New Moon in Virgo

New Moon in Virgo

By

Maharani Rutan

On September 08, 2010 we will have a new moon in Virgo at 15 degrees.  You may be able to see it at around 6:30am EST 3:30am PST and 15:41GMT.

Please remember that we are still feeling the stagnation of Mercury Retrograde therefore, don’t expect any relief to begin until September 12, 2010 hence, keep in mind it won’t be at the position it was before moving backwards until September 27, 2010. Read more about this stagnation period Here. Those that will be affected by this new moon will be later signs of Virgo and if you are born under a different sun sign look to see where Virgo is present in your chart this is where your life changes.

The New Moon signals a time starting something new, gaining clarity and taking leap of faith.  There is an urge to take risk and even if it means baby steps.  It’s a new way of thinking it’s a new way going on with your daily routines; even it means to take a different way home to work or changing your routines.  The vigor is right for making spur-of-the-moment moves and following your instincts. This is the time to act from your spirit and have the conviction in progression – take a possibility, live in the instant, dance to your own drummer.

The New Moon blesses new initial stages, and invites you to take an opportunity! What do you want to generate in your life? What image do you wish to manifest? The new begins a new cycle.  New moon is asking you to make time to prepare for what your needs are according to the prospects you have in your life and what is available to you (through time of Virgo this month).

The Moon in Virgo brings a time of reasonableness, psychoanalysis, and effectiveness. People may feel more productive and detail-oriented. As a result, this is a good time to accomplish projects, particularly smaller scale projects that require organization and attention to detail. If you are a Virgo one advice for you take it easy nothing is going away that you have to finish everything now. If you know someone that is a Virgo, be compassionate towards them they may seem rushed to get things done or get things in order, take everything they say because of their needs to get things done and Mercury Retrograde is not helping them.

Virgo may also be obsessed with health, food and fitness. Also, people may be introverted as they are engrossed in meditation and intellectual pursuits. Because critical thinking is emphasized, caution needs to be taken to avoid being too critical or judgmental. Virgo is ruled by Mercury, as is Gemini. Therefore Gemini’s may also get a blunt of the obsession to clean and get rid of clutter.

The Moon is in Virgo invites intellectual pursuits, but not it is better for those requiring decisive details rather than original creativity. This is a good time for taking care of any matter that requires meticulous attention. People may become withdrawn and retrieving with Moon passing through Virgo and will tend to be selective, particular and even overly anxious at times. These influences lead to a concern about food and health, for Virgo rules the intestines and power of assimilation. Many people may feel the urge to clean up their homes at this time that is a good way to channel Virgo energy.

Since, moon in Virgo is realistic, meticulous, clean, fussy, and accommodating. It is my suggestion that you purchase a Green candle and carve your name through the wick. Anoint the candle with Inspiration oil or Eucalyptus oil and chant the psalm 5. You may also choose to recite a mantra every morning until the next moon cycle.

Remember that with all functions of psalms and mantras achieving the desired result is depended upon the quality of intention, and when it comes to finding satisfying relationships, it is of the greatest importance to begin with a clear understanding of what your goal should be.

The mantras can be hard to pronounce for many but it is a powerful source of energy the mantra for Virgo moon is:

Om Eim Saraswatiyei Swaha

(Om I’M Sah-Rah-Swah-Tee-Yei Swah- Ha)

This mantra invokes energy for making any tasks fruitful and successful. With every moon cycle, remember to cross out the old affirmation even if there is a slightest change and create new ones. The perfect number for aspiration is 10. This means to list 10 aspirations and recite them every night until the next moon cycle. Remember never make the affirmations beginning with “I will”, it must be worded “I will be guided..”

Many people have asked the question how often they should have a reading done by a physic or a tarot reader. In my opinion an in depth reading should be done every moon cycle. Since, every moon cycle represents a change it not only affects our external forces but our internal forces as well. Remember every psychic base all their telephone readings on your energy. Therefore, before phoning your favorite psychic ask for guidance from the higher power before having a reading so that you can be neutral with your energy. The clearest answers can be given when energy is at a neutral point. Never get a reading with your energy is scattered because you may not receive the best reading possible. 98% of all physics are empathic and clairvoyant so this energy is very important to them as well as you. Always remember every reader has their boundaries as to how far in the future they want to read. This is of their choice; however, reading beyond 6 months is a very hazy situation. Our free will plays an important role in our destiny and we are able to change anything. This is the main reason why many readers do not go beyond the 3 to 6 months mark.

Wishing  you the most producive moon, especially in areas of your surroundings, work and prosperity.

Namaste

Maharani

This is my first comment but I feel like I should have been making loads of comments now because I always like your stuff. Maybe comments are for more hit and miss blogs than your own. When you maintain a consistent level of high quality output I reckon people are less inclined to comment because they have come to expect it from you. Just a theory.

Perfectly stated!!! Now it’s time someone actually drew attention to this, and talked about the well-known… I suppose other blogs who make such false comments, with ill-informed and basic one-liner comments are, in-effect, summing up their blog readership and the calibre of folks they will often attract…
