This eclipse comes just after the exact square of Uranus and Pluto and will be the cornerstone of change in the world during this time. Change, revolutions and upsetting the status quo have been the theme of the time in which we currently live and we will see more of it this month”. – Leslie Hale
This eclipse is particularly relationship oriented – our relationship with others can be separated, tested, or suddenly repaired as the surprise calls one to action. We may deeply consider our feelings and needs within the context of the house, sign and planetary aspects affected. To fully appreciate the potential in the lunar eclipse, we must explore both houses and signs that are brought into play. Where the Moon is we can confront our fears, old behaviors and doubts, and where the Sun is we may find the means to release from whatever oppression we experience in life through our creative efforts. In any event, there are opportunities for deeper understanding, and finding a balance in our lives.
To able to feel or rather relate to the intensity of this eclipse is to recall the eclipse that occurred on December 21, 2010, which paved the pathway to the eclipse which are about to start the motion of magnified transformation for many. Read more about the December 21, 2010 eclipse here. This eclipse is the half-way point to the final destination for subliminal transformation and the eclipse is the nudge to make it happen.
“As the eclipse falls on the heels of the Uranus-Pluto square situations and information will be revealed and as the eclipse squares Neptune information may be cloudy. As it falls so close to the U-P square we are on the precipice of great change in the world and our personal lives now” –Leslie Hale
For every astrological sign this eclipse will be different and I would recommend that you make an appointment with my recommended astrologer Leslie Hale to see how personal this eclipse will be.
While this eclipse will affect Aries in their 9th house which focuses on learning and education, for Taurus it could affect your 8th house which a symbol of transformation and other people’s money. Gemini’s could have symphony in the 7th house of marriages and their relationships with others. While Cancers will be focusing on their health, Leos their homes and beautifying it or moving it. Virgos 4th house will be triggered with a great analysis of their roots and family trying to figure out where they are coming from and where they are going. Into the mix comes Libra’s placement with this eclipse in their 3rd house, attentions on short trips perhaps going back to school and recreating their communication skills.
Scorpios will not be out of this mix with a placement in their 2nd house whose motivations would be around how they will earn their money and how they will manage it. Which leaves us with the beautiful Sagittarius who will rumble this eclipse trying to find out who they are, and this eclipse will transform them one way or another triggering their 1st house (Ascendant). While Sagittarius’ begins to find themselves, Capricorns needs to be more careful as this triggers their 12th house of hidden enemies such as secrets and health. This will be a collective change for Aquarius that will be focusing on their 11th house of friends and those that protect them. While Pisceans ‘will have their 10th house triggered as far as their careers and where they position themselves in society.
Sagittarius is about our beliefs and perhaps it is time for changes in our thinking about many things. An eclipse in Sagittarius can cause things to become blown out of proportion. There could be difficulty with travel, writers and those who communicate through the media, or have written certain things that prove questionable. Legal issues may arise and this transit is prone to expose scandals. Religious issues may also be in the forefront. We may also see issues/problems with water and drugs.
For example, this eclipse triggers my mars, Venus and my progress chart since this eclipse is relationship related it is magnified to bring new beginnings for many. However, having Venus in Sagittarius, love is a journey as long as there is learning there is love. Deteriorating relationships will bring suffocation therefore; suffocation or being caged will not be allowed with those that have Venus in Sagittarius.
If partnerships are too serious this will kill what is left in the relationship because there are many dreams and visions to fulfill. Therefore having a perfect partner for those that have Venus in Sagittarius or even involved with a Sagittarius must understand that there needs to be continues learning, joking, playing, travel, understanding, dreams, beliefs, truth, understanding and most of all love.
The house in which eclipses fall is an important facet to how one handles the energy, or rather makes use of it. I highly suggest that you make an appointment with my recommended astrologer Leslie Hale and find out how this eclipse could affect you. Additionally, a 6 month Vedic reading brings the vast amount of information to look at in ones life on a physical plane and what adjustments to make so that cosmic transits in your astrological charts can be more sustainable. Trust me when I say what is not meant to be in your life will defiantly leave by the next eclipse in mutable sign which may not be until 2015 (sign of relief) however, though if you have placement in any other planets this will affect you.
In ancient times eclipses were considered as premonitions of complications. During the time of the eclipse, and often in the current time, it is as equally thought of. Eclipses usually activate major destruction’s such as negative weather patterns which could be such things as floods, earthquakes, and snow storms.
The eclipses do not have to be all negative; eclipses can bring new social positions, and a need to take inventory to make enhancements which are the key to longevity. It is a time for expansion, grasp material and obtain understanding of spiritual and rational people and expand to the world your beliefs. Blow out the prominence of sustainability and stability. If hard work was the focus in the past, then there will be rewards. If you have not put in or put just enough effort then the angle of this eclipse will show you what you lacked.
This 6-month period is a time to focus on schooling, education, values, travel, and growth. This particular Eclipse chart places a huge planetary emphasis in one area of the Zodiac, Sagittarius; however, Virgo, Pisces and Gemini’s will be highly emphasized guarding against out-of-control patriotism, misunderstandings and over-sensitivity about boundaries. Tiny details can over-run long-term goals.
“As the eclipse squares Neptune, we are prone to delusion, paranoia and unclear thinking. On the other hand it may be a beautiful time for creativity, psychic readings and endeavors and helping those less fortunate as well as all spiritual matters. It’s all a matter of how you channel the energy” –Leslie Hale
While this eclipse brings changes, we will also experience a flower moon at 12:25 am EST. Folklores consider the first full moon in May the Full Flower Moon, because flowers are usually everywhere and the sun and the moon keep them nurtured.
At times this Full Moon can highlight important methodological or technical advances, or social changes and reforms. Computers and other hi-tech equipment can be subject to breakdown and other disorders. Be on guard against “the unanticipated or rare” around this time. Individuals may present with some rather strange conduct patterns under this influence as well and sudden hostilities or goodbyes may occur for some around this time.
The Fiery Sagittarius Moon compels us to speak honorably and get to the heart of the matter. Trust is resilient, small talk is out… big dreams and lofty plans take shape in our minds. Take a little trip… read a book.
The Moon in Sagittarius brings a time of exciting activity seeking and freedom. People may feel more tentative, polite, and fun loving. It is a good time for exploring interests and ideas and for expansion of the mind. Like the Archer that represents Sagittarius, people may have an inclination toward seeking out correctness and sophisticated meaning and following perception, as well as flights of elegant. While the desire for freedom will be strong, people may want to do what they want, when they want, and be impulsive and independent. These inclinations can cause impatience and a strong need for freedom.
Moon in Sagittarius is very ingenuous with her feelings. She is intelligent and ethical in emotional situations. She treats others with admiration, compassion and a sense of humor. She believes in telling it like it is, even if the truth hurts. Sagittarius Moon needs for others to be truthful with her as well. She is deeply wounded by deceitfulness. She has a talent for schooling others, and is a passionate student. Every emotional test is an opportunity for her to study, and to help others with the information she has multiplied.
The energy between the moon and eclipse may cause need to continually express feelings. Arriving to a quick rational solution for any emotional problem – and will jump right in to provide a helpful opinion. Emotional feelings are not consistent and often switch between on again and off again. This could make people appear inconsistent or two-sided, but is it you or them. Be open-minded. The flip side of this energy may be that the urges of being super friendly in communication and a need to stay in touch with your mother or a female guardian becomes a must.
But the best part about the moon in Sagittarius is that its time to have fun and meet people. It is also about melody, art and finer things in life. It’s about expressing what you want with the all the accuracy behind it. There is a greater need to approach struggles in a peaceful and stable method to overcome oppositions. However, as Sagittarius searches for the truth there is a tendency of inflexibility when the dispute is in their favor. At the same time, Sagittarius wants peace; but in their terms. So why not make music or draw art instead of making war?
During the Sagittarius moon it’s time to care for others by making sure everyone is content. It is also a time of being nurturing and often this type of energy makes sure that a motherly figure will be a joy to ones life. Speaking honestly and straight to the point may be severe but it is also real. This moon also signifies the taking of responsibility in areas of family and those whom you love. Which could mean spending more time with the ones you love, but how will you do that when you also may become very busy working? This moon is quite sociable but having to tear yourself between family, friends and obligations may cause you to be unconventional and disobedient. Be careful of your words and be gentle; the new moon will be a very calming affect. Perhaps take a trip by the ocean or the sea, or read a book instead of stretching yourself too thin and make sure you take time for yourself.
The eclipse can be a very difficult time even when things are perfect. Appreciate the gifts that have been bestowed upon you by the cosmos. Namaste the name of the moon embrace the difficulties and ask for absolution when frustrations have overcome humility.
Allow the heavy burdens of the past months to drop away. You should swim like a light being and an angel of the heavens; in the harmonious seas of bliss and peace. I strongly suggest taking your aspirations that you have made last month and cross them out one by one. Remember never beg for your aspirations.
During the Lunar Eclipse we must try to look at life in a different aspect. You might want to re-write the aspirations like this: “I need help in building what I dream of and power to manifest pleasure through this process. I need the information to love more and the ability to evolve in a positive environment. I need to understand about my goals.”
Since the moon is in Sagittarius, it is straightforward, robust, self-assured, and intellectual. It is my suggestion that you purchase an Orange candle and carve your name through the wick. Anoint the candle with sandalwood or Lavender oil and chant the psalm 17. You may also choose to recite a mantra every morning until the next moon cycle. Remember that with all applications of psalms and mantras achieving the desired result is depended upon the quality of intention, and when it comes to finding satisfying interaction, it is of the greatest importance to begin with a clear understanding of what your goal should be.
The Sanskrit mantras can be difficult to pronounce but are a powerful source of energy on levels of sounds through us and the creator. For the Solar Eclipse it is suggested that the mantra of Surya be chanted every morning and every night for the entire transit (6 months)
The mantra for Lunar Eclipse is:
Om Chandrakia Namaha
(Om Chan Dra Kia Nahm ah ha)
The mantras can be hard to pronounce for many but it is a powerful source of energy; the mantra for Sagittarius moon is:
“Om Gurave Nahmaha”
(Om Goo rah vey Nahm ah ha)
This mantra begins to stimulate and flinches the entire chakra. It specifically prepares the chakra to able to handle the inflow of Jupiter energy that gives chakra its power.
Remember the 12 aspirations. Don’t forget to cross the ones you have already accomplished and make new ones. Don’t forget to manifest matters concerning materialistic things at this time. And most of all don’t forget to light a white candle that day carve your name on the candle anoint the candle with Frankincense oil and chant Psalm 17 three times. If you should have any other questions regarding the new moon please feel free to contact me or the Lunar Eclipse, please feel to contact me.
Many people have asked the question how often they should have a reading done by a psychic or a tarot reader. In my opinion, an in-depth reading should be done every moon cycle. Since every moon cycle represents a change, it not only affects our external forces but our internal forces as well. Of course, we all have burning questions every now and then and it may be necessary to have a reading done more often, but sometimes we have to let universe take its course.
When dealing with a tragic situation, it is my suggestion that before you have a reading done you must clear away negativity and fear from your emotions so that a reader can give you the clearest reading possible. Remember also that every psychic bases all their telephone readings on your energy. So remember to ask guidance from the higher power before having a reading so that you can be neutral with your energy. The clearest answers can be given when energy is at a neutral point. Never get a reading when your energy is scattered because you may not receive the best reading possible. 98% of all psychics are empathic and clairvoyant so this energy is very important to them as well as you. Always remember that every reader has their boundaries as to how far in the future they want to read. This is their choice; however, reading beyond 6 months is a very hazy situation. Our free will plays an important role in our destiny and we are able to change anything. This is the main reason why many readers do not go beyond the 3 to 6 month marks.
Please remember that these are general tendencies. It is my suggestion that all mutable signs set up an appointment with me and get a 6 month in-depth reading on the self before getting a relationship reading. In addition, please remember that I am not an astrologer, but rather, a Vedic reader who incorporates tendencies of the sun and the moon which is the groundwork for a specialized reading. I bring to you the outcomes that can be changed.
Furthermore, I would advise you to speak to my recommended astrologer, Leslie Hale and get a path to remedial changes and incorporate the two; building a future that you would like to have.
This Lunar eclipse I will be doing 6 months in-depth reading to prepare us for the finale this fall.
Being a Vedic reader does not make me an Astrologer. Vedic reading is focused on, and geared towards, transformational changes which are embarked by actions and reactions. One ounce of prevention brings solace and understanding of the future.
Unfortunately, due to my prior engagement ceremony, I will be accepting appointments only prior to May 25 and then again to be scheduled starting at 6pm May 27, 2013 through June 15, 2013.
Please contact me prior to making an appointment so that I can be sure the slot for your appointment is available.
Wishing you the best of the transitions through eclipses…

Annular Solar Eclipse
New Moon in Taurus
May 09/10 2013
On May 09, 2013, a beautiful sphere will appear in our skies with the Annular Solar Eclipse in Taurus. The new moon will create a beginning and the solar eclipse will heighten the effect. This wonderful concerto will begin its journey with a new moon at 8:28pm EST and 5:28pm PST followed by the Solar Eclipse at 10:55pm EST and 7:33. The eclipse will occur in 19 degrees in Taurus.
“During May we will experience two eclipses, the first on May 9, a lunar eclipse at 19 degrees of Taurus occurring at 8:28 p.m. EST. This eclipse follows the solar eclipse in Scorpio April 25.” – Leslie Hale
The amazing Annular Solar Eclipse happens when both planets, the sun and the moon, are in line at the exact position. The line of the planets will cause a ring due to the placement and the size of the moon which will appear as a fire in the sky. Even though the moon will enter our skies while the moon rises and the sun is setting, those in the United States will not see this amazing event. This 6 minute eclipse will be visible for those who reside in eastern Pacific Ocean regions, especially in the area of Polynesia.
This is the third series of eclipses that have affected fixed signs since November 2012; read about it here. The November eclipse was followed by the eclipse on April 25, 2013 (Read about it here) and now the Scorpio/Taurus Eclipse May 09, 2013. Those that will have direct impact from this eclipse will be those that have planets at 15-25 degrees in Taurus, Leo, Scorpio and Aquarius.
“Taurus is the natural ruler of the second house of money, income and possessions. These two eclipses occur on the 2ond/eighth house axis dealing with money, income, taxes, debt, income, joint resources, investments, financial markets and death both literal and metaphorical. (eighth house).” – Leslie Hale
The effects of this eclipse can be felt as early as 5 days before (May 04, 2013). The uneasiness of the energy from the eclipse will be felt by everyone; however, the intensity of the eclipse depends upon the house that the eclipse falls in an astrological chart. Every eclipse has a significant demeanor on insurgency in our lives for at least 6 months; therefore, those that are born in the middle of Taurus cycle as well as those that have primary planets in Taurus may feel this effect more so than ever as well as fixed signs.
While every eclipse is relationship oriented, fortunately this eclipse may have a lot to do with the self and how it relates to material wealth and success. Included are areas of loyalty and stubbornness and how they oppose ones wishes and goals.
A solar eclipse brings a new period of individualism and there may be a tug of war between what you are becoming and how others are not changing. This may mean that evaluation is needed. However, when people do change, there may be a need of acceleration on adapting circumstances. Keeping things on the basis of honesty and integrity is bullet proof.
“Solar eclipses can end 19 years cycles and start anew. A solar eclipse occurred at 19 degrees of Taurus on May 10, 1994. We can expect secrets/situations to be revealed and Taurus is a financial sign so we may see shifts in the financial markets over the next few weeks, especially since 3 of the fast moving planets are in Taurus and Venus enters Gemini that day. As Venus enters Gemini it squares Neptune at 5 degrees of Pisces and this is a transit of confusion, lack of clarity and Venus is a money planet. It will square Neptune over the next few days and is a classic transit of being ‘hoodwinked,’ or failing see matters in a clear light and it is not limited to money.” –Leslie Hale
Eclipses are often considered as auguries and difficulties are a natural process of the eclipse. Eclipses are usually activated by major destruction such as negative weather patterns which could be such things as floods, earthquakes, and snow storms. Often, it is seen as an irritable time for humans as the energy could create disorder. The solar eclipse is an eye opener or a nudge; the very essence of our being, and fighting against it, will cause even more conflicts.
The eclipse mid Taurus is definitely geared towards money matters and being sandwiched between relationships and obligations. Questioning what more is needed to get where we want to go. It is time to gather material resources, form a plan, and make choices. Because the choices and plans of our lives are so scattered, the tendency to be frustrated could make it difficult to make choices. This is very similar to the eclipse felt also in November 2012 eclipse. Read about it here.
The eclipses do not have to all be disparaging; eclipses can bring new social position, and a need to take inventory, to make improvements, and to have solidity. It is a time for development, inhale information and acquire knowledge of the spiritual and knowledgeable information from people. If in a career there was a great deal of effort and hard work then definitely the heavens will support you, however, if it was revolving around just getting by then the angle of the eclipse will show you the direction you’re lacking and possibly the loss of a career or a promotional opportunity.
Solar energy is marginal, defensive, diffident, and active – resonated and articulated from within our life force. This eclipse is particularly impartial and purpose oriented where our principles and resolve can be enhanced and exaggerated. Consider our contributions to the world, and how they are expressed to humanity.
This 6-month period is a time to focus on career status, social status and endeavors. This particular Eclipse chart places a huge planetary emphasis in one area of the Zodiac – Taurus however; Scorpio, Leo and Aquarius are highly emphasized by guarding against out-of-control chauvinism, misinterpretations and over-sensitivity about limitations. Tiny details can over-run long-term goals.
“The eclipse falls on Mercury (transport, transportation, young people, communication, travel, ideas, and all verbal communication) and within 5 degrees of Mars. As the eclipse is so close to Mars we could see volatile circumstances and violence, especially in the hot spots around the globe.”-Leslie Hale
Along with the solar eclipse, the heightened new moon will bring a new beginning. With a passage of new ventures and accomplishments, the energy is in just the right place to bring progress, expansion and creating a physical world which one calls their own. The restive will force the impulse to take action and begin something new, be it a small change in the way you approach your daily routine, or a whole new path on your journey through life. The energy is right for making spontaneous moves and following your instincts. This is the time to act from your heart and trust. Know that the Cosmos will support you as long as your intentions are true.
A moon in Taurus presents an excellent time to commit to personal goals; the lessons revolve around security and contentedness. Emotional reactions are calm, firm and shying away from confrontation. There is greater need for a peaceful environment. Nurturing others by providing for their needs is the theme for this eclipse.
The Moon in Taurus ushers in a time of attentiveness and sensibleness. People may feel more conservative and stable. This is a good time to continue or to finish projects that have already been started, as people may be more dependable and thorough. Like the stubborn Bull representative of Taurus, people may be bull-headed — unwilling to compromise and argumentative. Care needs to be taken to avoid self-indulgence and excessive concern or desire for material possessions.
“Mars in Taurus reaches the eclipse degree of 19 on May 17, and we can expect to see important events related to the eclipse occur at this time. On this same day Mercury will square Neptune showing us that events will not be clear or we could receive false information or facts will not be communicated correctly.”-Leslie Hale
The moon in Taurus represents Comfortable, Concrete, Corporeal, Enduring, and Stubborn. We must use the practical senses. The energy between the moon and eclipse may cause the need to continually express feelings. Arriving to a quick logical solution for any emotional problem – and will jump right in to provide a helpful opinion. Emotional feelings are not consistent and often switch between on again and off again. This could make people appear fickle or two-sided, but is it you or them. Be open-minded. The flip side of this energy may be that the urges of being super friendly in communication and a need to stay in touch with your mother or a female guardian becomes a must.
Also I suggest to purchase a Yellow candle, carve your name on it and anoint it with sandalwood or frankincense oil and chant the following chant: “I ask to find the inner light of my creativity” I wish for the universe to help me achieve the recognition that I desire.” “I pray that I may find the strength to take chances with my creativity”.
The Sanskrit mantras can be difficult to pronounce but it are a powerful source of energy on levels of sounds through us and the creator. For the Solar Eclipse it is suggested that mantra of Surya be chanted every morning and every night for the entire transit (6 months). The mantra can be hard to pronounce for many but it is a powerful source of energy.
Om Surya Namaha
(Om Surya Namaha)
The mantra for Taurus moon is:
Om Sri shukraya Namaha
(om Shri Shu Kra Ya Nama Ha)
Remember the 12 aspirations. Don’t forget to cross the ones you have already accomplished and make new ones. Don’t forget to manifest matters concerning materialistic things at this time. Most of all, don’t forget to light a white candle that day. Carve your name on the candle anoint the candle with Frankincense oil and chant Psalm 65 three times. If you should have any other questions regarding the new moon, or the Solar Eclipse please feel free to contact me.
This solar eclipse, I will be doing 6 month in-depth reading to prepare us for the finale on May 25, 2013 when things are set in stone until this fall.
Vedic reading is focused towards transformational changes which are sparked by actions and reactions. One ounce of prevention brings solace understanding of the future.
For the best advice, I would suggest you make an appointment with Leslie Hale and get a reading on the effects of the three eclipses. After you have had a complete reading on the transitions of the eclipse you may set up an appointment with me to have an in-depth reading done (6 months). I especially recommend for Scorpios and Taurus’ two readings be done, both in May, or if you have fixed signs in your chart and if you are mutable sign.
I will be accepting appointments for in-depth readings at a reduced price as early as May 7th to be scheduled May 10th through 14th only.
Please contact me prior to making an appointment so that I can be sure the slot for your appointment is available.
Wishing you the best of the transitions through eclipses.

Partial Lunar Eclipse
Full Moon in Scorpio
April 25, 2013
As we move into 2013, the skies will light up with a Partial Lunar Eclipse in Scorpio on April 25, 2013. This magnificent event is the series of eclipses which will impact fixed signs. The eclipse will occur within 5 degrees in Scorpio at approximately 4:07 pm EST, 1:07 pm PST. This will be a definitely a site to see since the Moon will also be full in the sign of Scorpio at 3:57pm EST and 12:57am PST.
This is the second series of eclipses which will continue to impact all fixed signs, especially Scorpio. The first eclipse began its journey on November 13, 2012 (Read about it here). At which time a new journey for many was the closing of one door and opening of another, however, the eclipses will continue to impact fixed signs when another eclipse will enter our skies on May 09, just a couple of days before Mother’s Day in Taurus.
“The first of three spring eclipses occurs April 25, at 5 degrees of Scorpio at 3:57 p.m. and this is a lunar eclipse. Scorpio is a water sign and so it is emotional. Scorpio can evoke dysfunctional behaviors and patterns, wounded feelings, and dark and intense feelings of rage, repressed anger and hurt and reopen old wounds, hurts, and traumas for many.” Leslie Hale
Following the cluster will be a Sagittarius eclipse on May 25, 2013. Naturally mutable signs have been going through changes since 2010. Read about the mutable signs eclipses December 2010, Beginning of June 2011, December 2011, June 2012, and November 2012.
Unlike most eclipses, this eclipse will shine only in one area of the hemisphere and it won’t be seen by many. To be able to see the entire eclipse the best area to be is Eastern Europe or Africa. Though some in central Asia and western Australia will see this, North America will not have the visibility of this event, but will feel it in many other aspects.
To better understand the effects of this eclipse is to look back at how things unfolded on a personal level between November 1-12, 2012. Read about it here.
“Scorpio is the natural ruler of the eighth house of death and transformation, taxes and corporate and joint finances. It also has to do with the way we feel in a relationship as well as sex. Eighth house themes can often seem as though there is a feeling of forced change. Death can be literal and metaphorical in our personal lives and in the world.” Leslie Hale
Prior to the eclipse, Venus and Saturn will be at their opposites. Venus is in Taurus but Saturn continues to remain in Scorpio. Saturn pounding Scorpio is just the beginning of a cycle which could continue for about 2.5 years. Read more about it here.
Fortunately, for many Scorpios it has not been that bad. Though very strenuous in areas of money and work, perhaps employment is not satisfactory, or there are layoffs, or you may even fear you don’t have enough money. Depending on where Saturn sits in an individual chart equates to the impact of one’s life.
The effects of this eclipse can be felt as early as 5 days before (April 20, 2013). The discomfort of the energy of the eclipse will be felt by everyone; however, the intensity of the eclipse depends upon the house that the eclipse falls in an astrological chart. Every eclipse has a significant bearing on creational revolution in our lives for at least 6 months; therefore, early born Scorpios as well as those that have primary planets in Scorpio may feel this effect more so than ever as well as early fixed signs .
“Scorpio is ruled by Mars (and Pluto). Mars is considered the God of war, and Pluto rules power structures, bullies and change that is beyond our ability to control, and is considered the planet of revenge.” Leslie Hale
When a lunar eclipse occurs, the earth is transitory between the Sun and the Moon, creating a Full Moon as we experience every month – but in this case, the alignment is perfect – the occultation of the Moon complete. The intensity of the Full Moon is great, partially covered for a few minutes by the earth’s shadow. The Sun and Moon are occupying opposite Astrological signs, therefore highlighting the particular polarization characteristic in Scorpio. During the period of occultation, the Moon’s reassuring light is temporarily blocked.
This eclipse is particularly relationship oriented – our relations with others can be disconnected, braved, or suddenly welded together as the shock calls one to action. We may deeply consider our feelings and needs within the context of the house where planetary aspects are affected. To fully appreciate the potential of the lunar eclipse, we must explore both houses and signs that are brought into play. First, where the Moon is – we can confront our demons, old habits and fears, and second, where the Sun is placed – we may find the means to embrace a release from whatever bondage we experience in life through our creative efforts. In any event, there are opportunities for deeper understanding and finding a balance in our lives.
People with fixed signs (Scorpio, Taurus, Leo and Aquarius) prominent in their charts will have a hard time separating their individualities from their emotions; failing to recognize that something (or someone) they want may simply represent ego involvement instead of emotional commitment. What we are called upon (or driven) to do may often interfere with what gives us emotional satisfaction, or we chase after our desires, while we waste, or fail to develop, our talents and skills.
“For others the Scorpio theme will have to do with money, credit and taxes. It is a time of looking at the harsh realities of our own personal situations and the state of the world” Leslie Hale
This eclipse will also re-stimulate, to some degree, the issues that were raised by the November 12, 2012 eclipse Read more about it here. This will be an end of a cycle or a significant change in direction of affairs focusing on home, family and health. It may be that you will end a relationship or your partner may become indifferent.
This 6-month period is a time to focus on other people’s money or joint ventures of some sort. Since there are two eclipses in Scorpio, different aspects will occur in people’s lives. For example the first one could bring money and the second could bring introduction. The first eclipse does have Mars in the 7th house which represents relationships which could means that if a person is single, then commitments will be on their minds. If already in a commitment there will be a stronger bond. Even though the first eclipse can seem slightly negative, people who are in a relationship will give the support needed to move forwards.
Eclipses usually shake our foundations, pull us out of our normalcy and supply the energy to see the world without rose colored glasses or even blue if I may add. So that the world is clear and accurate, to best understand this formation think back at 1994 when Scorpio Taurus eclipses first entered for many of us, you will see the theme repeating itself.
“The terrorist attack that occurred at the Boston Marathon on 4-15 is indicative of this eclipse in Scorpio (eighth house death) and the rage that exists in the world we live in, and what a wounded society we must confront during these difficult times. It is being called a coordinated attack and the first on American soil in 12 years. The individuals who perpetrated this attack are without a doubt full of Scorpio rage and anger, and as the story unfolds we will discover the motivation for the attack also involved revenge.” Leslie Hale
While I was writing this blog a friend of mine phoned me and asked “oh I am so scared of these eclipses” I said, “but why?” She said, “well you know us Scorpios can’t stand drama and I can see it coming.” So I explained. … Let me think back ….
A very dear friend died during 1984 which cut my relationship with whom I was and who I became. My family moved from Michigan to Florida leaving behind all my friends. I began a new life where I knew no one. My outlet was to mix with people who were negative and toxic in my life. And through those toxic relationships I learned to be a stronger person by learning to live in forgiveness.
Eclipses are always wild, they always shake and rattle things and things happen so quickly. It could be simple thing as marriage, promotion or career breath through, break ups make ups, whatever the case may be it is the universes way of pushing forwards. With the full moon it will pack the punch and if the full moon falls on your birthday it is guaranteed you will be naturally be transformed whether you like or not.
“This eclipse (moon) is conjunct Saturn, and this combination will bring home our own personal realities as Saturn is the taskmaster from whom we get nothing for free. The eclipse is opposed by Mars and the Sun adding to the volatility and frustration of this eclipse. Taurus energy desires to hang on to things and situations and Scorpio-Saturn energy demands we release them. While this eclipse may evoke some very negative feelings and situations, there is a silver lining in the mix as well.” Leslie Hale
Eclipses always bring news: good bad or ugly; try not to push during the eclipses it’s better to think than act. Eclipse is about planning but not acting. Eclipses are emotional and it’s a deterrence, it helps to get energy to do things that one has never done and don’t judge under any circumstances.
“Saturn and Pluto are in mutual reception that is each is in the other’s sign reinforcing the positive sextile between the two, along with Venus’s trine to Pluto. While we may be forced to deal with our own harsh realities, as Pluto retrogrades aspecting Venus and Saturn we can experience a deep transformative effect during this period as well. Once we accept our own harsh realities, we can move toward solutions and rise to a new level of understanding and then action. But first we must be willing to lay bare our feelings and situations as they truly exist, before seeking a new understanding and ultimately solution.” Leslie Hale
The moon in April also is named the seed moon; so plant those seeds and bring them to the light of the sun. The first few days of the full moon are always a waxing moon; try to avoid confrontation as much as possible.
The full moon in Scorpio is a time for renewal and rebirth like – Phoenix rising from the ashes as will the Scorpios. Many things in our lives may be fading so it is time for rebirth. We are soothing past the old and peeling old skin. This moon is about the Gods, Karma, Sun, the Moon and humans.
In the Buddhist tradition the full moon in Scorpio is known as “Wesak”; a time of enlightenment. Scorpions are naturally expressive, intuitional and psychics. Their nature of picking up signals from people are so honed that they become sponges to other people’s emotions. These emotions for non-Scorpions can be quite theatrical which may cause many people to hide feelings pretending everything is ok but it is not.
When the Moon is full, the heaviness between the moon and sun creates a gravitational pull of the bodies of water which can be linked directly to pressures in humans. For those who are in the same sign as the full moon, be cautious as it can affect the moods with primary signs of Scorpio or fixed signs. There is absolutely no doubt that this moon will create an inner and outer pull of energy that may make some of us quite cantankerous.
Scorpios, and those that have any houses in Scorpio, it is time to expand those houses. It is the most metaphysical time of the year; it’s the spotlight of the Phoenix. It’s time to let go of things that do not fit your hunger, the world is watching you – release the desire and put on a mask that is fit just for you. Keep peace, keep motivation, and keep focused. It will get a little weird. Remember that it’s all in the attitude. Know and understand the psychic and powers of the Scorpio are often feared and respected; there is nothing in between.
The theme for this eclipse and full moon is in the area of relationships, if a relationship ends the universe will give enough ammunition to do so but with the mix of the energy of Neptune (God of confusion), Sun, Mars and Saturn also in the mix, the universal energy will make it easier to let go and show positive paths for reasons to let go.
If a relationship is going through a healing process or a matter of a little time off, now there will be a new sense of energy which will strengthen the emotional bond and patience will be very much appreciated and will save the relationship.
Lastly, if a relationship begins within the few days of the eclipse there will be a forward motion of attraction and it could be a union which will help the relationship bond even further.
There is a greater need during this full moon energy to feel protected and firm. Because of this energy, hostility, contention and anger will bring out the most vivid part in all of us. There is a great need to express the deeper level of our conciseness, but there is a greater need to remain calm if someone tries to tap on to your energy.
Full moon in Scorpio will definitely bring out the stinger even if they are not Scorpios. This experience can be felt as early as 5 days before the exact full moon and 5 days after. Emotions will be penetrating and issues will come out which were not brought up before. There is a need to allow the experience to flow, but to use alliance instead of forcefulness.
The full moon in Scorpio may cause some communication, egocentric attitudes and group activities to not go over very well only because everything and everyone may be exasperating or ill-tempered. Most of the issues that will cause these disruptive behaviors may have to do with sex, formation, birth and rebirth of nature and nurture. It may even be about money and signing of contracts; be sure to read it before you sign anything though mercury is already direct, therefore there nothing hidden.
Everything during the full moon will be exaggerated, egos will be high and inflated and there may be a greater need for relationships. During this full moon there are greater chances to have many stunning dreams and bleeding and hemorrhaging through clumsiness or laziness may cause problems so take care.
This is the time to Harvest, Pray and be Thankful, and to work on fertility and prosperity. Love and romance go wild under a Full Moon, especially around midnight. In a full moon you may become highly objective, clear minded and aware of your own needs and the needs of others.
Plants and herbs were harvested and dried as the richness of the first harvest was realized; as ripe berries were gathered and used for paints, dyes and as a source of Vitamin C. Health and creativity are emphasized and there is a sense of well-being and drama to this lunation.
All Scorpions have been going through a very difficult transit especially within the last year. Scorpions will now become a bit faithful, money oriented, and relationships will no longer be based upon physical plane but emotional and spiritual stability. Any Scorpios that are born in October will now let go of the past (relationships or burdens) and embrace a joyful conjunction of the spiritual world.
If you are a Scorpio and looking for work or a relationship the opportunities may come around May and accumulation now or in June when Jupiter is in Cancer.
When the moon is in Scorpio, we become more accustomed to hidden or mysterious influences and our psychic antennas may be activated. This is a time for working to maintain poignant behavior patterns and for working on overcoming inner fixation thoughts or desires. There can be a need for recognizing habits and reactions that keep you locked in power struggles. This Full moon is most favorable for seeking assistance from your divine center and Higher Power to gently release you from inner negativities. Psychic Power is the focus.
The Moon in Scorpio marks a time of increased eagerness and longing. People may be feeling more self-assured and more interesting, as well as being reactive and imaginative. In general, emotions at both ends of the spectrum are heightened and likely to vary quite a bit throughout this influence. Connections on a deep level could be made with members of the opposite sex with the Moon in Scorpio. Represented by the Scorpion, Scorpio possesses an enigmatic and penetrative nature. Feelings of envy and vengeance may arise, so special caution is needed to avoid disagreements. The Scorpio Full Moon can be a vehicle for power urge, which can often result in hostility or even dangerous impulses.
Since the moon in Scorpio represents Impetuous, Determined, Hot-Tempered, Courageous, and Robust it is my suggestion for us to remain balanced. This full moon is extraordinary to many signs. It is my suggestion that you purchase a white candle and carve your name through the wick. Anoint the candle with lavender oil, sandalwood and chant the psalm 39. You may also choose to recite a mantra every morning until the next moon cycle. Remember that with all applications of psalms and mantras, achieving the desired result is dependent upon the quality of intention, and when it comes to finding satisfying relationships, it is of the greatest importance to begin with a clear understanding of what your goal should be. The mantra can be hard to pronounce for many but it is a powerful source of energy. The mantra for the lunar eclipse:
Om Chandrakia Namaha
(Om Chan dra Kia Nam aha)
The intention of this mantra is to call upon the God of protection and harmony to give you internal and external peace without uncertainties
corpio moon is:
“Om Angarakaya Namaha”
(Om An-ga-ra-ka-ya Na-ma-ha)
This mantra is to call to the lord of peace and removal of any obstacles in your way. The intention of this mantra is the to keep us in balance; from losing our temper through darkness and unfocused energy.
With every moon cycle, remember to cross out the old affirmation even if there is the slightest change and create new ones. The perfect number for aspiration is 10. This means to list 10 aspirations and recite them every night until the next moon cycle. Remember never make the affirmations beginning with “I need”, it must be worded “I will need to be shown how to retain”
Please note these are general tendencies, and I highly recommend that you make an appointment with Leslie Hale to find out how this eclipse will affect you. Most of the time Astrology is a guide to what is coming in the future and Astrologers are able to give you a glimpse of what you can expect. At the same time, Vedic readings are also quite important because they use the aspects of the sun, moon, karma, dharma, destiny and spiritual inclinations to encode what is about to come so that you can modify your life to have the most benefit from the eclipse.
I will be offering 6 month personal in-depth readings starting the 22nd. These readings will be encompassing areas of life that may not be touched upon by an Astrologer while your Astrologer will touch upon areas which I am not able to uncover. Together you can amplify the best of both worlds and create a destined path of your choice.
Please remember I am NOT an Astrologer nor do I claim to be one, rather, I am a Vedic Sanskrit Reader who encompasses Astrology as a utility and basis of the reading. This surrounds the magnificent transformational destiny and Karma reading as a conclusion to all readings. One can easily create cohesion between Vedic readings and Western Astrology. I would really suggest that you make an appointment with my featured astrologer Leslie Hale, find out how things are about to unfold, take good notes, then get a Vedic Reading so that you are able understand and adapt to transformational changes for your own destined path.
Many people have asked the question how often they should have a reading done by a physic or a tarot reader. In my opinion, an in depth reading should be done every moon cycle. Since, every moon cycle represents a change it not only affects our external forces but our internal forces as well. Of course, we all have burning questions every now and then and it may be necessary to have a reading done more often, but sometime we have to let the universe take its course. When dealing with a tragic situation it is my suggestion that before you have a reading done you must clear away negativity and fear from your emotions so that a reader can give you the clearest reading possible. The clearest answers can be given when energy is at its most neutral point. Never get a reading when your energy is scattered because you may not receive the best reading possible. This is the main reason why many readers do not go beyond the 3 to 6 month mark.
Wishing you the most irresistible moon ever and I hope you hold your hands together and Namaste the universe for all its simple pleasures

New Moon in Aries
April 10, 2013
On April 10, 2013 at approximately 5:35am EST and 2:27am PST we will bring fresh ideas and vigor through the New Moon in Aries. This new beginning will transform all those who are born in the later sign of Aries, especially those 15 to 20 degrees, depending upon the orb. This is the beginning of something new that could have ended during the Harvest moon on September 29, 2012; read more about it here.
By the time this moon has arrived we would have already passed the Spring Equinox but spring season came a little later for many as did the spring projects. If you have not begun your projects, this new moon will give the energy to do so; including the force needed to do things differently where things are not as balanced. Which means anything thing that is not working will be forced out or given guidance and strength to change.
This will be just the energy that is needed for many before the Partial Lunar Eclipse enters our atmosphere on April 25, 2013. Look for more information about this transformational event after the 10th of April 2013.
With all the mix of energies that was felt in March, Pluto the planet God of transformation, ruling planet of Scorpio which has been in Capricorn, will be retrograding until beginning April 12 through September 20, 2013. During the retrograde period we are always advised to follow of a path of self-reflection and Pluto will force anything out that does not belong or meet our needs. It’s almost as if there is a spark of energy to clean house (in our lives). It is time to have better control of things we can control which are in areas of other people’s money or professionalism. Addressing the issue of how communication affects the area of professionalism and how or why we react so defensively when we feel attacked. Pluto retrograde focuses around conflict resolutions and how we can make changes that better our inner circles.
The new moon gives opportunity to put new things into action. The energy is powerful enough to give the incentive that one needs to make the right choices. Small changes will be the trigger to bigger changes and taking chances will be blissful. It is a time for manifestation, planting seeds and making strategies.
When the moon is in Aries there is no time to think; rather it is geared towards taking action and making sure needs are met. Aries desires passion and fire. In the same respect, there is a need for individuality, poise, and temperament. There is a desire to take charge of emotional situations to resolve right away. Due to the nature of Aries, independence is shared and a motherly figure will distinguish objectivity through discovering one’s self with high vigor.
The Moon in Aries marks a time of amplified accomplishment and ambition. People may feel more zealous and be more energetic. This is a good time to begin new projects or to try to apply chosen transformation. Like the charging Ram that represents Aries, people may be inclined to hurry robustly and spontaneously without considering the magnitudes to both themselves and others. Forethought needs to be considered to avoid narcissism and hot blooded behavior. The Fiery Aries Moon brings enthusiasm to our emotions, instant reactions, and bravery in the face of any opponent! Give in to the energy…. strive for new beginnings.
Since the moon in Aries represents spontaneous, tenacious, snappish, courageous, and enthusiastic tendencies, it is my suggestion for us to remain independent.
The mantra for Aries moon is:
“Om Suryaya Namaha”
(Om sur-va-ya Na-ma-ha)
This mantra is the dispeller of oblivion and unawareness.
The intention of this mantra is to keep one in balance; from loosing our temper through darkness and unfocused energy
With every moon cycle, remember to cross out the old affirmation even if there is a slightest change and create new ones. The perfect number for aspiration is 10. This means to list 10 aspirations and recite them every night until the next moon cycle. Remember, never make the affirmations begin with “I can”, they must be worded “I can be any one I want to be”
Affirmations for the energy of the New Moon in Aries
I use my intolerance and anger beneficially … to make constructive changes in my life.
I respect the influence behind my passions and desires … and use this power prudently.
I use my self-assertion to construct, control,
and maintain the circumstances I want in my life.
I offer courageous, positive guidance to myself
and others with my choices and measures.
With delight and appreciation, I launch my inventiveness …
to begin the vital creations and projects of my life.
This new moon will yank soul and spirit, bring faith and healing. However, it is also action-oriented. It instigates principles in our lives to start something new. Perhaps a new project, a new relationship or bring back an old one, or is it that you want your personal freedom now? It is about reinventing, reconsidering, and allowing you to let the past go and be eager about what is yet to come.
It is time to let go of the ways that were not working and release venomous relationships that no longer work by focusing on tolerance and moving on. This new moon will bring forth those issues by forcing one to come to terms with harsh truths and releases. These issues are the things that continue to hold you back.
Please note that I am not an astrologer; rather a Vedic reader and astrological venues are the groundwork utilities needed to enhance Vedic reading. It is my recommendation that after you have spoken to me that you contact my recommended astrologers: Leslie Hale or my recommended advisers under my useful links here, for the best advice possible before the eclipses and begin to make transformational changes which you are not aware of.
Remember, an Astrologer tells you what could happen while Vedic readings give direction to what you can do about it. Vedic readings will NOT tell you what to do; rather, tell you the forks ahead to be able to make the best decision which is honorable to all.
May this moon bring you the energy that you need to begin new things and be inspired to be creative.

Full Moon in Libra
March 27, 2013
By Maharani Rutan ©
On March 27, 2013 we will have a Full moon in Libra 5:27am EST and 2:27 am Pacific at 6 to 7 degrees in Libra depending upon the orb. This is an important aspect for Liberians and those that have Libra in their charts.
When the Moon is full, there is strong gravitational pull between the Moon on one side of the earth and the Sun on the other. This type of energy can have a great effect on human beings as we are pulled in opposite directions. Not everyone will notice this push and pull however as it will depend on how powerful the Moon is in your Astrological chart; especially early born Libras or those that have early degrees of Libra somewhere in their charts.
There is no doubt that this energy creates an inner pull, fullness – and may assist us to connect psychologically with others. Everything becomes vibrant and more passionate under the light of the Full Moon – sensations and personalities can become quite inflated, and we may have more consciousness and focus on relationships.
Alternatively, we do have residual energy that is still lurking in the cosmos from Mercury so things may still stir up a bit and communication may still go astray until the 28th of March or at the latest March 30, 2013. Read more about it here.
There is a feeling being energized by the light of the Moon and you may have more incandescent dreams. On the other hand, bleeding and hemorrhaging are more likely during a Full Moon, so take care. This is the time to Reap, Pray, be Grateful, and to work on productiveness and affluence. Love and Romance go wild under a Full Moon especially around midnight.
A full moon produces high objectiveness, clarity and awareness of needs and the needs of others. UNDER THIS FULL MOON, ENERGIES ARE GEARED TO THE PSYCHOLOGICAL REALM. Traditionally, early folklore called this moon “Full pink moon”. It is almost like a wakeup call to spring and first spring flowers appear in the dusk. The plants and herbs are ready to be harvested and dried as the richness of the first harvest is realized.
A moon in Libra craves for a harmonious relationship with a loving partner to feel at peace emotionally and connect on a spiritual level. A greater need to constantly assessing emotions, seeking just the right balance with others is of importance. A flare for beauty and art can express these in a meaningful way. By nurturing others, treating them fairly, and seeing their beautiful qualities will allow the deep connection that is greatly desired.
Libra Moon embraces melodious relationships. It works to make sure that love is kept and nurtured. This is done by pleasing the people who are close through kindness, a charming manner, and with music and beautiful things. Libra Moon desires close friendship, partnership or marriage to feel nurtured and safe.
Peace, harmony and pleasant surroundings are the focus to this moon; especially in emotional situations, where the Libra Moon forces the tendency to act out of rational and provides the energy to make fair decisions. Even if it means halting a confrontation, there will be finesse available to defuse the situation.
People will have strong sensitivity to, and magnetism for, others. This comes from the Libran search for harmony and balance; for the Libra nature emphasizes teamwork. It’s a good time to form trust of all natures—friendships, marriages, and business. The planet Venus manifests the environment as an approachable, accepting nature and a desire to beautify many things which rules Libra.
It is an excellent time for imaginative work as the beauty of Venus is a combine with the intellectual ease of an air sign. Altogether it’s a lovely time for social gathering, when the awareness of self as expressed in the first six signs of the zodiac, becomes united with the awareness of the needs and desires of others.
Since, moon in Libra represents Amiable, Beautiful, and Comfortable, Impartial, and devoted it is my suggestion for us to remain stable. This full moon is extraordinary to many signs. It is my suggestion that a yellow candle with your name carved will bring the positive energy that will emphasize this full moon along with anointing the candle with lavender oil or peppermint and chant the psalm 26. You may also choose to recite a mantra every morning until the next moon cycle April 10, 2013.
Remember that with all applications of psalms and mantras achieving the desired result is dependent upon the quality of intention, and when it comes to finding satisfying relationships, it is of the greatest importance to begin with a clear understanding of what your goal should be. The mantras can be hard to pronounce for many but it is a powerful source of energy the mantra for Libra moon is:
Om Shukrya Namaha
(Om Shoo-krah-yah Nahm-ah-ah)
This mantra produces the quality of friendship within oneself including others.
The intention of this mantra is to smooth your path in life by helping you understand the lessons you have set for yourself. Through karma the negativity will surpass with every moon cycle. Remember to cross out the old affirmation even if there is a slightest change and create a new one. The perfect number for aspiration is 10. This means to list 10 aspirations and recite them every night until the next moon cycle. Remember never make the affirmations beginning with “I balance”, it must be worded “I need balance in my life with friendship and love.”
Many people have asked the question how often they should have a reading done by a physic or a tarot reader. In my opinion, an in-depth reading should be done every moon cycle or when it is affecting you astrologically. Additionally, relationship readings should be limited to once a month so that anxiety and urgency does not become the emanate energy instead of patience and faith.
Since, every moon cycle represents a change; it not only affects our external forces but our internal forces as well. Of course, we all have burning questions every now and then and it maybe necessary to have a reading done more often, but sometimes we have to let the universe take its course.
When dealing with a tragic situation it is my suggestion that before you have a reading done you must clear away negativity and fear from your emotions so that a reader can give you the clearest reading possible. Remember, every psychic bases all their telephone readings on your energy. So remember to ask guidance from the higher power before having a reading so that you can be neutral with your energy.
The clearest answers can be given when energy is at a neutral point. Never get a reading with your energy is scattered because you may not receive the best reading possible. This is the main reason why many readers do not go beyond the 3 to 6 month mark.
Please note: I am not an astrologer and these are general tendencies. Vedic readings incorporate the sun/moon signs to help you bring alternatives to disillusioned circumstances. Through Vedic readings there are solutions which can help you embrace and adjust through your own modification.
To find out how this moon will affect you astrologically, I would suggest you contact my recommended astrologer Leslie Hale who can assist you in what you could expect. Whereas Vedic readings can help you find the hurdles and find temporary solutions to alter the future forever.
Enjoy this moon and as always, remember astrologically or not, the full moon always creates a little tension and people act silly so be cautious driving or making decisions.

New Moon in Pisces
March 11, 2013
By Maharani Rutan©
On March 11, 2013 we will have a New moon in Pisces at 21 degrees Pisces at approximately, 3:51 EST, 12:51 PST depending upon the orb. Those that will be effected by this moon will be just about everyone, especially those that have primary planets in Pisces.
The New Moon signals a time of development. There is a desire to take action and instigate something fresh, be it a small modification in the way of daily routines or making changes large enough to impact a whole new life. The energy is right for making impulsive passages and following your dispositions. This is the time to act from your soul and trust the progression – take a risk.
Please remember we are still under mercury energy and relationships may have difficulties and communications may go disarray read more about it here.
The New Moon blesses new openings and new things, and it is an invitation to chance. Wants will supersede needs during his new moon energy. It is about creations, visions, opportunities especially for a higher spiritual level.
The new moon in Pisces normally is a time of harmony, love, and the engraining of every seed; whether it is a life or on the ground. It is a time of earth regeneration when the first traces of spring are so teasingly close. It’s also a moon of Shiva who destroys our faultiness in order to bring spiritual growth and progress.
The Pisces new moon represents a time of very melodramatic moods and reactions. Self-destruction and compulsions can arise for those in the hold of pessimism and glumness. It also becomes more problematic to appreciate and grow in the quality of life .The power of emotional energy can be advantageous if directed into imaginative activities and self-healing, but often there is a strong desire to simply slip into distraction. It is better to pander in positive interests, rather than yield to more damaging escapist activity.
Depressive tendencies can easily take control of one’s life under this New Moon. The influence of this New Moon can be especially difficult or perplexing for those who were born under a New Moon PHASE, as well as for those of the mutable Sun Signs Virgo, Gemini & Sagittarius. Also, for those whose birth Moon is in Pisces, this New Moon can represent a critical time for potential coincidences, hurts, sloppiness and the undertaking of rash decisions or judgments.
The Watery Pisces Moon feels everyone’s anguishes with a kind and sensitive heart. Stretch what you put to others, share your visions, and create from your deep imagination. Don’t let your drifting heart get lost! The Moon in Pisces marks a time of passionate compassion, melancholy, and devoutness. People may become more subtle, empathetic, and ingenious. Imagination will be heightened; this is a good time to explore musical talents and other artistic endeavors. Represented by a Pair of Fish, Pisceans are altruistic and spiritual, often strongly intuitive, and they are amenable to the collective cataleptic. While the Moon moves through Pisces, people may feel dedicated and calm but also brittle, passive, and fearful. Dreams and memories may stir during this influence.
Neptune that brings as inclination towards psychic impressions rules Pisces Imagination is strong when the moon is in Pisces There is a discriminating sensitivity to music and other incorporeal forces. Tendencies are to be emotional, spiritual, and self-sacrificing. The moon in Pisces adds a developing impressionability that can create feelings of vulnerability, drifting into withdrawal as an emotional protection. People may feel a passive sentimental gentleness, kind and cheerful but too easily discouraged. Some might experience stirrings of vague memories (often identified as past lives) or insights into spiritual meanings of current situations.
Since the moon in Pisces is Profound, Creative, Psychic, Vicarious, and Imaginative we must remain focused and uses our Physic abilities to move towards our decision-making. It is my suggestion that you purchase a Purple candle and carve your name through the wick. Anoint the candle with Sage oil or Lavender oil and chant the psalm 08. You may also choose to recite a mantra every morning until the next moon cycle. Remember that with all applications of psalms and mantras achieving the desired result is depended upon the quality of intention, and when it comes to finding satisfying relationships, it is of the greatest importance to begin with a clear understanding of what your goal should be. The mantras can be hard to pronounce for many but it is a powerful source of energy the mantra for Pisces moon is:
“Om Nama Shivaya”
(Om Nah-Mah Shee-Vah Yah)
This Siddha mantra uses the universal elements that govern each charka: Earth, Water, Fire and Air. This is also a time of Mahashivratri for most Hindus and thus an auspicious time for renewal and rebirth for many of us.
With every moon cycle, remember to cross out the old affirmation even if there is the slightest change and create new ones. The perfect number for aspiration is 10. This means one should list 10 aspirations and recite them every night until the next moon cycle. Remember, never make the affirmations beginning with “I must”, it must be worded “I will be guided.”
Please remember that I am not an astrologer, rather a Vedic reader; there is a vast difference. If you are looking to see how this new moon will effect you directly I suggest you look up some of my wonderful colleagues that specialize in that field, and those areas. You may find my recommended astrologer Leslie Hale and others here.
My readings focus on the changes that could be implemented to bring sublime bliss to difficult situations and helping you find forks to make choices.
Many people have asked the question how often they should have a reading done by a physic or a tarot reader. In my opinion, an in depth reading should be done every moon cycle. Since, every moon cycle represents a change, it not only affects our external forces but our internal forces as well.
Remember that every psychic bases their telephone readings on your energy. So remember to ask guidance from the higher power before having a reading so that you can be neutral with your energy. The clearest answers can be given when energy is at a neutral point. Never get a reading when your energy is scattered because you may not receive the best reading possible. 98% of all physics are empathic and clairvoyant so this energy is very important to them, as well as you. Always remember that every reader has their boundaries as to how far in the future they want to read. This is their choice; however, reading beyond 6 months is a very hazy situation. Our free will plays an important role in our destiny and we are able to change anything.
Let this moon bring you possibilities in every sector of your life especially spirituality.

Full Moon in Virgo
February 25, 2013
On February 25, 2013 we will be transiting to a Full Moon in Virgo at 7 degrees in Virgo. Those that will be affected with the Full moon Virgo early born Virgo’s which is first 10 days in the sign of Virgo, including those that have the sun, moon or influencing planets in Virgo.
Native Americans call this moon a cleansing moon this most likely due to two full moons in February and March. It’s also known as the hunger moon due to hunting becomes very difficult in many cases it is also called the snow moon because the snow falls are the heaviest during the month of February as we had seen in New York and North east regions.
As we transit through this earth moon careful consideration is needed since Mercury Retrograde is in its full force until March 17 when it begins to move forwards in motion. Read more about it here. This means that we need to take extra time driving, and being very careful with our composure. Perhaps the only positive thing during this full moon would be when Venus enters Pisces. This could mean spiritual love, or a deeper understanding of spirituality.
The temperatures are now warming up and the birds are now flying back north. This brilliant full moon demands our attention. The full moon is a period of endings and bringing a new phase into our lives. This means to research and evaluate life and find where there can be a balance between our needs and wants. Recognize people in your life as well as relationships can be quite significant at this time. There is a great need to share, and merge ideas of a higher plane and bring to this world the inner nature and outer personality through abilities to give what can be given.
The influence of this Full Moon is going to be especially challenging for those who are born on the full moon, or mutable sign. If you birthday falls within the first 10 days before of the Virgo calendar this will have a great impact on the natal sun having to juggle time between home and career.
During this marvelous full moon reaching goals is our first priority. Strip yourself of all marginal roles, doubts, and insignificant pursuits, and dive into the ocean of light permeate all existence. Like a grain of sand that dissolves in the vast sea, release your individual ego into the infinite embrace of divine awareness. Breathe in light; breathe out light. Feel the cells of your body become incandescent and lucid with the all-pervading glow of God. Allow the heavy burdens of the past months to drop away.
According to Vedic philosophies with the moon in Virgo there are tendencies of hesitance or misperception at the same time being very collective and rational. Since Virgo is ruled by mercury there is a greater need to exchange rather than dream. There is a need of setting strong standards by being ornate and being prejudice. There may be a need to be thorough within the home just in time for spring cleaning. Through this moon perhaps there may be even some exhaustion to the numbers of project that are taken on. There also tendencies of feeling sick even through the energies of the psyche.
The Moon in Virgo brings a time for finding refuge of realism, exploration, and competence. Everything must be procedural and cataloged. Due to Virgo’s disposition there is tendency to worrying and cantankerous. However, if there is appreciation this all goes away. This is a good time to complete projects, particularly smaller scale projects that require organization and attention to detail. Due to Virgo’s association with health, food and fitness may be concerns during this time. Also, people may be withdrawn as they are absorbed and intellectual pursuits. Critical thinking is emphasized, and caution needs to be taken to avoid being too precarious or hypercritical.
Virgo is ruled by Mercury, as is Gemini. While the Moon is in Virgo, it also a good time for academic pursuit, but not it is better for those requiring serious details rather than inventiveness. This is a good time for taking care of any matter that requires scrupulous attention. People may become nervous and retrieving with Moon passing through Virgo and will tend to be judicious, hard to please and even overly critical at times.
The mantras can be hard to pronounce for many but it is a powerful source of energy the mantra for Virgo moon is:
“Om Eim Saraswatiyei Swaha”
(Om I’M Sah-Rah-Swah-Tee-Yei Swah- Ha)
This mantra invokes energy for making any projects fruitful and successful.
The intention of this mantra is the to keep up in balance from loosing our temper through darkness and unfocused energy
Also remember Mercury Retrograde ghost period.. is here and therefore to bring serenity in communication the mantra that should be recited until March 30, 2013 and that mantra is:
“Om Buddha Ya Namaha
(om Bud Daha Ya Na Ma Ha)
This mantra brings peace and tranquility which things become erratic in communication and travel.
These times can be very crucial and perhaps March 16 through the 25th of March can be quite intense. It is my recommendation that a follow up in-depth reading on the self may be taken into consideration. If you have not had a reading done in some time I would suggest you do so now. Especially if you are a mutable sign or have any planets in (Pisces, Virgo, Gemini, or Sagittarius).
In addition please note I am not an astrologer nor do I claim to be however, celestial transformation is the ground work for Vedic readers. In addition to Vedic reading I would recommend that you speak to my recommended Astrologers, and their link can be found here. Each astrologer has a unique delivery and I would suggest you visit their site and see what you discover. You will be amazed at their skill and abilities of understanding the transformational transits in your chart.
I wish you the most peaceful journey through this full moon and know I am always a phone call away.

Mercury Retrograde Spring 2013
Ghost Period February 09 -February 22, 2013
Retrograde Period February 23, 2013 -March 17, 2013
Stationing Period March 18 -31, 2013
On February 09, 2013 mercury begins its journey fast track backwards in time and the initial ghost period begins on the 9th and continues until February 22, 2013. On February 23, 2013, it is stationary while bringing with it confusion, missed communication, break ups, make ups and forces each and every one of us to think back at our past to see if we made the correct decisions. This planet is a very slow moving planet; therefore it continues its journey until 17th of March when it begins to move forward again to let us know that whatever decision is we must stick by it.
Remember if you meet someone new during retrograde it may be very confusing and slow period unless you or the other person have strong planets it may be short lived or that you might reconnect with a past only to find out after the retrograde phase is over that it was not worth it. Perhaps nothing has really changed or you might even notice people come knocking at your door to finish their journey. Whatever happens remember it is a journey not a path.
This retrograde it is placed in the planets of Pisces so what ever house Pisces is in whether it is your sun sign, moon , Venus or ascendant it will have a high impact on the predominate signs. Often times all mutable signs (Gemini, Pisces, Virgo and Sagittarius) are affected by the retrograde period.
A planet is described as retrograde when it appears to be moving backwards through the zodiac. This traditional concept arises in the illusory planetary motion created by the orbital rotation of the earth, with relation to other planets in our solar system. Planets are never actually retrograde or stationary, they just seem that way.
Even it seems that this will be a dreadful journey-remember for every window that closes a door opens. With this remarkable retrograde period join the New Moon in Aquarius with it will bring new way of being assertive, love freely and bring friendships to new beginnings on February 10, 2012. Along with it the cosmos will surely make sure that you learn the lessons in love when Venus Square Saturn (karmic lessons) as well as making sure that you respect your bosses when Mars Square Jupiter that same day. So breathe… during that time and know this shall too pass.
Retrograde periods, although often challenging for us humans, are not predominantly unusual. Each planet retrogrades, except the Sun and Moon. Mercury, much like the winged messenger of the gods, comes in on feather-light wings and commands us to speak. Communication, understanding and consciousness are all within Mercury’s domain, as are reasoning and rational, our manner of philosophy, and how we create and express our thought processes.
A mercurial nature brings to mind restlessness and motion. Rat-a-tat-tat — things happen fast here. Mercury is about a quick wit, quick thinking, promises, sentiments, thinking and the ability to justify things. Mercurial energy can be good or bad, but it will certainly be invigorating! This Planet also prompts us to move from one thing to the next and to get answers on both a corporeal and emotional level. Further, Mercury’s energy is both agile and insightful. Mercury is about short trips: a visit to a neighbor or a friend across town, the workaday commute, and a weekend getaway.
Siblings and transportation in general, are also within Mercury’s realm. Dialogue, writing, books, online communications and learning are all within Mercury’s domain. This Planet implores us to express ourselves often — and well. Because Mercury rules messages and transportation, these two areas are most influenced during a Mercury Retrograde. Conversations might be more problematic, as crossed signals and unclear meanings confuse normally straightforward discussions. Still, with a little thoughtfulness and contemplation, you’ll get your point across.
Similarly, be prepared with a back-up plan when you’re traveling. If your flight gets canceled or your car won’t start, remain calm and make the best of it. Who knows — you might not have met that fascinating new person in the airport lobby or bus stop if you had taken your flight or driven to work…
Remember, we can use this powerful energy in positive ways. Use this time to do activities that start with “re”: renew, repair, review, renegotiate, and research…
In general, Mercury rules thoughtfulness and awareness, processing and propagating information and all means of communication, commerce and transportation. By extension, Mercury rules people who work in these areas, especially people who work with their minds or their wits: writers and speakers, reporters and censors, gossips and spin doctors, tricksters and thieves.
“Mercury retro in Pisces creates mental and emotional confusion, with strange dreams sometimes psychic experiences. Mental process being entwined with emotions, we find it hard to separate ideas and opinions from passion and idealism. Our mental orientation can be unstable, unrealistic and overly-spiritual but it also inclines to laziness and increases the urge to consume alcohol. Nervousness and stress even unfounded fears and paranoia are stimulated especially from working or living in hostile environment inclines to a sharp, sarcastic tongue.”
Maintain confidentiality and self-respect in the working environment and do not try to read between the lines, when there is really nothing to find.” Mercury retrograde gives rise to personal misinterpretations; inconsistent, disrupted, or delayed communications, negotiations and trade; glitches and breakdowns with phones, computers, cars, buses, and trains. And all of these problems usually arise because some crucial piece of information, or component, has gone astray, or awry.
When Mercury is retrograde, everyone’s thinking is more introspective and we tend to think about issues and concern that relate to the sign involved. There is, however, an opportunity to gain insight into one’s own ego. Mercury sets out to rearrange our thinking processes and for many of us this is agonizing and exasperating. Moreover, these experiences reveal flaws in our internal organization as well as our external planning, which can make us feel imprudent and insufficient. All areas of communication are affected. Methods and motivation for education, communication and transportation are subject to difficulties under this aspect. It brings travel snafus and missed appointments of all kinds. Documents can go astray. Be sure to carry a diary and refer to it often. The good things to do when Mercury is Retrograde: meditate, contemplate, edit the book/poem/song/essay you’ve been writing, clean house, talk to your pet, listen to music, paint, and catch up on sleep!
Since, mercury is a very slow moving planet and it effect almost all planetary signs .It is my suggestion that you purchase a yellow candle and carve your name through the wick. Anoint the candle with Inspiration oil or Eucalyptus oil and chant the psalm 70 every single night. This period will last for 3 weeks and it will be hard on all of us. This will allow friendly communications as well as understandings in situations. You may also choose to recite a mantra every morning until March 26.
Remember that with all applications of psalms and mantras achieving the desired result is depended upon the quality of intention, and when it comes to finding satisfying relationships, it is of the greatest importance to begin with a clear understanding of what your goal should be. The mantras can be hard to pronounce for many but it is a powerful source of energy I have chosen two mantras for you during this mercury retrograde:
“Om Budhaya Namaha”
(Om Bood-han-yah Nahm-ah-ha)
“Om and salutations to Buddha, presiding spirit of planet mercury”
This mantra is used to achieve mental clarity, to avoid and overcome misunderstandings and keep friendly communications flowing.
Please note everyone has Pisces somewhere in their chart, those that will be affected the most during this transitional period is mutable signs (Virgo, Sagittarius, Pisces and Gemini). This means those with mutable signs such as the sun or the moon or even ascendants will be affected.
These are general tendencies, perhaps you will feel the push or pull perhaps not but to find out how this retrograde will affect you, I would suggest you make a an appointment with my recommended adviser Leslie Hale (here) or get in touch with any of my recommended astrologers (here).
I am not an astrologer nor do I claim to be Vedic readings are focused and geared to show you the emphasis of actions and reactions and uses sun and the moon sign as a ground work giving you the best possibilities. This is so that you can make your own free will decision and it is not influenced by another rather what is in your best interest.
Take this time to nap, relax and enjoy the slowness and ahhh later..
For those that are fixed signs (Scorpio, Aquarius, Leo and Taurus) please remember you will feel the effects of Saturn even if you are not a Scorpio. You may read about this period here. And others are still being affected by the Lunar Eclipse in November 2012. Read more about it here

Full Moon in Leo
January 26, 2013
On January, 26, 2013, at 11:38ESTand 8:38pm PST the Full moon will enter Leo at 7 degrees depending upon the placement of the orb. Leo is the natural sign of the home. This is also a very inspirational aspect for fixed signs (Aquarius, Taurus, Leo and Scorpio) with remarkable endings which leads the pathway to new beginning.
According to native Indian writings and karmic transitions, the first full moon in January is known as the “Cold moon or the Wolf moon” due to cold weather. Additionally, perfect weather for wolves to come out play in the forest and hunt.
January will definitely bring a quite roller coaster rides for many. On the day before the full moon Mercury will square Saturn. This means not only communication may be at its high Saturn in Scorpio will may force many to listen and learn from past mistakes additionally for many Jupiter has been retrograde and will move forwards or at least start to move forwards on January 30, 2013. So if money was a little tight or feelings of debt and bills were overwhelming since October this is for many Jupiter has been retrograde in motion. Therefore, along with crazy communication and difficult lessons … Jupiter will come and kiss it and make all better.
Like everything that transmutes monthly and throughout the seasons as does the moon, the full moon’s substance is created when the gravitational orbit pulls the moon around the Earth and the sun. As the moon shifts behind the Earth the moon appears to have radiance cycle which is considered a “Waxing” stage. As the moon moves further behind the Earth the Sun’s luminosity will illuminate the visibility of the moon making it look like a large white spot in the sky. This gravitational pull affects the weather patterns which can result in high tides (great for surfing); hence Earthlings and animals will also feel this pull, which can cause touchiness and high emotions. The full moon explains many activities that have been a trigger to events from human obsession to romance. This is not a negative revocation rather a positive the main reasoning is that light has brought a day is dawning which allows carefree and spirited tendencies where nothing matters but the self-expression.
Perhaps there will be no notice of these effects (depending on how powerful the Moon is in your Astrological chart), but there is no doubt that this energy creates an inner pull, fullness – and may help us to connect substantially with others. Everything becomes richer and more powerful under the light of the Full Moon – sentiments and individuality can become quite exaggerated, and there may even be more focus to bring peace and romance in areas of relationships. The energy is so intense that luminous dreams are predictable. Bleeding and hemorrhaging are more likely during a Full Moon, so take care. This is the time to gather, meditate and be Appreciative, and to work on productivity and accomplishment. Love and Romance go wild under a Full Moon, especially around midnight. In a full moon naturally attracts high objectivity, clear minded and awareness own needs and the needs of others.
Often full moons are compared to chapters in a book; the notion of creating new chapters in our own lives is like a chapter in a book. Every full moon we create a thesis which means we plan a change logically that we need to modify because of circumstances which are no longer working. Whether it is the way we look at a situation or deal with problems in our own lives the transformation is imitate because old ways are not working. As the moon begins to move from light to darkness and creates a metamorphism to a New moon we create antithesis. The powerful energy of the new moon (which was couple of weeks ago) gave initiation of clarity in what needs to change, our thesis (idea or a change) is it possible or is it a negation which causes a reaction, and we begin to plant the seeds. As the moon orbits to cultivate it self into waxing moon we are reaching to solve struggles between thesis (ideas or a change) and antithesis (what we need to do to make it happen or what wont work) and this synthesis will allow the truth to form new idea while resolving issues that do not work in our lives. In easier terms we could end a chapter in our lives or even began a new one. But changes will be the climax.
The Moon in Leo marks a time of ambition and magnetism. Ruled by the Sun, Leo creates a power of warmth, desire, and inclination. People may feel motivated, illustrious, and generous. It is a good time to chase romance, be societal, and to help others. Like the Lion that symbolizes Leo, people may feel poised but also crave for support and reaction. Care needs to be taken to avoid theatrical displays to grab the spotlight or leadership positions. There is an emotional need to sparkle and be praised by others. Expression of feelings may be in a childlike manner – either playfully or spectacularly. There is a natural tendency to be around children. Nurturing others by giving praise and encouraging them to be strong, bold and fearless is the key of Leo’s strength. There is also a desire to view a mother or a motherly figure to be grandiose, spectacular or admired person, and look for individuality, warmth and strength in that relationship
The Leo energy can sometimes cause us to be more biased, tenacious, gratified, irritated, arrogant, narcissistic, and patronizing. It’s harder (but not impossible) to make changes or be flexible, Since the Moon is the closest ‘Planet’ to Earth, and this satellite literally zips around the Zodiac, completing its circuit in less than a month. It also touches us more deeply than most Planets. The influence of this FULL MOON can be especially difficult or challenging for those who were born under a FULL MOON PHASE, as well as for those of the fixed Sun Signs [Leo, Scorpio, Aquarius and Taurus].
Since, moon in Leo is Lively, Brave, Histrionic, Administrative, and Systematized AND TEMPERAMENTAL. It is my suggestion that you purchase a Green candle and carve your name one through the wick. Anoint the candle with lemon oil or Lavender oil and chant the psalm 65. The mantras can be hard to pronounce for many but it is a powerful source of energy the mantra for Leo moon is:
“Om Sri suryaya namaha”
(Om Shree sur-ya-ya nam-aha)
This mantra will aid greatly in the peaceful and sweet transition to a new and positive energy states.
With every moon cycle, remember to cross out the old affirmation even if there is a slightest change and create new ones. The perfect number for aspiration is 10. This means to list 10 aspirations and recite them every night until the next moon cycle. Remember never make the affirmations beginning with “I want”, it must be worded “I need to be guided..”
Please note I am not an Astrologer nor claim to be one. The Vedic readings incorporate the energies for the moon and sun to guide the reader to bring the most cultivating answers to every day changes which brings forks in the road to make your own destiny through answers of the future. Hence if you are looking for magnified events which would affect your journey I would suggest you make an appointment with my recommended astrologers and see what journey is up ahead for you and I am just your guide to show you how your actions and decisions cause you forks up ahead for you.
These are general tendencies though some things can be similar to what I have explained. Each chart, vision, destiny, karma and spiritual path is individualized by the grace of the higher power. To find out how this moon will affect you personally I highly recommend you make an appointment to speak to my recommend astrologer Leslie Hale or Lee Stillwater to lead you to the best way to deal with conflict and resolutions.
Share this beautiful journey which we call life. I hope that it is the best journey you have ever taken with gratitude, peace, love, humility and honesty which embraces changes which bring sublime bliss.

New Moon in Capricorn
January 11, 2013
Though 2012 leaves us with many good and bad memories we continue to plant the seeds for a better tomorrow…..
On January 11, 2013, we will have a New Moon in Capricorn; this spectacular event will take place 21 degrees in Capricorn at 11:44am PST and 2:44pm PST
Even though Venus enters Capricorn on January 08, 2013, there could be some arguments that may occur January 12; a day after the new moon. This is when Venus squares Uranus and is all about expecting the unexpected in areas of love and money. Venus will also conjunct Pluto which means something hidden could be revealed all of a sudden; again, both in love or money. Hopefully, it is not long lived therefore being a hiccup in the celestial transformations.
The New Moon signals a time of beginnings. There is an urge to take and begin something new– take a risk, live in the moment, dance to your own drummer. What do you want to build in your life? What prophecy do you wish to become noticeable? The New Moon begins a new cycle. It is the seed of the creation lunar cycle. The chart of the New Moon is the key to influences in the coming lunar month. The New Moon is an asking (invocative) time, and a time to express what our needs are; bestowing to the prospects available through this moon in Capricorn. The moon urges you to distinguish and honor the importance of the “other” – other people, other ideas, and other values.
Relationships are of great significance at this time, and you feel a need to share, to unite, to partner, whether passionately or through other channels. You are called upon now to work toward realizing equilibrium – stability of your inner nature and outer personality, poise of your need to take with your ability to give, steadiness of your ultimate principles with what is possible in the world. Capricorn Moon sets us straight up the mountainside toward our highest goals.
Dig in those hooves and get climbing! Reputation, success, go,go,go….. You can tackle anything. Love seriously, too. This is the time to Harvest, Pray and be Thankful, and to work on fertility and prosperity. There are tendencies to have a highly subjective personality, to accomplish and fulfill personal plans and ideals. But there is also a tendency to react impulsively and emotionally.
Propriety and dignity in all things will be the focus – thus, expression may be difficult to express. Take all emotional situations seriously; weighing the outcome of words and actions. A greater need to be socializing around people who are disciplined and correct is also a theme for this New Moon along with ambitiousness, practicality, and being a good leader. By nurturing others there is acknowledgment of their achievements and encouraging them to persevere. The greater need is to look to your mother for discipline and order, and you may see her as a person of high status.
With the moon in Capricorn, the trembling of Saturn is emphasized. It is time for material drive and an awareness of work and obligation. In the search for status and financial security, people might become impervious, even heartlessly cruel, but the selfishness is a necessity rather than hostility.
The Saturn influences of Capricorn cause cynicism or pessimism to creep in. Generally, while the Moon is in Capricorn energy is lethargic. It is time for industriously applying to tasks while living solely in the present.
The moon in Capricorn is Determined, Somber, Indomitable, Concrete, and Capricious. You may also choose to recite a mantra every morning until the next moon cycle. Remember that with all applications of psalms and mantras achieving the desired result is depended upon the quality of intention, and when it comes to finding a satisfying relationships and success, it is of the greatest importance to begin with a clear understanding of what your goal should be. The mantras can be hard to pronounce for many but it is a powerful source of energy the mantra for Capricorn moon is:
Om Sri Shanaishwarya Namaha
(OM Sri Shan aish shwarya Namaha)
The intention of this mantra is to guard and protect and fulfill needs.
It is my suggestion that you purchase a green candle and recite psalm 117 if you find the mantras too difficult. Make sure you take the time to write down 10 aspirations and recite them every day and word them to say I can have…
Many people have asked the question “how often they should have a reading done by a physic or a tarot reader?” In my opinion, an in depth reading should be done every moon cycle. Since, every moon cycle represents a change it not only affects our external forces but our internal forces as well. Of course, we all have burning questions every now and then and it may be necessary to have a reading done more often, but sometimes we have to let the universe take its course. When dealing with a tragic situation, it is my suggestion that before you have a reading done you must clear away negativity and fear from your emotions so that a reader can give you the clearest reading possible.
Remember, every psychic hones all their telephone readings on your energy. So remember to ask guidance from the higher power before having a reading so that you can be neutral with your energy. The clearest answers can be given when energy is at a neutral point. Never get a reading with your energy is scattered because you may not receive the best reading possible. 98% of all physics are empathic and clairvoyant so this energy is very important to them as well as you. Always remember that every reader has their boundaries as to how far in the future they want to read. This is of their choice; however, reading beyond 6 months is a very hazy situation.
Please note I am not an Astrologer, these are general tendencies which are incorporated in Vedic foresight which enhance and bring the distinction between the East and West.
To understand how this moon would impact your life astrologically. you may contact my recommended adviser Leslie Hale (here) or contact other astrologers on my recommended astrologers and advisers here.
Vedic reading is very unique, its greater value is to enhance the actions beyond the word it bring explanations and closures. It brings complications to the forefront to bring easier resolutions. It brings two paths which focus on what is now and what it could be in the future. But most of all it freezes time like it is in warp energy so that proper evaluation could be made as to which path could deliver positive results or manifested results.
Wishing you the best of the new year and the most wonderful 2013.
